Suitable accommodations for a few nights. Polite staff, main pool is drained / closed for repairs - there is another pool 100m walk away - be aware however, the chlorine was extremely strong & it bleached / turned multiple pairs of shorts pink from using the pool. Rooms are a little dated, but dark with good A/C. Thanks for having us!

The main building is older and well maintained. There is spectacular rooftop bar/restaurant. The hotel is a short walk to all the nightlife and beaches. Staff were amazing food excellent. I would stay there again.

Amazing and absolutely stunning panoramic view. Doors within room could use updating - they made us laugh we felt like we were entering 7 -11 (old heavy metal doors). The sliding glass door to the deck was extremely difficult to open (had to hold with two hands and jimmy it to open and close). The staff were friendly and pleasant. The Coy pond and statues around property were beautiful. Beautiful panoramic view on rooftop bar and restaurant.

We had big hopes for our superior jacuzzi suite given the amount we paid. We tried to fill the jacuzzi but after 10 minutes gave up when there was only as inch of water. The jets were all black annd dirty anyway so a useless feature.

The cabin was in the jungle really and a 5 inch spider crawled up wall in shower! Our patio door in the bedroom didn’t lock. Nice patio but a strong swamp and sewage odor.

Main pool was very cloudy, unswimmable. Chairs broken, cousins weathered, swim up bar not functioning, person fell through grates around pool.

Good parts, Smaller pool was better, front desk and housekeeping staff were great, restaurant staff good, food good but only open until 5. Rooftop open top 8 but more expensive and not as good.

The worst part was the walk up the hill. Once a day is fine but in the heat, you almost felt stuck and it was too busy and hilly for a scooter.

Place need some TLC. Has potential, most we paid and worst accommodation we had in our 3 weeks.

Wonderful stay at Seabreeze, very nice and friendly staff wonderful view on Leelaa beach and away - though close - from the busy Haad Rin area. Don’t forget to spend your late afternoon in the Seabreeze rooftop. Good vibes, excellent service and spectacular 360(maybe 300, lol) view!

It is super close for the full moon party. 5 minute walk and you’re right in the middle of it all! Perfect for that. Beyond after that night the room is pretty loud. Not a lot of sound proofing but pretty much everything you’d expect

Hotel is old and it shows. Bed was very uncomfortable. Intriguing look of the property and had great views. Wanted to rent a motorbike and the lady persisted that she must keep my passport. I refused and told her it is illegal for me not to have my passport on me when traveling outside my country. She said go find somewhere else to rent.

We stayed at Sea Breeze Resort for four nights while attending the Full Moon and Jungle Party, and it was a great experience!

The rooms have a rustic wooden decor with a vintage vibe, complete with balconies, Netflix, YouTube, and fast 5G internet. The showers have excellent water pressure – perfect after a night out. The rooftop restaurant stole the show with breathtaking panoramic views, a steady sea breeze, and friendly staff. Leela Beach on one side and endless ocean views on the other made it our favorite spot. The ground-floor restaurant served delicious Thai food and refreshing granola bowls.

A special shout-out to the Nepalese hotel supervisor, whose warm greetings and smile made every day better. The resort’s reception covers everything – free shuttles, bike rentals, laundry, and party tickets. We even found a peaceful Shiv temple hidden on the property, adding to the charm.

They surprised me with a birthday bouquet and cake on my wife’s request at a nominal price, making our stay even more memorable.

The only downsides were the old towels and bedding, quilt & pillows that smelled a bit musty, damp and old which need replacement now.

Tip: Ask for the panoramic room with stunning 180-degree views, and don’t miss a visit to the serene Leela Beach.

We loved every bit of Sea Breeze and highly recommend it!

Astonishing view from the room and rooftop bar! Located in a Quite place but only few minutes walking distance from the restaurants and bars streets. Great stuff with super hospitality! Will definitely come back! I have visited many islands of Thailand. This hotel is definitely one of the best hotels in Thailand!

