The staff here are lovely. Very accommodating and easy to deal with. The hotel room was what you expect for the price. Comfortable large bed and aircon that works a treat.

The toilet did have an odour but shutting the door fixed that.

Pool was free most days although only shady in the afternoon so plan accordingly.

My room was on the third floor with no lift. Stairs can be slippery in the humidity.

Easy walk to the beach and shops at your door. Would stay again.

Good service and nice staff. Multiple trip hazards between front desk and room - keep your eyes open! Bathroom sink tap hardly working and sprayed water everywhere. Approx 8-9 minute wait (with water running) for hot water in shower or bathroom sink when needed. Hot water cut out completely on last day.

Really nice first night stay, close to the airport. Great meals within the hotel. Single small lock on the door, walls and bathroom could use more upkeep. King bed was two singles put together with a hard spot in the middle. Still had a great sleep after a long flight and the outdoor environment and pool area of the hotel are beautiful.

Lovely stay.

I used to stay at this hotel, when they still Dyana Pura hotel, long time a go. Now the hotel call Hotel Paradiso Seminyak, it was so quiet when I was staying there, rarely I seen people at the restaurant, maybe because quiet sessions in Bali. Anyway I have lovely stay in Paradiso Hotel, the room ( Junior Suite) I like sitting on the terrace while I am having coffee and cigarette while looking at lovely Balinese style garden.

Bathroom covered in mould and the shower flooded every time we used it. I asked for a new room with a shower that didn’t flood and I was basically ignore and told to deal with it.
Every time I asked a question I received blank looks and shrugs.
Only positive was the nice bartender, but I don’t even know if the bar is actually part of the hotel or if it’s just next door and close.

The staff are friendly, the meals were great, rooms were cleaned daily.
So many options for dining and convenience stores in such a close proximity.
The only draw back on the property was the pool, missing a lot of tiles and dated.
But overall a fantastic stay

Stayed 11 nights. It was overall a gòod experien c e.
Resort is alittle old and some areas could do with some repairs.
Wi Fi signal is patchy in some areas including in the rooms and parts of the front restaurant.
Rooms are clean and serviced daily.
Typically with Bali staff, they don't approach you till summoned.

The property is in a great location right opposite a very nice spa and motorbike rental.
Quite close to the beach, nice staff and very nice breakfast.

The safe was not working in any of the rooms. The phone was not working in any of the rooms too contact reception. You had too wait 10 minutes for the water to get hot. Very old rooms. Very old hotel. Would not stay there again

Didn't get what was booked

I'm not one to usually write a bad review but our experience was so frustrating I feel i need to.
Upon arrival we were told that they didn't have any double rooms as they were fully booked (we had booked a double). After I questioned why they allowed us to book one they offered us one if we upgraded to one. We refused to pay so they said they would have a double the following day. So we got on with it and went to the twin room. We went down the next morning to ask when we they wanted us to move. We were then told that we couldn't have a double again that day as they had already given out all of the doubles for that night. No apologies were given and they didn't seem to care. After I made a slight fuss i was told that we could have a 'king size bed instead' (they pushed our beds together to make a bed up but was uncomfortable).

The hotel is not worth the money we paid for it. Stayed in much better around Bali for the same price.

Good location just a shame the facilities and service were poor.

Hidden Seminyak gem. Quiet rooms set in lovely well tended gardens. Great pool. Sparkling clean. Rooms cleaned and fresh towells daily. Reception staff Made, Putri and Lode couldn't do enough. Very professional and caring. Security staff are friendly and discreet doing their rounds. Mia does a great job with breakfast every day. Safety deposit boxes in a secure room makes for no stress for personal items. Great position a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Make sure you ask for transfers through the hotel when booking. Will be heading back soon. Great job guys.

