Overall, it was a nice place to stay. Couple issues stood out - insufficient and inconvenient parking (21 spots is not enough for a hotel that big right off the autobahn) and a strangely bulky physical key.

Booked a room for a child and 2 adults- check-in we find out there is only 1 large bed no kid bed. Theu let us know that all rooms with 3 beds /couch are taken and rolling beds also in use. We asked if we could get the money back, he said only one room (we had booked 2 rooms for our extended family) could be reimbursed.

For Canadians who travel in Europe it is a surprise that hotels do not offer included parking and breakfast and often no coffee makers in the rooms. However, this one had a nice buffet breakfast for just 10 Euro. Also, Lidl, an affordable grocery store is just 5 min walk under highway. Nice restaurant in the lobby.

The room was spacious for a family, quiet and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The food for dinner was a help yourself buffet which was really nice as was the breakfast - both had plenty of choice. It was nice to be so close to the River Moselle for an evening stroll. We would stay here again.

This is not a 4* hotel. Maybe it used to be but it lacks the facilities required to be 4*. The room contained no coffee/tea or spoons. The room was very basic. And the restaurant was closed (we stayed on a friday night) despite the website saying it was open. It was decent for a 3*, but poor for a 4*.

1 overnight stay during European road trip. Parking underneath hotel, tight but easy to find. Reception very welcoming. Room very spacious with great views of River Moselle. Shower excellent. Bed very comfy.
Open until 10pm Chinese restaurant buffet fantastic, £20 per head plus drinks . Shops included Lidl & Aldi (2 min walk away).
Breakfast options great, fresh (typical continental) including smoked salmon.
Late check out (Midday). Would book again.

We enjoyed superb food and service for dinner and breakfast. The terrace overlooking the river is a magical dining spot. The staff were very helpful and the room and bed gave us deep sleep. Our bikes stayed outside. Perhaps a roof for bike parking would be great.

On first impression I was not so impressed with the facility and the parking. Parking area is very tight. My Mercedes presented a problem to park. The location on the edge of Trier gave easy excess to the autobahn for any location in the area. City center is 10 minutes drive or a nice 20 minute walk along the Mosel river. Breakfast had all that could be desired. Staff was courteous. We rented an apartment and was pleased with the cleanliness and furnishing. Over all we felt good about the hotel and would go back.

We felt welcomed when we checked in. The room was well lit and furnished in a clean and simple style. We had a snack in thd Bistro and breakfast in the morning and were pleased with yhe qudlity and service.
Parking is sn issue. We found parking in the adjzcent casino whrn we found that all there spots which sre in a number of lacations around the building were full.

Ontbijt was te duur in bergelijk met het brood.
Ook geen airco.
'S morgens hoorde je al snel het verkeer voorbij komen.
Badkamer was ook goed.

This hotel has a fantastic location next to the river on the outskirts of the lovely city. It was as new with everything working as it should. Good efficient and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and the rooms have a very relaxing ambiance. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Trier.

A very “functional” looking type of hotel externally, but internally comfortable and quiet, with impeccable service from the staff. It was cold and dreary outside but pleasant inside and meals were simple but very tasty, notably breakfast. Only negative was that therswas no hot water, only lukewarm, for shower but seemed to improve when we were leaving.

However, there is no coffee machine and/or kettle, no fridge and no ice machine either. There is not much in the way of restaurants near by and certainly nothing (except the Casino), within walking distance.

It's a bus trip from the old town

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable but it's 2.4 kms from the old town so we needed to catch a bus every day. The wifi is quick, free limited car parking and it's right on the Moselle River so nice to watch the barges/boats go by.
The welcome leaflet we were given offered €5 per day if you chose not to have your room serviced daily. You needed to notify reception of your choice, so we did - \"oh, we don't have that any more! \" Why not cross it out and note it is unavailable?

We stayed in this hotel for one night. It is clean and comfortable. The views from higher floors are good and the room we had on the riverside was quiet. The lifts van get busy as this hotel is used by large groups and coach parties. Hotel bar and restaurant are good. They do bicycle hire from the hotel and a ride into Trier along the river side cycle path is good after a long car journey. Car parking can be a bit limited.

Great first experience on our vacation. Right next to some good grocery stores to pick up supplies for our long road trips. Only bad thing is that they don't have enough parking, it was totally full by the time we got there, which was about 6pm. They had a pay parking lot, forgot how much that was, but more than I wanted.

A Good hotel.Although on the outskirts of the centre of Trier there was a regular bus service that was only a very short walking away.Easier and cheaper than trying to park in the centre,Only took a matter of minutes to get into the centre by bus.

Very comfy bed and clean, modern room.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.
The old town is a 30-40 minute pleasant walk along the riverside path or a 5 minute bus ride which costs 2 euros. The bus stop is easy to find and is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Reception will give you a timetable.
Great views of the Mosel from the room and windows that open.

Large spacious room, huge comfortable bed. Large walk in shower and good wifi. The restaurant was good, although not much choice if you're vegetarian! Had a room overlooking the Moselle. The hotel is 2 miles from Trier but there is a frequent bus service which runs from near the hotel. There is a huge Hyper Market, which sells everything, within walking distance. Hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The hotel is clean, and close to the center of this small town. The receptionist is rude, mean with attitude and bad customer service. She was rude with me and with the person on the phone. After she hang up the phone, she spoke in Deutsh with her co-worker and said \"imbessile\", I don't know if she was talking about me or the customer who just called....she has no right to say that to anyone because we are sustomers, guest, visitors of this beautiful country. I was very disappointed of her behavior. I hope the management will take the right step to bring the attention of their staff to treat their guests with respect and courtesy.
I prefer a follow up on this incident from customer service of hotels.com or fourside hotels.

Nice hotel.

Great hotel, wonderful friendly staff, and a very nice European breakfast. Location was adequate, just a few minutes away from the town center. Getting to the hotel by car was a bit tricky as the hotel sits behind a major roadway with only one roundabout access. Would definitely stay again.
