1) restaurant closed of an evening. No meals available and the bar closes early

2) limited breakfast options. €25 or nothing so if you just want a coffee then you have to pay the €25!

3) no air con in gym! Wouldn’t be able to use in the summer.

4) staff not particularly helpful except one young girl on reception.

5) rooms were nice. Clean and tidy generally

6) location to stadium perfect but too far from the centre unless you are willing to get a taxi.

The hotel is very convenient for transport to and from the airport. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate; unfortunately for my travelling companion there was no decaf coffee available and they were unable to supply it for the duration of our stay.

We enjoyed our two nice stay in nice. The breakfast was good but unfortunately their restaurant is not open Friday, Saturday and Sundays (we stayed Fri and Sat!) There is a tram service just 5mins walk away and you have to change once to take you to the Promenade.

The room smelled like sewerage. I couldn’t sleep. Told the staff and they admitted that some of the rooms have a smell coming from the toilet. They tried to fix it by spraying the toilet.

Older building refurbed into a great space - if you're visiting for a game at the stadium, it's perfect. My only tip is to order your own taxi or Uber - I had the front desk order me a taxi for the airport and he charged me 45 euros which is nuts.

We stayed the night after a game at the stadium and it was so convenient and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only issue we encountered was that the curtains were very light and so if you are a light sleeper like me you will wake with the sun or need a sleeping mask.

The staff were nice, some went above and beyond to help. The room was nice and big. Cleaned daily. However the tub wasn’t cleaned on one of the days. The table on the balcony very dirty with drinks sticking stains. The TV wasnt working with only one English Channel (CGNT) no CNN/CBS as listed on the the list. Some of the bulbs not working. Overall not bad as it’s a quiet area with good transport system.

Modern, clean, nice hotel. Great staff and service. Excellent choice in Nice if you are traveling by car or do not mind using public transportation to get to train stations or the coastline. A large parking lot behind the hotel, tram stop is 3 minutes away.

this hotel was advertised as 4 star and in my opinion ,struggled to make 3 star .Rooms were small and tired looking .The best part was location with airport and the pool itself .i chose because of the pool ,and nothing else .Staff were pretty friendly but again i was amazed there was no barman in hotel bar and pool bar .i had to go to reception to ask for service and still wait around ..This is not what you should expect from a 4 star and having stayed in many 4 star hotels around the world ,this was probably the worst especially when considering how much i was charged .I rarely leave reviews and normally only say nice things.

The reception staff were friendly, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was superb. The pool was a bonus too! It’s out of Nice centre but you can catch the train direct from St Isidore to Nice central station for less than 2euros one way, pp. When the tram stop is finished it will be even easier.

This hotel is NOT 4 star,
It is hardly a 2 star hotel, dirty room, rude owner and staff, they do not provide any room service and you need to get all the basics by yourself. Quite terrible in every way possible.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

A hotel for quick stop near the Nice Airport

The hotel is ok.. it’s clean and it’s easy if you need to spend a night or so. We arrived late at Nice airport and rented a car.. we had to choose a hotel that was near the ariport and has a parking. The parking is free of charge and you park by yourself. Check-in was quick and easy. Room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was ok.. not the best, but descent.

This hotel is close to Nice airport and the Allianz Riviera Stadium. The hotel restaurant seemed to be having a refurb when I was there so I did not see it. Very pleasant staff. Great room, but air con did not work. When I mentioned this at the desk they said perhaps it had not been switched on due to the cool weather! It never did come on while I was there. Just blew out warm air!
They also put a new locking system on the doors to the rooms when I was there.
Seems like a hotel refurb was going on.

Sitting on the balcony of my room in the evening, listening to the local frogs croaking was great.

Nice little bar. Had two meals on the restaurant terrace. One 10/10. I didn’t enjoy the other meal.

DO NOT USE LOCAL TAXIS. Trip to Promenade des Anglais on first night (9.6 km/15mins) €45! Before trip back I asked price in advance. €35. After that I used Uber.

