We had a premier queen room for 3 nights. The main purpose of a hotel room is to rest and refresh. I am an ex-DJ and am partially deaf to noise, but on the first night, I barely slept from the traffic outside. The second night, there wasn’t much noise outside, but the walls are very thin, and we could hear the neighbor going to the bathroom and the trampling on the floor of the people above us. They do give you earplugs in the room as an amenity, which already mentally prepared us for what is about to come. Lol. I really don’t understand the “phenomenal breakfast” thing in the reviews. We signed up for 10 am (they give you three options), and there were never any scrambled eggs left-pretty much the only item I cared about. Luckily the pastel De natas saved the day.
The reception is on the 5th floor; the elevator goes to the fourth floor. Have fun dragging suitcases up one floor through a spiral stairway. This is If you are lucky, the elevator is working to get you to the 4th floor; it wasn’t on the second day of our stay. My foot was injured, and it was a nightmare walking up and down the stairs (luckily, we were on the first floor). I am giving an extra star for the top-notch housekeeping and the perfect location. I think, overall, they are nice people, but they should invest in proper window and room insulation.

Great location, very clean, felt safe, breakfast was traditional but gave variety. Even offered gluten free buns for my mom is celiac. Also just down the road (walking distance) to a gluten free restaurant.
It was a smaller hotel which gave a more welcoming vibe. Staff was very friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better cute, welcoming hotel.

Very comfortable and convenient stay. Yes, there is some street noise, but it typically got quiet enough by 10-11pm for a good sleep. Was not awaken at all during the night. Great cleanliness and the included breakfast is good, since nothing really opens in Lisbon until 10am (except for some brunch places). There is a small elevator from the ground floor to the 4th floor, and then a staircase going up to the attic reception / living room. Although it is a very minor inconvenience, it is a nice area for breakfast, an espresso, and quiet hang out space. The 20 or so rooms are on floors 1-4.

Staff was very helpful. The hotel is is the center of the Baixa neighborhood. Lots ot things to do including an indoor mall. close to bus connections for the hop on hop off buses. They have a relationship with a shuttle from the airport which was 35 Euro for two. We were there for two nights awaiting out cruise ship. The rooms were clean, although but reasonable for the price. In room shower. Probably not good for individuals with access problems as breakfast and the main desk are one floor up the stairs on 5. Snug elevator only goes to 4.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff are super friendly, the breakfast every morning was amazing, the bread tasted so so good, and they had healthy options like veggies and fruits, and even Goji berries for your yogurt! They also have cake service with Coffee every day at around 5 PM, which was a welcoming change of pace from touring the city all day. The location is superb, super close to the rossio train station for one day trips to Sintra and other cities, as well as all the really well rated restaurants. It gets a little noisy on the weekend at night, but that’s a pretty fair trade off for how central the location is. Our room was actually pretty spacious by European standard, and we love the fact that we could store our luggage when we arrived so we can begin to export City immediately.

Property is welllll secured and in EXCELLENT condition considering the way the rest of the city looks. Breakfast is continental, but its wayyy better than other hotels hot breakfast. Checkin was smooth and if you communicate with them via messaging thru Expedia, it will make things a lot better. We left a bottle of champagne for Pedro for OUTSTANDING Customer he showed us. We hope he enjoys it. Location is than a couple 100 feet from souvenir shops and tons of authentic Portuguese restaurants. Only downside was its on a busy street and you can hear outside noise

This is a boutique hotel. Only 20 rooms and very small. Check in is on the 5th floor- they have an elevator to the 4th floor and then you need to walk up narrow stairs to the 5th floor. The 5th floor is where the breakfast is as well. The price for our 1 night stay was not worth it. No little fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. We would not stay again. Staff friendly.

Could not say enough great things about this hotel. It’s in the perfect location; within walking distance of many attractions such as Santa Justa Lift, Tram 28, praca do Comercio, etc… but also very close to public transit to get to Belém, LX factory, etc with ease.

Every single person we encountered on staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful which is part of what made the stay so enjoyable.

The breakfast was another aspect that made this hotel stand out, it is certainly one of the best free breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel. We went to A Brasileira for breakfast one day and quickly regretted it as the hotel breakfast was better(and included). The only way the hotel breakfast could be improved is if you could order a cappuccino but not a big deal.

We also loved the lounge area that the breakfast is in; this is open all day to guests providing another space to relax with free coffee, tea, and snacks available throughout the day.

Truly an excellent experience staying here and if we’re ever back in Lisbon we would stay here again.

The place is at the amazing location right by the famous elevator. The place has an elevator as well. The room was clean and neat. Had the slippers and blackout curtains. The breakfast was lovely as well.
The only disadvantage is the noise that comes from the street. We ignored previous comments when booking it but you can truly hear everything that's going on. No noise cancellation here.
Overall a great place for the price.

I loved staying at Tempo, I would definitely stay here again. The room was nice, clean comfortable and had what we needed and more. The staff were friendly and so helpful and accommodating. I don’t remember the name of the first receptionist that assisted us when we got there, but we got there on Sunday at almost 7am (our flight landed very early) and she was so helpful, allowed us to get some breakfast and said that if the room was early will notify us. We went around to see the city for a bit and then the room was ready. The breakfast was very good, just what we needed every morning to get on with our day. The hotel is in a great location right next to the elevator Santa Justa, and walking distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants.

Conveniently located at the heart of Lisbon’s city centre, this hotel is a great place to stay and explore the city from. Renovated with modern touch, nicely decorated rooms and a lovely reception. The rooms are quite small but have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The only caveat was that our room was on the 4th floor literally a floor under the main reception and breakfast area and that was quite noisy. The floor is wooden so we could hear guests and staff walking up and down, having conversations etc. Neutral about the staff, we were welcomed at check in but at breakfast there was no interaction.

Best location in central Lisbon. Right next to the famous Elevator and close to all the sights and restaurants. The door is on the Main Street a bit hidden. Have to take an internal elevator up to the check in. But very convenient. Loved it. Walked all around the neighborhood.

Some people like luxury. We like fun and quirky. And clean and well managed. That’s why we loved Tempo. Definitely quirky with only about 20 rooms. But clean, small rooms and excellent management courtesy of Daniella who seems to have all the answers at any time you need her (business hours of course). Street noise could be a problem and the rooms are basic but very comfortable. Location was terrific, easy walking to all kinds of places. Nice breakfast. Elevator is on ground floor (good) not first floor like I read somewhere. Reception is on fifth floor - quirky but you adjust. And entrance is very …understated, next to Candy Lisa. So if you are the fun and quirky type, Tempo is for you.
