Love the spot. 13 Euro Uber drive to practically anywhere you want to go. Facilities are incredible. Indoor and outdoor pool with Jacuzzi's. Full service gym. And rooms have laundry, stove, microwave, refrigerator and freezers. The only down side is that you can tell the customer service isn't the passion of their staff. Also, their restaurant wasn't great. That said, I generally had no issues with getting what I needed. Overall, I'd definitely stay again.

This is a gem, close to Belém and the sea. This is a resort with amazing pool and garden. The apartment is 100%, withe two rooms, immaculate. Has a good kitchen and the bathroom is spotless and vey spacious and a very reasonable price. My place from now on. Thanks to great staff at reception and restaurants. Wow.

This is a well appointed resort hotel. Service was excellent. We swam in both the indoor and outdoor pools. The river/ocean view was superb. We were west of Lisbon, but short Uber ride in. Also close to Sintra, a smaller town with beautiful historic sites, restaurants and gardens, which we actually preferred to Lisbon, but we still enjoyed a day tour there. We’d stay at the property again, as it exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at MS Aparthotel for 5 days and were very impressed with the spaciousness of the apartments. While some of the furniture shows a bit of wear, the cleanliness more than makes up for it and ensures a very comfortable stay.

We booked a large number of rooms for our wedding guests, and everyone was delighted with the upgrades they received. The extra space made getting ready for the big day a breeze, and it was clear our guests appreciated the thoughtful touches.

The grounds are beautifully maintained, providing a lovely backdrop for our outdoor wedding events. We were fortunate to have perfect weather, which made the experience even more memorable.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the reception team, who went out of their way to meet our needs. A special thank you to Rafaella and her team for organising our pre-wedding celebration and lunch, which was enjoyed by everyone.

Overall, our 5-day stay at MS Aparthotel was a fantastic choice for our celebration

The pool was nice and clean. Not very warm but definitely could swim in it. The rooms were nicely appointed and very clean. Front desk staff were fabulous as they were very helpful. We didn’t want to stay in Lisbon Centre as we wanted easy and free parking and a quiet area which is exactly what MS Aparthotel was. Kitchen was perfect and so was our view of the pool and river. The hotel does need to repair the wood exterior though.

A really enjoyable stay

Had a really pleasant stay, the pools were fantastic, especially the outdoor area.

I would have loved to have a drink at the outdoor/in pool bar, but being very late summer it was mainly closed.

The free car parking and electric charging was a bonus! Although the tight corners in the underground car park was a challenge, especially when in a rental.

Over all good stay. Dated, some elements of the room in disrepair (broken cupboard doors, etc), but it seems they’re renovating. Food was decent but overpriced for what you got. The free indoor parking was a nice touch, and the kitchenette in the room was perfect with a baby.

Our hotel room was very clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful!! Our room has me a wraparound balcony so the view of the ocean could be seen by every room. It was so nice to wake up each morning and take in that amazing view.

Property is equiped with everything you need for your stay. Taxi services are overall affordable, especially if travel with larger groups. If using Bolt, when inputting the hotel name, it returns location of the parking at the side, so need to manually adjust the pin.

The hotel could use a renovation, but not in the sense that it is falling apart, only that it is a little dated. Other than that, it was a really pleasant stay. It had big rooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, and a pretty good restaurant.

Lovely location staff was very helpful, but the rooms are dated and need remodeling. Our AC went out every day and night in all three rooms. We had a two bedroom unit.

We couldn’t get the washer dryer to work we could not open the safe and some of the lights were out.

Our kitchenette Had no paper towels or dish towel or pot holders.

No directions on how to operate the coffee maker, which was an unusual one or the washer dryer

Staff tried to help us and were very pleasant.

The best moments for us were benefitting from the patience, kindness and understanding of Beatriz in reception. We enjoyed a good meal at the restaurant on our first night. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was more than adequate, if a little uninspiring. We thought the best part of breakfast was making fresh orange juice.
The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. The kitchenette contained everything needed. The large balcony was a real bonus. I enjoyed the outdoor pool and the well-kept gardens. I loved the fact that many herbs were grown.

The room was immaculate, with a stunning view. The Hotel facilities (spa, gym, two swimming pools, Hot Tub) were top-notch.

Very close proximity to shops and restaurants. Alma Lusa restaurant is an absolutely fantastic restaurant!

The hotel is fine. Just the location is not great. It is a long bus ride (plus having to change buses) to get into Lisbon. Trying to figure out where to catch the train to Sintra was difficult so I ended up driving. Better off staying in Lisbon and paying extra for parking your rental car.