Stayed here as a base for the island for 3 days. The hotel is quirky little jem in the hills high up overlooking a bay. We had a panoramic room view which is actually half carved into the rocks for really unusal fabulous look.
The staff were superb and could not do enough for you. Organising pick ups, moped hire(which I highly recommend you get). The only issue would be for anyone with mobility issues as there is a lot of uneven big steps, this just adds to the charm of the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

I had a flight delay and ended up stranded on the neighboring island. The staff was nice enough to hold my reservation since I had paid well in advance.

The room had a beautiful view which made up for the funky bathroom layout that flooded quickly when showering. While it's not the most modern place I've stayed, the service and views made up for it.

The place is up a steep hill so get your legs and ankles ready, especially if you're a bit thick like I am. Overall, it was close to a lot of places. If it's not, they will schedule transportation for a reasonable rate. Overall, I'd stay again!

This property is near it all! Great location from being a street away from the shops and beautiful Haad Rin Beach! You will need to be in GOOD walking shape, there are steep hills to climb. But I loved the exercise. Staff were amazing! Room was old Thai ( more steps) beautiful except the bed. My only complaint was the VERY stiff firm mattress. But all and all I loved our 3 nights stay. I would need another bed to return. Try the Hot Dog place at the corner too! Get lost in the hills each morning, and swim at the beach all day and eat well here.

The room view is beautiful which I can enjoy sunsetting. The property itself is in understandable condition because Covid-19 causes less staffs to rake leaves and dirt here and there which I can feel dryness and feel like less guest has visited. But, mostly I enjoy the pool, ocean view and lovely staffs for good advices. You need them when places are not open. Keep it up and it will be better soon!

Best place I’ve stayed at

I never write reviews for hotels but this place was probably one of the best places I stayed at in 3 years of traveling. The staff are all really friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. The resort itself is amazing too and the views from this place is just amazing. Koh Phangan is pretty dead quiet away from the moon festivals but it is one of the most beautiful and relaxing islands. I would definitely recommend anyone to come stay here, they’ll take good care of you and you’ll enjoy yourself a lot here. I loved it so much, I stayed an extra day even though I had another hotel booked in Koh Samui.

Sea Breeze Resort did not let me down in any way. It is an amazing place with clean rooms and great staff. The buffet breakfast was always quality and had a few different options daily yet had the same basic western food we are accustomed to. My room which was the Panoramic View room was just amazing. The view was much better than described amd the balcony was perfect to sit amd look over the water every morning. The room itself was tastefully designed and built into the mountain itself so they used the exposed rocks as featured for both the living on and toilet which was way cool. The pool area was very chill with a swim up pool bar and great views of he ocean. I stayed during full moon party but if you are in the hotel you don’t even notice it. The only downside there might be is the resort is perched up high on a hill which didn’t bother me as I had a scooter. They also provide a shuttle service. All in all I give this resort a well deserved A+. I’ll be staying there again PS I turned the bead around to face the sea 😉

The hotel is super close to 3 beaches. All are within walking distance and quite lovely. The breakfasts were superb and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My only complaints would be about the room, the view was of construction, the mattress was fairly hard, and I found the sheets to smell a bit stuffy. That being said, it did not hinder my sleep very much and I found the experience overall to be enjoyable, but if these are things that bother you, I am sure the staff would be happy to help. I was content with it all.

It’s quite the hike to the hotel but I wanted to be away from the craziness around the FMP so it’s ok. The staff are gracious and give good service especially Bam Bam and Joe. The buffet breakfast is always on point. The pool could be cleaner and facilities better. The view from the hotel is amazing. I prefer if the lighting in the room is better and that the bathroom free of drain smell.

All facilities were ok but the breakfast is pathetic one expectes a good breakfast at the price we paid we had a terrible breakfast on the first day and the second day we skipped it altogether.

