We loved this hotel, cute atmosphere and very comfortable. The staff at this hotel was exceptional , they were welcoming , super helpful in giving us ideas of places to visit and enjoy the city. Gave us great recos for local restaurants and made a point to check in with us to see how we were enjoying our time .

Second time staying at this hotel in 3 years. We loved how quiet it was, and the great location. Breakfast is lovely, with some hot options and the breakfast staff are great. The room was huge, as was the bed.

Last time we were there in 2024, as the hotel doesn’t have a bar, there were complimentary drinks available for guests between 5-7pm which we thought was a lovely touch. We were told they have now stopped doing this which is a shame.

Great location, quaint hotel with good helpful staff but the room was very small, we picked a room with a walk out terrace thinking it would give us more space, it did not.
Small room with a bed, one chair and no table.
Bathroom was very small along with the shower and the exhaust fan was super noisy.

This was a truly wonderful stay for me. The staff were the most friendly people and I really enjoyed talking with them. The room was comfy and spacious and the hotel had an old charm feel but still felt very modern. I was very comfortable in my room and at the hotel. The room also had air conditioning which was a nice plus. I will definitely stay here again whenever I am back in Lisbon. I highly reccomendations!

I was not happy with the hotel neighborhood. Parking is extremely difficult. Breakfast area did not look very inviting. Room was clean but did not feel inviting and any food from outside was not allowed in the room. We left the hotel on the same day we checked in. I tried to contact the hotel management for a refund but there was no response.

A fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Great location - the neighborhood is perfect with many nice restaurants and adjacent to the more touristy busy areas. Everything was clean, the room was spacious, and the staff were friendly and professional. The daily breakfasts were fresh and delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

Front desk staff was super helpful with daily suggestions as to what to do and see. They even set up a car transport to and from airport.

Room was wonderful, save the lock on the door…pretty difficult to figure out. Tessa, the reception manager was truly amazing. Very helpful with directions and made us feel most welcome. Breakfast was very good with a wide assortment of breads. We are planning on returning to Lisbon and would definitely stay here again.

The location is awesome, rooms and common areas are clean (but not as shown on Expedia), my partner and I are in our late 60’s and we were given a room on the 3rd floor. Office was on 0 so that left 4 flights of stairs to carry luggage. There was also an elevator that went from 1st floor to 2nd, so up a flight of stairs to 1st floor and you had to walk your bags around a couple corners then the small elevator went from 1-2nd floor you then went back around a few corners and climbed up several flights of stairs to 3rd floor. It was extremely inconvenient and painful for us to manage our own bags. After storing our bags the 1st afternoon we did find our bags in the room. We assumed there would be help upon departure but there wasn’t. The petit desk gal was willing to help - but she had to watch desk and really wasn’t too much help. She was the only real helpful polite and considerate person we found at the often unstaffed desk. When we arrived it took 10 minutes at least for someone to come open front door. Breakfast started at 8 which is a bit late for tourists. In order to make tour we wanted coffee at 7:40. There was nothing available from breakfast and no coffee service even when we brought our own coffee. There were no takeaway cups. I would never go back. We paid for a 2 room suite with patio and view. It had a TV room with small hard couch, a bathroom in the middle and 2 twin beds in adjoining rooms. We thought beds were separate.

Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was not very helpful. We noticed at checkout others received a more welcome introduction when they checked in. The layout of the entrance was inconvenient as there were stairs to get to the small elevator. While we waited in the lobby for our flight, the front desk staff ignored us and don’t offer us any assistance.

This was my second stay at Dear Lisbon, my first was 4 years ago just as the world was emerging from the pandemic. On both visits, the staff was super friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

The hotel itself is wonderful. Decor is thoughtful and stylish while still feeling warm and comfortable. The lobby room is large and comfy— great if you need to wait a bit for your room to be available but too jet lagged to do more than sit and relax. Breakfast is ample with plenty to choose from and variety from day to day. My husband especially loved the variety of juices— guava, mango, papaya— on offer of the course of our stay.

The rooms for both stays were fantastic. Roomy, well-appointed, with a comfy bed. Both times I booked a room with a separate seating and found the couch to be comfy. Everything is very clean. My only suggestion would be better lighting by the bathroom sinks. It wasn’t a big deal for me as I wear minimal make-up, but I can see where others would find it problematic.

All around, Dear Lisbon is my favorite hotel of the many I have stayed in. It is a perfect balance of service, comfort, and convenience all at an excellent price. Don’t hesitate, book your room!

All the staff were friendly and helpful in particular Nadia and Samuel. They went out of their way to make time to assist us with advice and recommendations on places to visit, restaurants and transport and always asked about our day when we returned. The hotel is in a good location with the famous 28 tram stopping in the street outside. Our room was a good size with a roomy shower and bathroom and with a balcony. There is a comfortable lounge and outside patio and the breakfast was tasty, varied and constantly refreshed. There are limited drinks available, no bar as such, but there are numerous places in the immediate locality for food and drink. The hotel is a great base to go exploring the city. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would return.

