A terrible experience as we attempted to check in we assessed the clientele and the safety of the environment and decided to cancel and leave. The security guard and the maintenance worker were in lawn chairs drinking in the front of the hotel. My wife and I didn’t believe that we were safe staying in this location and subsequently checked in to the Sheraton four points in Saginaw. In my 30 years of travel, I have never been put in such a compromising position. I am dumbfounded that this is a Wyndham Ramada hotel their franchise license needs to be revoked.

The building looks like it hasn’t been updated or maintained since 1954. Our room smelled like old lady perfume. The air conditioning unit made a horrific noise every time the compressor turned on. The breakfast was virtually non-existent, and what was available did not look like it could be trusted to be eaten.

they really need to update, the microwave looked dirty snd nasty, but come to find out it was just rusty, u had never seen anything like it before! the chair that was in the room looked like it should javelin been thrown out over 10 years ago, it was filthy, with spots and stains, I Never sat in it the hold time I was there! As far as safety, the back door or not sure if it's called the side door, but it stayed prepped open, so like anyone could just walk in!

Only positive comment is that the Check in staff was friendly and helpful.
This is a terrible hotel. Carpet was filthy and wavy in the room and throughout the hallway and elevator. Vanity faucet did not function properly. Bathroom was clean fortunately.
At 9:10 AM they were out of eggs, waffle batter and utensils at the food area. Breakfast attendant ignored request to bring more batter. Cookies were burnt, cold cereal dispenser was complicated and inefficient to dispense cereal, coffee was disgusting so I threw it away. Do not recommend anyone staying here no matter how cheap the rate! I’ll never stay here again!!!

The outside Ramada sign was not on or working and had hard time finding the place. Well a bunch of men drunk/high with a dog right outside lobby and were very loud. I could get get in the first room assigned to me. The second room was nice but not towels and used pillows cases to dry off. Got nothing for $120.00. The breakfast was a mile away from the lobby and really was brutal. Had breakfast elsewhere.

First of all in the handicap room they only give you one bar of soap and the sink is about 25 feet away from the toilet. If you forget the soap in the shower, you have to go back and get it.
There was also plaster on the shower ceiling with watermarks coming through.
After the first night, the next day, the staff did not replace the shampoo or the washcloth. Nor did they change out the toilet paper roll, but left a new one sitting on the back of the toilet.
The second day the staff never came in to clean the room.
Breakfast was cold only eggs and sausage two types of cereal and waffles on the third day they had potatoes, but no condiments for it.
The exercise room had only three machines in it andvery cramped

I’ll never use hotels.com again with no refund policy. This place is in the middle of the hood. The kid working the desk reeked like weed. I asked him if it was a high crime area. He just shrugged his shoulders. Some of the tenants in this hotel decided to party from 2 o’clock to 4 o’clock in the morning. The whole hotel smelled like weed. 430. I got up and left. Did not get any sleep. I’d love to get my money back for this. I paid for a night sleep and didn’t get to sleep a wink. I don’t know how these people stay in business. Never again.

I booked the May 16th Ramada Inn stay in Saginaw, Michigan late that night for my wife. My wife arrived at the hotel late and was uneasy and felt unsafe due to the people hanging around the hotel and in the lobby. She checked in and after going to the room heard noises that made her feel unsafe. She immediately checked out and traveled to another hotel further down the road. Not a great staff - not very friendly. Accommodations were moderate at best. Locked out of hotel room, and staff offered minimal assistance in helping solve the door reader being broken and not working on any room keys. Would not stay there again or recommend others to stay.

The room had worn and buckling carpet. Noise issues that were not resolved. The staff did not resolve any issues. We would not stay there again. Ramada was sending several early morning texts , waking us up, seemed like they were trying to get you to leave early. Staff entered the room to clean because she thought it was vacant. We were still in bed at 8 am when this happened.

