The hotel was very modern and clean, and the staff was great from the front desk to the bar to breakfast. The room was nice and had a great view of the water and the bridge. The spa was fantastic and large. I would stay there again without question.

The staff was very helpful although housekeeping forgot to leave washcloths twice. The. Breakfast buffet is excellent. The room is poorly designed. The bath is completely walled in clear glass except toilet and shower even with clear glass entry door. It made it like a maze. We had to hang a towel on the door at night to make the entry clear. There were no electrical Outlets in the bathroom. Keurig coffee was $3eu per cup in the room

Great hotel with the exemption of the Spanish manager, she didn't treat me us a good customer, she was ugly when we asked her to extend the check out 1 more hour., instead of 12.00 we asked 1.00 and she refuse in a bad manner., the rest of the staff and the hotel was

Will be back often!

We are from S.F. California and stayed 10 days. The pictures attached say enough but this location is a $5 ride from everything, makes Lisboa feel more like Santa Barbara or Embarcadero - water, people jogging, great views and actually closer to many of the key places like the museums, Belem tower and huge explorer statue.

THE MOST IMPORTANT though are:
- excellent staff from the roof to the spa
- on the ball manager - nice, smart and very caring of her staff and you. She remembers all guests name - \"welcome back Mr. Obama\" ....
- beautiful and quiet rooms with huge bathrooms and no 'toilet smell' like other Lisbon hotels
- great food options in hotel and 10-minute walk to many, many more
- And the price was very reasonable for such a gorgeous room, property and location !!!!

We stayed in late August and loved the spa pool when too hot outside, for the rooftop pool. The breakfast was perfect. Gym was small - but go for an evening run instead along promenade or take Wegovy,

OK - that's probably too much - but we would not be surprised if the Four Seasons tries to buy it, to compete with the boring Hyatt a few blocks away!

Perfect Relaxing Stay

We visited Altis Belem for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. Since we arrived at the hotel, Leandro was very welcoming, thorough, and helpful. It was great being close to two beautiful monuments on each side and being able to enjoy the spa and rooftop pool. It was only a 10 min drive to the downtown area which we found very easy to get to with Ubers/taxis. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great location with great views. It also offers a Michelin-starred restaurant. The services and staff were excellent, and the room is large. Although we are not a big fan of the contemporary style. Many furniture and utilities (including toilet and sinks) look good but difficult to use.

The staff at the Altis Belem were superb. Our original room wasn’t comfortable so the manager provided a complementary room upgrade to the river view. The view was beautiful from the large balcony we enjoyed watching the sail boats and ships on the river. The particular room had no wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom so better suited for couples or solo travelers. The bed was very comfortable we got a great night sleep! We did not realize until our second night that the hotel also offered free breakfast and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of offerings from real fruit, pastries, and a chef to make eggs your way. Make sure to get a thorough list of the hotel offerings as they are plentiful. Some of the furnishings in the hotel room appeared dated and needed modernization like usb outlets next to the bed and more convenient placement of light switches

The hotel location is ideal for most tourists. Right next to the Belém tower and a short walk to Patisserie de Belem

Regarding the Spa, I only booked an appointment for a manicure and pedicure and though I did not enjoy that experience I hear the other spa facilities like the gym, pool and massages are enjoyable.

Overall, I would stay here again on a solo visit to Lisbon. The staff are absolutely fantastic and they made me feel comfortable in their hotel.

A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. It is hard to figure out how to do anything like turn on the lights because it is too high tech and everything is black, the walls, floors, everything . Knowing braille would be a plus. And the lighting is poor.

Beautiful views. Service was good, room service call never answered for us or our friends . Breakfast was ok limited options. Nice indoor pool in the spa. Quiet, nice space. For the price, nothing special didn’t feel like a luxury hotel . Our friends had water issue in their room that took 3 days to resolve, appreciate that their room was compensated, but for such a highly rated hotel they shouldn’t have needed to be in our room at times. Best part of hotel is the view of the Tagus River .

I wanted to LOVE it, but I liked it instead.

