In the heart of busy Seminyak. A little piece of zen heaven surrounded by lush vegetation. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Nothing was too much for them. The apartments are luxury suites and every attention to cultural detail is made. The individual plunge pools and the main swimming pool were wonderful. The place is even better than the hotel pictures give it credit for. Strongly recommended

We loved everythingggggggggggg about our townhouse and the staff. I celebrated my birthday with them and they catered to me hand and foot LITERALLY. From the in house full body massage and flower bath to the exceptional job the staff did on my flower pool, not to mention they morning of my bday they gathered all the staff and showed up to my door with a cake singing happy birthday I thought that was the coolest. My parents and I had a wonderful experience during our stay at this lovely townhouse.

- The location was ideal, being in close proximity to the beach, temple, shopping center, and beach clubs.
- The room was spacious and comfortable.
- The staff was exceptionally kind and friendly, demonstrating great accommodation and communication skills.

An excellent choice for a stay in Seminyak. Location is in a quiet street just a few minutes walk to the beach and 10mins walk to the busy seminyak square area. Townhouses are very spacious and tastefully furnished and the breakfast served in your room is very good with a decent range of choices. The main pool is a good size and is a nice place to relax. Above all the staff are excellent, super friendly and accommodating.

Great - will plan family reunion there !!!

Super quiet, spacious, comfortable and homey - with excellent pool and in-room (your own dining room) breakfast ever day.

Car service one-way to most of town, money exchange and excellent (& inexpensive) laundry. Airport pick up too.

Will be back !!! - would be great site for a family reunion. Stayed over xmas holidays and really enjoyed this home away from home - villa-like feel (almost) but at “residence inn” prices.

We couldn't recommend here enough - location wise, we were very close to town center and the beach with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The rooms were very spacious, clean and modern. Also had a lovely jacuzzi in the bathroom. The pool was basically empty and a great length to swim in. Staff were really friendly and helpful and a good mix of European and traditional food for breakfast. The hotel had a large water dispenser which was a great idea to refill our bottles and also had a fridge and freezer which was handy. Really quiet hotel - couldn't recommend here strongly enough.

The surroundings are not very nice to look at although Cicada provides a shuttle service from 12-2000hrs every day to any place within Seminyak to deal with this issue. Otherwise the place is well run, food is good and the staff is amazing. The rooms are not sparkling new but still very solid in their appearance.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The hotel is just off the main road a short 2 minute walk, so it's nice a quiet. It close to food, massage, and 15 minuute walk to Seminyak Square.

We stayed in the Suite, the room looks exactly like their pictures on the advertisement. The breakfast is delicious and it's delivered to your room at your specified time, on time. The beds are extremely comfortable, their is a bluetooth speaker, a car service that will drop you off anywhere in seminyak between 12-8pm.

The best experience about Cicada is the staff. They all were extremely friendly and accommodating and always finding a way to meet our needs.

Amazing service! Tucked away in a lane the townhouse we stayed in was extremely spacious and our own small pool was great. Use of the main pool was available too and rarely anyone around which was even better. They provided daily transfers between 12-8pm which as super convenient. They even came into the room and set it up in the evening closing the curtains and spraying mosquito spray. I loved it.

Awesome property. We travelled as family 2 adults and 2 kids. My kids and wife loved the property, ambience, facilities etc. They provide water dispenser and water bottles for drinking water. The only thing I want to mention is that we didn’t use tap water for even toothbrushing, as we didn’t like the smell of tap water. Other than that, place is awesome, cleanliness top class, staff amazing and breakfast also nice. Great job 👍

The hotel was incredible. Right in the middle of Seminyak. I booked the trip for my partners birthday & told them last minute that the night we landed was his birthday. They went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible stay. They had a cake in the room upon arrival. We loved the breakfast & we absolutely loved our stay. We literally had the best time ever. We loved every minute & they were so accommodating. The free shuttle from the airport is vital because fighting with the locals over taxi prices after midnight is less than ideal. They also offer a free shuttle into Seminyak. It was a perfect trip.

Little Oasis!

Truely wonderful and memorable stay at Cicada. Staff there are all friendly and exude the typical friendliness of Balinese culture. Meisa and her colleague were both extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble to arrange; even a last minute massage prior to leaving with our super short 1 night stay. It was a birthday surprise also for my partner's big birthday and they did not hesitate to arrange a cake and petal decor which I'm overly grateful for. Breakfast is delicious with many choices of mains with the luxury to enjoy in room and pool not crowded and lovely to swim in. Location cannot be beaten with being tucked away in tranquility while still within super close range of 5-10 minutes to all the best spots of Seminyak and beach Petitgent. A truely hidden gem. We send our sincere thankyous and will be returning.