Staff were extremely helpful and lovely , breakfast was very good. For me i think they could provide more of a bar for the evening. There basically is no bar, although you could get a glass of wine which came out of a box. That said we would return to this hotel again.

The Room could do with a coat hook. The terrace was actually two balconies rather than a terrace, but depends upon what you define as a terrace (I guess). The lift goes up to the second floor.
Very friendly staff.
Room cleaned properly every day.
Decent breakfast.
Good location for evening meals within five mins walk. Central yet away from the main tourist areas.

The hotel was great! We were on the third floor so the elevator only went up to the second floor so we always had to walk the final flight of stairs so after a long day it was kinda hard but the helpful staff and the hotel room made up for it. The bathroom is quite large and the rooms are really clean and our room had a balcony that was great for views and fresh air. Location of the hotel is right near green street that had alot of food choices that are walkable and a food market and cafe a few feet away.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Our room was gorgeous with a separate sitting area, a terrace and the comfiest of beds. Located just a 2 min walk from 'Green Street', a series of narrow streets with restaurants spilling onto the pavement for beautiful al fresco dining. There is a steep climb to get to Bairro Alto but unavoidable in Lisbon. We just stopped en route for brunch at one of the many gorgeous coffee shops!

Just got back from a 5 night stay at Gallery House. Staff were brilliant and extremely helpful, exellent buffet breakfast with a good choice of food. Rooms large with good facilities and furnished to a high standard. Good location close to several bars and restaurants. Tram stop outside the Hotel convenient for travelling into the centre of Lisbon. Would recommend this Hotel and will return again in the future.

The staff were exceptional and so efficient and helpful. They were so welcoming and professional. They welcomed us with a lovely complimentary cappuccino. Tessa gave us great recommendations of places to visit and great suggestion for Tuk tuk tour with the brilliant Antonio which was wonderful as my Mum is 80 years old and can’t walk much. Samuel and all the team were great and helped carry our bags and book our taxi for the airport. The nearby Santelmo restaurant they recommended and booked for us perfect for our first evening there. The property has a lovely interior design and the breakfast was good too. It was so handy that the famous tram 28 was just outside the hotel so we were easily able to get into town ans also the Santos train station was only 12mun walk away enabling us to go to Belem for a lovely afternoon there. All in all a lovely mini break away. Thank you to all the staff at Gallery House Lisbon!!

Great location close to restaurants and shops. Nicely decorated. Tasty, well prepared breakfast. The only downside was that check-in was at 3 pm and they could not make an exception. My daughter had arrived that morning on a red eye flight from the US west coast so of course was exhausted and sleepy. The staff kept encouraging her to leave the hotel lobby to sight see but she really needed to shower and nap. This made for a less than ideal start to our trip. Many hotels have an afternoon check-in time but most find a room for those who arrive early, especially on long flights. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

Highly recommended hotel! Location was good for getting to the various tourist spots - there’s a tram stop just outside and Ubers are really easy to get and not expensive.

The rooms were immaculate. We had a room facing to road and expected it to be noisy - it wasn’t. Yes you can hear a passing tram when they’re running but they stop at a reasonable time. Breakfast was excellent and varied a little bit each day.

Honestly couldn’t fault it as a choice of hotel. Lisbon is an excellent city break - definitely take a trip to Sintra for a day, trains are easy and frequent.

This is a beautiful hotel, very clean, large rooms, comfy beds and a great bathtoom with everything you need. The breakfasts were fabulous, served from 8am. We found the hotel to be quite central and the old tram 28 stops right outside.
The staff are very polite and do all they can to help. We had complimentary drinks on arrival. Check in and out was efficient.
We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Lisbon again. I will recommend to friends who are interested in Lisbon.

If I’m only rating property for its staff it would get a 5 star rating! My biggest complaint about the property is the stinky tenant with the barking dog. You smell the stench of unwashed dog the moment you enter the hotel. And it raidiates through the stair well. My room was very nice but housekeeping would turn off AC each day so when I came back from a hot sweaty outing I’d have to cool down room.

Staff are excellent and provide a warm welcome. The hotel is friendly and the amenities are what you would expect. Location is good but wouldn't suit people that find a 20 to 30 minutes walk into the city centre . Public transport ( trams stop outside the hotel ) but are difficult to get on in high season.

Super friendly staff. Room is simple and clean. Street noise on 1st floor required windows to be shut and the thermostat was off not allowing to simply run the fan. Great location and landing spot while visiting Lisbon.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located in a walkable distance to the main the points and tram 28 to explore the old town. The receptionists in this hotel are so friendly and catering, they have a lot of time for you and very engaging. The breakfast is continental and varied on both the days during our stay. Overall i recommend this hotel.
