The morning of the 21st, the desk clerk that was on was rude she was not accommodating. My room key did not work so I was lock out of my room, when I called down to the front desk I got no answer I went down stairs there was no one there. After about fifteen minute wait she finally up. But it is absolutely too much to go into now so what I will do is notify Marriott headquarters.

Upon check front desk was not able to generate a room key. Clerk, was very apologetic and personally took us to our room. Room was cold so we turned up the heat. After being out for several hours we arrived back and met a very friendly, courteous and helpful Elian. She handed us our keys and apologized again. We got to our room only to find it still cold. Going back to the desk Elian said its a known problem. She apologized again and switched our room and made sure everything was working. She is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 2 or 3! A big thanks go to the kitchen staff who had to relocate morning breakfasts as the lobby/eating area is being refurbished.

The staff at the desk, while good-willed, were unkempt and in the impossible situation of making a hotel work without the bare minimum of resources.

Have you EVER stayed in a hotel where there were not keys? Where the machine which is supposed to generate electronic strips/keys is off-line for days?

The excuse which the staff has been instructed to repeat is that the hotel is undergoing renovations. This is inadequate. No one was working on anything. The place feeled abandoned and in general disrepair.

If you cannot supply services, you cannot expect to be paid for them. Breakfast was served in the bathroom and kitchen of a suite-- presumably transformed.
While the good will of the staff, although untrained in the hospitality industry (hence, inappropriate attire and demeanor), is admirable, the $177 price for one night was not covered by services provided. My room was 85 degrees; I had to go out to search for dinner and had to wait until the person at the desk was free to take me upstairs when I returned: NO KEYS!!

This is just not Marriott standards and not worth the price-tag.

Furthermore, the hotel seems to be doubling as a shelter -- which is humanly admirable, but, once again, does not quite coincide with the price-tag.

Very sorry for this decline.
I have stayed in this same hotel before, and while I mentioned something I thought unusual after my last stay, I returned.
I will not return to this run-down situation again. Most disappointing.

I slipped in the parking lot at 8:30 . I went into the lobby front desk and waited 5 minutes to report the incident and no one was there .
Also you mentioned that the hotel was under Covid precautions and not a single employee was wearing or had a mask .

This unit w/kitchenette (including d/w, microwave, full refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker. is also fully outfitted for serving a family meal. It is the best value in all the quality hotels––practical, reasonable. clean and well furnished. The spacious unit has a table for dining or games, and a desk area for working, as well as a TV that could be positioned for use with the bed or the sleep sofa. The only suggestion I would make, is for brighter lighting in the bathroom, as well as a small night light,

That is definitely not a Marriott hotel—at best, it's like an Extended Stay America. I won’t even mention the exterior, but the room I checked into had no heat! The maintenance worker tried to fix it for a long time but couldn’t. It was already past 11 p.m., so I decided to change rooms. But the front desk told me I had to go down to reception to get the new key card. Since I was already in my pajamas, I asked if they could bring the card up so I could pack my things. Yet, she actually said, \"There’s only one person on duty,\" and it wasn’t convenient for her! 😱😱 So I had to change clothes and go down to reception to get the key card for the new room. And they gave me an accessible room! Seriously?! By the time I rearranged everything and got into bed, it was already after midnight. From the time I woke up until I checked out, not a single person said \"sorry\" or even acknowledged what happened.

Room entry key did not work after two times trying to reprogram keys. Room was not made up between nights. Had to request clean sheets. There was blood on the sheets and it appears the sheets were not changed prior to our arrival. Had to request clean sheets and make the bed ourselves

The toilet didn’t work the shower drizzled the bathroom door didn’t lock. There was construction dust all over the room. The phones didn’t work and housekeeping came in the room, even though we had the do not disturb sign on the outside of the door. All three TVs came on at different times of the night on loud volume by themselves waking us up.

The room was average. Honestly, the only issue that I really had was the room had a strange musty odor to it. Like a wet dog smell. I get they allow pets, but other places I have stayed at allow for pets and didn’t have this musty pet odor. A few sprays of air freshener corrected this for the most part. The sofa was stained and had food crumbs under the cushions. Other than that, the room was decently clean and we did enjoy the added bed room for privacy. The staff was amazingly polite and friendly and is what kept this from being a three star review.

Best of the Road Trip Hoteks

This hotel is tucked away among the trees and it was refreshing to hear birds when we arrived. Everything was perfect - we appreciated the living space separate from the sleeping area. Two tvs! Breakfast was ample and varied. Nice stay.

