No tienen restaurante propio, por lo que no hay room service, tampoco tienen plancha ni tabla para planchar en las habitaciones, hay servicio de lavanderia, pero es externo

Great staff and excellent location. Outstanding breakfast. However, the room and bathroom fell very short. There wasn't a single electrical outlet!! The shower did not work, and the bathtub was so high that I almost tripped when stepping out, even though I am six feet tall. A shorter person would be very challenged. Despite all the positives, these few but consequential negatives soured my stay and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects the basics like an electrical outlet and a safe and working shower. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, they acknowledged that my particular room had issues - so they knew this room was problematic. When I asked why I was given this room instead of one which did not have these issues, they gave me an amusingly ridiculous answer: \"because some guests do not notice these issues\"! They admitted that there were other rooms available.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s right across the historic St Jerome monastery and walking distance to pastais de Belem and national discoveries and Belem tower. That’s the only reason why we opted to book this hotel. However, book somewhere else. Wifi here is extremely poor! The worse I’ve ever seen. Reception welcome is cold. Water is only free for one night. We booked two days in a row, the only redeeming feature of this place is the friendly Portuguese breakfast lady. The breakfast is also good and filling. It’s not old people friendly. I’m talking about the bathroom. Someone could easily slip getting out of the tub and hurt themselves. I’m being honest here not trying to be rude.

Hotel location was excellent, room was decent but the carpet in the hallway was deplorable.
The other issue was that I made reservations and payment well in advance on your website and had a balance of CA $23.22 to be paid locally at the hotel. The hotel unfortunately charged me CA $47.56 instead.

Great location in Belem, easy to get to attractions early before the crowds. Excellent breakfast buffet, nice staff, comfortable bed, good shower. The downsides were no hot water pot in the room, and sound proofing between rooms. A little pricey, but I'd stay again.

The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting Lisbon without being in the crazyness of the historic center. It is walkable distance to all sightseeing in Belem, and short walk to main bus and tram stops to go the Praça de Comerçio and historic center. The hotel is dated, which is understandable and fine. The included breakfast is great, varied and complete, and Pasteles de Belem are a PLUS! The one thing we were not happy with was the cleanliness and overall room facility. The carpet was so stained and with bad odor that it made it feel like the whole room was dirty. The shower faucet was leaking all the time. The lamps were not functional. It looks like maintenance has not been a priority for this property for a looong time.

The property is perfectly located for visiting Belem and the surrounding areas. On-street parking is available in the neighborhood behind the hotel. The property needs significant finishes upgrade. All surfaces are clean. Breakfast buffet is beautiful and a great start to the day.

The hotel could be so much nicer if the carpets were replaced. The room had stained carpets and walls. When they cleaned the rooms they didn’t vacuum. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly, but for the cost skip this one until the floors are renovated.

This hotel is in a great location - walking distance to many sites. The breakfast is fabulous and includes warm pastels de nata from the famous Pasteis de Belem which is a block away. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The check in and out was quick and easy. The room was clean and well stocked. It would be great if they would update the stained carpeting.

It is close to the museum district as the monastery is right across the road.

I cut my finger trying to get out of the shower the first day as the part of the glass barrier which should move so you can get in and out of the tube was stuck. It became unstuck when I was getting out of the shower.

I got put into a new room with an handicapped shower, which presented a new set of UI challenges such as how to get the shower to spray water rather than have the movable shower head do it and the sliding door hide the light switches but it was OK.

They arranged a taxi to the rail station for my last morning and it showed up, so that was good.

The breakfast was good, with stuff for people who like eggs and meat, stuff for those who like cheese and cold cuts, and there was a bit of cake on the side for those who like that.

The handicapped room had a door to a patio with artificial grass, presumably for service animal chillin' and poopin'.

Good location for Belem and Jeronimos.
Encountered 3 receptionists on overnight stay and have to say only 1 of them was particularly friendly. For the price, the hotel was reasonable not bad but not excellent. Rooms are clean but a bit dated, no noise at night. Good, powerful shower. No kettle in the room for tea/coffee. Room door needed closed firmly to ensure shut. A/C not the best but windows can be opened out. I'd rate it a 6/10 rather than an 8-9/10.

No water, kettle and iron box in rooms in this 4 star hotel. No restaurant within the hotel. It is not a 4 star by any means. Only good thing is, it is close to tram stop, so easy to commute to city centre. I wouldn't stay here in future and wouldn't recommend.

I liked the breakfast choices, the pleasant and helpful staff, the closeness to the shops and restaurants, quite environment, availability of a bath tub and it's good size.

I would have a appreciated having some face towels available and facial tissues. Also hair conditioner would be a nice addition to the amenities. There was also no electrical plug in the bathroom area where I can plug the hair dryer. I had to use the electrical outlet by the entry way. It would also be a big plus if there's an adopter available to purchase from the hotel.

Overall Jeronimos 8 was a good choice for my stay in Lisboa. I would not hesitate to book a room there again in the future.

Very disappointed.

