Good location within walking distance to the old town, beach and port area. Our request for a quiet room on high floor was granted. Room was big, clean and comfortable. The pool area was small but we managed to get sunbeds when we needed them. Would have liked more coathangers. We had to ask for more coffee pods as they weren't topped up automatically. We were room only so can't comment on breakfast

The room was comfortable but a double room would have been preferable to a twin. The bar was purely functional and not very enticing and would not encourage one to linger. Breakfast offered a large attractive selection of food but the hot food was actually cold every day.

When we arrived, we were given a seaview upgrade. We dumped our bags and went out. However, upon return, we discovered that the room was old, in need of renovation and the bathroom STANK. It was unbearable but they had no other rooms available that night. We got to change rooms the next day. The new room had no seaview but looked clean and renovated and had a functioning bathroom.

I had a wonderful experience at the SoHo Boutique Las Vegas in Malaga! The location is absolutely perfect – just a short walk to both the beach and the charming old town, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the best that Malaga has to offer. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, so you won’t have to go far to find great food.

The hotel itself is very reasonably priced, especially considering the prime location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable place to stay in Malaga that’s close to both the beach and all the main attractions, I highly recommend SoHo Boutique Las Vegas. Would definitely stay here again!

No view as booking

I booked this hotel as it was opposite the sea and had a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. My booking offered a balcony and said sea views. I was told on checking in that I booked a cheap room and my balcony faced the pool, but I was 2 floors below reception with no sea view. The jacuzzi was cold. No phone in the room to call reception. My bathroom had a smell of urine coming from the drain in shower. The proximity to city was great. I was offered an extended checkout till 1pm which was great.

The hotel has a wonderful location just across the famous beach La malagueta. Facilities and staff were excellent too. Breakfast very good and especially the fresh orange juice, but food was not warm enough and I would recommend to keep it warmer.

Good hotel, very good room, huge bed and good bathroom. I paid extra for a sea view and got one, but not quite the view I was expecting which I thought was over the pool to the sea. That was only a slight disappointment I had a good balcony and breakfast was very good. The location was great for me and several busses ran along the street outside. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to the harbour or 30 minutes if I dawdled along taking photos

Only displeasure was when I asked for a 30 minute checkout extension and I was rudely given a NO that cannot happen. Really, 30 minutes is going to cause so much trouble?

Lovely clean hotel, although refurbishing was going on but only throughout the day. The staff were all friendly especially Manuel on reception. The room was clean, fluffy towels, toiletries no complaints at all. We didnt have breakfast as we thought 12 euros pp was expensive as we are small eaters, however tea/coffee facilities would have been a welcome addition. Lovely location, on the seafront, short stroll, around 15-20 minutes into the old center.

Hotel is average for the price. We just come back from there. We had a room with a sea view but unfortunately some work been carried out under our room so its was noisy.
Swimming pool small ish so felt crowded.
Room big with a balcony but next to the busy road.
Mattress to firm for us.
Room was clean and towels changed every day.
Bus stop very close to the hotel so it's easy to get to the centre.

Hotel room / decor is a bit old and some signs of wear , a refurbish would be ideal , but everything works and was clean , a/c excellent quiet and effective. Overall recommend , location was very good.

Quite a way out. Very busy road adjoins pool area.

A bit dated and much further out than description implied. Scarcity of restaurants in immediate area although Sancha, local and unpretentious, was good. Pool area inadequate for size of hotel and separated from very busy road only by hedge. Beach over road just 4€ a day. I had room set back from road but still traffic noise intrusive and I live in a city. Some staff a bit surly but barman delightful, a real star. Breakfast OK but tinned fruit! Good €8.50 shuttle to airport.

This was my worst experience ever. Be aware that parking is so small almost so impossible. They charged us $90 for two days parking. Staff were so arrogant. They treated us just like we re stuck and in a \" take it or leave it,\" way. We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and a child. One of us had an emergency and didnt come with us. They gave us one room for the price of the 2 because we couldnt leave a child alone. We booked 2 seafront rooms and ended up with a small room with a view on the cafebar. Make sure you read any small discription because that is how they get you. They make you feel you re stuck with no options. Be aware of extra fees, and taxes that we were not aware of. We booked through Orbitz 2 nights and paid $540. At the check out we had to pay extra $300 between fees and other things. If I can give minus rating I would give minus 1000000000. They do not deserve even a zero rating.

