Great place to stay

The apartment was good, but the bathroom was a little tight especially the shower. It was really challenging to take a shower comfortably in it. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked and very useful. The location is very convenient and close to attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended

Hosts Sabrina and Manuel were unbelievably generous , helpful, always available if you needed anything and sharing great info regarding local restaurants, shops and transportation... I'll definitely be staying with them on my next Lisbon rendezvous. Big Kudos to both of them

The owners are very easy to reach and quick to respond. The flat is small and tidy with a nice sized kitchen and refridgerator. It’s close to the Santos station to take the train to Cascais! And close to the nice Time Out Market too.

We were in a true Portuguese hood. It was a 4th floor walk up to a huge apt for us (2 people) we did laundry made coffee - soap and coffee supplied , walked down street to a market to get eggs and milk - but my favorite thing was we could walk to amazing amazing home cooked not fancy restos. Tables and chairs in the streets outside these little places that were so reasonable and the food was excellent - I love fish and I love trying other foods. A couple buildings around ours were in need of repairs but upon entering our building it was beautiful and clean -spotless. One street over from our street there were little restaurants for us to choose and if you want fancier you walk further - lots of hills so west comfy shoes - lovely communication - as well would have loved to stay longer

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is cozy and had everything we needed. It's a 4th floor walkup, which took some getting used to, but it's doable. The owner was very responsive and helpful regarding transportation and things to see/do in Lisbon. The AC was very welcome. The neighborhood has plenty of dining options and is safe and very walkable.

Really excellent. Area is ideal for exploring - great restaurants just around the corner packed with locals - always a good sign. Loads of cool bars near by and walking distance to most places. Nothing a problem and quick and helpful comma with management. Good clean apartment. Not noisy. Would thoroughly recommend for couple and families alike.

Our check in was hours delayed due to gap in Expedia transmission of communication messages. The instructions were came 24 hours late.
Eventually, we met Our host Manuel. He was very warm and considerate. The apartment was very clean and functional. It was a very delightful stay.
I would caution seniors who bring large suitcases. There is no elevator to get to upper floors. We had just carryon suitcases and managed to live on the 3 floor without issues.
Our host recommendations regarding favorite attractions and favorite restaurants were so helpful, it made our visit extraordinary.
We want visit here again.

Great location, lovely decorated one bedroom + daybed in living room. Nice host who communicated well and left a lovely welcome gift. Much appreciated after a travel day. Washing machine was a bonus.

No elevator so 4 flights of stairs, just a heads up for those who may find this difficult.

I highly recommend SantoSweetHome 2B, Rua dos Mastros!
The Apt Coordinator has phenomenal communication, very informative.
The apartment is fully equiped with washing machine, Nespresso and comfortable bed, modern, convenient location and clean with great shower pressure!
Close to World Congress Centre Lisbon was a 15 minute bus ride, bus stop is 5 min walk.
NOTE: The only thing I needed help with was unlocking the apartment entrance door, turn the key all the way (2x turn) to the right and then a bit more to the right. the door will unlatch.

The attentiveness of the owners Sabrina and Jorge was very good. Sabrina was so positive and arranged a pick up for us (from the airport) that went very smoothly! They had wine and snacks waiting for us, nice touch and let us check in a little early. Offered arrangements for our luggage, laundry, eating suggestions which was awesome. The unit itself is older and smells quite musty as the street is shaded...but we stayed in winter and i hear it's not a problem in summer months.
Location of apartment is in the flatter part of Lisbon and is perfect and so close to timeout market and excellent restaurants and night life. Big enuff for a couple. Bed was SUPER comfy and we slept very well.
Kitchen was even stocked with coffee pods and milk. Tv was smart and worked well.
Loved the decor. Stairs were a bit steep hauling up our luggage, but we felt the locks to get in to the unit were very secure and we felt safe.
Would definitely stay there again for a short stay in Lisbon and recommend to friends!

Cute place in a good area

The location was nice. It was only up one floor so was very easy to get to with limited luggage, and would have been fine if you have a lot of luggage. They provided discounted parking which was great, but the street in front of the door was way too small and busy to stop and unload, even quickly. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were lovely in leaving us food and wine upon arrival. The sound on the TV wasn't working and they fixed it promptly after we mentioned it. Their communication was incredible. The only thing about the property itself that could have used some work was that the toilet was a little wobbly and leaked a little because of that. We cleaned up whenever it happened.

Fantastic Stay

We had a great stay at Sabrina's property she was so kind and helpful throughout the process. The apartment is in a perfect spot to explore Lisbon. Easy walking and access to many key sites. The neighbourhood is filled with restaurants, stores and bars, making it very convenient. The bed was one of the best of our trip. I must say again how great Sabrina was, very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this as a good spot to stay while in Lisbon

This was such a clean property. The communication was not great before we got there, but once we were there the communication using What's App was really good. The AC worked really well. They offered fresh towels part way through our 10 day trip.
The only bad thing was that it was on the 4th floor with no elevator. My husband had a rough time going up and down the stairs, I didn't see that anywhere in the description.

