The staff was very helpful at check-in and Rodrigo was super helpful with restaurant suggestions and helping us reserve a table at Ramiro. Property is also a few steps away from Time Out market.

They seem to decide on how people should sleep based on the number of people there. We were 5 people that needed 4 beds but got 2 double beds and a single bed.

***Construction that lasted the whole day under our building, starting exactly at 8am til 5pm intermittently. And it was drilling construction kind that’s was extremely loud and vibrating the whole room. We could not go back to the room to rest at all during the day. We went to the front desk and they said it’s beyond their control which I understand but it was a rough day

Elevators not working. 2 of the 3 elevators were not working on our last day and the final 3rd went out the morning that we left. This seems to be a common theme from another review I read about this apartment. I reached out to the help desk after my stay and they apologized but said there were 4 other elevators that circles the building apparently. I still have no idea where they were. Regardless, majority of the time we were using the 3 elevators that our room was in.

The front staff seem to be nice when we interacted but they’re only there for a limited time during the day.
Don’t bother asking the housekeeping of the building anything like extra toilet paper or blanket since they will tell you to go down stairs to ask the staff, which we ended up doing.

Overall the first fees days were good, the last day was just unpleasant due to those circumstances beyond their control but it still affected our experience.

Stay here if you like to party and don’t care if you get a good nights rest or not. That was on the weekends.

Getting extra towels in your room requires an act of congress. You can’t just ask housekeeping.

The building has water damage, ants in the room, and the front glass door was shattered. Not a great first impression.

Very close to the train station and eating places though.

Overall, stay was okay but there were a couple of issues. Their staff is only on site during the day, and the office closes at 6:30pm. We had told the staff 3 days ahead of time that we would arrive at around 8:00pm. They said it was no problem and they would send an email regarding our check in. No email was sent. Staff was easy to get a hold of if you have a device that can call in Spain. Otherwise, if you message them, they will not respond. If there is an issue after 6:30pm, good luck.

The room itself was very clean and comfortable, but the area was always busy and loud at nighttime.

Great place to stay

The apartments were in an imposing main building on the edge of the old town. The metro from the airport terminates 3 minutes away from the building making an inexpensive and quick journey from the plane. The family room we had was spacious and well laid out. It was clean and tidy for our 4 night stay. The concierge did check with us to see if we wanted any assistance during our time there. A bonus was that the Time Out food market was across the road from us for choosing a meal in the evening. Five Stars was ideally situated for wandering around the old town or to get public transport to go further afield. We would not hesitate to book a return stay there in the future.

The apartment itself was great - spacious, well furnished and really clean. However the building was in a really noisy area, and our room overlooked the inner courtyard and the restaurants in it which were very noisy until after midnight, so for this reason we wouldn’t stay here again.

Communication wasn’t good - we contacted the hotel prior to our arrival via the Expedia message service and none of our messages were replied to. We rang and messaged the “emergency number” at about 2300 due to our toilet not working and we didn’t receive any response.

Paid extra for the apartment with the river view. But the apartment we received was in first floor facing a back alley bar which was open through out the night. The rooms are not soundproof. So the noise will keep you awake if you are on the first floor. Not kids friendly. The noise kept us all awake for 2 nights. None of the kids tv channels worked. Sofa bed was not comfortable. Did not have power for the first night and staff were unreachable. Took €150 deposit and never returned even after 5 days.

However, the location was good. It was only 20 minutes walk to the commercial square.

Stayed for one night in these apartments and they were top class. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable beds. All the amenities that was needed. Nice bathroom with a great shower. Clean and comfortable. Location was excellent.When I come back to Lisbon I will definitely try to stay here

The property is well managed and has been recently renovated. It is very clean and modern plus in a good location. However, the noise from a club across the street until 4:00 a.m. was unbearable! The staff was very accommodating and moved us up a floor and around the corner which we better but still lots of street noise after midnight. Apparently the club is closing soon but just be aware. Otherwise a great property!!

