Property was nice. We were surprised by the housekeeping fees. There was no broom, dustpan or vacuum, but yet we were not informed clearly about the $45/each housekeeping request. We tipped them very well but did not realize the hotel was charging us extra for this. The AC and dishwasher were mediocre. AC in one of the bedrooms did not work much at all. The dishwasher was broken and took 2-3 washes to get the pods to take.

There was no hot water and the advertise falsely for a two bedroom to have two full beds, but it was two twin beds.
The experienced lack of sleep because of the tiny beds that every two person had to sleep on where it fit only one person as a twin bed. Every single day the water was cold and we had to be there for four days without shower. We paid three times more than we would have paid for Hilton or Sheraton so that we have the resort experience.
This was just like a motel please don’t believe the stars!

It was the best stay for our family’s first time in Hawaii!! I can’t recommend this place enough to people. It’s great for families like us with kids. The views are spectacular. The staff even just from the beginning were so welcoming! They gave us free water flasks bottles and beach toys for the kids! The rooms were so clean and the valet people were incredibly nice and always smiling! Would definitely stay here again when we go to Waikiki!

Where to start with this stay? So much to make a trip relaxing here! Like a well-cared for home without all the work. Fantastic location with or without a personal vehicle. Private parking available onsite. Impeccable level of service and attention from all levels of staff and workers here. Rooms are clean with all the comforts of home including nice bathrooms, kitchens stocked with basic cooking and eating needs, spacious living rooms and relaxing lanais. Dining, shopping, and beach all within walking distance. Loved having the use of their dedicated room to wait in before checking in and after checking out. They have anticipated most traveler’s needs and taken care of many of the travel stresses often encountered. They also have a dedicated area which includes the pool, a sauna, a luxurious grilling area with comfortable dining adjacent to the grills, and a children’s area for the littles with musical instruments and other entertaining games. Fitness area in the same general area. Their restaurant was closed and undergoing renovations during our stay. English and Japanese spoken by many staff. Nice amenities given to guests including reef-safe sunscreen, canvas beach bag and water bottles. There’s so much to love about this place. I highly encourage anyone considering a stay in Waikiki to look at this accommodation.

First of all, I selected this property based on guest reviews in addition to what we needed. The hotel upgraded our two bedroom partial ocean view suite to a front ocean view suite and the view did not disappoint at all. Absolutely breathtaking!

Our suite was nice and modern except the slatted doors looked out of place. Full kitchen with dishes, washer and dryer, big living room, and bidets if you are into that. We were out touring most of the time but were extremely comfortable when we were in our clean suite.

Eggs and things, breakfast restaurant, next door was a great place to eat but long wait at times. McDonald’s is on the other side of the hotel along with other numerous eateries and shops.

Very friendly and honest staff. Our last day at the hotel right before checkout, I stopped at the front desk for an extra room key as we had both left them in the room. In addition to the room key, the staff asked for my mother who had left her billfold outside of our suite on the bench near the elevator. Security guard found it and turned it in to the front desk. We definitely wanted to thank as well as compensate the security guard but the front desk shrugged it off like no big deal and no compensation necessary. We thank the staff, especially that security guard, for your professionalism and honesty. All our amazing adventures and experiences would have been soured if my mother had not had her billfold returned. Mahalo!

My family and I arrived fairly late in the evening but were greeted with amazing professional service. As Alaskans not yet prepared for the warm Hawaiian night we were offered crisp refreshments while we checked in as well as cold washcloths. My daughter was offered complimentary beach toys as well as a beach tote bag and sun screen. After check in we were given a quick tour of our room which was pristine. The staff were super friendly and kind throughout our stay. If your staying in Waikiki this hotel has everything your looking for. 5 star service

The view was beautiful!! The staff was very friendly and helpful, specifically the bell boys. Loved the gifts, although I think they should hand out depending on family size instead of one per reservation. Housekeeping did a great job and was very prompt. Last day there one of the showers was freezing cold and would not budge but we just used the other one in our room. I would stay here again. Location was perfect to the beach, many restaurants near by, convenience store was right outside the door. Thank you for making our first stay in Oahu memorable!

Stop looking and book this place!!!

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!! We arrived in Honolulu early and I was blown away by the kindness of the staff-everyone was so welcoming and helped get us checked into our room as early as possible. If you’ve ever travelled with young children, you can understand how nice this is! The gift of a tote bag with reusable water bottles, beach toys and sunscreen was a really beautiful and unexpected addition. Every single interaction we had with staff was warm, kind, and an embodiment of the ohana and aloha spirit of Hawaii.

The room itself was STUNNING and had everything we needed and more. It really felt like home. All of the extra little touches did not go unnoticed -newspaper deliveries, re-stocking amenities, and even a little note that due to our “privacy please” sign being out we had missed maid service for the day but that if we needed or wanted anything, the front desk would happily assist.

The location was perfect-just mere steps to the beach, shopping and fantastic places to eat.

Whilst we were there they said there was some construction going on- apart from drop cloths protecting the inside of a lift, I neither saw nor heard anything, which was great.

Do yourself a favour and book this place. You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Staff was so kind and helpful. They showered us with gifts upon arrival, which our four children loved. The location/ convenience of getting to the beach and shopping was perfection. Our ocean view two bedroom with a kitchen was amazing. We didn’t want to leave and will no doubt be back!

Location and views are incredible. The sunsets from the property were seriously out of this world. Amazing experience.

There is a lot of traffic noise along the strip, but our property was on Level 32 (Premium Oceanfront), so was not too distruptive.

Having stayed in both east & middle apartments at Waikiki Beach Tower, I'd recommend the apartments on the most easterly side (#01) as these are larger, and still enjoy sweeping views.