Live like a local in lovely apartment

Sweet fourth floor walk up apartment. It had everything that we needed, including a washer for our laundry. The location was fantastic within walking distance of many sights and minutes from major transportation. Manuel was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us plenty of information about things to do and places to eat. We were greeted with a loaf of fresh bread, wine, and cheese. This apartment is great for anyone looking for the immersive experience of living like a local. Lovely stay and would definitely stay here again!

Nice, comfy and close to the city centre

These apartments were really nice surprise from the beggining. First, right after making a reservation, they sent us an email with all the information we needed with some useful tips how to get to the apartments. Second, we arrived at 23:00 (we paid 20 Euros for late check-in but the hoteliers informed us about this before in thefirst message we got) and Manuel was waiting for us with almost exhausting information about Lisbon and its beaties, as well as many tips for restaurants and coffee bars. He also sent us this review the second day via what's app. He was really nice and helped us with the luggage to the stairs.
The apartment itself was really clean, comfortable and beatifuly decorated. The hoteliers even left us in the fridge welcome present - bottle of wine, some local cheese, bread and some other basic stuff. They will provide zou with everything you need, you don't have to bring anything. There is even a small coffee machine.
The location is also perfect, only 10 minutes walking to the city center but in quite calm, rather pictoresque street.
We were really content and we would reccommend these apartments easily.

Excellent Boutique Apartment

Our apartment was on the 4th floor of the building and so, due to there being no lift, our suitcases had to be carried up several flights of stairs. However, as promised in the introductory email from the owner, Manuel was on hand to assist with the luggage. (This proved to be a godsend as our taxi driver had to drop us off in a nearby street due to roadworks.)

The boutique apartment was air-conditioned, in excellent condition and very clean. It had limited storage space but this didn’t prove to be a significant issue as we were only staying for a few days.

We were greeted with a bottle of wine, bread, and cheese (nice touch); plus, there was fresh fruit as well as beer, water and some other provisions in the fridge. There was a Minipreço supermarket and other small shops close by for replenishing stocks.

There are a number of good restaurants in the neighbourhood plus there is an outstanding food court located in the Mercado da Ribeira, which is about 10 minutes’ walk from the apartment. The main centre of Lisbon is in easy walking distance as are railway stations to such interesting places as Cascais and Sintra. (If you have the time, the latter is certainly worth a visit.)

If required there is a taxi rank close to the apartment. (With tip, it cost us 15 Euros for a taxi to the airport – about the same as Uber.)

Great Location

We stayed at SantoSweetHome last week during our trip to Lisbon. The building is a walk up, so we were lucky to have Manuel help us with our luggage up 5 flights of stairs! Manuel was great, he provided a map, and an extensive list of recommendations. We had a late flight, and he helped store our luggage as well. He was easily the best part of staying with SantoSweetHome.

The apartment is decorated very nice and is comfortable for 2 people for a few days. There is air conditioning and it works well! The location was perfect for us, as it was out of the main city center. We found it to be perfect to visit TimeOut Market, Barrio Alto, Baixa, LX Factory, Belem, etc. The kitchen is very nice, although we only used it to chill water, and wash our bathing suits in the washing machine.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this property for the simple fact that the walls & ceilings are very thin. We like to sleep in on vacation, but found that impossible as we could hear EVERYTHING from the apartment above us. The bathroom also has a VERY small sink which is uncomfortable to use. Additionally, there is a late check in charge of 20 euros (which is not listed when making the reservation, but sent in confirmation email).

I like the apartments.

Very nice apartments, clean and comfy room, owner got us some beers, bottle of wine, eggs bread, cheese, you can have some light cooking in house, easy walking distance to old town. Lots of restaurants around and some small markets, you can buy some fruits and water.

Thanks Manuel help us to handle some of our luggages. If I come back to Lisbon for sure will stay again.

Adoramos a acomodação. Localização excelente, num bairro bem agradável que nos remeteu ao aconchego de Lisboa. A rua é recheada de bares e restaurantes excelentes.
Apartamento bem equipado , limpo e com todo suporte para nos sentirmos em casa.

This appartment is very clean and very well situated, we were a family of 4, with kids 9 and 7, and although the appartment is small it suited us quite well. There is tons to see and experience in this beautiful city minutes away by foot. A lot of restaurants. Although we did not meet the hosts, check-in and check-out were a breeze. The hosts were very helpful and informative, communications were great. We absolutely recommend the appartment.
