Great location but over priced. cleaning was terrible asking for clean towels everyday and almost not toilet paper had to ask for it twice. Lift not working in some floors.

Construction all day long

First I was charged extra fees on my credit card because only half of the bill was charged in CAD and the other half was charged in EUR at the hotel. Second there was very loud construction all day long starting at 8am until dark a couple meters across from my room window making it impossible to sleep. There was concrete being drilled and steel being cut, etc. All the hotel offered me was another room with a shared bathroom with a complete stranger. Not happy with the stay.

Horrible, we did not have a place for towels,entrance was dirty Garbage on the stairs below,no Elevator I am 81 years old they want me to go to 4th floor they want to charge me 15 euros more very unpleasant reception I was chocked after I complained they gave me a room on second floor after I complained ..very bad For a place but not even a chair or place for a bottle of water or purse.They had to be on the floor no small light bad shower I could not use it.The area is nice but horrible when we getting on entrance is dirty.very bad appearance.dirty stairs garbage can ... no servicê at all

Room was decent for the price and very centrally located. Staff were very helpful, especially with answering questions.
My only issue was that the shower took a long time to heat up and when it did heat up it was scalding and when you turned the temperature down just a little bit, it was freezing, there was no in between and the shower screen didn't work well resulting in a very wet bathroom floor! Thankfully there was a bath mat so I didn't slip over.

Se procuram um sitio onde querem ser enganados e mal-tratados, este é o sitio ideal.

Fiz uma reserva com dois meses de antecedencia e quando cheguei a pensao, disseram que a reserva estava cancelada. Disseram que nao tinham mais quartos e simplesmente estavam a reservar quartos nesse mesmo momento por um valor 4 vezes mais elevado.
Desde ofensas até me mandarem dormir na rua, ouvi de tudo. E por cima ainda estou sem o meu dinheiro.

Booked Pensao Beira Minho but stayed in Nova Goa

I’ve booked my two night stay at Pensao Beira Minho but upon arrival, after climbing up to the old stairs to the second floor with our luggage, we were taken to Pensao Nova Goa that’s 2 blocks away, by the receptionist who took our information and said to us that that she’s bringing us to a place that’s newer and includes the breakfast. So in the end we didn’t stay at Pensao Beira Minho, but I felt glad that she did. The place looks like a very old building that requires a new and better look. Our stay at Pensao Nova Goa was ok, though I couldn’t even find the hotel on Hotel.com when I checked. The hotel requires cash payment upon arrival after I finished booking Beira Minho online and I found that very inconvenient. The hotel later emailed me separately for my CC info to confirm booking and I had to call and speak with a Hotel.com representative who then contact the hotel directly confirmed that I didn’t need to prove them CC info and that my booking was confirmed. So I didn’t stay at Beira Minho, but both places were in very good location, a few min walk from Rossio metro station, and the # 28 tram that costs $2.90 but covered by our 2-day metro pass.

Enter via a grubby staircase and find \" reception\" on 2nd landing - no effort has been wasted on the decorating - continue to top floor to dismal gloomy corridors
Room - bathroom acceptable, there is a coffee machine and choice of 3 beds - clean cotton sheets
Floor is disintegrating
Walls not decorated for years
The noise in the square outside never stops
There is no air-con so very little sleep
Breakfast served on a tray - mainly plastic wrapped - sit on the bed to eat ?

Best location, everything in the vicinity.2 Mins from Metro and Rossio square.
Stayed for a week. Comfort is bad as the beds used to crank while sleeping. Room was cleaned with new linen and towels everyday and was nice to see that way after returning from day trips.

Do Not Stay Here

Do not stay here. Security is compromised because anyone can get directly to every room on two (2) floors. Water leaks also are frequent as one can see in the reviews. By paying cash upon arrival one cannot place a claim for loss of property or water damage as one could with a credit card transaction.

we arrived at the hotel and was told we had to move to a sister hotel down the road,and we had to pay cash. which I did not have on me,the hotel looked shabby, and we were happy to go to the other hotel as it looked more inviting to us when we got there.and they took the credit card payment. I do not understand if you book a room with a no cancellation policy why you have to pay there, we had a disagreement with the manager about payment,he finally called HOTELS.COM.and they confirmed that payment had not been taken, overall not happy with the service.

good location and price

Very nice location in the center of many popular places of Lisbon. It is about 50 meters from Rossio metro station . Hotel staff was kind and friendly and responsible on all questions. Breakfast was good. It was in the room. A Service woman brings a tray with food and coffee. When the final day of Portugal came, we asked before to bring the breakfast at 6:30 and it came right on time so the service was great.
Only one thing was disappointing. It was noisy in evening and early morning. Probably it was because there are many cafes near the hotel and they are loud when they open and close these services outside. But it occurs often since it is in the center of the city.
I will recommend this hotel because good location, friendly staff, price and comfort room.