This property is in a great location, just next to the time out Market and a walk to the main city centre.
The apartment also has a rooftop bar and restaurant(little pricey compared to restaurant next door).
Clean and comfortable, the only issue we had was the sewerage smell coming from the bathroom. We kept the bathroom door closed as much as possible. Staff were super polite and very helpful, during checkout we were allowed to leave our bags for an additional cost of 5euro for each bag for 5 hours. We were supposed to receive a bottle of wine during check in but didn’t, when I mention this during check out, they said no.
Staff mentioned that I had left my shoes behind in the room which I thought was very considerate. Don’t think I would stay again due to the smell in the bathroom, prevented us from wanting to shower.
If your someone that has lost your sense of smell, then this hotel is perfect, so convenient to all that Lisbon has to offer. Also, do yourself a favour and visit Sintra(1 hour drive), it’s amazing…

Great stay for families in Lisbon

The hotel was in a great location near Food venues that were varied and provided easy access to a bunch of different types of dining options. The hotel itself was very secure with plenty of security to create a very safe environment for anyone traveling to the city of Lisbon not that we felt the city to be unsafe. We had a bit of a problem with the hot water in our unit, but after discussing it with the staff via WhatsApp, we were able to get switched to a new room at no additional cost with a better views and the hot water situation was handled. Overall, the hotel was great. The beds were comfortable, and the space was very ample.

As others have shared, it is quite noisy in the apartment in the evenings on the weekends because it overlooks multiple outdoor dining restaurants. The apartment was across the street from the Time Out Market food hall. The Pink Street is around the corner. Because it is close to the waterfront the area is very level, however, if you wish to go into the heart of town or up to the park, it is all uphill - and steep. We were there during a festival and the tram and roads were closed down. We had 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room. We were very comfortable. There was a school playground outside our windows, so when they kids were playing it was a bit loud. Otherwise, highly recommended.

We had a beautiful apartment for our stay. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The place got a little noisy at night due to the Java club on the rooftop, but it wasn't anything we couldn't live with. Our concierge offered his services and was very helpful. Fab apartment in a great location just across from Time Out Market which did super food. Close to Cais to Sodre station so very handy for transport. Options of bus, tram, Metro and trains which we used a few times to travel to other places.
Apartment had nice big bedrooms a comfy spacious living area with great kitchenette and was equipped with everything we needed.
I received a message from the concierge on arrival day offering to help with anything needed whilst we stayed, and key pick-up etc was easy and problem free.
There was a little office on site staffed throughout the day and the staff were very helpful with any questions. One of them even called whilst we were on a way from the airport at beginning of our stay to check if we would make it by 6pm to collect our key because we had a big delay with our flight on arrival day.
Would definitely recommend staying at Lisbon 5 Stars and I would stay there if visited Lisbon again in future. 😊

The building is in a good location and the apartment was clean and spacious. The only request I would have is a safe for personal valuables. Most hotels have this in the room. We enjoyed our stay at thus property.

Had trouble with key card getting demagnetized, and elevators stopped working for last 2 days, used stairs to 4th floor. Otherwise everything else was great. Clean and bright living area. Great location.

Good location, ok comfort and communication.

The location is excellent. Very convenient, near lot of restaurants, bars and cafes. Not to mention, literally across the street from time out market. Walking distance to the docks if you plan on taking boat cruise etc and fairly close to couple of train stations. Aparrment is clean but comfort wise, i would give it 3.5/5.

The service is not good. The staff show absolutely no interest in answering questions or giving suggestions.
If you want to sleep at night, then forget about this place. It is terribly noisy. The roof bar has music playing until 3 in the morning. The waste bins are emptied in the middle of the night making terrible noises. You can hear conversations and laughters from peolpe that stay at the roof bar until 5 am.

Such a great experience staying here. The amenities are excellent and the staff ate great. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. Great restaurants located all around the neighbourhood and walking distance to multiple sites to see. Highly recommend.