Nice friendly bar just 5 mins walk up the road (Les 4 coins).

I didn’t explore locally, but driving North towards Auron is a breathtaking drive.

I would advise renting a car as public transport is not great.

Hotel was very nice. It was a one night stay as we were heading to Provence. The staff greeted us at midnight and provided us with cheese and meats and a glass of wine as we had not eaten all evening. Hotel is in an industrial area, but the service and accommodations were A+

Not what you'd expect given 4 stars

I was amazed that a 4 star hotel could be so cheap. The answer is that it's not a high-end hotel. I would have guessed 2 stars given: no shampoo or conditioner (only soap, and only in the shower, no soap by the sink), no iron or ironing board (located in a tiny room on the 3rd floor with barely enough space to breathe). But hey, it's cheap! Just don't expect 4 star standard.

Never been offer complementary drink as stated on my bookings despising staying there 2 nights, staff miserable.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, it was in a good location which was central to the activities that we wanted to do. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the restaurant had a nice dinner. There is plenty of free parking in the back as well as a garage (for a fee) if you prefer covered parking. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful and able to assist us whenever we needed. This is an Orbitz VIP hotel so we were upgraded upon arrival which was great! The breakfast was a bit pricey for us so we ended up walking to the bakery down the street and there's also a bio market within walking distance. The overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel was really lovely and they had a full bar as well as plenty of comfortable seating areas in the lobby. We didn't get to enjoy the pool since we went off season but it looked beautiful too. If we decide to return to Nice, we would gladly stay in this hotel again!

A great spot, esp. if you have a car.

Fantastic place, and beautiful swimming pool, a bit of a long drive to the center of Nice/old town/beaches (about 20 minutes), so you probably need a car if you are staying here... but there's also free parking included. We'd love to stay here again!

The lady on the front desk (Anne) I think she works the afternoons and evenings is so lovely and nice to deal with! She recommended and booked a lovely restaurant near the marina for our honeymoon meal. Very professional and likeable

Booked for 7 days and left after 2.
Left us in a room where the window didn’t open which was our only form of escape in a fire. After reporting 4 times they broke the window lock and thought that leaving us with a window that now was not secure was fine.
I complained and after an argument was given a new room only to be told the next day that I would have to move again.
At this point decided to give up and leave for a hotel that treated me a little better.

Also, because if it’s location the local restaurants don’t open on Sunday and neither does the hotel restaurant so eat before coming back to your room

Worst check in experience ever. We arrived at 10pm after and long day of travel and simply wanted to check in and have access to our rooms quickly. Instead, we waited over 20 minutes for the only employee working check in to stop chatting with another client, who seemed to be a acquaintance. We were than told that we had been upgraded to a better room (which we realized wasn't true upon arrival in room). Poorly designed bathroom (no shower walls or curtains, water goes all over the floor). Beds were ok, nothing more. Room was beaten up. Never again.

This hotel is very close to the stadium and very convenient if you are going to a match. The room is modern and comfortable. The only thing I was surprised with was the carpets covered the entire room, which was a bit odd !! Other than that it is a good decent hotel.

Great hotel. Ibra was so great, along with the morning desk clerk and the breakfast staff. They even made calls for me as I had no wireless phone capability. Refd us yo a nearby food cafeteria called Flunch. It was pretty grest food . They upgraded our room to a premium room with no cost to us. Hotel was in like new condition and morning desk clerk told me that it is family owned. All seemed to be very proud to be working there. They let us leave car there all day in garage with no charge while we went on tour for 10 hours. Need I say more? Breakfast buffet was great. Scrambled eggs and sausage yogurts sweetbreads, etc. Very tasty.

The Hotel is about 15 minutes from Nice... it's free parking, however, the Hotel is old, not clean, and next to a construction site - which is noise all day!!!
Staff not friendly nor accommodating... I will never suggest this Hotel to any of my friends.

Good hotel for somebody who rent a car, if you don't, better not be there.
Actually, room condition is better than $300 rooms at Nice downtown hotels.
But far away from the city.
They don't charge parking fee, others charge 20~30euro per night.