This is my second time stay in this hotel. I enjoy the sea view from the balcony. I will never feel bored about that. The front desk staffs and manager are very helpful and professional. I remember two ladies who work at front desk names Helena Alves and Beatriz Ferreiva, they are such sweet and friendly . they helped me a lot during my stay. I want to say \" thanks\" them. By the way, they speak frequently English.

I stayed here twice in one month. My first room was one bedroom on the 5th floor, spacious and nice. Though there was a spave there was no proper couch to sit or lie down comfortably. Its one of those mini seaters where 2 people can barely sit together.

The other time I stayed in a studio on the 1st, which was almost the same space, but half the price. So unless you want separate bedroom you dont need to pay extra.

The studio though was lacking a lot of kitchen utentils, no bowls no cutting knives etc..

Also the fact that to buy a coffee pod for the machine you have to go down to reception is ridicoulous. Because you have to pay for them. They dont want to bring it to your room. I asked them to bring it here and charge it to my room - they said no. You can order food to your room but not coffee!!!

The reception people generally dont understand the importance of saying ‘I am sorry’ or ‘I apologise’. I am not sure if its a cultural gap. I would have wanted to hear things like:

‘ I am sorry that your room isnt ready, but will be in a hour, may I offer you a cup of coffee in the meantime?’ Rather then ‘room isnt ready and I dont know when its gonne be ready, come back later’

‘ I apologise that we have no internet at the mom, but we are working on it’ rather than ‘sorry no internet, and we dont know anything’

Also the reception didnt know service animal are exempt of fees! I had to explain it.

After a month of traveling Europe we wanted to end our trip at a place that we could just relax but still do some city touring. MS Aparthotel worked out very well for us. The view was amazing. We enjoyed just passing the time on the balcony. The pool area is very nice and great to hangout at. The staff were all very helpful. We also took advantage of the buffet for two nights. As a place that's a little more secluded it is great. If you really wanted to spend the bulk of your day in town you might find it a little less convinient. That said, we were able to grab Ubers all the way to get to the other side of town for 10-15€. So not too bad really. In the end, it was the perfect place for us to chill out for a few days before returning home.

I had a great time at MS Apart hotel. I had a relaxing break so I did not do too many too much sightseeing. If this was my plan then this hotel would not be the greatest as it’s quite far from the train station and buses into the city centre take about an hour plus.
However the hotel was lovely and clean and the staff are great, especially the housekeeping staff, who left my room in a wonderful state every time I left it to go to for breakfast. My room was clean and the kitchen area was well stocked. The hotel provided things like washing up liquid to wash your dishes, so thank you!
Breakfast was good But would have liked more choice for breakfast especially in relation to hot food such as non-pork items.
Pool area was lovely and clean and staff were always friendly. The half term holiday era had not arrived so the hotel was relaxed. I got out before it started:-) I would 100% recommend!

Overall a good stay. Spotlessly clean, a little noisy at times! Not sure what the humming sound was, maybe the lifts. Had an issue with the air con. this was resolved immediately. My only issue was that I requested a twin room & got a double. I queried this and was offered a put up bed! I was not overjoyed with this but it was made quite clear to this was my only option. Hence the low comfort rating. Staff in restaurant and bar really good & helpful. So outside the bed issue a good stay. Oh & could do with coffee making facility.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly, helpful and professional. The public areas were well presented and inviting. Breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for at breakfast, hot and cold dishes. Impressed that the hot food was actually hot and freshly cooked which is rarely the case.
The bedroom, being an apartment hotel, had a full kitchen area containing a full size fridge and freezer and a washing machine. The room did have a few minor things requiring repair but I understand that the rooms are being refurbished. Outside pool looked good. Inside pool was a very good size and again exceedingly clean. Did not use the bar area but again looked quite good. With a bus connection to centre Lisbon will return to this hotel.

We chose this hotel for a week's stay primarily because it was near a hospital where I was to have surgery. It has a nice pool area and a very good gym which sports teams use to train. Rooms were spacious with small kitchen areas and big terraces. Clean. One small sofa and 2 dining chairs in the living room so both of us couldn't sit in comfort. TV didn't work when we arrived but they sent someone up. Quite a few small things didn't work such as light bulbs. One day husband got back and found no towels. Called Reception who said they'd send some straight up but didn't. Requested a slip mat for tub but told none available, so they obviously don't mind if people slip and fall in the shower.
Service in bar\lounge area unbelievably slow. Seemed like a general lack of interest all round. Ratings here that say 'superb' have got to be kidding. Would we stay there again? No.