Should have been discounted for the jetted tub. Unable to use cause it had hair floating in the water. Not clean at all. Room had stains on furniture. Under the bed was disgusting. Dirty, bottle with smoke burn, lots of dust and trash. When we walked into the hotel it smelled terribly of it making us very nauseous! Also it was very cold throughout the hotel and hallways. It was also cold outside! Unsure if the heaters were turned on.

Thinnest towels and blankets we have ever experienced at a hotel. Hardly anyone staying at the hotel on a Friday night. I understand why.

There was plenty of room to park! Our room was at the end of a hall, and it literally took more than 10 minutes to get hot water for a shower. The breakfast was poor. Coffee wasn't working in the breakfast room. No fruit available. Only dry cereal was fruit loops or frosted flakes. The room was clean and spacious, but I don't know that I would return.

We had to switch rooms because there was what looked like blood in the hot tub and in the shower,there was hairs inside the tub as well and on the bathroom counter,the wallpaper was literally falling of at one part and there were random holes in the wall,the sheets had what looked like cigarette burn holes,the heater no matter what you did shot out freezing cold air, and the mini fridge smelled of rot, staff was great

The fold out couch was never cleaned from the previous stay, so at 11pm we had to wait for someone to come take off the old sheets, which were covered in crumbs, and bring new ones. When they first arrived to the room for that issue they didn't even have fresh sheets with them! It was like they came to check that we weren't lying about it. So they stripped the bed, left, came back with new sheets. Pretty inconvenient when we're trying to get to bed. The whole room was dingy and didn't feel clean. The breakfast room the next morning was so hot! We were all dripping sweat just sitting there; it was like a sauna!

The rooms were spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. My only disappointment really was the breakfast. It was adequate, but not a lot of variety. I would have appreciated more options for bread, like muffins or bagels, but there was just white bread. There was very little fruit as well. But other than that, the desk clerk was friendly and the rooms were great.

That was the FILTHIEST, MOST DISGUSTING ROOM I’VE EVER BEEN IN. Black hairs on bathroom floor and shower walls. Black mold on bathtub floor. First room NO HOT WATER. Front desk kid ( who barely spoke English) blamed that on “small pipes!!!” He offered another room to us and when I said are there magical pipes going to the new room, he said this one will have hot water. So apparently he knowingly put us in a room without hot water.
It actually did have hot water, but I promise you no cleaning person has entered that room in years. My husband and I have never been so happy to leave in our entire lives.
The surrounding area felt very menacing and we did not feel safe parking our car in their lot.

Honestly for the price I paid it was what was expected. What was not expected was I had to pay a $100 deposit that was not disclosed until check in. At check in was told the deposit was a hold until we checked out. Upon checking out I was told it would be back on my card in about an hour. I checked a few hours later and it was not. I called the front desk and was told 4-5 business days. He stated there is no bank that would give the deposit back before then. That's not true, I have had plenty on deposits given back with in an hour. To me this sounds like no one wants to actually to the job required and just tell the customer what ever. I can't argue cause it won't give the money sooner. So I can give a review. I think this information needs to be given up front not after check in or check out.
Other than that the experience was good. Very quiet and pleasant. Easy access to my room.

This place is nastiest hotel I’ve ever been too!!! First we got here the room we paid for wasn’t the room we got! We were supposed to get a jacuzzi room and got just a plain king size bed room. There were toenail clippings all over our floor by our bed my husband stepped on them!! Front desk was was extremely rude and sketchy! Doors didn’t lock all the way either! Stains on the bed and floor. Dust and dirt on the tv stands. Absolutely will NEVER return here!!

I am giving this a 5 star because this hotel is clean, quiet, and everything I needed. I had read the reviews to know that it was dated and there was road construction around the area. I was traveling for work, and could not justify the price tag of the \"modern\" hotels when all I needed was a bed. For an older hotel this was very clean, and I would definitely stay here again.

We were shocked at our room. It desperately needs remodeling. Certainty did not look anything like the photos. The sign outside wasn't even lit up. My husband had to fix the bathroom sink.
Certainty not a Ramada standard. We will never stay there again and would never recommend your hotel.
