Comfortable room, with aircon which was needed in the heat. Very typical size and design of an Ibis hotel. Beware Google maps will send you to the wrong location for the parking recommended, tried i-phone maps and took us straight there. Great location for a choice of restaurants.

It located in my daughter’s university, so we could meet up easily. That’s the reason I choose this hotel. Besides this I think I wouldn’t choose it because the room is way too small, no fridge and safe. Also the breakfast options were too less, it didn’t worth the price.

This particular property is ideally located very close to the Rockhal venue...about a 3 minute walk. There are several dining areas close by as well as a large shopping mall. The train station is a 5 minute walk away.
The hotel has an excellent breakfast and the staff is very helpful. Also, what I really like is the showers have very good water pressure! Many hotels do not have that.
The rooms are smaller than those in the USA but it seems that is a European thing. No big deal.
I would definitely stay here again :)

Great location and service in Ibis size rooms

Great location near the university with excellent staff and everything you can need. I had really friendly helpful service both at the front desk and in the bar/restaurant. The rooms are not large, especially the bath, but it is perfectly adequate for a short stay and the location cannot be beat. There is no parking on site, and the pay lights are somewhat expensive but if you’re willing to park on the University campus it is cheaper.

Friendly team good breakfast would appreciate a small fridge in the room and tea /coffee facilities. Mattress very odd doesn’t fit the bed frame and super thin but comfortable nevertheless. Parking is a challenge perhaps a deal with the Belval plaza would be a good idea to set up.

Good hotel overall. It is conveniently located with Rockhal, Belval station, a shopping mall, restaurants and bars, a grocery store and France all being on a walking distance away from the hotel. The staff people were friendly, and the WI-FI quality was very good. Strongly recommended if you would like to attend a concert at Rockhal and explore the surrounding area.

A reasonable efficient business stay hotel.

The hotel is nothing fancy but it’s not pretending to be. What it is is very efficient, check in and out no hassle, breakfast decent standard, rooms clean and bed is comfortable enough. For a non fussy business traveller it does the job. The local area has a number of eating and drinking options. It’s not a busy area and lacks atmosphere but the options are good and it’s ever expanding.

Hotel check-in and check-out was smooth. Staff was helpful as needed but did not go above and beyond. The area was lovely. Room did not have AC as advertised. Also every time we left the hotel our key card to the room would deactivate and we’d need to request a new one daily. Room was small but pleasant, bathroom was acceptable. Overall would recommend for the deal.

Good enough but far from Luxembourg City

The hotel is good enough - no frills, clean and with multi-lingual friendly staff. The town in which the hotel is situated is a suburban area with not much except for the steel factory and a small shopping centre, quite a long distance away from Luxembourg city centre. Usually, it would be a train ride into Luxembourg but in my case, the trains were not working (April 2018), so it takes a replacement bus ride followed by a train ride just to get into Luxembourg city centre!

Room felt like a prison cell. Just a bed and walls. Noise in the room was awful with the sound of water being heated all night, this drone went in 24 hrs a day.
Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were pure flacid rubbish.

If you want something to eat it's frozen pizzas or nothing, discovered this when I ordered a \"pizza Maison\" and staff informed me there was none left..!! One member of staff was the receptionist, the bar man and the cook.

I have stayed in multiple hotels throughout Europe and this one wins hands down for being the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. This is the fist negative review I've ever made on any hotel. Usually if it's bad I write nothing, but this one was so bad i felt compelled to leave a review. Avoid if you can, I wouldn't want anyone to suffer what I went through

Parking ticket outside hotel spoiled trip.

We stayed in this hotel to attend a football match between our local Welsh team and Differdange in the first round of the European league.The hotel was close to the train station and only a few stops from the stadium.Unfortunately we did not realise that it is in the middle of a new complex which is still being built, so it did resemble a building site in places.The hotel is modern and clean as it is obviously very new and there are several places toeat close by which were of a good standard.The Belval shopping plaza is opposite.Our main gripe was that there is no free parking near to the hotel.We were informed by one member of hotel staff that we could park opposite the hotel in the shaded areas.We did this and went out for the day.When we came back we had a parking ticket for €49!We asked for help on how to pay the fee as we were due to leave the next day.This involved driving into the main town to find the post office.This all added to the stress of organising this ad well as driving g back to Dunkirk in time for our ferry.We were not impressed and this spoilt what should have been an enjoyable visit to Luxembourg.

It was very comfortable and close to the concert venue. It is in a remote location but does have a good size shopping center and very close to the train station to get to the city. The bed was firm and I had a good night's sleep. The bathroom is a little cheap because it's all plastic but it gets the job done.

If you have business at Belval, this is your hotel

... since it's the only one. The hotel is brand new and clean, the stuff are helpful and polite, and you get the basics like in other Ibis hotels. There is wireless internet in all rooms, which is usually sufficient. Breakfast is additional for a small fee. Belval is basically under construction, so there is not much to do around the hotel: there is a shopping mall, a cinema multiplex, and a couple of restaurants and bars. For the business traveler who has to be in Belval, this is your hotel.

Very convinient if you need a hotel in Belval

Belval is a newly developed area, which is still very much under constructions. In a few years it will be the University of Luxembourg campus and it will be buzzing with life. For now, it's a big construction site, with a shopping mall, a few offices and only a couple of university institutions. If for whatever reason you need to stay here, Ibis is your best and probably only option, unless you want to take the train or drive in every morning (which is perfectly possible, the train connections are very good). This is a typical Ibis hotel, with very basic amenities, but it is very new, it is clean, the hotel employees are competent and helpful and the rooms are relatively big (for an Ibis). There is free wifi in the lobby and free wired internet in the rooms. For a business trip to Belval, I would recommend this as the place to stay.

Perfecte locatie als je voor een concert in de Rockhall moet zijn en het winkelcentrum is recht voor de deur. Vriendelijk personeel. Parkeren is mogelijk bij het winkelcentrum, wel redelijk duur, maar de accommodatie biedt voor gasten een korting om uit te rijden. Op een knipperend licht in onze badkamer was het hotel verder in orde.

Ich habe nach einem Konzert in der direkt gegenüberliegenden Rockhal übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sehr angenehm, sauber und ein sehr gutes Bett. Mit dem Frühstück war ich nicht ganz zufrieden: dass um 7:00 Uhr der Speisesaal komplett voll ist, ist ja okay und auch nicht zu ändern. Aber die Auswahl an Lebensmitteln war nicht gut, das Rührei halb roh und sehr unappetitlich.

Hier liegt das Ibis-Hotel mit einer tollen Lage direkt an der Rockhal, einem großen Einkaufszentrum, der Bahn, Universität und Restaurants. Insgesamt ist das Hotel in einem sehr guten Zustand, sauber und komfortabel.

Einzig der Rezeptionist machte beim Auschecken einen genervten/unfreundlichen Eindruck. Ich musste nochmal zurück, weil ich etwas im Hotelzimmer vergessen hatte und der erweitere Arbeitsaufwand hat ihm sichtlich nicht geschmeckt, weil er gerade am sauber machen der Tische gewesen ist.