Amazing location!!

Literally at the entrance way of Rossi metro subway station. Amazing location, central. Basic rooms with towels and soap only but clean. Perfect for what I needed it for. Friendly staff. Breakfast was coffee, juice, yogurt, Apple and bread x 3 and a whole package of ham :)

Sehr Zentral aber alles andere schlecht!

Das Hotel ist super zentral gelegen. Aber die Zimmer sahen nicht wie auf den Fotos aus, und schon wen man die sehr alten Treppen hinaus geht ahnt man schlechtes.Bei der Rezeption löst sich die Tapete ab und das zieht sich in den zimmern leider weiter. Die Zimmer und das Bad waren leider nicht so sauber, die Bettkanten waren voller Dreck und das Bad hatte ein buch unter dem Regal weil er anscheinend abgebrochen war. Und alle Fugel waren sehr alt und bröckelig. Die Fenstern sind sehrsehr schlecht isoliert und mann kann um 3 Uhr morgens das Gespräch der Müllmänner mitanhören!

A localização é excelente. Somente isto, pois o quarto que fiquei era decepcionante. Box do banheiro quebrado, esgoto entupido ( não tomamos banho ), janela quebrada e sem curtina, paredes com mofo. Falei com o dono e ele me falou para procurar outro hotel, pois não podia fazer nada. Foi o que fiz. Entrei às 20h e saí às 9h do outro dia. Turistas, não aluguem nada nesta pensão. Expedia, por favor, verifiquem o quarto 410. Ah! Elevador quebrado - estava me esquecendo disto.

Minha reserva estava cancelada

Minha reserva estava cancelada quando cheguei lá sem qualquer aviso prévio. Bem cansada estava vindo do Porto depois de passar o dia parando de cidade em cidade. Estou aguardando uma resposta do hoteis.com, que ainda nao se posicionou, já que era uma estadia nao reembolsável. Tive que me realocar em outro hotel que por sinal, mais caro! Falta de respeito. Decepcionante.

市街地が望めるダブルバルコニーシティービューを予約していたが、レセプションで徒歩約3分の同系列のペンサオ・ノヴァ・ゴアに移動させられる。担当者は同レベルと説明したが、我々の前にチェックインしていたカップルも同じ説明を受け従うことにした。ところが行ってみるとひどい部屋で窓の外はスラムのような景色。渋々泊まることにしたが、貴社はこんなホテルを紹介すべきではない！

高齢の両親と一緒の為エレベーターの有る事を優先させて選んだのに故障近くで５階まで重い荷物を運ばなくてならず、外出する度に5階までの往復で大変不便だった。室内は清潔だったが、階段脇にゴミや掃除道具が放置され不快だった。ドアノブがグラグラしていて今にも外れそうだったのも両親を不安にさせたので残念だった。エレベーターの故障は事前に知らせるべきだと思う。

Das Appartement war neu un gross. Super Preisleistung. Relstiv Zentral gelegen. Check in war leider nicht sehr errfreulich. Mussten 32 Euro nachzahlen für Taxen und Endreinigung. Dies war in der Bestätigung nicht etwähnt. Er hätte uns sonst den Schlüssel nicht gegeben. Werde es trotzdem weiterempfehlen.

Заезд в этот отель сначала был омрачен тем, что мне сообщили что всё занято предложили номер без удобств внутри. Я отказалась, тогда мне предложили номер из их сети(который близко расположен) с удобствами внутри на одну ночь. О! Это был полный кошмар-это была большая ошибка. Не буду описывать. На следующий день мне предоставили номер. Моему счастью не было предела. Хочется отдельно отметить, отель отлично расположен под окнами остановка метро, очень близко ж/д вокзал с отправлен в Синтру, а если немного пройти (или 2 остановки на метро) ж/д вокзал в Кашкайш.

