Amazing Hostel! Staff is really nice and welcoming , accommodations were great. The terrace is a really nice place to hang out and meet people. Alcool is cheap , they serve good food also. Everything was excellent , definitly the best hostel ive been in yet!

Loved the rooftop terrace and free beer and sangria every night. Breakfast is free and it’s SO easy to meet people here. Also the location was literally the best thing about this place. So central and right above a train station (couldn’t hear a thing!). Timeout foodhall is right across the street too, and it’s super easy to walk anywhere in the city from here.

Great Hostel To Stay At In Lisbon

The hostel is right by he water and is on the first floor of the station but you can’t hear any of the noice from outside.
Very plush and modern, the beds are very comfortable and the facilities are amazing.
The highlight being the rooftop. The bar and the pool is just an amazing idea and I loved spending time there.
The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and the staff is just amazing!
A definite for solo or small groups looking for a good hostel to stay at!

Amazing stay. No question the best hostel I have ever stayed at. We had a private room with bathroom, but the group rooms also looked quite nice. not just your typical barracks style bunk beds. Free wine and beer in the evening was a great catalyst for socializing and the rooftop bar/pool is a fantastic area. Great location, close to all the action, and convenient to everything Lisbon has to offer. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but good, filling food, setting you up nicely for a day of adventuring.

I was so happy with my stay! The beds were comfortable. I started off in a top bunk, but I have short arms and legs, and dreaded getting in and out of bed, so I was able to switch to a lower bunk for the second half of my stay. Much better!
The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't take advantage of any tours, but they all looked really good. The free breakfast was fantastic - it was simple, but there was a great variety. The location was also very convenient - right over a train station! I was a little confused about how to get in the first time, but I found another guest who told me what to do. Thanks for everything!

Great location and friendly staff

The location of this hostel is amazing. In the train station but still peaceful. The noises are more from the street than from any trains. The breakfast wonderful - bread, crepes, fresh fruit, luncheon meat and cereal. There was even a espresso machine. I would have given my stay a 10/10 had it not been for the showers. I appreciate the notion of saving water and am all for it, but only 10 seconds each time seems a bit excessive. I had to continuously focus on pushing the button or the water temperature would shut off and temperature would cool if I missed it. The stall was also very narrow.

Aside from the shower though the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room and was spacious, bed was comfortable. The location was perfect. Right in the train station and very close to any sites or transportation.

Nice hotel in the very centre of the city

I came for 1 Christmas night and the holiday event at the Destination hotel was amazing. The guys loved it alot. Christmas decoration, big Christmas dinner, hot wine and got cider. Dances in the dome. Everything was fantastic. Part of the hostel premises are located in the old rail station which makes this place even more special. My friends ask me about all this old electronics on photos. The corridors look like a museum. This place is for sure outstanding!

Ridiculously good value

Our stay at Sunset Destination Hostel was nothing short of wonderful. Everything from the friendly staff, to the comfortable room and beautiful rooftop terrace helped make our stay in Lisbon our best trip yet. The location was perfect for us too, we'll definitely be back!

A really great hostel, with great amenities and great staff. one guest in my room was not a nice person though and this spoiled what could have been a perfect stay. Perhaps if you charged a little more so that you weren't the cheapest hostel available you would avoid attracting the wrong type of person.

Very good value and close to centre of town - could not have been more helpful to us - we stayed for 1 night before going to jungle - after 3 days in the jungle they happily stored our bags for no charge while we went for some food while waiting for our flight - for a good mid range option I think you would struggle to do better in Manaus

NO better hostel in a FAB location with BREAKFAST!

This was the best hostel stay I have had in recent times...wonderful buffet breakfast everyday with wonderful, friendly, relaxed staff to help you when you needed it. Location allowed for wonderful view during the day and night, especially during sunset on the terrace!!

Very helpful and affable staff, the amenities are modern, well kept and always clean yet the place has a nice rustic and retro feel. The breakfast is varied and filling, pancakes and fruit are my favourite so I was very happy. As for the dorms, the beds are comfy, have a curtain for privacy and have a personal light; what more do you need?

Fantastic location and view of the river!

Very pleased with my stay at Sunset Destination. It was under construction during my time there, so that was a little bit of a pain, but they did an amazing job accommodating their guests during the renovations. I'm sure it will be even more beautiful once that is completed. One thing to note... It's definitely not a party hostel, so don't come here if you want to stay up late and be loud. You will be kindly reprimanded by the 24/7 receptionist. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely stay at this location again. The free wine @ sunset was a very nice touch.

One of the best hostels of ALL time!!!

I stay at a lot of hostels and this was one of my favorites – highest praise! I will think really hard if there are any constructive critiques I can give…. I'm pretty sure it's a solid five stars though! have your own Toiletries! Towels s are given though.
The hostel also has a rooftop bar and pool! This is amazing! Too bad it was February! They even give a free glass of wine at sunset, which is so nice, but hard to take advantage of because there's lots to be out doing in Lisbon! It's a great city! The atmosphere is pretty conducive to meeting other travelers. People here are friendly and happy – because why wouldn't you be, you're in a GREAT hostel! It was actually a really well stocked kitchen on the whole, which I totally appreciated! Space to prepare your own food and a kettle and tea all day so you can have tea whenever you want.
The absolute BEST thing about this hostel was the unreal amazing breakfast! It only goes until 10:30, but you do NOT want to miss It! Crepe style pancakes with Nutella made my life! Although these are in limited supply, so hurry up and get there early - you'll probably only get one. Also, choice of Cereals, breads with cream cheese and amazing jams (yum!) Good orange juice and tea, yougert, cheese and meat slices, fresh fruit slices (apple, orange and kiwi)… loads of variety and delicious food; you can eat until you're full! It's the best. ld stay here again and recommend it to anyone! Very good hostel.

