Even though an employee from earlier in the day used my information to check-in a different guest who had a different name than mine, the more attentive employee who checked me in was able to switch out our information and get it fixed. I even was given a complimentary room upgrade. Thank God she was there because she couldn't reach the manager who was on call. She problem solved the issue fairly quickly.

I was disappointed at check in. I wasn't asked if I was a member. I wasn't told the breakfast times. But most importantly I was not advised that the pool was closed. Then at 6 am the next morning I was alerted to an additional charge from my credit card company. I had to go to front desk to dispute, still watching to be sure it's corrected.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was unacceptable.

We arrived late and immediately noticed red flags—stains on the tile floor, and a used soap bar still sitting in the dish from the previous guest. Things only got worse from there. The sheets on the bed appeared to have already been slept in, and the bathroom was nearly unusable: the shower didn’t drain, the toilet ran constantly, the light didn’t work, and several cabinets were literally hanging off the hinges.

To make matters worse, our suite was supposed to include two beds in one of the rooms, but only had one. We asked staff three separate times to have the manager contact us, and never heard a word back.

This was one of the most poorly maintained and poorly managed stays I’ve ever had. I hope the hotel addresses these issues, but based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here.

Do not recommend this particular hotel

Room was very hot when we got there. The front desk said the air is motion activated and it would it cook off. It was 72 degrees and didn’t cook off. Had to fuss to get them to offer to move us to two separate rooms because they didn’t have any 2 bedroom suites left. But the rooms were not together so we suffered in the hot room. The hotel offered us $25 off the room.

Overall my stay was excellent loved the size of the room staff was very nice. My only con was the fact that the bedroom I slept in was super hot and I couldn’t sleep I’m a very hot natured person . I tried calling the front desk but couldn’t get anyone. But other than that my stay was Awesome!!!

There is no hot water on premises, this was not relayed to me when I checked in. Although they did offer to move me to another hotel, they said it was being worked on. When I returned to the hotel later, they said the problem was rectified and we will have hot water shortly. When I woke in the morning again, no hot water.

It’s a Residence Inn, and it’s generally what you would expect. Breakfast bar was very nice. Room comfortable. The only issue we had was that we requested extra pillows for our kids to use on sleeper sofa, and they brought us visibly stained and dirty pillows without pillowcases or encasements. We asked the person delivering them about cases, and he said “this is all we have”. Front desk eventually made it right, after about 10-15 minutes. Just shouldn’t have been delivered to us that way. Common sense.

Never stayed at a residence inn before and we were not impressed. We were booked for a week and had to constantly request basics like toilet paper and towels. The staff was indifferent and the breakfast was lackluster. The tvs were so old that couldn’t stream netflix without upgrading my plan.After waiting 4 days for a full room clean they made the bed with the same sheets and the housekeeper must have set an alarm because the next morning we were woken up at 6am by an alarm clock we never set. I would not recommend this place for more than a night.

Felt like a cheap motel

The pull out couch in the living room was the worst and cheapest excuse for a bed. A cot would’ve been more comfortable. Upon arrival there were crumbs on the floor of the entry to the room. We killed about 5 beetle/stinkbugs. At check in, we were not told that housekeeping wouldn’t come everyday hence we had no clean towels or even enough for our family. The front desk said we would have to come down to reception to get more towels.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the quality of the pull out sofa bed, we could feel the coils as it was thin. The main bed was comfortable and the sheets were good. Pick A Different Hotel

Pick a different hotel if you can. I travel all over for business. I picked this because of the name and reputation the name has. This specific location does everything in my opinion at the minimum requirement - checkbox management (no above and beyond here). My guess is management does not realize they are in the hospitality business, they just think they are in \"business\" and that treatment resonates to all of the guests and employees (except Raven at the front desk...she was amazing, if you own a business in the area -hire her!). There are 5-6 hotels across the street here - check them out.

The hotel was poorly maintained. The wall paper in the room was peeling off, there was Lady Bugs crawling around the bathroom.

