We never got access code 48 hours prior to check in as mentioned in the booking confirmation. Messaged the management several times through Expedia, never received a single response. Only to find out after calling the property (with the help from a local with local number) an hour before check-in that they will let you in once you’re at the property. So if you are tourist with no portuguese number, best of luck figuring out your way in.
On top of that, AC didn’t work. We had to sleep with windows opened because of the summer heat, which didn’t help due to the noise since our room is facing the main road. Called the management, they said they will send a technician the next day to fix it, HA the technician never showed up. The management came to apologize in person, too bad it won’t fix a thing.
Stay away, there are tonnes other options in a better neighborhood with better price. What an absolute joke.

Splendid Lisbon Apartment!

We were in no 41, on the top floor, with a large private terrace with gorgeous views across the city.
From check in to check out, everything worked well.
Not over luxurious but very clean and more than adaquate, and fully equipped.

The apartment was nice but air conditioning was not working from the first day. The staff were rude and said it is central problem. They gave us a fan after 2 days. It is expensive forbthe price they charge. Without AC, you have to open windows and welcome nasty mosquitoes. One of our worst experiences!

BE CAREFUL AT THE TIME OF ONLINE CHECK IN. Their website is not perfect and if you make a mistake, there is no customer service. Everything was fine until I requested a refund, because when I did the check in their website, was not working correctly, and I re-paid for the fees, and after a month, they haven answer me, Expedia, or my credit card. It is a shame that I have to write a bad review por a place because the terrible customer service.

CUIDADO A LA HORA DE PAGAR DURANTE EL CHECK IN ONLINE. Todo estuvo bien, el apto, el ubicación. Pero tengan cuidado en el website de ellos a la hora de pagar los impuestos al check in porque si se equivocan NO hay forma de conseguir que ellos respondan por su dinero. Yo he pedido la devolución del dinero extra por más de un mes y no me responden ni a mi, ni a expedía, ni a la tarjeta de crédito. Lástima tener que dejar una mala revisión de un sitio por su pesimo servicio al cliente.

Loved the apartment, 3 of us stayed for 3 nights and had a good experience. Walkable to amazing restaurants and breakfast places like cafe monka and others. Tram line is right outside the house. Communication could have been better though, with access code provided over email instead of us having to find someone, use their phone and call them.

Excellent stay

Really comfortable bed and pillows. Lots of appliances, crockery etc We were on the 4th floor which meant we had to go up one flight of stairs as the lift only went to the 3rd floor. This was more than compensated for by the big balcony with sweeping views over Lisbon and lots of seating to enjoy the sunset etc. Only negative was lack of shelving in bathroom and shower.

A bit tired and no privacy

I have stayed in several of the Lisbon Serviced apartments. Santos, principe real, and Baixa. This was by far the most tired of the four I have experienced. This particular stay I was in the accessible room, which I am glad they have for people who need, but I wish I was made aware. I am 5’ 2” so the tall toilet was challenging. My feet dangled which meant I was not able to do #2. The room is right by the front door across from the cleaners room so very noisy and three I left briefly and also put the do not clean sign in my door since the cleaners knocked and opened the door even when I had the sign on my door. They did it so fast I did not have time to respond. So left briefly to get some water and while I was away they put mop heads in my washing machine to wash which was a bit loud. I needed to get in a call for work, then during my call, I still had the sign on the door they knocked loudly to get the mop heads. I had to stop my call and open the door. It was a bit weird and has put me off from using them again. I have stayed at their apartments over 10x in the last 7 years.

The property was great and the communication prior to arriving was excellent - really easy to find, easy to gain access and in a nice, safe area. The self check-in process was quick and simple.

The apartment itself was clean, spacious and modern with kitchen facilities. The bed was comfy and even though it wasn't too hot in Lisbon, the aircon was appreciated. Check-out was efficient - you scan a QR code on the door in the apartment and fill out a form.

The shower in my apartment was a bit small and the bathroom got wet very easily, but not an issue overall. Although I did not require an accessible apartment, it was adapted for those who would need it.

Good facilities nearby with tram and bus options. If you're looking for a nice breakfast in the morning or brunch, visit Dedes nearby - it's a 5 minute walk away and is fantastic.

I had reservations about how large the space would be considering the low price we paid, but it ended up being amazing value. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Spacious and equipped apartment

Lovely apartment but not sound proofed from the corridor. Some guests were checking out in the wee hours and were very loud and took quite a while before they left which disrupted my sleep. I like that this apartment is spacious and fully equipped with washing machine. What I dislike about it is the apartment I’ve stayed at had air-conditioning issues which made really loud knocking noise that you had to shut it off (happened at least three times and woke me up from sleep).