Can’t beat the location - directly across the road from Waikīkī Beach, and surrounded by shopping and dining options. Our 2 bed apartment fit the 5 of us perfectly and gave us the independence we wanted. Kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms in good condition, and eating breakfast while staring at the ocean was a great way to start the day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I’d emailed them a few times prior to arrival without response, which is why I marked them down on communication. Overall, recommend and would stay again

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Aston Waikiki Beach Tower, thanks in large part to the incredible front desk staffs, special shout outs to front manager Mike, front desk staffs: Cindy, Tina and Jessica. They were welcoming, friendly, and extremely attentive to all my needs, making sure my stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
Additionally, the valet staff including AJ, Tony, and Jack were outstanding in their service. They were always prompt, courteous, and went above and beyond to assist with any requests I had during my stay. Their professionalism and warm demeanor truly enhanced my overall experience at the hotel.
I cannot recommend Aston Waikiki Beach Tower enough, besides the unbelievable location, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the team. Their dedication to guest satisfaction and genuine care for their patrons truly set this hotel apart. I will definitely be returning for another stay in the future!

Son's 21st birthday vacation

Hotel is a nice location since you can walk out of hotel and Waikiki beach is right there. They upgraded us to a ocean view room for our son's 21st birthday. Only problem is that we had water leakage from the hallway and in kitchen. It didn't happen till the last few days we stayed. We were there for a whole week. Entire staff was friendly, helpful, and available when we needed things.

Amazing Oceanfront Condo to watch Waikiki Surfers

Amazing stay at the Aston Beach Tower. We stayed in a premium oceanfront condo with an amazing view of Waikiki Beach. Make sure you stay on a premium floor if you want an unobstructed view of the ocean, lower floors are blocked by the building in front. Property manager were very welcoming and accommodating. As we were two couples they pushed together the twin beds in 2nd room to better meet our needs. Condo is in a great location, easy walking distance to everything in Waikiki. One of the only condos in Waikiki where you can watch the surfers from your personal balcony. Would highly recommend to others and will definitely stay there again.

Definitely worth considering for a Waikiki hotel

Yes, it was expensive, but everywhere in Waikiki is. But everything was in great condition and was very clean. The hotel was in a great location just across the street from the beach, walking distance to everything and awesome views! The staff was also super friendly and accommodating with free valet for one vehicle. A welcome fruit juice, warm towel, refillable water bottles, and even a little sand bucket kit for our toddler were given to us on checkin. No issues with the hotel at all, and would definitely consider staying at again if we come back to Waikiki!

This is our 3rd time at this hotel and we will return.

Customer service is phenomenal. In fact, we broke one of their hotel policies without realizing it and usually they charge for that (I won't go into specifics but it was definitely our fault) and although they did not have to, they made an exception for us when they did not have to.

Thank you to everyone for such a fantastic stay and big thank you to Tina who is just the sweetest and worked with us on the issue. Again, our fault and they were incredibly gracious. We will return.

In the front you have the ocean and the side and back were mountains. You could also see the Diamond Head Crater. The kitchen was fully equipped - stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. And daily housekeeping. Perfect!

We booked our Hawaii trip through Expedia, which included hotel and flights. We poured over the reviews for the Aston, and finally just pulled the trigger in booking it for the week after Christmas. We opted out of a car rental because we did a little bit of research and we realized that we were 20 mins away from the airport so we opted to Uber instead. We are a family of six with two parents and four children ranging from ages 7 to 22, two of which are adults. We booked a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen living room pull out bed in the living room… And full ocean view. Upon arrival we were greeted by the front desk clerks who checked us in early and offered us cold drinks, cold towels, as well as Hawaiian necklaces and a souvenir bag filled with reusable water bottles, water toys for the kids and sunscreen kit. Our rooms were big, and our balcony stretched out across the living room and dining area and access to the patio and clear unobstructed view of the ocean! Our stay was amazing and we can’t wait to go back. The only cons that we can say we found were that the children were unable to use the pool area because it was closed at the time, and there were some issues with the elevators while we were there during our stay, but nothing so major that it ruined our trip. Housekeeping checked in with us every day. Restaurants, stores and beach are all within walking distance!

Very friendly staff and great valet parking. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I gave 3 stars due to the very dated decor and lack of outdoor entertainment space and overall lack of frills. We arrived to be told the pool and outdoor bbq area were closed. I wish they had told us ahead of time as we would have stayed somewhere else. Overall a good stay with kids but not enough frills for the price we paid. Expected a bit more for our money.

The pool is not functional for the next few months, but the rooms were laid out beautifully, with a family it is hard to beat a full sized frog and washer dryer. the view was amazing and it was very central to the Kuhio beach area. We did resort passes to two pools. The Waikiki beach Marriott resort and spa (book through ResortPass.com) was great except the 3yo thought the pool was cold. We also did the Hyatt Centric a few blocks away. They didn’t include parking but were much cheaper because it was a large hot tub that was bath temperature 3’9” deep and two wading areas both below your knees (perfect for the 3 yo but boring floor the 8 yo or above).

The hotel had a free Redbox like setup and the Ukelele lesson was fun.

I would return here. Everything worked seamlessly.

Although, I have stayed at many hotels in Waikiki over the years, this was my first time staying at the Waikiki Aston. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and courteous. We got to the hotel earlier than expected, and we were able to leave our baggage in the courtesy lounge and use the pool facilities while we waited. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beach was right across the street. We could everywhere from were we were. We had a wonderful time and made even better by the staff and the hotel itself. We defiantly will stay there again. Loved it.
