Lovely centrally-located hotel, public transport links and plenty of restaurant options nearby. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was well-furnished, well-maintained and had everything we needed. There was plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast.
Reception also arranged a tour to Fatima for us, this too was well-organised and the tour itself, with a small group, was great.

Our stay at Be Poet Baixa Hotel in Lisbon was excellent. It’s a beautiful, small boutique hotel — very clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere feels intimate and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax after exploring the city.

The location truly couldn’t be better. The hotel is right in the heart of Lisbon’s city center, on Rua Augusta — one of the main and most vibrant streets in the area. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and shopping stores, and it’s just steps away from Praça do Comércio, the waterfront, and many of the city’s main attractions. Everything is within easy walking distance.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. We got there very early in the morning, and although our room wasn’t ready yet, they kindly stored our luggage and kept us informed. They even prepared the room a bit earlier than expected, which we truly appreciated.

They welcomed us with wine and traditional sweets from Lisbon, which was such a lovely and authentic touch. Breakfast is also available at the hotel, offering a convenient and enjoyable way to start the day before heading out.

Overall, the service was warm, professional, and accommodating. A fantastic stay in the very center of Lisbon — we would absolutely retur

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the room was not very comfortable — the bed and overall setup did not meet my expectations.
However, I would like to highlight that the staff was extremely kind, attentive, and professional. They were always willing to help and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Their positive attitude truly made a difference.
While the accommodations could use some improvement, the excellent customer service is definitely a strong point of this hotel.

I highly recommend the place. It’s a fantastic location. Close to everything: restaurants, stores, cafes, sightseeings, metro, train stations, bus stations. Everything is a walking distance. And you are always in the middle of fun. The wonderful staff of the hotel adds an additional merit to this hotel. In a way the stay was rather disappointing and under whelming.
Having paid for a larger room etc and also requesting a room as displayed having a full length window: I thought I had overcome the review issues off having a small room. To my disappointment my room was at the back of the hotel with virtually no natural daylight. The actual view was of a horrid dirty building about 10 metres away and to cap it all, there were light industrial fans serving the retail shops and restaurant kitchens. I requested a change of room and was placed in the room immediately opposite looking out onto the street. Again in the morning I was awoken by property renovation work . The banging and drilling was intense, for my room was attached to the adjacent building

My wife and I stayed from January 9th to the 15th and we had a great stay. The room was clean, we'll maintained and stocked with amenities. The staff at the reception were very nice and welcoming. We had breakfast included and it was enough to get us going for the day. The hotel is on a popular street with lots of restaurants and bakeries. At night it can get noisy but with the windows closed it didn't bother us. The hotel is close to the Metro, a train station and trams with popular attractions within walking distance. In all, a very good hotel. On a side note, the staff surprised me with a birthday cake. I wasn't expecting it, but it shows how nice and attentive they are.

We really enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the service. The location was perfect for us—close to shops, restaurants, transportation, and many attractions, which made exploring Lisbon easy. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, and since this was our first visit to Lisbon, they helped make it a great experience. Our room and bathroom were modern, updated, and very clean, with enough space to be comfortable. Having an elevator was a big plus for us, especially being on the 4th floor. We would definitely stay here again, though next time we would like a room facing the street. Totally recommend this hotel!

I had to change rooms as they were remodeling others rooms on the same floor and noise was a problem. Then the same thing happened on the new floor. The room I was moved into was actually smaller than the one I originally booked which was against good guest service. No attempt was made to compensate for troubles.

Great location close to everything you need Rossio station and Baixa chiado are 5 minutes away. Very convenience for when we arrive and leave city. Our room was at the back of the building so it’s quiet at night. Not sure for the room in front of building as hotel located on the main walking street.
Only down point is there is only one small lift in the building and a bit confuse to use. It’s ok for us as our room on 2nd floor but people stay on top floor must be annoy with the lift

It had a coffee machine in the room, a minibar, hair dryer. The bathroom was very good and clean. Overall, we like the hotel, and would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially to first timers. We definitely stay here again if we were to xome back tt Lisbon. It is on the heart of the city, with restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, spots, etc. I can’t say anything negative, except it ticks all the boxes for us for a perfect weekend get away or short visit to Lisbon. The place is nice, restaurants and stores are right under it is a bit crowed on the street. Can not get to the hotel door by car you have to walk a block and a half with luggage but it’s not bad. It is near attractions and plazas, I recommend it.

Had a great day here in December. Rooms overlooked a pedestrian street, which was vibrant with life. Lots of places to eat, drink, and shop. Check-in staff were incredibly helpful. Really enjoyed all of the amenities that this is centrally located hotel had to offer.

We like everything about this hotel. The room was about standard size for a European hotel. The bath we had was small but everything worked perfectly.The staff was exceptionally, very willing to help and had adequate handouts and maps. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but did have drinks with a friend and they were fine.
I would most definitely stay there again.

What a great little gem of a hotel in a fantastic location close to all the sites of Lisbon. Room was spotlessly clean, amenities were fantastic. A greay little bonus of a coffee machine in the room for a little espresso in the morning. Staff were very helpful and friendly, special mention for Tomos and Rui on reception.

The only 2 negatives are that there is not enough storage in the room. A few more shelves and a few hooks on the wall would really be helpful, especially when you stay longer than a couple days.

And the restaurant bathroom is filthy!

Only pitfall was the coffee at breakfast was lukewarm. Pretty good options with basics of eggs, bacon, beans and sausages covered. Nice selection of cheese, meats, pastries and fruit.
We’d highly recommend, as your eateries are right outside your front door. Taxi rank about 3 min walk. A nice vibe, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