I enjoyed my stay here, one thing I didn't like was that you have to keep your key in a slot in the wall for anything in your room to work. Everything I kept in my fridge would go bad because I would leave my room for the day and when I came back fridge was warm. That is my only complaint.

we arrived at the hotel at 6am in the morning after getting the night boat over and we were greeted by a lovely smiley man (sorry i never got your name) he carried our bags to our room which was a plus bcoz we were so tired, we stayed here for 3 nights and i really didnt want to leave, nothing was a problem when you asked staff on laundry, day trips out, taxis to other islands ect, the hotel is close to beaches and the town center, would defo stay here again and recomment to anyone who is coming to the island

The staff at Seashell is amazing! Attentive, caring, and helpful. The name is perfect as there is a very welcomed breeze you don’t get elsewhere in the island when you get to the top of the hill. Grounds are peaceful and very well maintained. Our bungalow was huge! Beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean, entryway with a closet and private bathroom around the corner. AC worked well. Breakfast was good. We did not know that getting off the island after the Full Moon party can be difficult; thankfully they staff saved the day. They spent quite a bit of time on the phone calling several different companies until they found one that had tickets for us at our preferred travel time. They arranged for a transfer to the dock as well.

Upon arival we were greeted with great hospitality by staff that seemed to go out of their way to make sure to make we had the best stay posible. We were giving a room with a large private balcony overlooking the scenic views of the sea, the room was cleaned and furnished to the highest of standards. If I was going to return to koh phangan I woukd stay nowhere else

The staff were very nice and helpful! They helped us with anything we needed including booking a transfer, borrowing beach towels and giving us directions!

The hotel is situated on a hill with a great view! Our room was very nice and spacious with a good sized balcony!

Close walk to Haad Rin beach where there are many bars and restaurants and shops. This is also where the full moon party is!

Reviews Can Be Misleading !

We booked this resort \"on the back of\" the glowing reviews. What we have now learnt from Hotels.com reviews is that they should specify the type of room they stayed in Ours was \"standard\"-well I can tell you standard ain't much good --the sheets were badly stained, the door to the verandah was off the hinges which let insects in, the table on the verandah was made of rotten wood, there is no chair in the room and the walls are damaged with holes, filthy paint work etc where equipment has removed etc., the wifi was extremely unreliable, on the first morning we had to request cleaning of the room at 2:30 pm If you are over middle age foreget this resort as not only the climb to the resort impossible getting to the room is as well. We read great reports of the staff --not experienced by us --\"if you don't like it you can move to another resort\"--- not very easy on the eve of the Full Moon Party !!

The hotel is located on a hill, it is a big effort everytime to go back to the hotel and it is even in the middle of nature. There are many animals, especially biting mosquitos. Very annoying! We could hear frogs. The breakfast is poor.
We find insects in the room. The room smells like old wood.
I do not recomend this place for aged people as it is uphill. The swimming pool is very nice, the staff is nice as well. The gave us ride back to the hotel often if they met us downtown and they bring you to the port if you need to.

Best view in Phangan and best service!!!

The hotel is location gives it the best sea view in whole Phangan(with little hill climbing to get there) and located 5 minutes walk from Haad Rin center. The staff was uniquley great and making the stay comfortable and they even speaking good english for Thai hotels and shuttle to the Pier without any charge (Haad rin pier). Would recommend it without any doubts :)

This hotel was not what the reviews led me to believe it would be.

Cons:
-Damp towels with a staff that made it very difficult to replace them
-Unclean sheets
-Terrible Wifi service (maybe due to high occupancy but still)
-Terrible room lighting
-No outlets in bathroom

Great 2 night stay.

Very welcoming staff. Away from the FMP so that you still get your piece and quiet but close enough of a walk. The views of the villa were amazing. Great pool and tasty food at the restaurant. Don't let the slight hill intimidate you, its a very close walk into the main area. I'd stay here again. Internet in the room wasnt the best but was strong by the pool and restaurant.

The original standard room we were supposed to stay was a joke. Couldn't believe we almost got stuck in there. We upgraded to the deluxe room and was much better. Staff was very friendly. This is a beautiful property! Nice staff, nice pool, nice beds and great view. The only drawback was the hike to the hotel and the hike to the room. The breakast was fantastic. I really liked this place and comared to the other party places that are common on this island, I would not hesitate to reccommend. Just enjoy the bonus cardio hiking off the hangover & use it as an excuse to get a massage.

Lets start with the fact that walk ins get better prices then i got when i pre ordered two months in a advance. And the hotel manager said its because she has to pay a fee so she rolls it over to the customers.

Then our room had these worms or leeches in it and i had to keep calling house keeping to clean and kill them

When they cleaned the room they forgot to change and add new toilet paper, new liquid soap and new coffe and tea. For two nights in a row and i had to keep calling reception to bring me what was missing.