My bf and I stayed 2 days here. The house is big for 2person but a little bit old. He request pic l to set up roses pool and balloon before we arrives. The reception helped us to rent a motorbike too.

Cons:
1. They arranged us take a bath in the guardhouse toilet. We feel really bad as a traveller using their public toilet.

2. Never mentioned they have floating breakfast service.

3. Less choice on breakfast.

We have stayed in some very lovely Villas in Bali over the years but this is the best so far. Town Houses are beautifully appointed. Bed and pillow options great. The pool in our one bedroom townhouse is small but ample for a quick cool off if you don’t want to use the large communal pool. Direct access out our front door to the gorgeous 25m long pool and it’s surrounds meant you have the best of both. And most of the time we had it to ourselves when we used it anyway. Lovely quiet street in what we consider an excellent location in Seminyak. Staff were always friendly and helpful when we needed anything. We will be back for another stay.

Great place to relax. Convenient free airport pick up with a great driver. The daily complimentary breakfast had excellent variety and the room service very reasonably priced and well cooked food. Honest, helpful and attentive, fantastic service from all staff. We were made to feel very welcome for our first time visiting Bali. When sitting by the pool there was some noise coming from the neighbouring property due to building works - the staff were very kind and apologetic despite this being out of their control and we were provided with a free dinner or massage to compensate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Cicada!

This was a great place to stay! The service was excellent and the townhouse was amazing. The rooms were very spacious and even included a water cooler. The location was excellent, just a few blocks (5 minute walk) to Potato Head. They even offered a free shuttle to anywhere in Seminyak and were able to set up tours with private drivers for us to tour the entire Island. This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Arrived at Townhouse impressed...Nice area , Nice townhouse EXCEPT......CONSTRUCTION without warning before we booked.. After a few days of site seeing we wanted to relax at the pool over weekend. THIS WAS the only reason we booked this villa. LOUD banging and grinding outside our door all day WHICH completely ruined our day at the pool.. If we had known this we would have booked another place. Sad that we were not informed!!!!!!

The downstairs has a bad wet smell to it which is on the couch also... I would recommend they clean the upholstery because the smell is noticeable on couch and chair.

The townhouse is spacious . It was cleaned regularly and the service was super. They don’t have any recreation activities in the hotel but with a whole house of ourselves we didn’t want it either . We had a very late arrival and Cicada sent a driver to pick us up at the airport at 1AM. I was very impressed that they had a complete staff helping us at check-in even though it was very late at night. We stayed in the Junior Suite and was amazed by how beautiful it was, not to mention the private pool. We were provided a full breakfast which was delivered to our suite promptly. The beach, shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. If I return to Bali, we would return to Cicada in a heartbeat!

Cicada is superb. Modern spacious beautifully furnished with many artworks including local Bali sculptures. The pool is awesome and each suite has a private pool too. It’s quiet but close to the Main Street where cafes and shops are. The beach is close too. Loved the free shuttle to take you places. Breakfasts are the best we’ve had anywhere. And the staff are so helpful and lovely to deal with. It’s not cheap but really worth it especially compared to other similar places.

When you’re biggest complaint about a villa IN BALI is that the 250sq/ft open air bathroom is a bit hot and muggy you know you chose a great villa! The Rooftop Suite is spacious and stunning. Outdoor living space includes a large plunge pool and, since it’s on the rooftop, it receives plenty of sunlight and is warm enough to use (not always the case with many villa plunge pools unfortunately). Staff are friendly and attentive and seem genuinely surprised, flattered and appreciative when offered a tip! A short 5min walk from the beach (Alila’s “Beach Bar” is right across the street). Was sad to leave and can’t recommend highly enough!

This place is absolutely awesome. It is right in Seminyak but it is hidden down a tiny side street so you hear none of the hustle and bustle as Seminyak is a busy place. My wife and I stayed here for 5 days during our honeymoon. The staff were absolutely amazing, the food was amazing (breakfast was included everyday and delivered to your room). I can't say anything negative because we really had a fantastic time staying here. The plunge pool was a great addition and refreshing after a hot day.

Not to mention WiFi was so good I was able live stream the NFL home openers.

My partner & I stayed for 6 nights & it was truly a dream. Staff were so helpful & our place was so lovely & clean. The location is spot on with it being close to everything (we still hired a scooter so we could go exploring/get around quicker) & even though it was in the midst of the hustle & bustle, it was so quiet & peaceful. Highly reccommend!!!!!

Upscale property with great service but with noise

Stayed at the townhouse one bed. The room decor, bedding and all that was up to the high standard/ upscale.

The service at the hotel including the receptionists were also up to high standards, friendly and professional.

The beds were made prior to the evenings and i appreciated these small touches of service.

Breakfast was included and was of good quality/ variety and they were served in-room.

The hotel had a nice outdoor pool and it was not so crowded either when i was there. I was technically the only person swimming.

