The hotel is perfectly located right in front of the lake, offering a truly magnificent view.

It’s also within easy walking distance of the main restaurants and shops, which makes getting around very convenient.

The breakfast is excellent, with a good variety and quality.

The staff is consistently helpful, attentive, and focused on making guests feel comfortable throughout their stay.

Free parking is a great added benefit.

Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Overall, I would say it was a nice stay, but there are several areas that need improvement, especially considering the price.

The hotel room felt a bit run down and outdated, although it did have a very nice view, which was definitely a highlight. The reception staff at the front door were very kind and helpful throughout my stay, which made a positive difference.

Breakfast was good in terms of quality, but I was not greeted upon arrival, which made the experience feel a bit impersonal. The restaurant, however, served a very good sandwich and coffee, which I enjoyed.

The spa experience was disappointing. While it had the potential to be relaxing, the facilities felt neglected. The pool was not clean, the jacuzzi was not working, and at one point they even ran out of water. They also did not have robes available in my size, which shows a lack of attention to detail.

The massage itself was not good. The therapist seemed rushed, had a poor attitude, and was not particularly polite or attentive. It felt like the session lacked care and professionalism.

Given the overall condition of the facilities, rooms, and building, I believe the property would really benefit from renovations. At its current price point, it does not offer good value compared to other places with better-maintained facilities and higher-quality service.

In summary, a pleasant stay in parts thanks to the staff and the view, but the overall quality does not match the price.

Disappointing. Bed was terrible, very hard and old, room was way too hot to sleep every night with no AC. Restaurant was OK for breakfast, but service at dinner was absolutely awful - took 25 minutes just to get a menu, despite the restaurant not being busy, as staff were too busy chatting among themselves. One star for the location, and some of the staff are good, but overall this is a very poorly run hotel and fails miserably at the core hotel function of being a comfortable room to sleep. Awful.

The lobby was lovely, breakfast was excellent every morning with lots of options and tons of fresh healthy food. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful, had great experiences with everyone we interacted with. We had some trouble with our original booking and the hotel was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay and were fairly compensated for the issue. Location right across the lake was perfect. Would definitely come again!

However, on the bad side:

- The exterior of the room at the balcony was full with fungus.
- The jacuzzi was not working.
- The hair dryer was not working.
- The entryway of the room used white light. It's widely known that 4* and up rated hotels should use warm light.
- TV was way too small.
- Hotel didn't implement Expedia status policy.

This hotel is beautifully located just across the lake and the hotel staff were so courteous they offered us an upgrade to a suite because of our Gold status on Expedia and we were able to see the 2 volcanos right from the room. They even sent someone to retrieve my lost jacket which I had left behind in a store and was unable to retrieve because I was away all day on a sightseeing tour. Excellent location, friendly staff, they speak excellent English , the spa services were superb . What else can I say , I would surely stay here again!

Nicely located hotel. Staff was friendly, but as person that travels a lot on business, there was a little too much fraternizing among the up front staff while on duty, it’s not professional. Rooms are on the small side, but clean and modern. There is limited parking available. The restaurant was very good. Gym could use more equipment. It’s a good hotel, and I would recommend it.

Studio suite room was large and had a nice view of the volcano, but it was pretty tired looking, with a couple of holes in the curtain sheers and carpet that looked like it had seen better days. The air conditioner worked fine but was rather noisy. The bed was not very comfortable. While the room seemed clean in general, there was grime on the grout of some of the shower tiles and especially around the shower door, which was a real turn-off. The shower was equipped with a handheld shower head that was supposed to fit into an overhead stand but it often did not fit and fell out, causing the water to leak through the shower door and flood the bathroom floor. Breakfast was decent, but there wasn't a lot of variety in terms of hot dishes. Given the ratings and the price we paid for the room, I was expecting luxury but ultimately what we got was an oversized but very average room with a nice view at a high price.

The hotel is one of the nicer ones in the town, it's centrally located but tricky to find if you are driving. Staff were friendly and the rooms were nice. Everything apart from the reception/bar area looks like it needs updating. We stayed on two very wet rainy days and found it difficult to find anything to do.

The staff are not very nice. They act like they are bothered if asked for anything, even checking into the hotel. I had a lot of problems with wifi during my stay. I even changed rooms because they said the signal might be better in a different room but it was not any better in the 2nd room. The cleaning staff were all very kind and they seemed to be always working unlike the ones in the lobby and restaurant who were always talking to each other in a group and using their phones. I picked the Radison because of the reputation. In other countries the staff are not allowed to be paid for doing nothing. Lots of dishes were broken in the restaurant when I was there. Trays being dropped. I am not returning. It is not worth the money they charge. Yes, they have a view of a pretty lake but many other hotels are really close to the lake and lots of restaurants where you can go have a glass of wine and enjoy the lake view.