The hotel is also located on top of a very steep hill that you have to climb yourself everytime you want to go anywhere

Location was perfect close to town, beaches, activities, bars, and restaurants best views on the island. Amazing multilingual staff who were very very happy to help where/whenever they could. We were there for a week and could have happily made it more.

Ein älteres Hotel aber mit super nettem Personal. Preise sind ganz ok und der service ist tadellos!

Bei der Rezeption hat es neben dem Pool und Restaurant noch einen Vogel der diverse Pfeiftöne auf Lager hat, diverse Katzen die auch die Balkone mal friedlich in beschlag nehmen können und einen wilden Leguan haben wir angetroffen.

Oben gibt es eine Seaviewbar die sich für die Aussicht lohnt! Die Drinks dort sind auch nicht schlecht.

Bett ist eher auf der harten Seite in den alten Zimmern. Ob dies in den neuen Zimmern anderst ist kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Wir waren in den alten Zimmern mit Balkon und Meerblick. Abends teilweise laut durch Motorboote und Partytunes, für uns allerdings kein Problem.
Direkte Nachbaren hört man ziemlich gut. (Gespräche werden verstanden im Nachbarzimmer)

Für uns war es ein sehr guter Aufenthalt!

Ausstattung: Kühlschrank, Haartrockner, Shampoo, Duschmittel, Badetücher, Handtücher, Safe, zwei Flaschen Wasser pro Tag Marke Singha.

De kamer en badkamer zijn wat verouderd en kunnen wel een update gebruiken.

We boekten dit resort o.a. voor het zwembad op de foto, echter bleek dit bij aankomst ivm problemen gesloten. We waren hierover vooraf niet geïnformeerd en dat was wel zo netjes geweest. Gelukkig was er wel een tweede zwembad. Op ons verzoek om compensatie werd niet heel scheutig gereageerd.

Verder was de accommodatie schoon en het personeel vriendelijk. Vooral de heren in de bediening in de rooftop bar.

Coole Hotelanlage. Wir waren in einem Bungalow. Ingesamt könnte das Zimmer etwas Liebe und Feinstrich vertragen. Der ein oder andere Lichtschalter ging nicht z.B. und die Lichtfarbe der Lampen war etwas drückend. Aber insgesamt war es sehr authentisch eingerichtet. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und man konnte unkompliziert, ohne Aufpreis, einen Roller leihen und Wäsche waschen lassen.
Die Anlage und das Zimmer waren sauber.

Lovely location but hard beds

- I expected bit dated rooms but probably not this dated..
- Bed sheets had very strong and unpleasant smell, making it difficult to sleep
- The bed was extremely hard and had no top mattress at all. When I mentioned about this I was quickly provided with a (very thin) top mattress, but never seen such stained and badly molded textile before. I think it was unacceptable condition but didn't want to complain about it for the cleaner. Unfortunately even with the top mattress bed was still too hard to sleep

All in all, I had ok stay at this place and view from my balcony was amazing, but due to condition of bed and textiles would not choose again

Im Generellen hat uns die Unterkunft super gefallen. Die Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit bei all unseren Fragen. Wir bekamen täglich neue Handtücher und eine Wasserflasche pro Person. Die Pools waren sehr angenehm, allerdings sollte man bei später Stunde Mückenspray auftragen, da es dort viele Bäume gibt und dementsprechend viele Mücken unterwegs sind.
Man kann ganz einfach Roller ausleihen, seine Wäsche für 60 THB pro Kilo waschen lassen und auch Partytickets direkt beim Hotel kaufen.

Con:
Sowohl die Eingangtür, als auch die Terassentür hatten Schlitze, wodurch Mücken und Salamander einen einfachen Weg hinein fanden. Der Kühlschrank war nachts sehr laut, was einem das Schlafen erschwert hat.

Sehr gute Lage des Hotels auf einem Berg, somit abgelegen von der Partystraße aber dennoch ist der Hadrin Beach fußläufig erreichbar. Der Pool hat einen tollen Ausblick, nur leider war die Bar am Pool anscheinend seit längerem nicht im Gebrauch.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