AMAZING VALUE BALI HOTEL

Seminyak Paradiso hotel is the best value in Bali. Fantastic location. .easy access. .reception staff have good english..beautiful gardens. .our room was at the back soooo quiet. .close to the pool..the Aircon was freezing. .room very spacious ..shower fits 3 ..great pressure. .location is 5mins to beach plus a great value healthy eating cafe. We will be back !

Fantastic experience - comfortable hotel, friendly staff, quick service, cheap food and beer, right in the heart of Semanyak. The high point was on my birthday, the manager Nyomo distracted me whilst all the staff snuck up with a cake and sang happy birthday (they saw my birthday on my passport). Also, on the final day I had money troubles - no cash on me, my bank card wouldn't work in the ATMs and I needed to get to the airport; they went out of their way to help find a solution and get me to my flight. It was the little touches that made it a special experience - a big thank you to Nyomo and his staff for a great week, I'll be coming back.

What a shame it doesn’t look anything like the pictures ...rooms are very old and need lots of attention doors falling off cupboards no hot water and the pool erea is a mess all the chairs are broken and we had to set them up in the morning ourself cushions are all stained and smelly we booked for 9 nights and left after 3 very dissatisfied

The staff were very helpful and always very pleasant. The sheets and towels have seen better days but for $30 it's a great little hotel in a good location. It's good to be aware the photos on here are of the renovated rooms, the un-renovated rooms have really old bathrooms. The staff were happy to switch us to a renovated room when we asked. It would have been nice if the pool bar was staffed as it was always deserted when we had a swim...the pool is old but nice and clean so no complaints here!

THIS IS AN OLDER HOTEL BUT IS WELL MAINTAINED AND ROOMS ARE LARGE AND AIRY.THE POOL IS LOVELY AND HAS A SWIM-UP BAR.ALSO IT IS LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE HOTEL SO IS VERY PRIVATE.

Very good for budget price

I have stayed here many times and it feels like a second home
The rooms are quite large and has a king size bed , kettle , fridge , and refrigerator.
There is a lovely pool which is quite private at the back of hotel- not in view of all the diners in the restaurant like so many modern hotels

Our little disheveled paradise is handy to all things ,beach 3 minutes walk, shopping and eating right outside the front.
Staff are all fabulous our room was old but great the pool is tired but clean.the paradiso might be pass its prime but its still got all you need .if you want new and sterile its not for you .we come back here time and time again.its value for money and friendly as.

Lost money, refused cancellation when I phoned within day of booking. Meant we had to stay in cheap and unsuitable accommodation with only one bed for whole family. So unhappy with last minute I will never use again and will tell all I know, including on my travel web site.

Arrived at 3.30am our plane had been over an hour late. Person was waiting for us at reception, airconditioner had been turned on in room. All staff were cheerful and although many had limited English we were understood. The manager Yoga, was extremely helpful. Breakfast at location although not smorgasbord was very good.This is an older style establishment not everything is perfect however the room was very clean, bed large and comfortable. Located close to restaurants, night clubs day spas and a short walk to beach with sun loungers, umbrellas etc. Taxis available easily outside

Friendly hotel with character

The checkin was quick and accurate. Staff are very friendly and always said hello and welcome. Although set in a busy street it is very quiet and the blackout curtains make it easy to sleep. The room although old is well maintained and has more character than the sterile new hotels with their small rooms . Each room has balcony or patio and there is a big private pool at back of hotel.

The staff at Paradiso Seminyak were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. It is quite an old run down hotel set in lush garden beds that are tendered to daily and was very quiet. The internet was not reliable and can only be accessed in the restaurant. Breakfast was a little boring with the same 3 choices daily but cooked perfectly. The pool area was a little hazardous for those with walking difficulties and only 6 sun beds, the swim up bar is not used which we were unhappy with, so we ordered drinks from the pool phone and then got them brought down. Paradiso Seminyak was close to so many restaurants, bars and spa's. So worth staying for the proximity to all of these things. Room was spacious with very comfortable beds but bathroom was rundown, however the housekeeping was excellent. You must take advantage of the local driver Eddie who parks there regularly or the hotel can call him his rates are excellent and his knowledge is outstanding. We used him quite regularly. We enjoyed our stay for the price.