Place was perfect for us. Just next door to the Turistour company that we booked our trip across the Andes to Barloche with. Wilt the early departure, our hotel was perfect. Plus we were in a great location. Walking distance to fabulous dinner at Casa Valdes, a great fish restaurant. And of course, our view was tremendous, as we overlooked two volcanoes.

Bad wifi - low signal and many times it just stopped working. Also, many problems with streaming sites including netflix, youtube and amazon prime video. It says that the service provider, used by the Radisson in Puerto Varas, has some sort of VPN blocker which the guest cannot remove so the guest cannot use many streaming services. When I complained they said one problem is the number of people using the wifi..as i looked around all of the workers were on their phones. Maybe it would help the paying guests if the people who were being paid to do a job were not on their phones using the wifi when they should be working. Also, in many areas of the hotel the wifi just doesn't work. This is supposed to be one of the luxury hotel in Puerto Varas and it has the worst wifi in all of the hotels I have stayed at in PV. Also, the hotel is on a very busy corner. If you have a car, be prepared for a difficult time in getting into and out of the underground parking. There are a lot of staff in the restaurant just standing around on their cell phones and staring at the guests. It made me uncomfortable. When I was sitting in the bar area, they stood around talking, did not ask me if I wanted to order a drink and I had to walk to the bar and ask them to do their job. I don't think the service and amenities at this hotel justify the price they charge for a room.

Only there for one night prior taking the Cruces Andino tour from Puerto Varas to Bariloche. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the bus pick up point for the start of the tour (four buses, three ferries). It is also located very close to the downtown points of interest of Puerto Varas, a very walkable town. It is a very nice hotel with great front desk staff, located on the lakefront with beautiful views. Wifi was strong, breakfast was exceptional. The building is starting to show it age around the corners in the sleeping rooms (at least mine) but all in all it is very clean and well run hotel. I would stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location in town with lovely views of the lake. The rooms are dated but spacious. The service on our first fews days was really poor; staff were unhelpful and unfriendly and far below other Radisson’s. Food at the restaurant is ok quality but pricey; the menu is very poor if you are vegetarian. The quality of the room service was poor and my partner couldn’t eat his burger; if you are vegetarian you have the choice of a basic salad. Gym is ok - old equipment but useable for the most part, swimming pool isn’t big enough to swim in but the sauna and massage is nice.

The views from the balcony of the lake and the two volcanoes were breathtaking! Our stay was almost perfect. Location is great, bar service and drinks are great (welcome drink!), the room and the cleaning were good, reception guys are helpful, the sauna and pool were nice (quiet as I like it). Shame about breakfast which was way below par with the rest of the hotel, both the service and what was on offer. The fresh juice was nice (orange is processed), the coffee awful, the pastries dry and tasteless, and the service non existent. Despite breakfast, I recommend the hotel, but hope they can improve it.

Incredible view and walking distance to everything

The hotel is in a great location over looking the lake within walking distance to everything that you'd want to see. Make sure to request a room facing the lake so that you can have the incredible view, which is the whole reason for staying at this hotel. The breakfast buffet is decent offering breads, juices, yogurt, cereal, bacon, pastries, and eggs. Skip the coffee and head around the corner for something tastier.
The room was perfectly clean and the bathroom has both a shower and spa tub.
I did encounter less than stellar customer service when I asked the bar to help me open a bottle of wine and loan me two wine glasses so that my wife and I could drink it in our room. (Side note: Strangely, while the rooms do offer minibars there are no wine glasses in the room.) Someone that appeared to be the bar manager gave me a lecture on how she should charge me a corkage fee for opening the wine, but she would do me the extra special favor of not charging me. When I commented that the rooms don't have wine glasses or wine openers and that I've never heard of a hotel charging a corkage fee for drinking in your room, she responded that the point is for guests to come to the hotel bar to consume their wine and not bring your own in, but of course she would make the exception for me. Guess I got lucky.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson. Very comfortable. Spacious room, clean, great bed. Good size bathroom. Good service. Perfect location, restaurant looks out over the lake, with a wonderful view of Mt Osorno. Hotel is right beside town square, very central to restaurants and money exchange. The tours leave from right beside the hotel and they are outstanding, especially Mt Osorno, and Peulla trip.
