Jasmine and Simon were awesome, as well as the rest of the staff! Jasmine was a wealth of knowledge and had great recommendations. Fantastic location for walking to just about anything. The hotel is on a very quiet street too. Currency exchange at the front desk was also convenient. Breakfast was interesting, but not bad. Comfy bed. Highly recommended!

Staff were amazing and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Location is good a quiet side street and only a few metres to the main hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
Breakfast was super tasty. You were able to order off a menu and cooked fresh. I was lucky enough to tasty their home made pineapple jam in my pancakes, OMG Delicious!!!
Highly recommend this hotel for travellers. We are a family of 4 with teenage kids.

The location of the hotel in the hustle and bustle of the Old Town was excellent for us.
The spectacle of the busy streets, shops, bars, food outlets and night life was really amazing. Plenty of sights to see for the 3 days we were there.
The Hotel was of a decent standard, clean, pleasant breakfast and the staff were super friendly and efficient
Jasmin was exceptional in the time she gave us to help and advise sorting out our trips, transport and accommodation for our onward journey.

Great location and very friendly staff that were very helpful. However, the condition of the room wasn’t great. The desk has a strange design and if you put your backpack or lean on it, it will fall. Faucet control is strange - either to low a flow or too much. Maid did not refill body wash and I ran out of it on my last day. Maid was coming everyday to make the room, but not refilling for three days wasn’t good. There were stains on the top of the comforter and I reported immediately after I checked in. They said it is not a dirty one but would change the next day. They never did. On my last day, the one day I wanted to sleep in late, there was loud banging noise in the next room as they were repairing something.

I reiterate that staff were very friendly but I did not have a very comfortable stay. It is a good location, however.

Not what expected after seeing pictures. Very small dated hotel, the bathrooms had mold, not many amenities. No hair conditioner. The elevator goes to 4th floor. But rooms go up to 5th. Have to Cary bags for one floor. Some staff are very nice and friendly, others (like the overnight staff, are there just because). Breakfast is horrible. Great location. The size of the rooms is good. But def not what it looks like on pictures

The location is excellent - I was able to walk to all the attractions that I wanted to visit and there are lots of great coffee shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. All of the staff on reception were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke excellent english. I thought it was good value for money and would definitely stay again if I visit Hanoi in the future.

We stayed here for one night before moving onto halong Bay Area. It did the job, a comfortable bed and large room, didn’t seem the cleanest in the nooks and crannies of the hotel bathroom and there was a pervasive smell as soon as you walked in which was off putting. Not sure if it was a drain or bathroom smell? The breakfast options were lovely and plenty to choose from.

If you looking for a hotel that is reasonable and convenient, this is the place to be. It is in the heart of the old quarter where everything is pretty much walking distance. The service here is top notch especially with the help of Jasmine and Minh. If you are a foodie or if you need help with booking a tour the staff here will make everything simple since they can speak multiple languages which is a plus. I highly recommended this hotel and also would like to thank the staff here for making my trip memorable.

There's even a convenience store across the street. My room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Jasmine and Lily were so nice and offered exceptional service. Didn’t make it down for breakfast but the smell coming from the kitchen were amazing! As a solo traveller it was super handy to be able to get advice. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. They were so accommodating. I stayed at The Golden Art for 6nights, check in was swift and staff gave me a good run down of local places to visit, gave me a local map with places of interest on which was invaluable. The hotel is hidden just off the busier roads so is quieter on a night. The room itself was spacious, bathroom was more than adequate, the beds were so comfortable. Honestly, staff could not have been more helpful, from laundry to arranging a shuttle to the airport at 4am
Highly recommended and amazing value for money.
Hopefully i will be returning next year, and will definitely rebook here…

Stayed here for a total of 5 nights over 2 periods. Hotel location is wonderful, right in the heart of Old Quarter and very walkable.

Staff here are very friendly and warm. I met up with a NZ couple who told me they stayed here for very long periods, like almost 2 months and everytime they come to Hanoi, they will stay here. Just goes to show the warm hospitality.

The price is Great. Stay is fantastic and the Breakfast is ala-carte order, cooked fresh and serve right away.

It was a mistake to book this hotel. Too small, run down, smelly noisy room, service needs improvement, far from lake.
Wouldn't book here again. For the same price you can find many better options.

We had lovely stay at the golden art hotel. Excellent location right in the heart of the old quarter, and impeccable service. Jasmine in particular was very kind and helpful, organising transport to the hotel and local advice. The rooms are comfortable but not luxurious, and the price is very fair. Breakfast is included - the pho is delicious! It’s a great base to explore Hanoi from, with aircon and wifi - what more do you need?

The staff was exception. I reached out to the hotel on Expedia chat for an airport pickup and they promptly responded thru email and arranged the pickup and drop off for roughly $18 and $13 respectively. The had plently of suggestions for tours and Jasmine regularly checked in with us. She was great. The old quarter is a great place to shop and eat. We'll be going back to stay longer for multi-day tours and explore north and south of Hanoi.

Loved our stay at Golden Art Hotel! It is conveniently located in the Old Quarter, near tons of dining and shopping options, and serves a delicious breakfast. But best of all, we were lucky to have Jasmine organize our entire stay in Vietnam! She provided tour options at a lower cost than we were able to find online and everything was perfectly well planned. Our tours included: a cultural city tour of Hanoi with a private driver; a walking street food tour in the Old City which was fantastic; a visit of the caves in Phong Nah national Park; a two day cruise in Halong Bay; and all hotel and airport transfers in between. All highly recommended, we are just sad we ran out of time to visit Sapa! Also, Jasmine's restaurants, tailor, and massage parlor recommendations were spot on. Thank you Jasmine for everything!!!

This was my 2nd time staying here at Golden Art and it is a great place in the heart of the Old City. Unlike so many hotels in the Old City this location is void of traffic and construction noise, but yet perfectly located.

The staff are very professional and helpful. Jasmine was so helpful, she recognized me from my last stay in 2019 and made me feel so welcomed.

Breakfast has a wide selection of ala carte selections.

Again, a great place to stay and is my 'go-to' hotel on my future trips to Hanoi,

My trip started in the south of Vietnam and I've been in a couple of hotels on my way to Hanoi. What I can say about hotels is that the staff at Golden Art is by far the friendliest of all! Amazing service, tips for tourism and delicious breakfast.
The hotel it's also at a walking distance to many restaurants and sightseeing options.
