Each loft was decorated tapping into the owner's private art collection and temporary displays often adorn the property's public areas.

Joao and the entire team was outstanding. They made our time is Lisbon perfect and their communication prior and during our stay made things extreme easy. They had great recommendations for places to eat and see and ensured we had everything in our room we needed. They also went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. The location is in heart of the nightlife of Lisbon but we barely heard any noise despite being on the 2nd floor.

We’ve traveled a lot, but this hotel is by far our favorite. Every detail was clearly thought out — from the charming wall decorations and delicious fig and pumpkin jams to the cozy slippers. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with one full bathroom, two half-bathrooms, and a small kitchen area that included a refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven.
Most of all, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Iride, in particular, made me feel like she was a sister taking care of me and my family with such warmth and attention. After spending a couple of nights here, we continued our trip to Cádiz for two weeks — and I truly missed both the hotel and Iride. We’re happy to be back for a few more nights, and we look forward to returning in the future. I highly recommend staying here!

The people at this property are the most welcoming and helpful that anyone could ever hope for. The complimentary breakfast was really good and there are tons of restaurants and bars. It can get loud at night from all of the bars in the surrounding streets but it didn't keep us from sleeping.

The staff that work here are exceptional. Friendly, helpful and make you feel like an honoured guest. The property itself is beautiful - unique, industrial/artsy eclectic decor, very clean. We had a massive suite with a great little kitchen (with dishwasher) and what turned out to be 3 bathrooms (two 1/2 baths and a 3rd sink/shower combo). King size bed that was very comfortable, great seating. Breakfast was included daily and it’s quite the spread with delicious espresso based drinks and fresh squeezed juices. Seriously some of the best OJ I’ve ever had. Location is very central and everything is within walking distance. Now for what could be a negative depending on your needs - the hotel is in the center of the action which is great during the daytime, but be aware that at night it gets extremely noisy and with thin windows you will be hearing yelling and partying till about 5 am, every day pretty much. This isn’t minor noise, it’s extreme as people party in the streets and those streets are directly under you. If that doesn’t bother you, bring a speaker and play your own music to drown out some of it or go join them ;) While location is convenient, be aware that Uber will not drop off/pick up from the hotel. You’ll have to access it a block over so expect to lug your suitcases, but it’s only a short trek. This is Lisbon, it’s hilly and it’s all cobblestones so wear appropriate footwear as the streets in the area can get treacherous. Noise aside, we loved our stay here.

Rooms are very spacious and modern, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Design/decor of hotel is very eclectic and stands out compared to cookie-cutter chain hotels. Neighbourhood is very unique and central to all areas of the old city, with great connections to public transit, etc. We would definitely go back to Lisbon and would definitely stay at Raw Culture again.

The hotel is really nice and well located. However if you get there by car, make sure to let the hotel know in advance. The hotel is on a restricted area so you can’t get there by car unless they provide you with a code. You have to park in a public parking 2 blocks away.

Overall, our room was quite large but a little inefficient. There were three of us and the third bed was very small and was adjacent to the larger bed. I felt this bed could be moved away to a different part of the room instead of a couch and chairs. Staff was excellent and this breakfast was delicious. I was a little misled that I thought transportation to the airport was free, but it wasn't. No big deal. A little confusion that I thought we would get free bottles of water and a free bottle of wine each night, but that might have been my misunderstanding. Many great restaurants right near by. Concierge got us reservation at nearby restaurant A Severa for Fado music. Very enjoyable! Overall, a very nice hotel!

They serve tasty cocktails at the bar and we looked forward to breakfast every morning - always a large variety of fresh fruits, juices, croissants, pastries etc. and you could order eggs, avocado toast and your coffee that they prepare fresh for you. Our room was very clean and spacious with a comfy seating area as well as a full kitchen and two bathrooms. Such a unique property with the decor and artwork - already hope to return one day!

