The hotel is right in the middle of town and it ma de it easy to walk places. The staff was very friendly and as we arrived early in the morning they kept our luggage while we went sightseeing. I took my dad to Lisbon for my 30th birthday and Hotel Do Chiado was the perfect base for us! We were able to book a room with separate beds and a balcony. The pictures do not do this hotel justice! The balcony was large and accommodating, the room and hotel over all was clean and organized. The staff was exceptional- from dinner recommendations, to storing our luggage before check in, to the staff at breakfast and the rooftop bar, Hotel Do Chiado delivered! The location was great, just a 10 minute walk from a large train station making for easy access to a lot of sights and day trips. Thanks so much to the staff for making our stay wonderful! I would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel in a great position - the Metro is nearby and there are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. We had a Premium Room on the 7th floor with a private terrace with beautiful views over Lisbon. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable - and very quiet at night. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety and served by very helpful staff, particularly Miguel. All the hotel staff were extremely pleasant and polite.

The only issue was our bed was not comfortable at all. The room was huge, but the bed was a Murphy bed, which made no sense. It was uncomfortable for the price we paid for the room.

Super friendly staff, conveniently located to walk to the sites in Lisbon. The bed was very comfy (or we were too tired from exploring) and the rainfall shower was great. The breakfast was European and tasty. Three small cons: 1. They need more than one individual coffee/cappuccino makers for the breakfast area. At one point, the line was five people long. 2. Maybe think about getting umbrellas for the individual porches as the sun was brutal. 3. We bought a bottle of wine in town and wanted to enjoy it on our porch. They had no ice maker, but the bar was going to charge 10 Euros for a wine bucket with ice. Hotel Do Chiado is a boutique hotel and charging for ice seemed out of character.

Amazing views and location

The views off our terrace were spectacular. Make sure to book a room with the full terrace if possible. You won't be disappointed. Probably the best view in the city. There are also wonderful views from the breakfast room and the bar. The hotel location was fantastic - it was in the middle of everything. Breakfast was great. The only issue was the beds (we had two small twins). It was like sleeping on a strange, hard, squeaky piece of noisy plastic-like styrofoam. Not even sure how to explain it. Otherwise, the hotel was fantastic.

Poucas opções, não há reposição de alimentos, nunca tem ninguém do time no restaurante (só aparecem para perguntar o nro do quarto), não há nenhuma possibilidade de personalizar o menu, por exemplo, pedir uma omelete. Café em pó solúvel! Uma experiência muito aquém do esperado para um hotel desta categoria e preço.

It was a wonderful stay. The location is amazing. When you come out of your hotel, you’re right there ready to start your day. Breakfast was amazing with a great variety of things. The bed was OK , a little firm. The pillow was my biggest thing. It was too Big and that was the one item that made me feel uncomfortable. And I think the carpets inside the room need a little work or cleaning. It was excellent overall.
The employee there go above and beyond to help you and they’re very nice and polite.

Hotel do Chiado was just beautiful. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast and rooftop bar. The location was great and we were able to walk to many shops, bars and restaurants. I would recommend the rooms with the private terrace. The terrace was very big and the views were outstanding. We used the terrace every morning and afternoon. Would recommend to friends and family. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!!

We had a great stay at Hotel Do Chiado. The reception team were amazing - sorting dinner reservations at recommended venues - all of which were amazing, great quality food and drink. They organised a car service to and from the airport and sorted holding our luggage leaving us to wander the city.

The roof terrace gives a gorgeous view of the city, we found ourselves spending a lot of time in the evenings here pre-dinner.

The private terrace we had with each room was a lovely touch, and the staff were happy for us to take drinks back and provide glasses for bottles we purchased off site.

The location is perfect - everything is a short walk away and it's really easy to get to all the tourist attractions too.

This is an amazing hotel with great service in a convenient location, right next to the Baixa-Chiado metro stop. Staff were very attentive and thoughtful, right down to housekeeping noticing that I slept with two blankets and making up my bed that way. My umbrella broke and they let me borrow one. They have a nice bar and restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast has a wide variety of hot and cold options. Rooms on the 7th floor have stunning views of Lisbon, the River, and San Jorge Castle.

Ten stars for the staff all of whom were super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the people working in the bar/restaurant Sunday afternoon/evening. They were both so nice! Also the gentleman who checked me out of my room early Monday morning. Unfortunately the room was disappointing. The windows were tiny and faced another building which made me feel claustrophobic. The room temperature was too warm and there was no guidance on how to adjust the temperature. There were numerous stains on the carpet and some of the glassware had a grey residue on it (not unclean, likely soap residue). On the upside the towels were very soft and luxurious and the welcome pastel de nata, welcome drink and parting gift were all very nice touches. This was my third stay in Lisbon but not my favorite hotel. While I wouldn’t refuse to stay here again I’d definitely upgrade to a room with a view which would be more expensive. Also the neighborhood , while convenient, was super touristy. Lovely views from the restaurant though!

Gorgeous hotel great view amazing service

This place is simply amazing and pristine. The top floor room with terrace (same level as the rooftop bar) had a great view of the historic Lisbon city with houses and red tiles. Service at the front desk, rooftop bar and breakfast place was just magnificent and flawless with all top amnesties. The room that we stayed on the 7th floor with huge private terrace was expensive but worth it just because how the nice the interior of the room was, spacious, huge patio and great service. Kayla at the front desk was simply the bes, she was super nice, very helpful in answering all our typical tourist like questions on the surrounding areas, direction to restaurants and places to go etc. Our flight reached Lisbon in the morning but our room was not ready for early checkin. She kept our luggage and let us use the restroom to freshen up and also texted and communicated with us the whole time until the room was ready while we wondered around the nearby areas and had drinks and ate lunch. If we ever go back to beautiful and friendly Lisbon and decide to stay near baixa chiado area, I will definitely stay here again!