Estrella appartments - Lisbon

Estrella apoartments are easy reach located in LAPA District of Lisbon. Very easy communication for check in & paying city tax. Apartment is spacious, with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV, ironing board & iron. It also had dishes & cooking utensils. The only drawback was lack of instructions for oven/hob & I was doing a guessing game. It actually worked. Apartment was cleaned daily & fresh towels daily as well. It was also fitted with hairdryer, bodywash, soap & shampoo.
Detergents for hand washing were provided, also for €1.00 dishwasher tablets & laundry tablets.
There are several buses serving the apartment & tram 28 stop is just a stone throw away at Estrella church. In opposite direction about 7 min walk is Santos District with train station, iconic vegetables market, museums of puppets & art antigua & lots of bars, cafes & restaurants.
Next to apartment itself there are 2 supermarkets & 3 cafés next to Estrella church

Checkin was easy. There was someone who assisted us. The room was dated and furniture worn. scuffs on the wall. The curtain was not secured in and fell when we tried to close it. That was easy enough to fix. The drain in the bathroom shower ran slow and flooded the bathroom a bit. The location was good, though.

Pros: The location is great, very quiet apartment, has a lot of useful kitchen utilities in the apartment. Big spacious room. Great coffee shops close by, supermarket walking distance and great park nearby where you can sit and enjoy the warm nights with a glass of wine.

Cons: The bathroom as not good. The shower was not clean when we arrived, it had dirt and previous people’s hair everywhere. The shower would not drain and wasn’t useable. It would take approx 1hr to drain the water and half of it would be on the bathroom floor. There was mould in the shower due to never being cleaned properly. The daily cleaning took a long time. Our room was always done in the afternoon around 4pm (started approx 12pm on the top floor) but all they would do is change the towels and empty the bins. Some days the bed wasn’t made or they leave our bin bags full of rubbish in the middle of the room. It would be easier if they just provided a towel swapping service and restock of bin bags/toilet paper. As the floor was never vacuumed.
We only received 1 dishwasher tablet for 7 night stay. They also have a note stating they will charge you €50 if you leave dirty dishes which was odd due to the state of the bathroom! We purchased our own washing machine detergent as it was cheaper than what they were charging. When you enter the building there is a bad smell. The location was the best part of this accommodation

There’s no parking close by, it’s hard to pick up/drop off due to trolly track right on the middle of the street. Not very accessible to anything. Lack of communication with property owner. I would not recommend the property at all.

Beautiful Apartment (with uncomfortable bed)

The apartment was wonderfully furnished, clean, and very well maintained. The location was a little walk from Rossio and the thick of things, but without luggage, it's not bad. Also there is a tram very close by as well as affordable uber etc. Overall, we loved the place with one exception and unfortunately it had a big impact on the experience: The bed is horribly uncomfortable. It was hard and very tough to get a good night's sleep on it. Because of not sleeping well over several days, we ended up dragging ourselves around with less energy than normal. Also, the bed is very small for two adults. This apartment would be absolutely perfect with a bigger more comfortable bed. Other than that, it's a great space, very clean, well maintained, easy to access, safe, and nicely decorated.

Overall a nice, clean apartment in a good location. You can easily walk to places as its downhill, then either get a tram or uber/bolt back as its all uphill! There are plenty of easily accessible transport links right outside the apartment. The only downfall was the bed - it was not comfy at all, it was like sleeping on a wooden floor.

The room itself was small but efficient and had everything that was needed for my 8 day stay. However trying to get ahold of someone was difficult. There was a very disruptive guest staying there the same time as me and he partied until the early morning every night and taunted all the guests by screaming and yelling up and down the stairs. I’m not sure why they just couldn’t kick him out but it made my stay there extremely uncomfortable.

Functional apartment with little charm. Very easy to communicate problems with management. They were responsive and quickly repaired broken toilet handle and showed us how to use air conditioner. Cleaning team were excellent.

The hotel`s location is ok, but not too close to walking the landmarks even though it says 25-30min (especially everywhere is hilly in Lisbon!). However, a bus/tram stop is quite close to the hotel.

The hotel was clean, but I was thinking that we will have a balcony/teras in the room as we saw in the photos. However, they add all photos at once so be careful.

Our room was also facing the main road so it was noisy. Overall, it is a nice modern apartment, but I would not stay again.

The apartment was so comfortable and clean and the view was amazing. The balcony made it extra special as we could sit out in the sun and relax.

Easy to check in, the building is not located at the centre of Lisbon but easy to go everywhere with bus or tram. Nice restaurants nearby and very convenient to buy groceries at Pingo Doce, just few minutes walk. I’d stay again next time if I travel to Lisbon.

Lovely apartment-close to Basilica Estrella and convenient for tram 28 and buses. Newly renovated and well equipped. Our studio had the bonus of a fantastic terrace. Easy check in with door codes. Would recommend.

La habitación estaba limpia y era muy cercana a lo que se puede apreciar en las fotos. Las indicaciones recibidas por mail fueron correctas para realizar el check-in y check-out. Quizá el único punto de mejora sería el sitio web del check-in que daba algunos problemas, y especificar desde un principio la necesidad de aportar el impuesto municipal. Todo lo demás ha estado acorde a las expectativas.