Raw Culture exceeded our expectations in every way, The room was amazing and clean. The bed was just like home. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning with really good music for background. The decor were so fun and tastefully done. It is centrally located so it was easy to go any and everywhere. The staff were so helpful, knowledgable and friendly. It was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our Portugal excursion. We will be back for sure.

Our room was large, spacious and was a great place to recharge. Each room is slightly different in decor and size (we had a suite with 2 toilet rooms, a shower room, full kitchen and large living room / dining area along with a good sized bed).
We even received a few little welcome gifts (water, small port wine, and chocolates). This was a nice touch!
The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had with the best croissants and bread, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, sweets (which included a top notch Pastel de nata) and we were able to order eggs/omlettes and great cappucinos. In the afternoon, they have a bar (that's also open to the public) with some great speciality cocktails along with the regular fare.
We will definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to others planning to visit Lisbon.

Great accommodations in the center of everything in Lisbon. The fantastic staff made our stay even more pleasant and memorable. They were so friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. The bartender offered the most authentic bar conversation along with delicious drinks (don't miss those if staying here!) The front desk packed us breakfast to go knowing we had to leave early for the airport. We were sad we only had 1 night there. Will definitely stay there again if/when we return to Lisbon. This is an awesome hotel. The entire space is beautifully decorated. The rooms were also well decorated, very spacious and clean - more than enough our family to be comfortable. And as amazing as the place is by itself, the staff were among the nicest people we met on our trip through Portugal. They really tried to go out of their way to make us feel welcome. For example, when they found out we'd be leaving early for our flight, they offered to make us breakfast to-go boxes. Their breakfast was delicious and hot food was made the order - it's not to be missed. The bar also has a very cool atmosphere, and the bartenders make awesome cocktails. It's a great place to hang out. I'd definitely come back here again.

This is truly a hidden gem of a place in Lisbon. It made all the difference for me and my wife. Its location is excellent as it is in the heart of the most happening place in Lisbon. Ask for a room on the quiet side. The room we got was absolutely divine with retro yet comfortable furniture. The bed was one of the best I have slept in. Morning breakfast was fabulous. Made our trip truly memorable. Most remarkable was the service which was extraordinary. Everyone stepped up to provide personal service including recommending places to visit and dine.

What an awesome place to stay. We went to Lisbon the first time with a 2 teenagers. Stayed there in a larger size loft. 2.5 bath and a kitchen to use. Everyone had their space. The place is really convenience located in the central of everything. \"NY east village\" style bar district around the corner. Plenty of restaurants within walking distant (10-15 mins) to Rossio, Pink Street, TimeOut Market... All staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Our room on the 3rd floor was vast, furnished with carefully curated Danish Design furniture, high-end toiletries, and fabulous bedding.
From the room to the lounge and reception area we were surprised with a meticulously curated collection of art, furniture, books, lighting, and even vintage bikes!
It is not just a high-end hotel, it is an art gallery you can stay in and feel immersed in the experience which for us was a really unique element to our stay.
Location-wise, you are at the heart of Barrio Alto, which has great restaurants and bars in close proximity. It is very quiet during the day, and even if the cobbled streets are busy at night, the rooms have a double set of windows, each one with acoustic double glazing and sound-deadening thick fabric curtains; so basically we could sleep perfectly without being disturbed as the soundproofing of the room is top-notch.
Breakfast was great too, and on our last day we had it delivered to our room, so we enjoyed it on the balcony overlooking the old streets of the neighborhood.

The loft was very clean, one of the highlights. The rooms can be a little noisy from the street parties, make sure both sets of windows are closed to help insulate the space. The location is fairly central. Over all it is a unique and pleasant hotel.

Bairro Alto has a lively nightlife scene, but the windows have two sets of glass shutters plus additional interior wooden shutters. When all closed it was very quiet and no light leaked into the room. We had a great stay!

I've traveled in Europe previously and was always underwhelmed by amenities---not the case here!! Our last day we had to check out at 4 am and they had breakfast set out and waiting for us when we came down! Truly- this was the best vacation we've ever had and we would highly, highly recommend Expedia and Raw Culture Arts & Lofts.
