Great location and clean apartment. My challenges were checking in. I had registered and paid the visitor tax days in advance but not heard anything back. 20min before my check in i found someone to help me call their number since my phone wasnt working. Only then was the check in code sent to me. I probably wouldnt stay here again since the check in was stressful.

Good location for sightseeing. Building had an elevator but there were still some stairs in the building.
Check in was at another location and I decided to take an Uber rather than walk with my luggage.
The room great and modern. I loved staying here.

Brilliantly located in heart of city for restaurants and transport connection. Our room was very well equipped and well serviced each day. The complimentary wine in the bibliotheque was a much appreciated touch. Would very happily use again. Only gripe is that access code was provided only moments before we were due to check in. This undermined confidence that all would go smoothly - could the code be advised the day before so that the guest travels with confidence. Otherwise all the advance processes were very smooth thank you.

This hotel was amazing. It was comfortable, clean, had amazing staff. It's true that there's no front desk, but if you read the instructions before, there won't be a problem for check in.
The hotel was well located, had great coffee in the room, and amazing cute little library on the second floor with a vintage vibe that I loved.
It was a perfect location as you are in the center of Lisbon and everything is accessible walking distance.
I would come back anytime :)

Check in was at another hotel, a 10min walk from our hotel. The staff were so incredibly hospitable. We were offered complimentary breakfast which was outstanding for 2 reasons the food options hit and cold foods with amazing selection, and the dining area, the building is an old palace and the rooms are so beautiful. There was live music plying during breakfast it was a much needed break after a long day of traveling.
The doorman I didn’t catch his name was beyond gracious and helped us get an early check in, as it was a rough travel day and we had needed so extra rest! The BEST hotel we stayed in for beauty charm and service. Our rooms when we entered made us feel like royalty, had a bottled water and a coffee maker to start the day, along with soap and lotions.

Beautiful large room that can be used as an apartment. Very elegant design with elevator access. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we would’ve stayed the entire two nights there. Thank you to the friendly staff and cleaning crew. We will stay again.

It does not have onsite parking like it states. Parking garge close by byt 22.70 euro per 8 hours otherwise others are cheaper but fairly long walk. Hotel itself is lovely and great location and staff was great

The check-in process is at a hotel ten minutes from the apartment. This was relatively inconvenient and should have been made more clear at the time of booking. This neighborhood is nice, but incredibly noisy. I would not recommend staying here.

Disappointing stay

Let’s start with the positive. Its location was great, unfortunately the room itself was very disappointing. Everything inside was extremely small. The bed was so small that we had to only sleep on our sides or we’d fall out of bed. On one side of the bed, it was very tight to walk around. The bathroom was very cramped & it had one of those capsule enclosed showers & was so small that you could only wash by just turning around. Don’t even attempt bend down to try & wash your feet. The decor was old & worn. The kitchen only had some crockery & a few knives & forks but it did have a small microwave, kettle & fridge. I think it was quite expensive for what you actually got. Parking was also very expensive & you really had to organise that yourself.

Superb place in central Lisbon. This place looked like it could have accommodated several people. It was beautifully furnished, had a small kitchen area. I would stay here again.

the place in an unbeatable location, but very noisy, you can hear absolutely everything, both what happens on the street and inside, I could barely rest calmly.
Apparently there is no respect for the client either, on the second day it seems they had to do a repair, around eight in the morning a lot of hammering and auger noise. I know that if it has to be fixed there to do it, but at that time?

good location and fairly comfortable

Location is very good - close to many major sites. Two complaints... my wife hated the kitchen. Very few utensils, only frying pan was a wok.

Only 1 room had air conditioning, which made the upper 2 loft beds in the other room too warm. The beds are about 10 feet above the floor, so the cold air doesn't make it up there.

No soap was provided in the bathroom.

Amazing staff, very welcoming and helpful. Room was perfectly located in the heart of the city and easy to go in/out. The only negative is that two of the beds were lofted and the ladders were somewhat slippery to climb up at night. All in all, it was a great place to stay and we'll certainly visit Lisbon and Solar dos Poetas again.

The check-in team was fantastic. Reception is located 10 minutes away, but they were extremely friendly and accommodating and gave us a free ride to the apartment so we didn't have to drag our luggage around the city. The apartment is in an old, historic building right in the center of Baixa and has more of a traditional, rustic decor. The furnishings are eclectic and there are some nice touches like the traditional Portuguese tiled floor in the entrance way. The kitchen was old and lacking some basics, but the bathroom had been updated and the shower was clean and hot, no complaints there. They supplied a good hair dryer and the A/C was sufficient (and it was 100+ outside). We could not get the TV working, however, and the WiFi was weak (owing to the very thick walls in the building). The setup could be challenging for some - there's a main bedroom with a double bed and then two sleeping lofts containing a total of 3 twin beds. These would not be suitable for very small children or older people as the stairs to access the loft are quite steep. However, my children (ages 6 & 9) did just fine with them. The loft setup means there is a general lack of privacy. Overall, this was an interesting place to stay and a good value for the price, but the setup will only suit a particular type of group. It was good for a short stay. The location is fantastic.

Nice apartment close to all the sights

Nice little apartment in old town within walking distance to all sights. Apartment is at different location from main hotel, so check in and key pick up is there but is close. We had early check out and we were able to leave key rather than run it back. Staff was friendly, helpful, and left us homemade treats. Only complaints: shower is tiny and we wished for a welcome book that had instructions for things like thermostat, TV, etc.