We stayed at this hotel Dec 18 to 21 in the new wing and enjoyed that stay. The room was large and there was a good view. We checked in again on Dec 26 in the older wing, room 406, and I had noticed a very strong disinfectant smell, but also that housekeeping just cleaned it. That night I woke up to the worst smell and realized the bathroom ceilings and walls had a lot of mold. The smell was so bad that it was causing my 3 year old daughter to cough and cry, so after being told that there no rooms available I had no choice but to sleep in the lobby. The staff didn't rather seem to care, but I imagine the were uncomfortable with other guests seeing us in the lobby in the morning. They reluctantly put us in another hotel, the Hotel California. The next day the showed us another room that was available, room 319, but that bathroom also had a lot of mold. They have a chronic problem with mold in the old wing, the problem is obviously leaks in the walls and floors. It is a shame that management does not care enough to fix the problem because it could be a lovely hotel. I will never stay at another Soho Boutique brand hotel again. Never.

I liked how close the hotel is to the beach. It is also a short walk from the city center. The only problem we had was that even though it is 70 degrees in December, the hotel only has heat on with no possibility of putting on air conditioning. The heat was unbearable unless we left our balcony door open.

The hotel was very good for the price we paid. We arrived early and we’re ab to check into our rooms immediately which was wonderful. The staff on the desk each day were always helpful and polite and dealt with us in a quick manner. The room itself was a good size, not much of a view which was a shame but it was comfortable with a good location. The bar closes at 11pm which was a shame as we’d return from a day of sight seeing and dinner hoping to have a night cap before bed.
Over all we were happy with our stay.

Fantastic stop on our trip across Southern Spain

We love this hotel. We had a street view room and thankfully found a parking spot out front when someone left. The hotel was clean, comfortable, provided prompt and kind service, pool area was small but nice. The hot breakfast was amazing. Comfortable quick walk to several restaurants. Great beach promenade, the biggest downfall however were the JELLY FISH everywhere in the ocean! We were looking forward to swimming in the water, but chose not to.

Stayed for the last 2 of our 8 night \"cultural Andalucía\" tour (including Seville, Cordoba and Granada). Hotel was as advertised - modern and convenient.
We felt slightly misled about parking - all surrounding streets were short term parking meters making that impractical - so we were forced into paying €15 per day for the limited parking at the hotel - a rip off in my view.

Some room facilities poor - coffee maker didn't work and no shower head holder - which was somewhat inconvenient. I raised these things at check out but got no real reaction - a discount on the rip off parking might have been a good gesture??

Busy roads both front and back. Highly intrusive road noise and some fumes in pool area

Firstly, I emailed the hotel to advise them we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary if there was something they could do in terms of a nicer room which I was happy to pay extra for, the website offered sea view rooms so I requested one of those. They didn’t respond but that’s fine. We arrived, the hotel looked very nice and modern from the outside, the reception area, nice clean we were quite happy. We checked in no mention of Anniversary. We got into the smallest lift I have “ever” been in. Came out on 6th floor and was met with dated, dim, in need of decoration and repair hall way.Then got to our room it was a street view instead of sea, 2 small single beds and a very old tired room, very disappointed. We got changed and went to the extremely small pool there were a large group of young men and women attending a wedding very nice pleasant kids but as there were more than 10 of them the pool is now full!! Also there was a hen party at the hotel although the website said they didn’t allow them.Ok that aside the hotel is literally on he beach (you cross a road) we spent our week there every day €4 per bed perfect!! The staff at the beach bar very very friendly and helpful so we only used the hotel to sleep in.The rooms were clean and towels changed every day even though we hung them up as suggested but all in all we had a very nice break. The hotel is a very beautiful 15minute walk to the centre or marina well worth a look.i would return but not recommend this hotel

At the check-in were told that due to an IT system issue they were overbooked and we had to spend one night at a sister hotel near-by that was in renovation. As someone said, it was a case of \"off you go & see you tomorrow!!. Not a good experience when booking well in advance.

We visited Malaga for three days with a family of 4. Very clean place, nice pool and very close to the beach. Also close walking distance to Malaga core for visit. Only negative point is that the parking has limited amount of spaces. That being said we had one and we did not move the care during our stay as everything was close.

We had a room at the front of hotel (not sea view) on the 6th floor. Whilst room was spacious and clean it was rather dated and not like the pictures! Also whilst we didn't have our air con on there was a continual noise (We hate aircon). Staff all very friendly and helpful. Pool area nice but breakfast a bit disappointing- quite a bit of choice but rather big standard.

Nice, but...

There was no empty parking space while we arrived. Then, we wanted to make the stay one night over (we checked the availability on tripadvisor, hotels.com and their own page and there was a free room) but the staff few times said that they were full - they probably dont update the internet data.
The hotel is nice and has a seaview, our seaview was partly covered by another building (also part of SohoHotel).
The room was nice, spatious and clean.

The reception staff are professionally polite.
Location of hotel was excellent.
The rooms need tea making facilities i.e. small kettle.
The only food options at this hotel is breakfast which is limited.
They have a crappy sandwich dispenser and the coffee machine is worse.
There seemed to be a problem with the air-conditioning in my room, not a problem just Opened patio door .

Final note if you’re a person of colour Solo traveller visiting Málaga be wary .