Our booked \"junior suite\" was filthy and reeked of cigarettes despite being a non-smoking room. We were moved to a different room which happily was the one and only accessible room in the property. The bathroom was a train-wreck with a floor that sloped away from the shower causing a flood every time we showered. the sink was falling off the wall and the faucet was broken and flopping around. Air conditioning in the second room was barely functional which was surprising after the blast freezer that was the smoky room.The mattresses were like sleeping on bricks and both of us slept poorly the entire week.The door to the open \"patio\" area did not lock and the safe was non-functional making leaving a risky affair and we often carried all of our valuables around all day. The door was eventually repaired but the safe was dead. Finding a message on my phone that three attempts had been made to access it after returning to the room on the one day I left it there was infuriating given the phone was in my suitcase and placed in the closet. The WIFI only worked in the dining area as well. The only saving grace was the breakfast and some of the staff. Avoid this property.

The hotel is well situated in Belem, across from the monastery. It is very clean, staff were considerate and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

The hotel advertises a terrace and bar, but they are both closed. As a solo traveler, these amenities were important to me. The lobby was the only place the internet signal worked. I actually had to take a proctored on-line Covid test required for travel, in an open, common area.

In the room, my air conditioner worked well, but others were complaining of faulty ac. I had a desk, but no desk chair. There was a small closet in the room, but no dresser drawers. Bed and bedding were comfortable and the bathroom met expectations, with the exception of the hair dryer.

I would not come back but it's a fair choice if the price is right and you don't share my areas of concern.

We were very disappointed with our stay at Jeronimos 8. This is far from being a four star hotel (maybe three). The carpeting throughout the hotel was dirty and old, the first room I had checked into was freezing upon arrival because the window did not close (I was given another room). I had made a separate reservation for two more guests who required queen beds and when they arrived, they received single beds. We arrived early from an overnight flight and we’re asked to pay €40 euros to check in early (even if the rooms were available). The hotel is far from being handicapped or ADA accessible ( or for families with strollers) with lots of stairs that lead to the rooms and a steep walk way from the check in desk to the elevator. The bathrooms might’ve been the only good part, but the entire glass wall had seen a lot of breakage and was hastily covered with tape.

The location is perfect but if the hotel wishes to consider itself four stars, it will need to completely revamp how its managed and clean up!

Right next to a Catholic church so we can go to mass. Which is next to Pasteis de Belem (people come from all over the workd to taste these delights) hand the famous Mosteiro did Jeronimos. The hotel is also centrally located in Lisbon as a hub to explore

Staff are friendly and the room was clean and big.
The Location was great since Jeronimos Monastery is just in front of the Hotel. Therefore Monument to the Discoveries and Belem Tower are located 10 - 15 minutes by foot.
One negative point was the rubber of window in my room was bit faded , so sound of wind and the cry of animals were heard well. Hotel is located quiet area, so it was basically no problem.

Breakfast buffet had enough variety, but the best part was the warm crispy pasteis de nata from the famous shop around the corner (the one with the lines!). Why wait in line - unless you need more. (That's a strong possibility.)

Located just across the street from the church adjoining the Monastery. Minutes away from the restaurants and public transportations. Yet, quiet during night time. Room is larger than the other places we stayed. Double sinks and large bath tub were nice. Breakfast was excellent (they also serve Pasteis de Belems). Staffs were the friendliest. They gave us a room at 10am when we arrived.

Ironically, this hotel was the priciest of our trip and the most disappointing. The room was very small and dark, and the carpets looked dirty. The breakfast made up for it to some degree as it was very good. It is probably its location and lack of other hotels nearby that allow them to charge so much.

In the middle of Belem, the historic district.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and pleasant.
The hotel itself has been renovated a few years ago so there are signs of wear in the high traffic areas, otherwise all was good.
The morning breakfast was excellent.
From our location we could walk to all the important tourist sites in Belem.

Great location in beautiful Belem, part of a historic monastery building and friendly staff. However, the carpets are so dirty/soiled they challenge the 4-star classification of the hotel and they seriously affect the overall vibe, ambience and first impressions. For a 4-star hotel in such a key location, this should really be addressed. I booked this based on the rating, as a surprise week for me and my girlfriend, but it is far too expensive for such inconsistencies: the room service became unavailable for 3 nights without notice, the info booklet inside the room was missing the English menu translation, the breakfast room service leaflets were delivered only on some dates (and reception staff refused to deliver them upon request), one of the cleaning staff was excellent, her temporary replacement on a different day did a terrible job; one of the light bulbs were missing, leaning staff started replacing only single towels on some occasions (for two customers); no kettle until requested.

I give this place A+ for all the right reasons. The location across the street from the Monastery; and easy walk to other tourist sites;ease of transportation access; quietness, and accommodating staff make this a superior location for Lisbon tourists to use, rather than the more and less \"homelike\" , and ,more expensive downtown hotels. A short streetcar/bus ride downtown more than makes up for the different location. Try here first, if you can. Seniors will much prefer this location.
