It’s a beautiful hotel. Its location is so unique and beautiful right by the river Rhine. My room has a balcony where you can sit and watch the river. It’s very spacious and comfortable. We had a fantastic time

The town was extremely quiet when we stayed so not many dining options available. It would have been good to have some help with this from reception prior to arrival. The room was clean and appeared to have been updated recently. The room was of a good size and had a seperate living area, bathroom and bedroom. There were views out of every window looking out onto the river.
There is free undergound parking which is very secure and I felt at ease leaving my car there.
We ate at the hotel and the food was superb, especially the dumplings! The waiter could have been a little happier but everyone else we met was friendly and happy to help.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Schlösschenflair. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber mit wunderschönem Flussblick. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Altstadt von Unkel, sodass alles was man so braucht fußläufig erreichbar ist. Das Personal war durchweg sehr serviceorientiert und freundlich. Das Hotel war wunderschön weihnachtlich geschmückt, wir waren hin und weg =)

Schönes Hotel aber die Leistung hat stark nachgela
Das Hotel liegt wunderschön. Das Zimmer ist sehr stilvoll gestaltet. Leider floss das Wasser in der bodengleichen Dusche nicht richtig ab. Eine Enttäuschung war allerdings dieses Mal das Frühstück. Es gab zwar leckere Brötchen, jedoch der Aufschnitt sehr übersichtlich, der Lachs wurde nicht aufgefüllt und es gab außer Aprikosenmarmelade nur Billigmarmelade aus Plastikabpackungen. Auch gab es letztes Mal diverse gute Säfte. Diese Mal nur billige Standardsäfte. Das Konzept muss dringend überprüft werden. Positiv sind noch die frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen zu erwähnen.

Das Haus hat einen neuen Pächter. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, allerdings dauert der Check in und die Bezahlung der Rechnung etwas Zeit, da muss sich das ganze noch einspielen. Zur Zeit werden Zimmer renoviert und das Restaurant ist am Abend geschlossen. Insgesamt waren wir für eine Nacht zufrieden, die Auswahl beim Frühstück dürfte etwas größer sein bei 4Sternen, aber Preis/Leistung passt.

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar am Rhein und hat dementsprechend eine fantastische Aussicht. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das geht trotz aller Bemühungen auch an den Fluren und Zimmern nicht ganz spurlos vorbei. Da unser Aufenthalt zur Weihnachtszeit war, glänzte der Haupttrakt des Hotels vor lauter Schmuck und Glitzer. Alles war mit sehr viel Liebe dekoriert. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Rymligt rum med skön säng och väl fungerande klimatanläggning. Välisolerade fönster höll borta ljud från närliggande restaurang och den trafikerade floden Rymligt badrum med badkar, mer gjort för bad än dusch. Veldig hyggelig hotell. Imøtekommende betjening, flott hage ved Rhinen. Parkeringskjeller med enkel adkomst. Rommene var lyse, delikate, rene og pene, med veranda utenfor. Nydelig frokost i restauranten. Det eneste som var litt synd, var at hotellrestauranten holdt stengt slik at vi ikke kunne spise middag der. Anbefaler alle å komme hit, vi vil tilbake.
