The room was nice, and the staff were wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. One thing to note is that arriving by Uber can be a bit inconvenient, they drop you off about a block away, which isn’t ideal if you have a lot of luggage. Breakfast was okay, but there’s no à la carte option. Even if you only have something small, like egg whites as I did, you’re still charged the full €17.

The location is great, under 10 minute walk from train station and 2 minutes from port/main square. First of all, the location is excellent. It is very close to the main attractions and also conveniently located near bus stops, which made getting around extremely easy.
Secondly, the room was very clean and well maintained. The bedding and towels were quite new, which made our stay comfortable and pleasant.
Most importantly, the service was outstanding. All the staff members genuinely tried their best to make guests feel welcome and satisfied. Special thanks to Diana, who was incredibly helpful. She gave us clear information on where to buy bus tickets, showed us the location of the post office, and even helped us print some documents. The hotel location is great, convenient to walk to many tourist places. The plaza inront of the hotel was very inviting. The staff are friendly and the hotel is well maintained. They shared some goodies to taste each day, a pleasant surprise. The view of the room overlooking the plaza was nice.

The room was extremely clean and amenities were special. The service was exceptional. We had an issue with our room and the hotel manager was able to accommodate us with a new room. We received a delicious treat from the restaurant upon arrival and a soap to thank us for staying with them upon checkout. The guest services people were excellent in providing help, reservations, and umbrellas when it was raining.
A special note that I would recommend would be to book a room facing the plaza and not the back of the hotel. The tram runs by there and you can hear the noise. I was not aware of this situation when I booked.

Location was amazing. Our room overlooked the Praca do Municipio, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Close to everything - shops, restaurants, parks, and metro. Our room was tiny, but comfortable. They replenished water - plain and sparkling daily. At the end of our first day, we were greeted with warm chocolate muffins that were more like a gourmet dessert. YUMMY!!! On our last night they left a sweet note with a homemade bar of soap that smelled wonderful. Every single staff member was so helpful and kind. We didn't want to leave.

I loved the old world charm of this hotel. While the carpet in the room was outdated and could use an update (I’m not really a fan of carpet in hotel rooms), this was one of my best hotel stays EVER. While the building and room was beautiful, it was really the staff that made it stand out. The staff was so kind and extremely helpful. We were only there 2 nights and they remembered our names and greeted us each and every time we left and returned to the property. As with most people in the area, the staff spoke multiple languages (including English) which made questions and transactions clear and simple. They treated us like family. I will stay there each and every time we return to the Lisbon area.

The property is very close to downtown and walkable to the shops, restaurants etc. however situated just on the edge that it will provide you with a quieter evening for sleeping versus hotels sitting on the main strips were noise might filter through. There is a public underground parking you can pay to access, conveniently located just outside the hotel if you have to come by car. Please note this parking garage will be one of the priciest in the city, due to its location (also caters to town officials parking). When we checked in we found our room had been upgraded for free. Our room's decor was charming with our window overlooking the public square. We had a small kitchenette with a mini fridge which we found useful to hold cold drinks to enjoy in our room. We had everything we needed and staff were very polite and accommodating.

This little gem in the heart of Lisbon was our final stop on our trip to Portugal and we clearly saved the best for last. Beautiful facility with all the modern conveniences one would want built into a centuries old structure, with the design featuring those old world touches perfectly. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly and ready to assist. The restaurant in the hotel provided a tasty breakfast bar each morning, and dining there for dinner on our last night in town, was a wonderful coda to our time in Lisbon.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the downtown. Walkable to so much. Staff were lovely. Breakfast (extra) was excellent. Room was very nice in size and amenities but we were disappointed with the noise. Didn’t figure out that ut was music that was coming from the first floor (restaurant and lobby) which was directly below our room. By the time we realized where it was coming from, it was too late to do anything. Not that it was really loud but it was definately there and lasted until 11 pm each day. I would suggest a floor higher than the first if you choose to stay here.

The location of the hotel near the main square in Lisbon was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful eg the receptionist phoning to make a restaurant reservation. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable & the room cleaned to a high standard. The only downside was a lack of wardrobe/drawer space which might have been an issue if we had been staying for more than a few days.
