This was my second stay at Dear Lisbon, my first was 4 years ago just as the world was emerging from the pandemic. On both visits, the staff was super friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

The hotel itself is wonderful. Decor is thoughtful and stylish while still feeling warm and comfortable. The lobby room is large and comfy— great if you need to wait a bit for your room to be available but too jet lagged to do more than sit and relax. Breakfast is ample with plenty to choose from and variety from day to day. My husband especially loved the variety of juices— guava, mango, papaya— on offer of the course of our stay.

The rooms for both stays were fantastic. Roomy, well-appointed, with a comfy bed. Both times I booked a room with a separate seating and found the couch to be comfy. Everything is very clean. My only suggestion would be better lighting by the bathroom sinks. It wasn’t a big deal for me as I wear minimal make-up, but I can see where others would find it problematic.

All around, Dear Lisbon is my favorite hotel of the many I have stayed in. It is a perfect balance of service, comfort, and convenience all at an excellent price. Don’t hesitate, book your room!

All the staff were friendly and helpful in particular Nadia and Samuel. They went out of their way to make time to assist us with advice and recommendations on places to visit, restaurants and transport and always asked about our day when we returned. The hotel is in a good location with the famous 28 tram stopping in the street outside. Our room was a good size with a roomy shower and bathroom and with a balcony. There is a comfortable lounge and outside patio and the breakfast was tasty, varied and constantly refreshed. There are limited drinks available, no bar as such, but there are numerous places in the immediate locality for food and drink. The hotel is a great base to go exploring the city. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would return.

Staff were extremely helpful and lovely , breakfast was very good. For me i think they could provide more of a bar for the evening. There basically is no bar, although you could get a glass of wine which came out of a box. That said we would return to this hotel again.

The Room could do with a coat hook. The terrace was actually two balconies rather than a terrace, but depends upon what you define as a terrace (I guess). The lift goes up to the second floor.

The hotel was great! We were on the third floor so the elevator only went up to the second floor so we always had to walk the final flight of stairs so after a long day it was kinda hard but the helpful staff and the hotel room made up for it. The bathroom is quite large and the rooms are really clean and our room had a balcony that was great for views and fresh air. Location of the hotel is right near green street that had alot of food choices that are walkable and a food market and cafe a few feet away.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Our room was gorgeous with a separate sitting area, a terrace and the comfiest of beds. Located just a 2 min walk from 'Green Street', a series of narrow streets with restaurants spilling onto the pavement for beautiful al fresco dining. There is a steep climb to get to Bairro Alto but unavoidable in Lisbon. We just stopped en route for brunch at one of the many gorgeous coffee shops!

I had such an incredible stay at the Dear Lisbon Gallery House location. Staff was incredibly attentive and hospitable from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. Location is very close to everything and there are great options for food and drinks around the area. Would totally stay here again the next time I’m in Lisbon

Just got back from a 5 night stay at Gallery House. Staff were brilliant and extremely helpful, exellent buffet breakfast with a good choice of food. Rooms large with good facilities and furnished to a high standard. Good location close to several bars and restaurants. Tram stop outside the Hotel convenient for travelling into the centre of Lisbon. Would recommend this Hotel and will return again in the future.

The staff were exceptional and so efficient and helpful. They were so welcoming and professional. They welcomed us with a lovely complimentary cappuccino. Tessa gave us great recommendations of places to visit and great suggestion for Tuk tuk tour with the brilliant Antonio which was wonderful as my Mum is 80 years old and can’t walk much. Samuel and all the team were great and helped carry our bags and book our taxi for the airport. The nearby Santelmo restaurant they recommended and booked for us perfect for our first evening there. The property has a lovely interior design and the breakfast was good too. It was so handy that the famous tram 28 was just outside the hotel so we were easily able to get into town ans also the Santos train station was only 12mun walk away enabling us to go to Belem for a lovely afternoon there. All in all a lovely mini break away. Thank you to all the staff at Gallery House Lisbon!!

Great location close to restaurants and shops. Nicely decorated. Tasty, well prepared breakfast. The only downside was that check-in was at 3 pm and they could not make an exception. My daughter had arrived that morning on a red eye flight from the US west coast so of course was exhausted and sleepy. The staff kept encouraging her to leave the hotel lobby to sight see but she really needed to shower and nap. This made for a less than ideal start to our trip. Many hotels have an afternoon check-in time but most find a room for those who arrive early, especially on long flights. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

Highly recommended hotel! Location was good for getting to the various tourist spots - there’s a tram stop just outside and Ubers are really easy to get and not expensive.

The rooms were immaculate. We had a room facing to road and expected it to be noisy - it wasn’t. Yes you can hear a passing tram when they’re running but they stop at a reasonable time. Breakfast was excellent and varied a little bit each day.

Honestly couldn’t fault it as a choice of hotel. Lisbon is an excellent city break - definitely take a trip to Sintra for a day, trains are easy and frequent.

This is a beautiful hotel, very clean, large rooms, comfy beds and a great bathtoom with everything you need. The breakfasts were fabulous, served from 8am. We found the hotel to be quite central and the old tram 28 stops right outside.
The staff are very polite and do all they can to help. We had complimentary drinks on arrival. Check in and out was efficient.
We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Lisbon again. I will recommend to friends who are interested in Lisbon.

If I’m only rating property for its staff it would get a 5 star rating! My biggest complaint about the property is the stinky tenant with the barking dog. You smell the stench of unwashed dog the moment you enter the hotel. And it raidiates through the stair well. My room was very nice but housekeeping would turn off AC each day so when I came back from a hot sweaty outing I’d have to cool down room.

Such a beautiful hotel with clean, stylish, spacious rooms! The water pressure in the shower was incredible. The hotel staff were truly some of the kindest and most friendly I’ve ever experienced. They were all happy to give recommendations about things to see and places to eat. The breakfast buffet that’s included is wonderful with lots of delicious foods to choose from. We had a fantastic time staying at the Hello Dear Lisbon - Gallery House and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the wonderful ambiance with more to look at and appreciate than your standard hotel. The staff were great and extremely helpful especially Miguel who stood out from a magnificent team comprised of front of house and those behind the scenes. It certainly made our visit to Lisbon memorable and we would love to return. There were some splendid highly rated dining options within a short walking distance as well as excellent transport links for anything further afield. The breakfast was superb with slight changes to what was offered each day and was something we looked forward to after our refreshing sleep.

The hotel is in a good location, breakfast was great and our room was clean and comfortable. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty of options close by. We were disappointed that there is no tea or coffee in the room and restrictions on what is allowed. We understand from the team it was due to new carpets being fitted and spillages on the old, nevertheless, it's a little treat we missed on waking. It's a nice, independent, boutique hotel, with character and a good team.

This is a lovely hotel with incredibly helpful staff - all rooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard and look superb. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff are all super-attentive.

Breakfast is excellent at the hotel but there are many good places to eat all around the hotel, and transport includes a regular small public bus that stops just outside the hotel. It links you to a great range of transport opportunities across the city.

We would definitely stay here again!