Great location, both the apartment and main office. Easy to access from the subway. The front desk was extremely helpful. There was an issue when we were checking in. The girls at the front desk did the best they could to try and make us comfortable while we waited. Overall, a decent place to stay for the price.

Pictures are deceiving

This is not a hotel, but more of a spread-out apartments in different places without a lobby or dedicated staff. The rooms look nothing like the pictures as they are small and feel more like camping. You can hardly fit into the bathroom and the shower door can hardly contain your body.

family of 5 friendly hotel

Great place to stay for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and child). Centrally located in downtown Lisbon. The meal included was a buffet breakfast and was awesome! We all loved it.
The beds were comfortable and the place was generally quiet.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

Horrible service. The process of checking in was almost two hours. The check in counter and breakfast are 30 minutes walk from the apartments. The phone was out of order and you could not communicate with the reception staff. The tv is super small and not working but you can't call the reception to fix it because they are on different location.

Great option for Lisbon.

Warm reception at the hotel where you check in. The apartment is a 10 minute walk away, but the hotel provided a ride to apartment. Very nice place with small kitchenette in the heart of many restaurants. Breakfast included at the hotel was excellent. I would highly recommend for small family. Loft beds are a bit high, so probably not best for small children.

Rustic room in great location

The room is in a very old and unique building. Close to the river and city center. The main issue is that the hotel staff and reception are in a separate building almost a mile away, making check in and check out difficult. The shower was small and needs repair. But if you're looking for a very unique and interesting room in a central location, this is a good find.

レンタルバケーションなので、ホテル表記は間違い。それにしても高い。初心者は止めたほうがよい。冷蔵庫が貧弱で冷えない。エアコンは1台で二部屋を使うため、真夏は難しい。近くで朝から工事があり、とてもうるさかった。
ロケーションがよいことが救い。次はロシオ駅近く又はカレイドソレド駅近くで『ホテル』に泊まりたい。

Ingen parking og de kan ikke hjælpe med det. De henviser bare til alm. parking. Indtjekning er ret dårligt. Det er self-service - ingen reception.
Når det så er sagt så er værelserne virkelig charmerende. Vi havde et værelse hvor at der ikke var håndvask på badeværelse, men kun i stuen. Lidt mærkeligt og der var ikke noget håndsæbe. Kun bodywash og shampoo.
Der var et uheld på vores værelse, så vi fik et mindre værelse. Vi blev kun kompenseret for prisforskellen og ikke yderligere. Det var lidt sløjt synes jeg, når de ikke kan levere det vi har booket.

Värt trots förvirrad incheckning

Incheckningen var otroligt förvirrande. Rummet ligger in på en central gata där det inte är några större butiker mitt i centrum. Trodde först att jag gått fel. Sen visade det sig att man måste gå till ett annat hotell 15 min därifrån för att checka in. Inte alls optimalt! Men personalen var trevlig och jag fick vila där. När jag sedan checkade un var rummet och läget över förväntan. Skulle rekommendera att boka Bolt istället för hotellets egna erbjudande på transfer till flygplatsen. Mycket nöjd efter en lite förvirrad och smått irriterande incheckning.

No era lo que esperaba

Parece más un Air B n B que un hotel.
El sitio es céntrico y está muy bien de acabos, se ve que se ha remodelado hace poco tiempo. El inconveniente ha sido que: El check inlo hice en un hotel a 10 minutos andando del establecimiento en si y con calles bastante empinadas que al arrastrar una maleta de cabina no fue muy agradable.
En segundo lugar (y esto no tienen nada que ver con el alojamiento) a 50 metros de la fachada de mi habitación estaban rehabilitando otro hotel y los días que he estado desde las 06:00 de la mañana estaban tirando escombros de un derrumbe en un contenedor y esto me ha despertado los dos días.
Por último las escaleras son muy empinadas, como en todos los edificios históricos y lleno de medias plantas.

Our experience

The location of the hotel is in the midst of Lissabon. If you want to be close to everything and want a nightlife it’s perfect, if not, it gives you a sleepless night because it’s very much noise from the street even in the night. The room is nice and it’s a nice style, but it’s very small, which I realized when I arrived with my luggage. The rooms are clean and the beds comfort.... the reception is around 10 min walk from the hotel, but when you checked in you get a taxi to the hotel. Because of corona it was no breakfast served which they told us when we checked in.

Mahtavalla paikalla, mutta ravintoloiden terassit aivan ikkunoiden alapuolella. Jos hiljaisuutta kaipaa, kannattaa valita toinen hotelli . Hyvät sängyt. Keittiö oli todella minivarustettu.
Aamupala samass paikassa, kun sisäänkirjautuminen. Erittäin runsas ja hyvä, varsinkin makea osuus. Tilat kuitenkin pienet ja ajoittain oli jonoa.
Kaiken kaikkea mielyttävä kokemus.

Appartement situé au dessus d'une artère piétonne donc bruyante le soir.
Accueil de l'hôtel et l'appartement situé à deux endroits différents: compliqué pour le transfert depuis l'aéroport.
Très bon petit déjeuner à l'Hôtel après 8 minutes de marche