Paradise not quite but very near.

Although the Hotel Parasiso is in need of a refurbishment it is still a good place to stay close to all amenities, whether family or solo. Breakfast could be improved by go to local restaurants in easy reach. Staff are friendly and helpful in every way. Thanks Paradiso for a good stay.

Low budget/Cheap option - get what you pay for

The room served it's purpose in that it had a bed.
The toilet didn't flush properly.
The bed and furniture looked like op-shop stuff from the 70s

If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this isn't the place.
If you are looking for a utilitarian room at low cost, then this is the place.

Great friends trip

Overall experience was good. The staffs were friendly and the beddings linen were changed everyday. The only bad thing was that we can see mosquitoes flying in the room and bathroom. We do not need a posh accommodation therefore, a shelter is more than good. We wouldn't mind staying back here again for our next trip. Conveniently located too.

Paid extra for premier room and was just a basic room. Requested balcony, stated on hotel details with garden/pool view. we got a/c units and roofs. Nobody at swim up bar, no mini bar or tea/coffee maker and supplies or cups as stated on hotel details. Fridge was just a mini fridge. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend at all. Staff didn't care. WiFi, when working was only in restaurant not even poolside. Breakfasts were awful.

First impressions were not great and I initially thought that \"I'm only here for 4 days\". By the end of my stay I had decided that if I come back for another short stay I will definitely stay there again.
The room wasn't the cleanest, mould in the bathroom and the overall room was a quite dated. There is no pool side service which was a shame. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, the air conditioning worked brilliantly and the hot water in the shower was great.
I guess you could say that the place grew on me so I will return again.

While the staff we're very friendly, when I checked into the room it was dirty and the floors had obviously not been cleaned. The Bathroom did not match the pictures in the booking and the taps, sink, bath were very rusted and cracked and felt unclean to use. Soap was not provided in the room, amenities very lacking.
Food options were minimal so would've been nice to have more options. Location was okay and only 10min walk to beach.

Internet only works in the restaurant. I checked 3 rooms and they all had a musty smells. They only offered me rooms on the all section upstairs and they all smelled except for the last one which had a view of the pool. The staff was very nice but spoke basic English (knew basic information). They were excellent at accommodating my reservation as I arrived a date later. They honor my reservation and did not charge me for not showing up the first night (plane delay)

Not 5 star but great value for money. Large room with large bathroom. Comfortable bed good hot water. Has fridge. No in room safe but office safe boxes were easy to use aided by very helpful staff. Good size pool with clean water. Ground kept clean by wonderful gardener. Old Balinese style hotel with character of its own. Laundry and cleaning staff as good as you will get in any other hotel. TV receives Australian Rules football live

I stayed at this hotel last weekend and I was shocked when I arrived.
the photos online do not look like anything that is there.

the staff were very friendly.
I did not enjoy the food expensive for very little food.
the breakfast was weird it said I would receive a buffet breakfast but I was limited to a menu.

Thought the taxi driver was having a joke. Told the wife it can only get better, i was wrong, being a largeish person the Bali doors to the room where a bit small, the room was as dark as a dungeon, the bedding was yuk, had a shower there,it took ten min for the shower to warm up. thought had temp right was in for 30 secs then was scolded then went cold again, In all not a great experance. left the next day. The pictures on the site must have been taken 20 years ago

Very nice hotel, 5 minute walk from the beach!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days to start off our travels of south East Asia. We were on a budget and paradiso is great value for money. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we had everything we needed, fresh bottled water delivered to our room everyday, clean bedroom and breakfast included. The beach is literally less than a 10 minute walk and the hotel is close to all the shops and bars. Would stay again!
