The staff were friendly and helpful. Almost lost my phone and they tried to help me find it. Room was clean and modern. Unfortunately not soundproof enough. Good amenities. There’s a golf course beside it which was a bonus for us. Great view of the sunset and sunrise. Close to the airport.

Staff are nice and friendly in general.
The room and the whole building seem a bit old, may need replenish.
Breakfast is disappointing as lack of food varieties and most of them are cold. Coffee is not good.
Room quality and cleanliness are not great. Mould appears to bathroom. Duvet is dirty and broke.
The size and situation of the swimming pool and the gym are excellent.
Only few minutes distance to a big supermarket.
Hotel provide free shuttle to beach which is brilliant.

This was my second time staying at Crowne Plaza Caparica and I always have a great time. This time around they have a shuttle service that takes you to the beach and can pick you up if you send them a message or call them. Very convenient location and I look forward to coming back again!!!

The room was large, the bed comfortable and the shower to die for, dogs and cats are welcome. They even brought our dog a pet package that included a very nice dog bed, a bowl, some CAT food, treats and a CAT toy. The cons - we were due to stay for 4 nights, we ended up staying 2. Our room was never cleaned, even though the 1st day I put the sign on the door requesting the room to be cleaned. the 2nd day I contacted the front desk to let them know we would be leaving and that the toilet was clogged and unusable. We came back about 4 hours later no cleaning and a clogged toilet. The front desk told me no notes on clogged toilet and they had until 5 pm to clean the rooms. The hotel was nowhere near busy. Other things to note - 5 floors and 2 very fast easy to access elevators. Ample parking with a nice parking garage. The rooms had windows that stretched the entire length of the room, but so did the rooms on the other side of the \"U-shaped\" hotel, so drapes needed to be drawn at sunset. The hotel stay should have been wonderful, but simple problems should have had simple solutions, but everyone, though very nice, seemed clueless on what to do.

We changed rooms 3 times! They first gave us the worst room, then complained and complained until we got upgraded. One of the room’s shower smelled of a chemical that even when the receptionist came in to inspect it she started coughing. It was inhabitable but she said she couldn’t upgrade us because that needs managers approval. They thought they would make up by giving in a bottle of wine, and a piece of cake, but we returned the bottle as we don’t drink. I hope someone reads this and can compensate us.

Fantastic stay!

The family really enjoyed the hotel.
The breakfast could’ve used more alternative meat selections however there was plenty of breakfast options.
The pool was great, it was very fun. Beautiful location.

Beautiful, clean and relaxing. Perfect except the amazing beach nearby is not close enough on foot and hotel shuttle is infrequent. Quick cheap uber so not an issue. Will stay again if in the area. I recommend the place!

We really enjoyed this stay! The pools were very nice and large and the staff was amazing. They were always very attentive and around when we needed something. They also had a free shuttle to the beach. I think the pool bar food could have been better (especially for the price), but overall this was a great experience!

Our suite was very nice and what we expected. The air conditioner for the suite was tempermental so the first night we did not have air conditioning and it was not comfortable at all. The customer service was by far, hands down, nothing short of amazing. Rafael was a driver to take guests to the beach and he was polite, professional and always on time and flexible. Another driver took us to a look out point which we never would have been to, had he not shown us and went out of his way. The concierge was patient and accomodating. On guest of the hotel was checking in and I saw the entire interaction - the guest was rude in tone of voice and words including body language. Concierge maintained professionalism and a friendly demeanor. I certainly wouldnt have. Outdoor Pool was great and refreshing, plenty of chairs to go around for everyone. I like how they dont charge for a poolside canopy, it is given on a first come first serve which I think is fair. We used the gym and indoor pool. Both were in good shape, great variety for gym equipment. Restaurant dinner meal was fantastic and the menu had a great variety. Buffet breakfast was what you would expect. Overall good. Overall experience, other than one night with the air conditioner, it was a great and yes, I would go back. A.D. from Toronto, Ontario, Canada

This was my fourth trip to the property. Close enough to enjoy Costa da Caparica yet quiet and relaxed on the property. I love the option of both indoor and outdoor pools. The spa staff are professional and attentive to keeping all areas safe and clean.

A lovely modern hotel with excellent facilities. Just a little short of being Excellent as some of the staff are not trained to that level yet. The reception staff were top draw as an example of consistent service standards to be met.
Everyone is polite and friendly but they need be accurate with food orders and replenish coffe and milk in the room. In the retail and hospitality industry details count.

Perfect place for us as family of 5, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a beautiful seaview. 2 Bedrooms & living room are spacious and clean. Main bedroom bed is nice and huge. Indoor swimming pool is the best swimming pool we have been! Water temperature is perfect, full height glass view to golf course. Changing/ shower facility is amazing too. Everywhere is clean. Staff is the top! From reception, concierge, restaurant, spa/ gym swimming team, house keeping, all being super helpful and nice, in particular the concierge team! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you

Property looks nice. We arrived 2 hrs early. Would not get help to get checked in till exactly 3 pm. So, we went to the city and came back ready to relax. My room was crawling with ants. First time, when called, no one came to check. Called again and house keeping came with sprays. Asked for a different room. Same thing in second room!!!Third room was ok. Just ruined my whole stay from that. Was constantly checking the room to make sure no ants. I took pictures. That was horrible. A manager talked to us after everything was said and done. He pretended like everything was fine. Scratch this property off my list.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The staff are, without exception, amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly and helpful and great for local recommendations. The hotel is clean throughout and we really enjoyed the massive choice of breakfast items available each morning. It is a little out the way but there is a regular free shuttle bus into Caparica and we found Uber’s to Lisbon cheap and quick. We used the spa for a massage which was also fabulous and reasonably priced. Would recommend!

Misleading ‘Accessible’ Room with Unhelpful Staff

I booked a wheelchair-accessible room, only to find that the bathroom didn’t even have a shower chair. Do they expect wheelchair users to magically no longer need assistance when showering? When I asked the front desk for a shower chair, the receptionist rudely informed me that the hotel only has one chair for the entire property, and it was already in use by another guest. When I asked if I could use one of the balcony chairs instead, she said they would have to charge me for it because it wasn’t designed for showers. Despite my stay lasting seven days, they never managed to provide a shower chair. The staff showed no empathy or willingness to help make alternative arrangements. To top it off, the room was misleadingly advertised as accessible, but it clearly did not meet accessibility standards.

This is overall a nice hotel, with modern rooms. However the maintenance and service could do with some improvement.

On arrival, our bathroom sink was blocked and a light was not working. It took a day to have these resolved.

Throughout the whole stay, the TV wasn't working properly - it took over a minute for each channel to show up when flipping channels.

We also had a coffee machine in the room, that needed us to ask every day at reception for it to be replenished, as they otherwise forgot to fill the pods.

Weirdly for a busy 4-star hotel in peak season, their bar closes at 11, and room service at midnight. It's a surprise they don't have 24hr room service.

This Hotel is a beautiful property. I think they are under staffed. We ordered food at the restaurant and waited over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get food. Then the Brownie dessert was described as brownie with vanilla ice cream and banana foster but it came out with Strawberry ice bream and I think some berried (no Banana foster). The brownie was cold and the food was mediocre at best.