Hotel is ideal if you have a car and want to use this as a base to visit other locations. Very easy to drive to as sits just off the main road with excellent road links to Monte Carlo, Cannes and the road into the hills overlooking Nice. Would definitely stay here again. The bar in the hotel is very quiet and you need s taxi if wanting to go to the old town.

A great stay

Stayed here to attend the Monaco Grand Prix. Staff service was excellent. Great breakfast and the food in the restaurant was also good. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean.
It's a €40 taxi ride into Nice unless you catch the local train service which is cheap but unfortunately doesn't run much later than early evening and is quite limited on weekends. We weren't there to spend too much time at the Hotel but there's a really nice looking pool and sunbathing area.

This hotel had what I was looking for: good price, free parking, and easy access to the airport. Furthermore the hotel restaurant was very fine and provided an unexpected dining experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open Friday through Sunday.

Overall the hotel was very good. The pool is not large, but ok to cool off in. The evening half-board menu was limited and was changed only by specials on some days. Lovely breakfast. Hotel staff very helpful. Easy access to Nice and beyond by bus and St. Isidore train station, about 7 minutes walk away.

Nice hotel but wrong information on the web-side.

The hotel is not bad. they advertise a distance of 3.5 kilometres from the airport and that is completely wrong. Be ready to take a taxi since this hotel has not shuttle service. The taxi drivers pretend they don't know where the hotel is and they will take advantage if you don't speak french; so be ready to pay close to 100 US dollars for a 10 minutes ride.

The location was good right next to L. Eclerc as well as a Carrefour a junction away. The breakfast options for vegetarians were a bit pricey at 15 Euro per person but the service was spot on. The general maintenance and upkeep was spot on and the air conditioners worked perfectly. City and tourist attractions are 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic on the promenade. Recommended if the above wouldn't be a big issue.

Nice hotel, bad location.

Hotel was very nice, lovely pool, friendly, helpful staff. The only problem was location. We thought as only 5 miles from town, it would be easy and not too expensive to get to...wrong, there is a bus stop opposite, but the last bus back from Nice town is 20.15. To get a taxi back cost €40 (10-15 mins). Bus cost €1.50 each way. The only other problem was the hotel restaurant is closed sat and sun ( we did not know this), and had chosen to eat at the lovely restaurant on Sunday! our last day! as we had been to beach and Nice town during the day. The receptionist apologetically told us it was closed, and there was nothing else in the area. We were very disappointed, and the only thing as we were starving, was a self service eateries called Flunch. Food was awful, but filled a gap. Need a car, then it would be fine. Also, taxi to/from airport €40 and took 5 mins. Complete rip off with taxis.

Very outdated hotel for a 4 star with tiny rooms, but the worst part is the location. Even if you're travelling by car, when you come back to the hotel there is nothing to do around. There are almost no infrastructure except the kindergarten where children make different variety of noises all the time, which is annoying. Anyway, It takes around 15-20 minutes by car to reach the old town. Unfortunately the hotel itself doesn't compensate all mentioned downsides.

Good hotel in a safe, relatively commercial area,

Hotel was a challenge to find, and signage in Nice leaves something to be desired. Hotel was pleasant and the room was fine, relatively roomy for European standards. Loved having a small fridge in the room. The window was not very sound insulating. There is a school very close by, with children playing in the playground early in the morning. Overnight paid parking is underground, or one can park in the outside lot behind the hotel for free. We did the latter and were not concerned about our car. There is nothing to do in the area and nowhere to really walk, though we tried. It is an easy 15 minutes drive to the Promenade des Anglais, where prices for comparable hotels are higher. We did not use the pool, the restaurant or the lounge, though they all looked very nice.

The room itself was very clean, well decorated with a big flat screen tv and HD channels. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our only concern was the transport. Despite having a bus stop and a train near to the hotel, their last services were at 19:30 or so, so we had to go back from the city centre earlier. Taxies from and to the airport were very expensive. We recommend to book the taxi through the hotel. It will be cheaper (€40 instead of 56)

Absolutely worth it!

