The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is very tired. Although room was more updated than the rest of the property, there was issues with smells in the bathroom and very poor sound proofing (neighbours plumbing and doors opening/closing made getting to sleep tricky).

The pillows stank from the sweat of a thousand heads, there was black mould in the bathroom, stains on the furniture. No hair dryer, no toaster. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. No doona on the bed, just a thin old smelly blanket hidden inside the sheets. No extra blankets or pillows to be found. Had potential to be better if the room had a good clean, pillows replaced. Beds properly made with better bedding, carpet & upholstery cleaned. Felt a bit overpriced for what you got.

This property seems caught in the 1979's. The welcome at the front desk was warm. The one-bedroomed apartment had limited parking. The apartment was comfortable with a large bed in the bedroom and smaller bed in the lounge. There were facilities to make your own breakfast. The bathroom was quite basic with a floor which needed a steam clean. The shower was surprisingly good but the water drained away very slowly. All-in-all a comfortable stay with prices that don't match the amenities.

While most staff were absolutely lovely, my room had stab marks and slashes in the wall as well as smears of something red brown coloured on the walls as well as hairs still under the toilet seat and scum all over the shower, the mini fridge was disgusting and I had to pay a $200 deposit on a $122 dollar room that was putrid. And I honestly feel this review is generous and forgiving.

A very average motel in need of repairs. No towel rack in bathroom, slope of bathroom meant water ran out into living area. Freezer in small fridge completely iced over taking up half of fridge space. Lamp shade in tatters, bedside table filthy and sticky. People allowed to smoke on balcony outside rooms so smoke constantly drifting in. On positive side, reception staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and rooms are cheap, and hotel convenient if you need to be in Footscray area. With new hospital opening around corner, some investment in upgrades would yield a quick return for sure.

The photos shown online do not match the reality of the property. The large reception and dining area are no longer used. Units are tired, especially bathrooms. No shower caddy or soap dish to put anything on. Was given a hairdryer when asked. Did some laundry which was very reasonably priced but room was very shabby. Staff at reception were excellent and always helpful. Footscray is an interesting ethnic area. Very close to central Melb and 20 min walk to train station. Quite different eating options. Well worth a try.

I know this is a budget accommodation but OMG! I could feel the springs in the mattress, the cupboard and bathroom doors didn't close properly. There was no microwave or usb ports. When we left in the morning I could see the cleaners with their cart at another room, went back in to the room to look for a do not disturb sign, there wasn't one. Figured it's a budget motel they probably only clean on checkout. Came back to the room and not only had they been in the room but they had repacked my personal belongings I had left out on the table, moved my personal devices and turned off the tv that I was using to charge my devices with their usb ports. There were what appeared to be some kind of work crew that thought it was ok to say things to my daughter and then yell and carry on at each other around 6-6.30 in the morning as they got ready. Time to shower, no hot water. Quick wash on the sink, hot water. Try a shower again, in for barely 60 seconds, hot water is gone again. The shower went back n forth every minute or so from hot to cold and back again the whole time I was in there. The place looked relatively clean but when I took my shoes off and walked around the room, they got dirty very fast. My daughter checked us in as my flight got in late the first night of our stay and said that the person who was at reception was nice but a little weird and asked if she would be alone in the room, even though the booking said two people. Will not be staying again or recommending.

Our Executive room that was able to sleep 3 with king bed & single bed had a total of 4 pillows with no extra bedding in the cupboards. Missing - towel rails, soap holder in shower that had a malfunctioning shower head & hairdryer. It had 2 glasses, 3 different cups, 1 bed light that needed changing. We reported the shower head issue but was not fixed for our 2nd day.

I found someone's else doll, clothing and dirty socks in the room. At night woke up with brawl outside. Table lamp was broken, doap holder in shower broken, so could only keep toothbrush and soap on the shower floor, made a video of bed bug when woke early, smashed it to make a blood splash, found cigarett but wrapped in bedding inpecting my mattress for more bugs. Kitchen didn't work despite breakfast still advertised.

Look, the studio room was really pretty good.Great position, a great room rate, and not a bad room…maybe better cleaning? I know I’m probably sounding picky, but the range hood in the studio room was covered in dust and the floor (bathroom included) really needed to be swept…shower head really needs to be replaced or at least repaired, and no towel rails or toilet paper holder,but, having said that, great position, great room rate and I’d probably stay there again!

Arrived at around 3pm for check in, reception closed. Sign said back in 10 only had to wait a couple of minutes. Found a pile of dirty and wet towels in the cupboard. Walked back to reception and staff removed them for us. Pillows were ridiculously thin, there was no more in the cupboard (I looked and found the towels ha!) woke up in the morning to find baby cockroaches on the wall and single bed my son was sleeping in. Few stains on carpet and walls and bench, which I expect in a property that age. Could do with a refresh, pest bombing too! We woke at about 6am as other guests were very noisy. No street noise though/couldn’t hear tram.

Room was ok size but very out dated , we had the spa room , spa had broken plastic on fliter, wall and roof had heaps of mould had to step in to spa for a shower as we didnt use the actual spa its slef and spa floor was very slippery , was very buget kind of stay , no milk in fridge , fridge wasnt even turned on , no cutlery to make cuppa if u wanted 2 , we didnt as kettle was feral , getleman at counter was very friendly and helpful , wasnt offered wifi , has basic tv channels split system tool along time to even heat room , l probably wouldnt stay here again

The sofa was so dirty it looked like it had been picked up from the streets! If it wasnt too late in the night i would not stay here at all! How can the management think that such dirty sofa would be ok! I couldnt trust the cleanliness of the bed or anything else! Stay away from this place!