Couch had MASSIVE stains on it.

Then, of our own fault, we left an item. Thankfully, the hotel called and left a voicemail letting me know that we had forgotten said item. When I called back to see when I could pick it up, I was picked up and hung up on 3 times and on the 4th try, I got an answer saying stop calling and hung up. I called again same person said, please hold. I was on hold for 45 minutes. I hung up and my wife called 10 minutes later and they picked up immediately and let us know when we could get the item. But the customer service was TERRIBLE!

Grateful for a place to stay

Glad they are planning on remodeling, really needs it. Bathroom is moldly and dishwasher fell out of the wall. Toilet seemed updated but tub drain was slow. Mostly clean room though except for old stains on doors and walls. They had dishes in the unit, a full refrigerator and cooktop. The microwave door was falling off but it worked. Good potential, would stay again if they complete renovations. This used to be a really nice hotel 10 years ago. It is located in quieter part of town and is near many good restaurants. Glad we were able to check in on Christmas day though, really appreciated having a plce to stay while visiting relatives. Thanks to hotel staff who are really nice and came to work on a major holiday!

The fridge was dirty, the microwave was nasty, food all over the inside of it, the sofa had a big stain on it, the blow dryer was broke. I don’t think the room was even cleaned before we entered. I was so disappointed in the room. I notified the front desk but they didn’t seen to care.

The property is far from downtown. The front desk was not friendly-there were no towels in the room, and my husband had to go down to ask for some. The front desk treated this as an everyday occurrence. We also had to go down to the FD to ask for sheets for the sofa bed. Breakfast was very sparse-no milk for the cereal at 8 am, fruit was gone as well most other options. The pool was closed. The room was run-down. I will not stay here again

Don't stay here!! Was filthy, the first room they sent me to had imprints on the pillows! And a dirty, used toilet ! 2nd room that i got sent to had toothpaste spray on the mirror and on faucet. The shower was dirty and moldy , shower curtain looked like cats were climbing up it. I left at 5 am just to get out of there, my flight was at noon. Please don't waste money. Very disappointed in the name and cost.

I was very disappointed, I drove from California to NC expecting 2 days of rest and relaxation at this hotel. I was advised by the manager upon check in that there would be no water the entire day of my second day. I was told to find another hotel for day 2. No compensation or any accommodations given. Although hotel staff were very friendly and the bed was pretty comfortable, the room smelled like mold; the shower had mold in it and would not get warm no matter what; when we returned to the room after being away for 14 hours the bed hadn't been made no towels or any services and there was a door hanger staying that the room is ready upon our return but clearly no one had been in there. When I woke up to make coffee I opened the part to put water in and it was disgusting with a dead bug in it. I'm not a tough critic however I stay at the residence inn for business purposes everywhere I go and this was not up to the standard that I was used

I stayed 4 days and 3 nights, Friday to Monday. The room was much smaller than I thought it would be. The pictures online were very deceiving. I was never able to get a cart to help me with my luggage, and other things. There seemed to be only one cart in the hotel and my room was on the second floor all the way around to the other side of the hotel. Breakfast ran low a half hour early and rushing back from church on Sunday was a waste of time. Replacement towels were short a couple of times. The TV remote was always left on the table, but I had to search for it once when I got back, (barely) finding it on the floor behind the bed. The young lady at the front desk was friendly. There is more, but why go any further.

When we checked in we were told there was no hot water, but we opted to stay anyways since we needed to hurry to a concert, figuring since another staff person was on the phone reporting the problem it would be resolved soon, at least by the time we got back in 6 hours, but the water was lukewarm. Later that morning water temp was slightly warmer. Disappointment. The room we checked into was nice but we realized it wasn't handicap accessible as booked. The front desk quickly changed our room but we had to leave for our concert and changed rooms when we got back. The second room was clean but run down. Friendly staff, comfortable sleep, water never did get hot.

We enjoy this property everytime we visit Greensboro like 3 times a year or four. Guess they were having a difficult weekend checking in numerous people for different events.