The location was close to the beach and also about 10-15 min from seminyak square. I could also utilize the area/airport shuttle.

The only thing about this room/stay was that the bedroom was facing the road running next to the hotel and every five minute, i could hear either a truck or a scooter pass by at night.
I was not able to sleep much that night. The bathtub (shower and toilet too) was in the outside area facing the road too and i just didnt feel like using the bathtub at least because of the noise. It is unfortunate that this hotel/ room is kept in such high standards but because of the noise, it made my stay difficult.

When i mentioned this to one of the staff, they did dealt with this accordingly. Again, the staff were just really nice.

I hope the hotel add some sort of double glazed doors to this room so the noise is kept minimum.

Overall upscale/professional service minus the noise..

Amazing place with amazing staff

I would stay at this resort over and over again... it’s a short walking distance from the Seminyak hub but yet still quiet enough to ride complimentary bikes through the neighbourhood. Best thing about the place is the level of service and amazing staff. Special mention to Ria, Meisha and Nikki. We had no booking on arrival but the staff accommodated us and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We had to move around and stayed in three different villa’s and they were all amazing

We loved our 4 day stay at Cicada. The two bedroom villa was spacious & very comfortable. The staff are so friendly & nothing was to much trouble .
The grounds are beautiful & being down a lane, it’s very quiet, though still close to the beach & all the fabulous restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here. This will now be our regular when ever we are staying in Seminyak.

Quiet Oasis in the middle of Seminyak

I came here with my husband on our honeymoon for our first time in Bali. The location is excellent - short walk to the beach and surrounded by tons of bars, restaurants and shopping. Even though it is smack in the middle of everything, it is still quiet and serene. The room was immaculate. Even better than some of the big resorts where we stayed. Breakfast was delicious. Be sure to try something from the Indonesian menu. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved everything, would stay again.

Beautiful Property and Accommodating Staff

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cicada Townhouses 2 weeks ago and had the most amazing time! We stayed in the one bedroom villa with our own private pool. The place is so spacious and clean! And the outdoor shower was the coolest. Both of us still talk about how much we miss that shower.

Every morning the staff brings you a complimentary breakfast, and it's actually delicious and filling. (Tip: try the papaya juice, I still crave it every day it's so good). The bed is comfortable, there is TV and A/C in the unit, along with a mini kitchen with plenty of fresh drinkable water (free), snacks and drinks (cost), and a refrigerator.

The staff are the most gracious and lovely people I have ever met. They will do anything to make sure your stay is perfect. They called us drivers, taxis, picked us up from the airport and even drove me to the hospital when I got hurt free of charge. Every time we left our room for the day we would come back to a clean room and a made bed. They come in every night to change the coils in the mosquito repellents and it worked! I came prepared because mosquitoes LOVE me and I only got bit twice my whole trip.

The property itself is very quiet and serene. The pool is relaxing and clean. It is within walking distance to everything in Seminyak - the best of both worlds. We got to walk to some amazing restaurants, hotels and clubs, central Seminyak to shop, and to the beach while staying in a quiet area free from loud parties at night.

Highly recommend!

Value for money!

One of the best stays I had in Bali. The villa was spacious and clean, and despite being very close to the pool, it was hardly rowdy, and very relaxing.

The daily breakfast delivered to the room is a nice touch. The hotel staff always make a point to check in the night before on preferences. Selection was limited; but the quality was good. Juices, pastries, bread basket and coffee/tea. The banana pancakes stood out.

The service level of the hotel is superb. The first night, i had trouble with my suitcase and needed a flat screw driver to unpick my rimowa suitcase, the hotel staff searched high and Low throughout the entire compound for it, to the extent a aluminium can was cut open just to pry the lock. All done by the hotel staff while I was panicking on my conference call with my documents stuck in my suitcase. I really want to commend the staff for taking good care of me throughout the stay.

Location is great. Hotel is in a quiet alley off seminyak street, the hotel shuttle can drop you off, and a taxi ride back to the hotel (even with the jam) would only cost 2 bucks. Definitely value for money when you consider the price you're paying.

The only gripe I had with the room was the bathroom layout. There are no doors separating the sleeping area to the bathroom, and the layout between the shower and the toilet area is just awkward, so staying with friends maybe a little weird.

Cicada staff are very friendly and mostly recognizes us by face and I don't recall mentioning my house number in all of my requests at reception. Facilities were also well maintained and for a 2 nights stay, I can't recall how many times where the staff came into our house to clean up the place, e.g. before I came back from a dinner, they've made up the place, drew curtains and setup mosquito incense burner at main door and open air bathrooms, this is very nice and warm touch by the staff.

Location wise, it is a 3-5mins walk away from its entrance to the numerous shops and restaurants along Jalan Petitenget, very accessible!
