Bed not comfortable

This hotel is okay for only one night stay. It’s a hotel meant for a tired traveler to just take a shower, sleep, and leave after one night. The room is extremely small and the bed was not comfortable. We didn’t realize that and actually left a day earlier as we couldn’t take the discomfort any longer. The hotel staff was nice and helpful.

Very comfortable stay

A very pleasant stay with a warm welcome and good humoured staff who spoke excellent English.
Parking at the front of the hotel and although 30 minute walk to the city. Less than 7euro taxi ride.
My partner would have preferred a power socket next to the full length mirror in the room. Otherwise perfect.

Great hotel, room clean and modern. Excellent buffet breakfast and the staff were all lovely. Ideal location too, on the bus route from the airport, close the football stadium and a nice 30 min walk to centre of Elche. A few nice bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Property is clean and basic but it’s all you need for a pre/post airport stay.

Breakfast provided was adequate and kept topped up during the time there.

Only slightly confusing part was finding the car park but once found and buzzed through it’s fine.

Horrible service

I flew in late and had a look on Hotels.com since it was very busy for hotels as a lot of flights were cancelled that night. They did not respect the reservation and said that it was IMPOSSIBLE since they were completely booked since midday. The person working the reception that night was rude and of no help whatsoever!

Our stay was surprisingly comfortable at ibis Alicante Elche. The hotel is perfectly adequate for a business trip. Very clean, bed comfy, room quiet. It is quite a bit out of the center of the town but in the local areas are sufficient restaurants and bars, plus two supermarkets. Our only complaint is the breakfast... the full buffet is 8 euros but the worse, meanest breakfast buffet we have ever seen. The continental option is a much better deal though for the same price, you can have a fresh pressed orange juice instead of factory juice in nearby cafes.

hotel in a quiet part of elche, ideal as a stoppover . we stayed 9 nights as were viewing campsites in the area so was a
good base.staff extremley helpful but sometimes found it hard to understand what we wanted. breakfast a bit pricey for what it was - continental buffet, so we used the supermarket around the corner for rolls etc.a few local bars/ cafe's but all menus in spanish so found it difficult to get what we wanted. a ten minute walk away are more bars and cafe's but again all menu's in spanish and very little english spoken so was a challenge to order food

We were made very welcome with our dog. Considering the immediate area was a car sales estate with two fast food restaurants the food offering was very poor.... microwave menu and expensive.

Lovely staffs

Staff was so helpful and kind. I had so many problems with people who cant speak english in spain to ask something but here at ibis. I stayed there to watch football match elche cf vs realmardrid. I was anxious because it was my first europe visit. However i was very relieved by staff's kindness at ibis.

Nice Hotel at a Budget price

Reception were very friendly and helpful and one person spoke very good English. They were helpful and knowledgful about the area and the hotel is in a good and quiet location on the fringe of the town, with a bus stop right outside the door and a Chinese Wok restaurant opposite. Parking in the vacinity is good (and free) but the hotel does have it´s own underground car park at just €4 per night. TV in the room is fine, but needs updating!

Good quiet Elche hotel

We stayed on 29th September 2014 for one night and liked the hotel so much that we booked a night's stay on the night before flying to England. It is so close to Alicante airport that it is very convenient for travellers into and out of the airport (as we were.)
The room was quiet (very important to us) and the bed was large and comfortable. The shower was very good and the air conditioning was good too. The location was attractive with ample outside parking (as well as inside parking if required.) There were bars and cafes close by too, in addition to the hotel's catering facilities. We shall recommend the hotel to friends and we intend to use it again in April 2015 for the day we arrive and the eve of our departure.

Great value hotel for all the family!

I booked a late getaway and chose this brand as it was an established chain. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were warm and friendly. Definitely one to recommend as it,'s location is perfect...15 minute bus ride from Alicante International airport (€1.55 fare) that drops you outside the hotel and only 15 minute walk from the centre of the historical town of Elche. Public transport is excellent and the regular bus routes can take you to many coastal resorts for very little, why rent a car? There is also a municipal pool complex within 2 minutes walk that caters for all ages.

Great stay for kids!.

The Ibis Hotel in Elche was a great experience for my son and I. We like the close proximity to all the sports-faccilities (squash, football, tennis) but in particular we spent hours on the skatin-rink next door.
The hotelstaff were ALL extremely attentive to our needs and in particular we would like to single out Jesus for his everpresent help.