Too noisy during night. Lots of people on the street every night made lots of loud noise, horned the car and playing music and shout. We couldn’t sleep, it was terrible.

This is NOT a luxury place. Be aware!
The building itself is like a maze, when we finally reach to the apartment as you opened the door you see a chair in one of the bedrooms all peeling off and that was only the start from there the beds and all the other chairs were peeling off. No blankets were found in the apartment and when the concierge was contact no help was given.
The place was so bad that we decided to leave Portugal earlier than expected.
If you are looking for luxury this is NOT the place at most this will be a 3 start place.

Very good location to everything. Walking distance to shopping areas, food areas, grocery stores, train station is convenient. We stayed on the forth floor, not noisy when windows are closed. We had our room bedsheets and towels changed the once during the 5 days we stayed. The amenities in the room were all in working condition includimg the coffee machine, kettle etc. beautiful view from the 4th floor and felt very safe as it's a card key access to enter lifts and corridors. Very simple check-in and kept up to date with emails etc.

The service at the establishment was subpar, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The manager we encountered was extremely impolite and uncooperative. When we requested for someone to come and change our bedsheets and provide us with towels, she outright refused. She even went as far as shouting that the premises were not a hotel and that we were required to pay for any extra amenities. It was quite concerning that she expected us to pay for clean towels, considering that we had booked the room for three nights. Additionally, her behavior was very problematic, and we felt that it was rooted in racism.

Great location and very comfortable hotel room. The starf was really accommodating. Only problem is the street noise. Even with the windows closed, we can hear people talking in the street and all the activities in the restaurants nearby.

This is my 2nd time staying here. We had a nice, big 2 bedroom apartment in a prime location. It is close enought to walk to many places of interest and there is a subway/train stop right across the street.
Amazing places to eat including the rooftop bar and restaurant, Java, on the 5th floor of this building. Time Out Maket is right there as well as several others with indoor and outdoor dining options.

Wow! This hotel checked off every box for me.
The value for the quality room, location and service was on point.
The hotel is in front of “time out” which is a indoor food market with great dining selections. Also, the rooms are well appointed and spacious. What put my experience over the top was the service. The check in was painless and the management was always available. Unfortunately I lost my key and at 12 at night and instantly I got a replacement. Additionally, the concierge was amazing as they gave great recommendations from dining to entertainment. Both on the beaten path and places that only locals know about. Touché!

Very poor check in experience

Told them I wasn't going to arrive till 1900 and needed sm email on how to check in as desk would be closed. Heard nothing at 1600 as we boarded out plan so my daughter had phone them, very tress full and unnecessary.
Despite being on for 72 hours continuous with the curtains closed the a/c never got down to 20deg
We had a combination microwave and oven but the microwave never worked

The location of this property was perfectly close to everything. Unfortunately our unit wasn't ready when we arrived well after checkin time. The unit was fairly clean but very worn and beat up. Lastly the day we checked out our flight was departing late so we left our luggage in their office, for 5 euro a bag. When we returned to retrieve our baggage we found that the office was closed. No one mentioned to us that they would close for a couple of hours for lunch. This caused us a lot of stress as we needed to catch our flight. Eventually some one came to open the door, after making a couple of calls.

This is a nice condominium, the washroom facilities are amazing, bedding comfortable , good air conditioning. 4 coffee pods included with nespresso machine with all kitchen needs.
The only complication was communicating with the condominium on checking. They were requesting a specific time, 72 hours prior to arriving which could be difficult since we were visiting and did not have specific plans at that time. We showed up after 3 since the instructions were that the hotel registration were between 3-6. I asked to check in with the condo security which could not help me. Tried to contact Expedia with no results. I started going toward the left of the security counter where the restaurant was and found the registration office there. Check in was VERY easy. BUT why does Expedia not just say checkin from 3-6 next to the restaurant! Besides that it was a great stay.
