The pictures of the reception must be from the opening day... Currently it's dirty and badly maintained... Dirty carpets and walls etc. Elevator walls and floor also dirty.
The hotel is undergoing some room renovations so theres drywall dust everywhere, to the point where we woke up with stuffed noses from the drywall dust.
Would not recommend, pictures are not relevant to the actual condition of the hotel

All entire stay was disaster! Mold on the ceiling, in the bathroom, room 306 is next to housekeeping so at 6am someone switched on laundry machine and I got unpleasant wake up call. Some staff at reception was rude ( especially slightly blond lady on morning shift on 2nd February was constantly on her mobile and didn’t have a time to help to customers). Only the breakfast was great and friendly female server there. Otherwise- sll was really big disappointment!

The location is great, staff are friendly. However, the bathrooms are all molded, even though they let me change rooms. My first room was dark and small and smelled musty. The second room facing the street was brighter and more spacious, but the bathroom is still molded.

The hotel is undergoing remodeling on one of the floors in Nov 2025. So if you read this review in 2027, perhaps the molded bathrooms would be corrected.

We are so pleased with this hotel, it located in the best part of Lisbon with walking distance to many amazing attractions! We still have more than enough time to do some sightseeing in Lisbon, instead stay by the airport, we decided to stay in city and also close to airport. This is the one! Staff are very friendly and polite, thank you so very much!

The hotel is in the center of all the attractions very good but noisy up 12pm. The price of the room is nit worth the money paid. You pay for the position of the hotel. The room was very small and the walls of the room were neglected. Needs a cery hood refresh of paint abd shower need a good renovation. The staff were very nice and helpful.

This is a very basic hotel, but clean and in a great location for exploring Lisbon. However, we were disappointed that they intended to charge extra for the use of the safe and that the hairdryer did not work. The man in reception did give us the safe with no charge as a favour because we were nice, but they could not replace the broken hairdryer, which was inconvenient.

This hotel was great- had everything you needed! Don’t be expecting luxury especially for the more than affordable price but the rooms are lovely, clean and the hotel is in the perfect area to explore Lisbon- 30 seconds from the Main Street. We even had a little balcony which was lovely! Would definitely recommend for a cheap and cheerful stay :)

Located in the heart of Lisbon, and just a short walk away from Praça do Comércio and many landmarks/iconic neighborhoods (Alfama for example), I fully recommend this hotel. Our stay had included breakfast, which was delicious. The room was small but impeccable, with enough space for two parties. Many restaurants and stores around, which was good.

Good hotel in heart of Lisbon

Lisbon is a great city (older than Rome), Very dynamic, sophisticated without the pretentiousness of Paris. Hotel LX Rossio is in the heart of the Baixa district (very touristy). Metro transit close by but very walkable. The Praca de Commercio is 5 minutes away. Hotel is comfortable, older but well maintained. The Lift is welcome due to 5 storeys. Rooms are small but comfy.

Nice shower, but some real negatives here.

Batteries must have been dead in the TV control….no TV. The toilet in a closet and there was not enough room to sit face forward. Had to turn 45 degrees on toilet to use it.

Shower was very nice and leak-proof!

The evening desk agent needs a course in simple courtesy. She was not pleasant. Very typical of service in the Czech Republic during the communist era - pinched lips delivered the don’t do this or that.

Liked the Juliette balcony overlooking the street. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the street. The room itself was a bit odd. It was small, you entered and the small washroom was just inside the door, then go down two stairs. And the bed was there with just enough space to walk around. There was a bit of noise from the street below, but we were so tired that we slept through it.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was dirty, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, covered in mold with a terrible smell. Clearly, cleanliness is not a priority here. I couldn’t feel comfortable during my stay. I do not recommend it and would never comeback.

Location near Rossio Sq. was helpful and a Tourist kiosk was available on the Square, not far from the hotel.
The room was clean and all was in order, the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
There were some works being done in the stairwell and a little noisy but good that the property is being upgraded. The common areas/lounge near the rooms were not so inviting but the room cleanliness made up for this.

Nice older hotel.

It was a very nice place to stay. Not top quality, but certainly no complaints, and well worth it for the price. Location is excellent, right in the heart of the walking district (no cars on the streets, and plenty of shops and eateries).

A great stay.

Great location for sightseeing Lisbon. If you have a car, you will not be able to drive directly outside of the hotel. However, cars are allowed a block away.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was simple, but good. We would return to this hotel.

The location is unbeatable. The rooms were good. The breakfast was very good - much better than most \"continental breakfasts\".

There were a few nits to pick however. The two outlets near the desk were taken by the TV and fridge. The TV didn't seem to turn off, so I unplugged it and used that outlet for my laptop.

The TV was easy to hit my head on when going between the bed and bathroom. The bathroom sink was installed rather high as well.

Overall I have no problems recommending this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is unbelievable outdated, with very smelly carpeted hallways and dirty walls. The room had sheets with hair on it. The bathroom had black mold EVERYWHERE. It was the grossest hotel I’ve even stayed in. Only reason we didn’t leave was because we got in late from a flight and had to wake up very early for another flight the next morning. They need to renovate this hotel ASAP.

While this property has a great location very close to Rocio station, it was very noisy until about 11:40. The hotel is very outdated. The fridge didn’t work, the shower took forever to drain, and the toilet was situated in a way that required you to sit sideways. The sink was very small with limited space to place any toiletries. Carpets in the stairwells should be replaced. No artwork or anything inside the rooms, and the walls were all scuffed and marked up. The breakfast was average, but it was included.
I would not recommend a stay here.

The ladies at front desk were rude to me and started speaking in Portuguese bad about myself and I told them I understood everything they were saying. So I went to my room and was very small so I went downstairs and I told them I will need to leave and please refund me the money for the next two nights not the first one, they spoke to the manager over the phone and manager said ok that they will refund me the money, just to contact Expedia and I did, then they told Expedia that they will not refund me the money.