Notre séjour nous avait été offert et toutes les coordonnées bancaires fournie par la personne qui nous l'offrait. N'est-il pas curieux qu'une seule nuit ait été débitée sur la carte bancaire fournie lors de la réservation, et que nous ayons dû régler les trois autres nuits qui avaient été retenues ?
Avons dû demander une autre chambre, car la première (toute petite et bruyante), possédait un lit grinçant, aux pieds instables, ventilateur au pied cassé ainsi que la prise électrique, pas d'abat-jour sur la lampe de chevet.
Point positif : emplacement très central, et proximité des transports en commun.

Você que pretende ter o mínimo de conforto procure outro hotel. Quarto minúsculo e sem ar condicionado. Tem que dormir com a porta da sacada aberta com o barulho imenso da limpeza de rua, onibus, além de quem fica conversando sentados na calçada do bar. O box do banheiro não cabe a nao ser uma criança. Tentaram cobrar duas vezes, debitaram integralmente no cartão quando reservei, e depois quando me hospedei, se não vejo o aviso de débito feito pelo cartao iria ver só quando tivesse partido. Fui restituído, mas tive que provar o duplo débito no cartão! Hotéis.com vocês deveriam ver de perto o que oferecem.

Muy pequeña y calurosa

La habitación nos resultó muy pequeña y extremadamente calurosa. Había un ruido de alarma en la calle todo el rato, muy chirriante. En la tele solo se veía un canal y el wifi no funcionaba. Para el precio que pagamos(60€/noche) bastante incómoda la estancia. Aunque la localización es perfecta y nos ofrecieron un parking por 15€/ día.

Siamo arrivati alle 22:30 nella pensione con la sorpresa che la prenotazione era stata cancellata ! Il motivo ancora non ho capito! Un incubo per trovare un'altra sistemazione! Devo dire che le ragazze della reception sono state carinissime ad aiutarsi.
Nessun preavviso da Expedia e del albergo del cancellamento della prenotazione! Delusione totale!

Local de difícil acesso, agravado pela intolerância das autoridades de trânsito que não nos permitiram nem a descarga das malas. Hotel em obras com toda a gama de problemas que um evento desse traz. Extremamente inseguro, visto sua recepção estar no 2º andar e não limitar ou verificar o transito de pessoas ou o uso do elevador para acesso a outros andares. Limpeza interna do quarto deixou muito a desejar, pois a roupa de cama não foi trocada nos 3 dias que lá estivemos, apesar do nível de poeira presente. Chuveiro quase impossível de ser regulado. Durante o banho fomos diversas vezes congelados ou escaldados.

Varasin hotellin 8 kuukautta aikaisemmin. Kun saavuimme meillä ei ollutkaan varausta voimassa. Siirsivät meidät lähelle toiseen hotellin. Uudessa hotellissa wc:n ovi ei mennyt kiinni, kaikki vanhaa, yksi kulunut peitto, ei hiustenkuivainta. Suihku oli todella hankala ja tiputti vettä koko yön.

Se ti accontenti di una branda dove dormire va benissimo. Per tre volte ho chiesto la sistemazione della doccia rotta ma niente. Il wi-fi ha funzionato solo 3 giorni su 7, la TV non è collegata all'antenna (zero canali visibili). Tutte piccole cose quando uno è in vacanza ma comunque fastidiose. Pulizia sufficiente e posizione effettivamente ottima per visitare la città a piedi. Fermate metro, taxi e bus davanti alla porta d'ingresso.

Posizione ottima ma struttura sporchissima!

Lenzuola macchiate, polvere, bagno allagato, porta del bagno rotta e nel “balcone” vi erano chiodi e bottiglie di birra sporche. Pericoloso oltre che sporco. Appena arrivati abbiamo chiesto di cambiare stanza date le condizioni pietose, ma non siamo stati accontentati. Ci hanno cambiato le lenzuola e hanno provato ad aggiustare la porta. Purtroppo non posso caricare il video in cui si vede l’acqua che scendo dal controsoffito e allaga il bagno. La struttura in generale è molto vecchia e sporca. SCONSIGLIATA!

Hotel w trakcie remontu o czym nie uprzedzono, kurz, pył, łazienki zawilgocone , brak wentylacji, śniadania a właściwie suchy prowiant codziennie takie same, brak czarnej herbaty. Na recepcji młodzi studenci nie zawsze obecni i wówczas nie można dostać się do pokoju.
Jedynie lokalizacja była super.