Nice hostel for backpackers

I spent 3 nights in this hostel above the train station. The design was quite trendy, with lots of decoration of youth style, and what's more interesting is the hostel is merged with the second level of the train station! Interesting design!
The roof top is fantastic with a nice view to the river and the surrounding! It would be very nice to have soak into the pool and have a drink during the summer (It's a pity that I went there in winter...). The staff are very helpful and speak English well!

Best ... Hostel ... Ever!

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly friendly from the second you got there. If you needed something, they were there to help you out! The Zebra Bar and pool on the roof were both fantastic, and offered incredible views of the sea.

I cannot wait to come back!

'THE' Place to stay in Lisbon!!

This hostel is more than just a place to stay in a good location.
The staff a so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel apart of a family whilst your away from home! Incredibly helpful on giving information about things to see or do. The breakfast is more than sufficient in the morning to give you a good start to the day before touring the city.
I can't rate this place highly enough, so in short..
It's in a great location, close to all forms of transport to get you about the city, the hostel has a great view of the river, the hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable, staff a friendly and wonderful, the pool is a lovely added extra after you've been out all day..and most importantly, this place allows you to meet other travellers and form life bonds..as Schwartznegger once said..I'll be back!!

We loved our stay at Sunset and the accommodations were excellent. We intended to stay for only one night. A change of plans required us to find accommodations for a second night. Unfortunately Sunset did not have the last minute availability. This was not a problem by any means (poor planning on our part) we were told that we could still utilize the facility for the remainder of the day while we looked for a place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful however I couldn't help but feel like we were overstaying our welcome. It was almost as if the notion of \"our casa es su casa\" was not entirely genuine. We did not want to impose and felt hurried to leave. Even though they never said we needed to go as soon as possible it felt implied. Overall our stay was wonderful. Would love to go back, hopefully I can get past the tinge of guilt I felt for not departing at checkout time.

Well managed hostel, everyone in the staff was very helpful and accommodating, decent breakfast.
most importantly superb location, close to everything worth seeing in Lisbon plus right above the metro and train station
so visiting other sights made it very easy. Rooms and hostel was very clean.
overall we had a very pleasant stay without any complain.

Auberge très bien située pour visiter la ville. Vue imprenable sur le Taje. Personnel au top. Petit bémol sur la chambre. Lit monté sur ressort donc mal au dos, pas de pression en eau froide dans la douche. Mais dans l'ensemble c'est vraiment un bon compromis à un prix défiant toute concurrence. Je recommande.

Muito bem localizado, no entanto as camas não são muito confortáveis e difíceis de \"escalar\" as de cima. Um pouco barulhento. Não recomendo para quem deseja descansar mais ou passar muitos dias. Uma ótima opção para uma estadia rápida ou para badalação.

Feliz escolha em Lisboa

Excelente localização, praticamente dentro da estação Cais do Sodré, em frente ao Mercado da Ribeira e próximo à rua Rosa e outros pontos. Todo hostel tem isolamento acústico, a cama é muito confortável, o hambúrguer servido no bar é delicioso. Ponto mais que positivo para a área da piscina, com djs e uma programação que facilita a interação dos hóspedes. Voltaria a me hospedar e recomendo.

Pontos fortes do hostel Sunset Destination: Equipe de funcionário sempre dispostos a ajudar e é muito bem localizado, no ótimo bairro do Cais do Sodré.

Pontos fracos:
Banheiro compartilhado (mas é normal num hostel, apenas eu admito que errei e não pude voltar atrás). Hostel não serve pra casais brasileiros! É HOTEL, mesmo!
No café e você que faz tudo, seu lanche e lava as louças! Também, pra mim, isso não serve!

Excelente localização, perto da maioria das principais atrações de Lisboa e com transporte público fácil, já que localiza-se na estação Cais do Sodré. A piscina com vista para o Tejo é excelente. Muitas opções de alimentação, bares, restaurantes e mercados nas proximidades. Também fácil acesso de/para o aeroporto e estação de trens. Quartos coletivos um pouco bagunçados, mas limpos.Serviço de guarda malas seguro e eficiente. Uma ótima opção numa das melhores localizações de Lisboa.

Mega cooles Hostel

Es ist direkt an einer Metrostation und es fahren auch sehr viele Busse dort ab. Somit sind die Anbindungen echt gut. Zudem ist der Fluss sehr na, wo man schön entlang laufen kann oder sich mkt ner Pizza hinsetzten kann. Auch shopping Möglichkeiten und Restaurants,sowie ein Supermarkt sind easy per Fuß erreichbar.

Laissez-vous surprendre

Super hotel atypique au-dessus de la gare, donc à proximité des transports en commun et du vieux quartier d'Alfama. Situation idéale pour partir à la visite de la ville. La décoration est très originale et le personnel est très agréable. Le confort est correcte, ça suffit pour le peu de temps qu'on y passe. La terrasse sur le toit et son bar sont excellents pour prendre l'apéro!
