I can't say enough about this hotel. My wife, daughter and I spent our last night in Portugal here before heading home the next morning. The location was great, just a short walk from the Arch of Rua Augusta. The staff were helpful, professional and friendly. Our room had a nice ambiance and was very clean. When we checked in we were given a coupon good for a 20% discount at the restaurant. Our dinner at the restaurant was a really big surprise. The food was excellent (two entrees, one chicken, one beef with fries, two bowls of wonderful soup, three bottled drinks and three desserts) and the service was excellent. The total, after the discount was $35.10 USD! When I booked the hotel I payed for the optional breakfast, not realizing that we would not have time to eat before leaving for the airport. (They don't start serving breakfast until 0730). While eating our dinner I mentioned this fact to our waiter. He volunteered that they could prepare a breakfast to-go that we could pick up in the morning. We grabbed our breakfast (two large bags) as we left for the airport. We were pleasantly surprised when we looked inside. There was 3 bottles of juice, rolls, sliced ham and two kinds of cheese, croissants, pastries, 3 cups of yogurt, silverware and napkins! Wow! Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely choose this hotel again.

This was the perfect hotel for a week long stay in the heart of Lisbon. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and housekeeping did a really good job every day. The location is excellent if you want to be in Chaido, near all the sites but also for transit and train if you're doing some day trips to Sintra or Cascais. When we go back to Lisbon (and we will because it's awesome) I would stay here again.

Service stood out a lot. Excellent service when checking-in. Was provided orange juice and biscuits. Then suitcases were personally brought to room. Even took the time to explain how things work in the room like the AC, the safe. Did appreciate that they refilled the espresso machine with pods. No kettle or tea bags.

Only real complaint is the curtains aren’t big enough so don’t fully block the sun which is a slight privacy issue. But overall comfortable, clean hotel, nice staff and centrally located. The hotel is a short walk from the subway/metro station, and super close to the Commerce Plaza and the streetcar 28 station. Very clean, modern and elegant, great service and great breakfast. I definitely want to return to this hotel.

A massive post (one of many that support the entire building) straddles the room and makes it look smaller and crammed. The carpets are old and need replacement.
There’s an old 40” Samsung TV (1080P only) with plenty of channels, but we’re still puzzled why it needs to be inside a wooden frame. WiFi is moderately fast and adequate for streaming apps. Bring your AC wall adapters for Europe (round, two-prong).
The shower stall comes with newer sliding doors- it doesn’t leak. The water flow is strong for both hot & cold, for those refreshing showers after a long day of walking in the Old City of Lisbon.
We stayed on the 3rd floor (#301), which offers corner street views. But, don’t get too excited as you’ll see only pedestrians and the adjacent buildings.
The room is spec’d for tall individuals as the coat hangers, cabinet shelves & windows are convenient for taller people. Shorter people will have to use the chair to stow their clothing & other belongings on the antiquated style shelving.
The room has a safe, a small fridge, and a Nespresso-style coffee maker.
The mattress is firm, all linens are clean, but the pillows are not plush (quickly flatten).
The hotel offers breakfast for a daily fee of 15 Euros per person. We’re so glad we didn’t bundle that when we made our reservation, because the Old Lisbon area has too many restaurants, bars, and smaller snack shops.

Every staff member we met was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We were greeted with a cup of tea and a piece of cake when we checked in! Breakfast buffet was plentiful. They kindly brought up a kettle, cup & saucer and tea for me because I don’t drink coffee. When they found out it was my mother’s birthday, they left a lovely pice of cake in her room. Rain shower was amazing. Location as fantastic. Not too far from the metro with our suitcases, and right next to many restaurants. Would highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed here for three nights. The location was perfect, equally distanced from points of interests, busy shopping blocks, markets, restaurants, train stations and trolley stops! The rain shower in our room was excellent and alone worth the price of admission. The reception and wait staff were all very friendly and inviting. We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights for my family. The location was perfect for the first timers in Lisbon. There were tons of good restaurants in the neighborhood yet it was not so noisy at night. It was only 2-minute walk to Arco da Rua Augusta and the magnificent ocean view.
Also the reception staff members were very attentive and genuinely nice.
The only problem we had was the room cleaning crew came late in the afternoon while we were taking our siesta.
We used a shuttle service to the airport. We were told by a lady at the reception that we could pay either by card or in cash but he only took cash. Luckily we had enough cash to pay him.

I decided to stay at the MeraPrime Gold Design Hotel for the accessibility to the city center. When staying here you will find yourself welcomed by the wonderful staff and find it to be very safe and cleanly. The location of the hotel is excellent. All the staff are super helpful and friendly. It’s also thoughtful that they provide and refill one bottle of water in the room everyday. Yet, the condition of the room is quite rundown. The mattress is very old and so too soft that it gave me back pain every morning. The bathroom door lock and the shower switch are out of function occasionally. All the hangers in the room and bathroom are all high up which only fit for people at height 170 cm and above. And the room is really small that there is no desk or table for writing or putting petite stuff. Last but not the least, the room carpet needs deep cleaning or replacement. I dare not walk on it on my bare feet.

Stayed four nights during Lisbon marathon and we are very pleased. The room is large for European standards, having a huge restroom with a patio and bedroom with another patio! Bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Even though the hotel is by two busy streets, the noise at night is not bad as the thick wall and windows block most of it. The hotel is walkable to almost all the sightseeing attractions, close to metro and train stations, and with many food options nearby. We feel very safe. Breakfast includes a lot of selections; on the morning of the marathon, the hotel even started the breakfast earlier for the runners at 6am so we can load some carbs before the race. It was greatly appreciated! Overall a solid 5-star rating from us and we will definitely come back to the hotel for our next visit in Lisbon.
