Pleasant option in Aix les Bains. It is a bit of a distance from the SNCF station but there are busses. Breakfast was good and had good selections. The pool/spa are a bit more basic than one might believe from the description but were acceptable.

Not very updated and no AC outside the rooms. AC in room can't be set lower than 22.5 c which is too hot when it's 95 degrees outside and they have windows open all over. Dinner was so so and not worth the price. Sat us in a hot sunny corner so it was miserable. Shower set up was one of the worst I've seen in France. Hand held unit didn't fit the upper holder and hose too short so when raising it above your head it cut the water off. Staff was nice though.

Amazing stay. The room we were given was very nice and we had our own private rooftop balcony area that is bigger than the regular balconies shown in pictures. Spa access provided which was nice and the location is good with a good view. Only issue is that shower is very low down and we struggled. I am 5’5 and had to lean over a bit. My boyfriend is over 6ft so was harder for him. Also food we ordered was small portion sizes, not much to the meals so wouldn’t recommend paying fot if it’s your only meal. It tasted nice tho.

Pretty hotel with indoor pool
Pretty hotel with indoor pool (& steam room & sauna & spa) & restaurant/ bar). We travelled with our daughter & the room had her single bed in the entry hallway, so it was a good configuration. Room had a fridge. Kids are allowed in the pool.

Dated Hotel slightly Fawlty Towersesque!
The hotel did not have a children’s menu. They offered my children aged 8 & 10 veal as the only choice! In the end after some strong discussion they managed to provided a steak hache. The singer in the bar was very poor and appeared more like a family get together than something professional. It made us feel that we had stepped back in time to the 70’s. the hotel did feel slightly dated and not a modern hotel at all.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting aix les bains. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are spacious but have no A/C. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very rundown hotel
This hotel looks nice from the outside, but inside the rooms are shabby and rundown. Think old linoleum flooring, worn carpets. Couldn't wait to leave the next day. Also, they don't tell you in advance, but there is no internet access in the rooms. Guests have to sit in the lobby to use the internet, and even then it was extremely slow. The price was low, and you get what you pay for.

1.Upon arrival and check in we proceeded to our “family room” that was stuffy, stale, and in need of updating.
2.Our reservation was to include Internet after unpacking our things we attempted to logon but no signals. At reception and were told that in fact Internet is only in common areas. After a lengthy conversation with the manager it was decided to move us to a room above the lobby that the signal. The new room was a bit less stale but a view of the front parking lot.
3.Upon attempting to enter the swimming pool we were told that there was an aqua fitness class taking place, we would have to wait until 19:15. We then had to persuade our 3 year old of the hold on near to her bedtime.
4.My husband was told that he had the inappropriate swimwear. Apparently they only permitted skintight suits for men? The worker in the pool then proceeded to tell us that ALL over France this is the case. Well no, we are in Chamonix now with no issues.
5.Only given small hand towels at the pool
6.Our room was booked for 3 but we only got 2 towels in the room.
7.The smaller bedroom smelled terribly like BO.
8.At breakfast, overpriced, we had to cram in a small area of the dinning room with the other patrons because the server was policing the area had the majority of the tables set for dinner and it was only 8:30!

In general it was OK, the only part that I did not like was the pool and the fact that the fridge was not properly connected in the room. For the pool, there were no \"changing rooms\" available, so we needed to change directly in the room and then going in towels with shoes (because none of us had sandals) down to the pool. Did not like this experience at ALL. The rest was fine.

Ils n'ont pas voulu me laisser entrer dans la piscine car je portais un short en nylon et selon le règlement, il aurait dû être en lycra, ce que je ne porte pas car je n'aime pas marquer mon corps disgracieux. En conclusion, nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine, ce qui était notre objectif principal pendant mon séjour.
Au spa, les massages et autres soins sont divisés en tranches de 20 minutes et c'est la première fois que je vois cela. Je voulais réserver pour 1 heure mais il n'y avais pas de créneau disponible.
Le petit déjeuner est sommaire, tranches de bacon très épaisses, jus d'orange concentré, machine à café, lait et cappuccino où les produits ne sont pas frais. Il vas jusqu'à 10h, mais à 9h il ne reste presque rien.

j'ai réservé cet hotel pour bénéficier de la piscine, souhait que j'ai émis dès mon arrivé à l'acceuil. Arrivé à la piscine à 18H30 un cours d'aquagym venait de commencer jusqu'à l'heure de fermeture de la piscine.....Un concert dans l'hotel jusqu'à 22H...pas vraiment reposant.... petit dejeuner et literie correct.

Sejour decevant, les photos ne refletent pas la realite. Les chambres sont vieilles, elles meritent un bon rafraichissement. Pas de decoration, ca ne ressemble pas a un 3 etoiles. Cote Spa, le hammam ne sent pas bon, la piscine est froide. Si vous venez a Aix les bains, passez votre chemin et choisissez un autre hotel, cela sera benefique pour vous.