If there is anything i can find to criticize about the Servotel, it's the name. Who names their hotel 'Servotel'?. Beyond this, the hotel is incredibly fresh and neat. We received excellent service from Anna at the reception. The complementary tea/coffee in the rooms made our stay even better. The hotel is located far from Nice but we had a car and they have free parking. The neighborhood felt very safe. Mostly business complexes, shopping centers and a new stadium. If transport to the city is not an issue for you, you would be hard pressed to find anything near as good as the Servotel anywhere for the price.

Visited after reviews. The room is small but it's reasonable size. There is a comfortable private balcony in each room with table and chairs, which me and my wife spent the whole afternoon by reading book. With free wifi in room (LOVELY). Staff Romy warm welcome us when arrival in concierge. Definitely an asset to hotel. Also free big parking lot in hotel, no need to rush back hotel early. Just about 15 mins drive to Nice Center.

Ok hotel in a below par part of town. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were, on occasion indifferent. The bed was nice and the shower superb.

Nice hotel away from the beach

A nice little hotel, pleasant staff, and what a great swimming pool! We were glad we booked
The hotel Servotel because it wasn't as crowded as the ones closer to the beach! Too many
People and too congested right in Nice city centre. The food was very good at the Servotel,
The rooms are clean, as well. The only problem was finding the hotel, even with a GPS. We
Really enjoyed our stay for 5 nights.

Very good value and comfortable hotel

The hotel met our expectations, the inside is so much nicer than the outside. The staff was very nice, the breakfast personnel in particular. The room was very comfortable and clean. A good value for the price. We had a rental car and there was free parking behind the hotel in a parking lot. You can park in the underground garage for a small fee. There is a charge for the breakfast but there was a very good selection and we enjoyed it each morning. I particularly liked the self service coffee machine which included cappuchino. The hotel was a short drive from the downtown area of Nice.

A Great Deal!

We were extremely pleased with the hotel and our room. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. We only wish the breakfast buffet would have had more/better things to offer, especially for the price. Otherwise, we will definitely stay there again, whenever we have a rental car. (It is only an 8 minute drive down to the coast.)

Not a memorable part of our travels

The hotel is situated in an easily accessible area well outside if Nice. Need a car to get around. The reception staff seemed to be quite indifferent and did not want to engage in any way. The room was very hot and when we complained they simply stated that they had switched to the heating season so a/c was not an option. The balcony shutters did not function and even after informing the front desk it was not fixed. The parking lot was very dark at night and seemed unsafe. Badly designed drive-in and exit process.

Pleasant hotel that was tainted by the staff

The hotel was really nice and a lot better than I expected from the photos. Swimming pool area was a real bonus. Great if you have a car as parking is free however a car is almost a necessity as a return taxi into Nice cost over 90 Euros...do NOT get the hotel to book your taxi for you either as you will be charged from where the taxi originates, not when they pick you up. I was very disappointed that the hotel failed to inform us of this and put a real dampner on one of our evenings.

I was also very unhappy with the hotel staff with regards to the breakfast. We clearly asked whether breakfast was included with the room only to find on the day we checked out that we had been charged an additional 13 euros per person. The breakfast was nice, with a lot of variety, although I don't think I would pay 13 euros for it. This was obviously an example of 'lost in translation' as the staff in the hotel did not have the best grasp on English #albeit better than my French#. This tainted our stay somewhat and was dissapointed that no form of good will gesture was offered in order to apologise for the confusion.

Nice but FAR

All in all a very nice hotel.

The biggest drawback is the distance from the city center or the airport.

Since strikes are quite common in France, the train connecting St. Isidora (the little community in which the hotel is placed) and Nice city center, you might have to take a taxi to the city.

Taxi fares:
-Nice city center - 50 EUR
-Nice airport - 30 EUR
-Monaco - 100 EUR

We were unfortunate enough to have to spend around 150 EUR in 2 days just travelling around. On the last day we rented a car and we should have done that from the start!
