I visited Lisbon for the Half Marathon race, so there is no better place to stay this close to start area. Breakfast did not have a lot of variety but it was value of price for sure, delicious coffee and breads. Indoor free parking was definitely an advantage who rented a car. (Uber is so cheap in Lisbon so I regret renting a car.) There is a water fountain at the lobby so I did not worry about this issue. I did my running training just in front of the hotel where the road merges with a big park. (Parque da Paz)

Great hotel with underground parking by Lisbon

The hotel is in a great location, just off the highway, with convenient underground parking and easy access to Lisbon. It's right next to the large Christ statue, which is only a short walk away, and overlooks a lovely park.

I stayed here the night before taking a cruise, as I wanted to be close to Lisbon without dealing with the hassle of parking in the city. This location was perfect. I parked here, explored the adorable town below, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

The hotel was very welcoming—the staff was friendly, the room was spacious, and the price was excellent, especially compared to Lisbon itself. The nearby town at the bottom of the hill was charming. I visited a fascinating historical ship and a submarine, which made for a fun extra day trip. The next day, I was able to easily drive to the cruise terminal and park right next to it, which was incredibly convenient.

The on-site restaurant was adorable. Breakfast was nice—not spectacular, but it featured fresh, organic options. There’s also a small store underneath the hotel where you can grab snacks or anything you might need for your room.

Overall, this was the perfect spot to stay near Lisbon. Whether you want to visit the Christ statue, take in the stunning views of Lisbon and the bridge, or just enjoy the charm of the surrounding area, it’s a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Due to being close to where I need, it was vety efficient for me. Clean, good breakfast.
It is my 5th visit and will have more in the future. They are investing in the preprty which is good.

Not picky with mini-bar so you don't need to worry about water. Supermarket just across.

If you use public transportation, Almada faiks to maintain it. Even though busy, it is dirty, not evolving and mechanically falling behind. There is free parking in the hotel though.

What a disappointing stay. I have never stayed at a hotel where you cannot get wine or beer in either a bsr or restaurant - and they were proud of the fact.
Neither the hotel nor Hotels.com warned us of the fact which is remiss

Good - free underground parking & cleanliness.

Bad - Rooms are not soundproof I could hear every noise from the people above me. I barely got any sleep on my second night it sounded as if there was about 10 people in the room above shouting and talking very loud for most of the night, they even had the window open which made it worse. Everything dropped on the floor could be heard like loud thuds, at one point they decided to rearrange the furniture which you could hear being dragged around. If you are a light sleeper wouldn’t recommend especially for the price.

Great Restaurant!

Bashq restaurant is most impressive. It has been my long experience that it is wise to pass on the hotel restaurant. However, this is not the case of Bashq. I had two dinners there and both were outstanding. Imaginative, tasty, and well-presented. If you stay here, give Bashq a try, it will not disappoint.

Lovely and helpful staff. Great breakfast. The only downsides were that the room was a bit dusty. Also, before going to the bedroom in the evening, we wanted to have a drink in the bar. However, the bar had only non-alcoholic drinks. I am sure there are several people who prefer to have a nice drink in the evening. Overall, this is our seconds stay in Mercure Hotel and we would return when being in Almada.

So good I will book again, first time ever!

Absolutely amazing! I was a little hesitant about booking a hotel not IN Lisbon proper but just across the bridge and it was totally worth it. When we checked in they had seen that we were traveling with a toddler and took the liberty to put a crib in the room for us, they put us up on the 6th floor which had 24 hr snacks and drinks put out on a table near the elevator. The room was amazing the shower was perfect! I will be returning every time I come back to Lisbon area!

very poor instruction for parking lot

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I didn't know where the parking lot .So I had to stop the car for a while and ask the female staff at the front. Later I noticed that the parking lot uses the name of the parking lot, abc business center, which is a bit far from the hotel. The first person to come to this hotel can't know this, and the front staff can't find it unless they come out and teach it directly. There was no directions and the guidance of the staff was very unfaithful. It was a very bad start from the first impression.

It's a little isolated from restaurants for walking, but a 5 minute, 6-euro cab ride took us to the waterfront and a whole street of choices. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The drive to the airport from here was effortless and quick (at 10:30 AM). Rooms were comfortable and we could open the window for fresh air. Would definitely stay again.

It’s a lovely Hotel with very friendly and acccomodating staff. My room was great, very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Not the best location but that’s reflected in the price as it was great value for a 4-star. One quibble was that it’s apparently an alcohol-free Hotel although maybe that was because it was a Sunday when’s i stayed there. I searched the Hotel info. and could find no reference to this.

Chose this hotel as a convenient way to get into the centre of Lisbon without needing to try and find a parking space in the centre of Lisbon. There's free parking at the hotel, a tram stop at the end of the street, and from there it's a few stops and then a short ferry ride right into the centre of Lisbon.

It's also walkable to the Cristo Rei statue (we chose to incorporate a visit into an early morning run before the weather got too hot).

The staff in the hotel were super helpful and friendly, and the room itself was clean. The shower was hot and powerful and the bed was comfy. I would 100% stay here again.

This hotel was fine for us. Great location south of the Tagus and ideally placed for our onward journey. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. Room comfortable but surprised we had to pay for a bottle of water. Breakfast very good.
We arrived at the hotel late at night after a fraught drive through Lisbon. We were desperate for a glass of wine but found that the hotel was dry, having only a juice bar. Not the end of the world but it would have been good to know that before we booked.

We just needed a place near the airport for an early flight. Not much around here but the room was comfortable and clean. It's a dry hotel, meaning they serve no alcohol which we found odd but we really just needed a bed so no big deal.

Excellent: the night manager, the free car park, the receptionist chap who really spent ages
filling us in with places to go in both Lisbon and Porto. Beautifully clean basic rooms.
Good location
Poor: the breakfast boys who fooled around too much, did not look after the buffet and seemed content to fill plates to hide for themselves.
Overall then a very good hotel indeed