Checked in online for 2 room suite. Arrived at hotel 1:30 and clerk said room would not be available for 45 minutes. Could not wait as we were going to a funeral. Got back to hotel at 8 and was told the room was not ready and they would need to put us in different non connecting rooms. After a long sad day very upsetting

AC was out in the main areas of the hotel, including the fitness room. The fitness room registered 85 degrees. Had we known this upon check-in, we would've gone to another hotel.
The hotel itself is older. Definitely needs some upgrades. For a marriott, I was disappointed.

There were cockroaches! We checked out within the first half hour of being there another place to stay.
The couch was dirty and the place smelled awful. Cockroaches in the refrigerator, I took pictures of them...on the food I had just brought back for dinner after I opened fridge again. There was a dead one in the hallway near our friends room too. We had to pack up young children and move to a different hotel after just bringing our stuff in after dinner.
Now I know why the place only had a about three other cars in the lot.

Its was okay..

The hotel was OK when I got my room and wanted to take a shower. The water was ice cold and would not warm up and on top of that all the soap dispensers and shampoo bottles that they provide you were all empty. We’re not refilled. the pillows, had stains on them. There was also broken things in the room while we stayed. But the one thing I can say I’m happy they are remodeling. I have stayed there for many times as a child so I get that the building has wear and tear but you know for the price you pay you would expect a better cleaner environment.

The property was beat up starting in the suite. Ripped kitchen chairs. Banged up and dented refrigerator. Bathroom mirror peeling from bottom.
Bed was clean and comfortable. Tv faced only bed but was large and nice. New coffee maker and toaster and dishes were nice. Dino g area well kept and breakfast substantial.

The hotel was a bit hard to find as it was set back and in an office park, although it’s not close to other buildings. The hotel itself was great. My room was much bigger than I expected and had everything I needed and more. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable! I’d happily stay here again.

The first room we checked into the fold out bed for our son was completely broken when we pulled it out of the couch. Went to front desk and got assigned another room and when we got in it had not been turned over it was completely disgusting. Went back to front desk and got our third room of the night and this one was clean, however 2 of the door handles would come apart when you pull on them. The front desk worker was very helpful at least.

Not impressed… Right after check-in we noticed the thermostat was inoperable and it was cold in our room. The employees initial response was that they were sold out and couldn’t do anything about it. She then said two others were out and they were being looked at, and she would add us to the list. Two hours later, after no updates, I called the desk and there was no answer. I went downstairs and there was no one at the desk. About 20 minutes later I tried again. The new person at the desk said the maintenance person was still there and would be sure to look at our room before leaving. Ultimately, they did nothing and gave us no updates. We added some blankets and slept fine, but were disappointed with the attitude and response of the staff. When I checked out the new clerk didn’t even ask about our stay. We’ll find another place to stay next time.

P.S. We were happy to have the bedroom separate from the kitchen area as the refrigerator sounded like an outboard motor.

The room was well stocked in the kitchen, and well planned out. However an air conditioning unit in the window let in so much noise from the freeway that it was disturbing. Why was an A/C unit there when there was A/C within the room?
The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, but the room was too noisy.

The staff was very nice,the dining area was clean and very well atttended by the staff.
The rooms left things to be desired. The bathtub looked like it needed to be replaced. Could need another safety bar. The toilet was so low it should be in a preschool. The ceiling had leak marks and was peeling in spots.The lighting was terrible.
When we arrived we asked what room family members by the same name were in and we were told the weren’t at this hotel. I called them and they were right down the hall. Also asked about another member by a different name and was told the same thing. They had all the spellings wrong.
I checked the rate at the desk for their price because I was told by a family member what they paid and Expedia charged almost $150 more. I will never book with Expedia again.

OK Hotel, Needs updating for sure.

It was an OK hotel, it is located in an industrial park so there are no restaurants with in walking distance. The hotel is in need of updating for sure. Older style. Bed was good, pull out couch had allot to be desired but worked. Bathroom was small and not as clean as it should have been. Needs updating for sure. Breakfast was OK. I had checked in online to make it quicker but it was not when I arrived. Don't know what happened there but it is what it is. People were very nice.

The layout of the suite with a bedroom that has a door is one of the main reasons I booked here (family with varying sleep times). The breakfast was good and the staff at the breakfast were friendly and helpful. The room’s cleanliness was fair/good. There were crumbs and dust & a child’s toy under the couch. There was peeling paint on the ceiling. There was rust in the bathtub. The vents need to be cleaned.