Unhygienic, poorly maintained and misleading information – stay away!
We stayed here during our holiday and it was extremely disappointing.
The air conditioning didn’t work.
There were blood stains and remains of dead insects on the walls.
The shower was dirty and poorly maintained.
There is no reception desk to help with questions, and nobody answers the phone.
The housekeeping staff do not speak English and are unwilling to help.
Online it is advertised as a 4-star accommodation, but the sign at the entrance clearly shows it is only 3 stars.

Atenção aos detalhes na chegada dos hóspedes.

Tivemos um grande problema na chegada pois o totem para chek in estava off. Ficamos 3h aguardando para poder entrar. Sem comunicação, e sem retorno dos responsáveis. Devido a isso, precisam estar atentos, para auxiliar. Limpeza deixou a desejar. Banheiro com problema no box (vidro). Localização boa, de fácil acesso a qualquer lugar. Acomodação (apartamento) bom, cama boa, internet boa.

Ruim, a porta do banheiro não fechava pois estava empenada pela umidade, a do box do chuveiro também não fechava pois a borracha estava fora do lugar. Estava infestado de pernilongos mesmo com a janela fechada. Camas duras. O resto OK.

Leider hat die Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber gar nicht funktioniert. Die Klimaanlage war defekt und hat nicht richtig funktioniert und war außerdem sehr laut. Wenn wir das Fenster aufgemacht haben, haben uns die Mücken zerfleischt. In der Nacht haben die kakerlaken Party gefeiert. Obwohl wir die Hotline von Expedia angerufen haben, hat sich niemand um das Problem mit der Klimaanlage gekümmert. Wir haben unserer Reise mit viel Enthusiasmus vor 6 Monaten gebucht um uns zu erholen. Leider was diesmal keine Erhöhung möglich. Expedia hat uns keine geeignete Lösung angeboten weil sie sich für unser Problem nicht zuständig fühlte. Das war für uns keine schöne Erfahrung. Expedia ist für uns keine Empfehlung wert.

Ah c'est déçu de notre séjour étant donné le problème que nous avons eu à la réservation qui avait été annulé et que nous avons dû refaire avec 400 € en plus. Avec ce problème là au lieu d'avoir la même chambre ou une chambre similaire à la fois dernière nous avons une chambre en dessous de gamme .

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung. Wird täglich gereinigt, Handtücher werden bei Bedarf täglich neu zur Verfügung gestellt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist fussläufig zu erreichen.
Leider ist es etwas laut, da Fluglärm zu hören ist. Der Flughafen wird bis 24.00 Uhr beflogen und beginnt so ca. 5.30 Uhr.
Check In und Out haben problemlos funktioniert.
Alles in allem sehr schöne Unterkunft um Lissabon zu besuchen.

Abbiamo rischiato di dormire fuori in quanto non era pervenuta la mail del codice per poter entrare dopo aver chiamato la mattina e dandoci informazioni sbagliate ( ci hanno detto di digitare il codice che avevamo nella prenotazione), siamo rimasti fino alle 2 di notte ad aspettare fuori perché nessuno ci rispondeva al telefono; fortunatamente abbiamo chiesto aiuto a due ragazzi fuori che alla fine a forza di insistere al telefono qualcuno ha risposto dando un codice provvisorio ma l’odissea non finisce qui , per farti entrare in stanza bisognava fare il self check-in che non scannerizzava il documento di identità cartaceo per cui dopo averci provato dieci volte abbiamo chiamato l’aiuto al telefono che fortunatamente ci ha risposto ! E’ stato veramente disastroso poter entrare ! Mai più ‘veramente disorganizzati

Positiv war der sehr schöne Park in der Nähe, die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und dass in dem Appartment eine kleine Küche ist inkl Kühlschrank und Herdplatte.
Negativ war die unglaubliche Hellhörigkeit im Zimmer, sodass man alle Gespräche im Gang, in anderen Zimmern und den Aufzug nachts wunderbar gehört hat. An erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Es gab 2 winzige Balkone, auf die mit Mühe gerade so 2 Stühle gepasst haben. Daher konnte man diese kaum nutzen. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig. Die Küche inkl Kaffeemaschine und der Boden war klebrig und schmutzig. Im Bad das gleiche Bild. Auch gab es in letzterem keinerlei Ablagen für Bandutensilien (Duschgel, Rasierer etc mussten in der Duschwanne liegen). Ganz klar: für den Preis keine Empfehlung!

Die Unterkunft an sich ist hervorragend. Die tägliche Reinigung ist ein großer Pluspunkt, und es werden stets neue Spülmaschinentabs bereitgestellt. Außerdem steht eine Waschmaschine zur Verfügung, die für nur 1 Euro genutzt werden kann.

Allerdings wurde unsere Nachtruhe erheblich gestört, als um 1 Uhr morgens der Feueralarm im Gebäude ausgelöst wurde, was uns zwang, das Haus für etwa eine Stunde zu verlassen. Obwohl der Gastgeber telefonisch erreichbar war, wurde die Situation nicht als dringend genug erachtet, um vor Ort zu klären, warum der Alarm nicht abschaltete oder ausgelöst wurde. Dies führte dazu, dass in dieser Nacht an Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Ein preisliches Entgegenkommen gab es in diesem Zusammenhang leider nicht.