Comodissimo,in centro, attaccato alla metro e alle piazza principali.
Le stanze però sono sporche. Quando sono andata stavano facendo dei lavori per cui tutti i corridoi erano occupati da sacchi, scale ecc.
Sicuramente per ragazzi poco esigenti è molto comodo e conveniente in termini di prezzo. ( Ti fanno pagare in contanti appena occupi la stanza)

Een leuk pension in het midden van Rossio, metro voor de deur waar je alle kanten me op kunt.
Zijn het pension aan het vernieuwen. Wij hadden een mooi uitzicht op het plein vanaf het balkon, simpel maar leuk ontbijt op de kamer.

Purtroppo si tratta di una pensione scadente sotto ogni aspetto. Struttura fatiscente senza riscaldamento ,bagno con vetro a giorno senza alcina privacy, la maniglia della porta scassata si faceva fatica ad entrare ed uscire. verkehrsgünstige Pension mitten in der Altstadt

Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist super. Busse, Straßenbahnen und Metro sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.
Das Zimmer ist groß, aber schlecht eingerichtet. Für zwei Personen gibt es nur einen Sessel und keinen Tisch. Die Schiebetüren des Kleiderschrankes waren defekt und wurden trotz mehrerer Anfragen bis zum Schluss (6 Tage) nicht in Stand gesetzt.
Das Frühstück wird auf dem Zimmer serviert auf einem kleinen Tablett mit immer dem gleichen Angebot:
zwei Brötchen, Milch im Tetrapak, ebenso Eistee. Marmelade, Butter und das meiste verpackt. Dazu gibt es Plastik-Besteck und keine Teller. Insgesamt kein Genuss.

Nous étions un couple et un ado. 3 couchages collés dans une pièce de 12 m2 c’etait vraiment juste pour se bouger. Heureusement nous avions la douche et WC attenant à la chambre. La fenêtre donnait derrière la rue de la place figueiras... heureusement !!! Prévoir boulquies et espèces pour paiement. Petit dej correct (pomme, ice-cream, pain, madeleine, café, lait).
Le logement est très bien situé. Métro Rossio au pied, la gare pour Sintra à 5 mn, départ tramway 28 tout près, resto etc....

Séduit par l'emplacement, mais tout y est nul :
Entrée par l'échoppe d'un fleuriste, réception lamentable au 2ième étage de l'immeuble
Mauvais entretien général
Réparations bon marché \"ni fait ni à faire\". Tout à l'économie
Nous avons du mettre le sommier du lit d'un enfant contre le mur et poser le matelas à terre (grincements du sommier métallique)
Chambre bruyante (par place extérieure)
Dortoir de trois lits alignés
Pas de climatisation
Impossible de dormir ! Et cher pour la maigre prestation.
Nous ne sommes pas difficiles, mais là on se fout du monde...

Det er en rimelig prisklasse, pensjonatet ligger veldig sentralt, på den måten helt ok. Vi var noe betenkt med brannforskrifter, oppe i 4 etasje vanskelig med rømning. Ellers var det veldig lytt.

Lisbon a nice city

The best thing about this hotel is the location.
I had booked a double room with balcony and a view to the city.
No such room was available upon check in ???
Was offered a double room facing a back ally - no compensation in price though.

風に吹かれて

初めてのリスボンなので、分かりやすい場所の宿を選んだ。地下鉄ロシオ駅そばで、フィゲイラ広場に面しているため、簡単にたどり着けた。建物の壁にも宿の名前があるが・・・１階部分はお店ばかり。フロントは３階とのことなので入口を探すが分からない。建物の壁の住所地番を頼りに・・・間口の狭い花屋の前で思案したものの、ままよとばかりに中に入ると階段及びエレベーターがあった。夕方、花屋が店じまいをするとそこは通路だと分かるが、日中、初めての人はまさかここが宿の入口だと気付く人は少ないのではないか（笑）
部屋は広場に面していたため、テージョ川沿いから前の広場まで、通り伝いに吹いてくる風が心地良い。ただ、空調などは見当たらないので、夏はどうするのだろうか？６月は窓を開けるとまだ快適だったけど。
チェックインの際に、朝食はどこかと尋ねると、部屋に持ってくるとのことで、何時にするかと逆に確認された。朝食はパンにコーヒー、チーズにリンゴにヨーグルトと、いたってシンプルだが、まぁこんなものかとも思う。二日目以降は、なんだかソワソワしながら待っていた（笑）
最初は、なんという宿かと思ったが、４泊したので、最後にはリスボンで間借りして住んでいるような感じで、案外楽しめた。
交通の便も良く、近くに食事場所やスーパーなどもあり、費用も含めて、数日過ごす頃には馴染んでくる宿である。
