Stayed two nights at this place. Check in at the hotel next door. Parking is semi-convenient. The family room does have four beds but it is small. The shower stall is barely large enough to stand in. The area is busy but close to many things. For the price it’s a decent stay, certainly nothing fancy.

Such a great little boutique hotel, in the perfect spot with public transport and shopping available at your door stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend staying here for a short or long trip to Berlin.

The hotel was very clean, but old. If you are arriving after hours or on the weekend, you will need to get your keys from the hotel next door. We arrived Sunday around 5PM and found the outside door locked with no instruction. I started to panic. By chance, my wife went to the hotel next door and found out what we had to do. No lift. No sun-blocking shades, no AC. Very hot in the room. Good neighborhood, lots of places to eat or shop. Close to public transportation (S & U bahns & buses). Used them to go into center of Berlin.

Really great stay. Lovely, comfortable room (although more functional than luxurious) with a nice breakfast. Very convenient for travelling into the city centre and a nice breakfast too. Then only hiccup was checking in - we got no answer from the hotel when we arrived and couldn't get in at first. Thankfully someone let us into the building and we learned that we had to check in via the hotel next door. Don't let that put you off though.

Good hotel, handy for Tegel airport
The hotel is clean, the rooms light, but you have to climb a dark staircase to get to the first floor reception, and the breakfast (included) was tasty and wholesome. The staff are friendly. It is a few minutes from a bus that gets you to Tegel Airport in 25 mins, including a wait. The same bus also takes you to Schloss Charlottenburg, which has beautiful free park attached. Buses and trains were frequent and stations clean.

We arrived at the hotel very late night and found no difficulty obtained the key from the hotel's partner just next door. The receptionist at the hotel was generous to give us a late check out and helped out so that we could keep our baggage with the hotel's partner. Overall, it's a very pleasant stay and wish to come back in the future :)

Hotel is located close to S-bahn and U-bahn stops. Public transport in Berlin is very well developed so you can get anywhere you want just in the minutes. However I've been travelling for some time now and very rarely I stayed in such hotel. I would rate it for Hostel rather than Hotel. It is being very noisy in the room from the road site Reception desk works only till 6pm so if you arrive later you will have to play with the safe next to front door. Price was OK.

Late checkin was guaranteed until 6pm. I arrived at 5:35pm to find the clerk racing out the door. They have late checkin procedures for after 6, so I would still have been able to check in, but this was just sloppy. The breakfast was adequate, but not great - I went elsewhere on one of the three mornings. Housekeeping was spotty -- some days, not done until quite late in the afternoon, and some days not done completely, just partway. The price was comparable to other places I had stayed in Charlottenburg, so I think I got a decent value. Beware the bathroom fixtures -- wild and instantaneous swings from frigid cold to scalding hot and back. Try to shower when nobody else is.

Das Zimmer ist noch älter und verwohnter als auf den Werbefotos. Leider gab es die abgebildeten Stühle und den Tisch nicht. Ein Stuhl am Schreibtisch oder das Bett selbst waren Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Bad war ausreichend. Alles war sehr sauber, das war ein Pluspunkt. Das Personal im Partnerhotel war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut.

Der Empfang und die Begrüßung der Mitarbeiter war zuvorkommend, der Check in verlief reibungslos. Das Zimmer hat sehr stark nach altem Teppich gerochen, sodass wir uns Raumerfrischer besorgen mussten, um es auszuhalten. Ein Teil der Glühbirnen war defekt, das Kopfteil des Bettes was locker. Das für uns unangenehmste war, dass es an 2 von 3 Tage früh kein warmes Wasser zum duschen gab.

einfache Pension in guter Lage
Praktisch zwischen S und U-Bahn gelegen ist diese Pension in der 1. Etage eines Mietshauses. Die Tür zum Flur hatte unten einen großen Spalt, durch den Licht drang und machte das Zimmer hellhörig. Dadurch wurde ich durch die Arbeiter, die das Zimmer gegenüber bewohnten gegen 5 Uhr geweckt. Mein Einzelbett hatte eine Lücke zur Wand, weil es nicht ganz in die Nische hinein passte. Die Heizung war aus, was ich leider zu spät merkte. Ansonsten alles sauber.
Frühstück war ok. Für den für Berlin recht günstigen Preis hatte ich aber auch nicht viel mehr erwartet.