I loved my room and the small rooftop pool was great for relaxing on the first day after too many hours of flying. The breakfast, while nice that is was complimentary- was inedible- the cured salmon tasted old and very fishy- I had to spit it out into my napkin. Not what you’d expect from a five star hotel at all. After the first breakfast I stayed away from the food and all I’d have for breakfast was two lattes and some orange juice- both of those were the only good things about that breakfast. My friend had another room (I had friends fly in from all over to celebrate my birthday in Lisbon) and I felt terrible as she had a few issues in her room- the main one being that her shower backed up and flooded the bathroom on day one. The plumber came to fix it, started the task, then left and never came back during our time there. All in all, I had a good experience, but I probably won’t book there when I come back to Lisbon.

Great hotel on the Marina, nice rooms, great breakfast, great location, the only down side is the fitness center way to small, im a bodybuilder and even when im on vacations I like to put a good workout together, but in this gym is imposible. Thankfully because is on the marina I was able to go for a good run in the mornings, for the rest is a great option.

Property was amazing. The black and white modern room theme and views were spectacular. Easy walks along Marina to some of Lisboa's most famous landmarks. Great dining locally. LOL, the black toilet paper (not kidding) in the rooms was a bit funny. Overall an excellent hotel.

Enjoyed the view from the water. Very 'modern' but didn't like the lighting in the room, the black bathroom, or the dark hallways. Staff was very nice but felt understaffed particularly at the rooftop pool and bar. Room was large, bed and pillows ultra comfortable. Food menu at the bar was limited. Breakfast was fine. Location a fair amount of walking to get to public transport.

The property is an ideal location as its not too far from the city but a pretty sight with the harbour. The room service was not efficient as they would forget to put towels etc but the staff were very helpful and polite. I would say its a bit pricey for the hotel in itself as I’ve stayed in hotels that were cheaper for five stars but had much more amenities and effiecient service. The staff at breakfast were exceptional and really gave us the best service every morning.

Staying on the tributary to the ocean was beautiful.
It was fun to watch the boats go by. And it was very easy to walk to the local historical sites.

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel and we loved every minute of being there. The service is brilliant, super comfy beds and well equipped rooms, lovely restaurant with an amazing and elaborate breakfast. The hotel spa and pool on the roof is beautiful and although it is out of town it is a really lovely bustling bit of Lisbon with lots going on and plenty of people to watch. Overall it was a wonderful few days.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, very tastefully decorated & undoubtedly will return. The staff on the whole were very friendly, especially the breakfast waiting staff. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had, with plenty to choose from. A must try, is the honeycomb, it was delicious!
The only disappointment was that the spa was out of service, apparently they were cleaning the spa pool? A little frustrating as the hotel does sell itself on being a spa hotel & we were unable to use it. This should have been explained prior to booking/attending the hotel.

Property veiws( we had marina) were spectacular. Friendly staff. Only downside were the cocktails. Worst Martini I’ve ever had( it came out green) and my wife’s cosmopolitan was way to sweet. If you want a glass of wine or beer then it’s ok, cocktails definitely go somewhere else. Breakfast was fantastic. Room very comfortable

This is an excellent hotel in a beautiful location. It^s a short tram / cab ride into the centre and a welcome oasis from it, so you get the best of both worlds. You still get your monument fix as the hotel is on the riverfront in between Discoveries and Belem tower with restaurants and pop ups in between. It also has a fantastic spa and a Michelin star restaurant (though note closed to 10 Jan). Willl definitely be coming back.

The hotel is very rigid on check-in time of 3:00; but there was 1 front desk agent who was the exception and did try to find an alternative (appreciated after over night flight).

Rather disappointing

My room still hadn't been cleaned when I got back after hot day's sightseeing, I just had to wait until they got round to doing it, around 5pm. When I complained I was told it was their normal practice to prioritise new arrivals. I would have liked more of an apology.
Breakfast was uninspiring.
The air-conditioning in the room was difficult to adjust and there were no operating instructions.
The cupboard door didn't shut properly so the internal light stayed on all night.
There was a bright street light immediately outside my window. The only way to stop it shining in to the room was to close the curtains completely, which I didn't want to do.

A very comfortable hotel, close to major attractions and transport into the centre of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent our stay couldn't be faulted.
