Clean room - modern. Very comfortable bed and pillows that best pillows I've had all trip (not too puffy). Unfortunately the smell from the bathroom plumbing was very unpleasant. We opened a window to help get rid of the smell, but that wasn't possible in our second room.

The hotel is close to many areas of interest - a short walk to historic sites, excellent restaurants, the train station and many shops.
Cost of stay is very reasonable. Staff at the front desk are very knowledgeable regarding best restaurants nearby and directions upon request.

Hotels in other European countries that I have recently visited (i.e. Italy, Spain, United Kingdom) offered simple but complimentary breakfast options. At MyStoryTejo you can only get a buffet style breakfast for a fee (10 euros pre-booked, 15 euros same day). I don't know if this is peculiar to the MyStory chain or to Portuguese hotels in general.

If you require a card key to enter your room, why must you also use it to turn on the lights?

My husband and I stayed at My Story Hotel Tejo during a recent trip to Lisbon. The hotel was in a very central location, close to restaurants, sightseeing and Rossio Train station. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff at the front desk were very helpful.

Great safe very clean comfortable hotel right in the city center close to shopping and dinner. A/c works great and hotel smells good. Did not get the budget breakfast but it’s 10$ a day if you pre order it. Room was very small but the shower and bed were great and had a small fridge. Would recommend

Great location, clean hotel and helpful service. The breakfast is $10 euros (pay the day before) and is worth it, but they do charge the same amount for children which I don’t think is worth it. There should be 2 charges for breakfast for adults vs kids.

Just outside the hotel door there is a small shop with groceries and a cheap yummy Indian/falafel restaurant.

Property is located in a safe area but streets are on an incline & there are steps to enter the hotel, some very steep & high.
We had a situation with the shower doors they got stuck & we were able to get out because someone else was in the room & was able to force the glass doors open

Location is perfect steps from public / tour buses. Rooms exceptionally clean, met all needs. Beds very comfortable and staff wonderful. The only negative was that our and some rooms have no view. Ours had a balcony but facing a cement wall and construction scaffolding. Staff offered another room next days but would have to repack and wait for 3 o’clock check in which would have interrupted touring time. This hotel has no outside patio /seating area. Overall great place

We initially reserved our room for two nights, not being sure of our travel plans. We requested an extension for more nights. The hotel staff were very helpful in securing our extended stay. The front desk were very accommodating to the changes in our plans. The staff in the restaurant were polite and always provided good service. We loved its location and we had a roomy twin bed dormer room. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Staff was great at booking airport ride and addressing any requests. The one downside was the air conditioning was only controlled by calling the desk, which we had to do several times during the night as it was just too warm. Other than that.. loved our stay there’

I had stayed at this hotel previously three times, unfortunately this last time someone in the front desk gave other people access to my room & they walked in in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. Picturesque hotel in a great location

Picturesque hotel in a great location to explore Lisbon on foot.
Friendly staff, unusual way of finding the rooms due to multiple, historical buildings making up the hotel.
Room was small but comfy and it had a great view of the city.
Small lifts can be a challenge when you are packing a lot of luggage but this is pretty much the case anywhere in historical parts of European cities.

We received a room with a balcony that overlooked one of the main streets. It was a comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It is in a great location, right around the corner from Tram 28 and also just a 10-minute walk to the river through the main shopping area of Lisbon. Highly recommend it, great value!

Another good My Storey Hotel

The location was great. Easy access to good dining and tram, bus ,taxis & tuk-tuks. Good room with comfortable bed & big bathroom.

Highly recommended!

Location was speculation. . .close to restaurants, museums, everything! Room was fine, small but very comfortable bed and great shower. A great value for the price. Would definitely come back again.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location in the Baixa district. Close to Alfama, Cais do Sodre, Graca etc. Clean room, comfortable bed. Good wifi and shower.

Fabulous!!! Beautiful sound proof room in the heart of Lisbon. Within walking distance of so many sights. View of the castle from our room. Tram, metro, trolly and bus stops nearby. This was the perfect hotel and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay in the middle of old Lisbon

Great location! $12 euros from the airport by taxi. Near metro, train stations to sintra and the trolley lines . In the middle of all the old Lisbon, walking distance to everything. Great walk down rua de oro and uphill to praca de cameus . Hundreds of esa tyrants and cafes to Shiite from . As advertised the placed is renovated, nice new rooms and bathrooms. A place to stay comfortably but but to hang out as I assume one wants to be out. Easy access to the trolley 28 that take you all around the old Lisbon. The front desk folks were great and helpful. I was Covid tested for free at uni labs portable place around the córner. They emailed results within two hours.I needed the test to go to Madrid and return to the States . 80% of Portugal is vaccinated and they wear masks everywhere .

Ok for a short stay

This hotel is part of a larger chain of properties within the same area. The location is really good to move around in central Lisbon. I found the room on the small side and a bit claustrophobic. Depending on the room you get, you might need to take 2 elevators and walk along endless corridors. But for a short stay I’d say the price/quality ratio is just about right.

Excellent location, great staff, clean

It was very clean and the rooms were recently renovated. Staff was very friendly and they even have complimentary digital scales to offer you for your luggage.


It is in a very central location a minute walk from Rossio station and in a safe and well lit and lively area.

We only stayed 1 night and did not have the breakfast since our flight was early morning. But overall favourite hotel I stayed in Portugal. Walking distance, centrally located, clean with friendly staff. I will definitely book them again for my next stay.

Awesome value

I really liked that it was centrally located and easily walkable to wherever you want to go. Right by Rossio Metro station but never used metro during my stay. Extremely clean and took Covid very seriously. Very cute rooms and priced very well. Will be back to Lisbon in years to come and will definitely stay here again.

Hotel Mostly favorable towards younger crowd. Most of the Staff were younger and not to receptive to the needs of the older hotel guess. My partner and I checked into our room and notice that there was only one chair in the room. As Senior Citizens we found that it was rather difficult one of us to be sitting on the bed while the other in the chair. We went to the front desk and requested if we could have another chair place in the room. Never received a response. Stay 5 days without any reply to our request. The owner of Seaside shoes should look into the needs of the guess.