Hotel was excellect, staff frienldy and helpful, everything was clean and tiday.

Only downside was a lot of facilities were out of use because of the pandemic but this is no fault of the hotel, just safty guidelines they must adhere too.

Travelling by car was no issue going to and from the hotel but could be a little difficult arriving by public transport as the location is quite remote but don't know for sure.

Overall, a stunning hotel, comfortable stay and enjoyable while staying. Great for my business trip but would happily take the family here on vacation.

Overall very nice hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Good bar and restaurant, big choice for breakfast. One of the best outdoor pools I've ever splashed. Very spacious apartment with nice view from balcony. Bathrobes and swimming pool towels very complimentary. Apartment it self needs some redecorating (flaking paint behind curtains) and maybe renewed furniture in sitting area, but beds very, very comfortable. Indoor pool and sauna apart of each other, little bit strange. Overall very good and pleasant experience, would come back for another stay.

This place was almost perfect. Our apartment had TWO bathrooms, an insanely long wraparound balcony, kitchen, laundry/dryer, etc. The parking garage was indoor and has charging stations. The pool was very nice. Breakfast was awesome. It’s one of my favorite hotels. Even though there weren’t too many restaurants at a walking distance, I would stay here again. You can drive to a lot of places and it felt like a home away from home. Lisboa is not too far away and neither is Cascais. We will be staying there again the next time we are in Portugal.

Very handy for NOS Alive music festival just down the hill at Algés. But too far to walk to Lisbon and typically €15 in a taxi to town. Great morning Shuttle to town with return in the early evening, but seldom wanted to be in town during the heat of the day. Facilities and pool, with swim up bar were excellent and staff exceptionally friendly. We weren't allowed to take some breakfast up to our children still in bed and had to pay room service. Do wish we could get teenagers up before 10:30! But highly recommended for a great holiday in Lisbon. Food in hotel was good and prices reasonable.

Affordable hotel close to Lisbon

The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the mouth of the Tejo river close to the Atlantic ocean. It is also not too far from the Belem region of Lisbon, but not at a convinient walking distance. The apartment that I got was comfortable and large for one person. The service was very good and I had a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Exercising in the hotel's gym was quiet convenient. The hotel is a nice place for a stay close to the city of Lisbon at an affordable price. Having a car is recommended.

As the other post said it's a nice spacious room with a washer/dryer. The hotel provides the free shuttle to and from Lisbon. One evening we took Uber back that cost about 10 euros.

Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and friendly

The hotel was in a nice quiet location and the staff were so helpful and friendly, they always went out of their way to help. Taxis are the best mode of transport to get into Lisbon, about 7 euros, the hotel offers an excellent free service to Lisbon which we made use of, the driver was so informative advised us on the best sights and gave us guidance on how to plan our day out. Breakfast was excellent so much choice and of a high standard. Outside area maintained well and the pool and facilities were great. The only downside was the noise at night, even though it says the rooms are soundproof the noise carries from reception when people check in, the lift noise and also from other rooms above, it could just be we were unlucky and a room in a different part of the hotel would have been quieter. But overall we had a fab time and would recommend the hotel and staff and would definitely return.

Peaceful and pleasing.

This hotel is used a lot by business people, which leaves all the facilities free for the other guests. Perfect if you are there for a holiday. No crowds, lots of free loungers by the lovely pool. Everything is very clean and the staff are polite, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is not the largest selection, but still very acceptable and you won't go hungry. Lunch and evening menu's are perhaps a little limited, but you are probably not going to be eating there all day every day. The food was cooked well and tasted freshly prepared with care.It is child friendly. The location is a car or taxi ride (15 euros each way) from the center of Lisbon (only 20 mins from the airport), but if you figure that into your budget and you want a calm, relaxing and stress free hotel it is worth it.

Perfect location for city with great facilities.

We had a great time staying at Solplay. We are a family of four with two teenagers staying in a two bedroom self-catering apartment.
The facilities were ideal, gym, sauna, etc, in particular the pool area was excellent. The pools are perfect for children of all ages and adults alike, with many loungers, several unique beach chairs and lots of shade if required provided by trees and parasols. It is the perfect area to relax after a busy days sight-seeing in Lisbon. The city is accessible by taxi, public transportation or their free shuttle bus, and it’soy a stones through from Belém and all it’s attractions. But the best aspect of Solplay is its staff, nothing is too much trouble the barmen and women at the pool bar really make your stay fun. Both warm and engaging with young and young at heart. Well recommended, if we’re in Lisbon again we will certainly return.
