Really great location with friendly staff. The spa was a nice added extra. Really appreciated the mini bar and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. Only issue we had was that we had to ask to have our room cleaned every day which was a bit of a nuisance.

The staff are approachable and the rooftop restaurant views are nice and it’s very close to many shops and attractions. This hotel is not a 4 star however, it’s more of a 2 at most a 3. The spa is tiny and has the very basics, breakfast was ok, room is average and fitness gym isn’t really one (equipment is terrible). There was a roach in my room, and the staff immediately changed my room the next day but they didn’t offer to reimburse me for the night which was disappointing- I didn’t ask but I think they should have offered. I also got food poisoning from having dinner at the restaurant, they reimbursed me $40 for the daily breakfast to try to make up for the poor overall experience. I would not say here again.

We loved the location of the Lisboa Pessoa Hotel. It’s right in Chado. 10/10. We had a small car and this hotel has an underground secure parking. We were greeted with the most enthusiasm, and since the hotel wasn’t full, we also received an upgrade to a room with an outdoor patio.
The rooms are small, but clean and updated. Staff was friendly. The restaurant upstairs had delicious food. There were also numerous restaurant options within minutes. The spa and downstairs pool, were a nice bonus. We would 100% stay there again.
Keep in mind that the streets in this area are narrow. A large SUV may not be an ideal option.

We came to this room, desperately seeking a place to stay in the middle of the night after the motel we had stayed in was loud and dirty. It was like an oasis. The staff at the rooftop bar was so kind even though we were late they let us in for a drink. The attendance at the reception were great. The room was clean and there was not much noise even though it’s a Lisbon street. We would definitely stay again. The only unfortunate thing is that the spa folks were running late so I was not able to use the sauna in the morning but otherwise it was a lovely stay.

This is an excellent hotel, very well located in the old town. There are lots of restaurants in the area and it’s above the main shopping area. It is named after one of Portugal’s most famous authors and there is plenty to reflect this in the building. It’s good to see a business take pride in a national literary figure.

The rooftop view is great, and the brunch was excellent. We also tried the spa, which was clean, though it did not have a hot tub or jacuzzi. Overall, highly recommended.

We just finished our stay here for the first leg of our honeymoon. It was perfect. The staff was great, and the rooftop restaurant/bar was amazing. A full view of the city with an espresso martini or aperol spritz in hand. We were pretty much in the center of everything. Would highly recommend.

Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Spa area is amazing! The location is great and the views from the rooftop bar is tremendous. Also nice to have the free mini bar with a beer, some water and some soft drinks. Great after a hot day! We were there with family to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary, and the hotel gave us two bottles of fizz and a beautiful selection of cakes. Really thoughtful touch.
