Amazing personal service from Michael and Marissa

Stayed for 4 nights visiting friends and family, really convenient location but above all a very personal experience. The room was lovely, clean and freshly decorated, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary homemade biscuits to help yourself to at reception. Very attentive and lots of really good recommendations to local restaurants and places of interest.

Wonderful stay

This boutique family run hotel is an absolute gem. The owners have impeccable taste, a theme running through every tiny detail. Gorgeous room and I have to say the nicest breakfast I've ever eaten. And as a bonus you have Trenchers fish and chips just around the corner. A lovely stay. Thank you!

We’ll be back.

The owner, Michael, met us at the door. He was friendly and made us feel very welcome.

He explained the hotel's layout, guided us to parking, and told us about breakfast.

The rooms are clean and well set out. Each room has a fridge. Though the hotel does not serve evening food, there is a machine for snacks, and they serve homemade cookies.

The breakfast was delicious. There was plenty of choice, including gluten-free and alternative plant-based milk options.

We were visiting family and are delighted to have found nd this hotel nearby. We’ll be back.

A warm welcome awaits, and the hotel is really go.

We were warmly welcomed and our room was great. It was very roomy, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Our host was friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again.

The hotel is great and the location is good.The town and beach front are both within easy walking distance. The decor is really nice and the breakfast was amazing. Micheal is a superb host and gave us some great info about local places to eat and drink and about the fantastic Craft fair in Tynemouth which was really helpful. We were on the top floor of the holel and the room was extremely warm even with the windows open and using the electric fan which was in the wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities were supplied and there was also a microwave in the room.Overall we had a great stay for a couple of nights.

From start to finish our stay was amazing, wish we could have stayed longer.

Great electronic communication, and excellent in person customer service too.

Room was lovely, bed & shower great. Breakfast was next level, with a fantastic choice of continental & cooked choices. The homemade biscuits were a lovely evening snack too 🙂!

We arrived at York house hotel for a one night stay, we were greeted by the host and taken to our room, everything was first class and spotless. A very clean and well decorated and furnished boutique hotel. A microwave and fridge in room and an immaculate small ensuite shower room.A good selection choices for breakfast. Although on a main road in Whtiely Bay, we found the hotel quiet and very safe. We didn't need parking (parked with family) but if the hotel was busy this could be an issue. We found the bed quite hard but this may suit some people a heartfelt wish for kingsize beds rather than double beds in Briitish hotels

This is by far and away one of the loveliest boutique hotels I've stayed in (and I travel a lot for work!) The guy working is exceptionally friendly, always willing to help carry bags to rooms, very approachable and generally lovely. Breakfast is TO DIE FOR - one of the nicest I've had in a hotel! Excellent location, 10 minute (if that) walk to the beach and plenty of nice restaurants around. Small area for parking around the property but free car park a 2 minute walk away (after 6pm / until 10am) so parking was no issue for me. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here whenever I'm working in the area!

A superb hotel in Whitley Bay

The check in was simple efficient and the receptionist helped with the luggage. He also gave local information for dining.
The breakfast was superb. The food was freshly cooked to order. It arrived promptly and the chef, had put special touch, decorating and garnishing.
It was served by the proprietor. The rooms were spacious, furnished tastefully and quiet. On the whole an excellent experience. The hotel is a short walk from the beach.

We stayed here for three nights in a family room. The staff throughout our stay were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was amazing. Quite well equipped. Very good location, short 5 min walk to Whitley bay. The hotel manager was very welcoming and helpful. He even personally showed me to the room. Really nice personal touch. Would definitely recommend it and will also stay again if back in this area.
