As everyone now knows Sonder went bust over the weekend we arrived. We checked in, went for dinner and on our return were told we had to get out by 9am the next day because the hotel was closing down!
Luckily we were able to secure alternative accommodation ourselves because Sonder were nowhere to be contacted. This caused a great deal of inconvenience as we had to lug our bags around until we could check in at our new place on Monday.
Thankfully Hotels.com were on the ball when I contacted them and secured a partial refund. Annoyingly we paid the city taxes twice but considering how badly some people are suffering because of this I cut my losses and accepted the refund.

La chambre est très petite, difficile à manoeuvrer et la lampe sur la table de chevet était brisé. L’ascenseur n’a fonctionné que le jour de notre arrivée, en panne pour le restant de la semaine. Même si on nous avait garanti que quelqu’un serait là pour nous aider à descendre nos valises dans les marches le jour de notre départ, personne ne s’est présenté. Séjour correct pour le prix mais je ne recommanderais pas pour plus qu’une nuit ou deux.

Everything was great, room was awesome, hotel was conveniently located.
HOWEVER the elevator broke on the first day and never got fixed. We were on the seventh floor and had to climb 139 steps, several times a day. On our last day we arranged for help bringing our luggage down but help did not show up. We are 74 and 71 years old and lucky to not suffer a heart attack. An apology and a refund would be greatly appreciated.

Yes supermarket nearby, air con was cold when we required it. Balcony nice and view. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Floor in room could have been cleaner (we found hairs that were not ours when we arrived). Room was not ready at check in time which was disappointing. Tissues ran out and they were not replaced even though I left the empty box in full view. Could do with a bit more soundproofing from street noise. Coffee machine in reception area was very cramped. Would suggest moving it to a more open area as right next to the lift is not appropriate. Good idea of luggage lockers in basement. We used this service.

The hotel had terrible service. No one at the reception desk for many hours. You need to call them and they don’t help you at all, they do the barely minimum.
The call center is not polite. I decided to stay a day longer in Nice at the same hotel, I booked it, and then I had to do check out and a new check in, leaving the room and wait for 5 hours until I get a possibility to go to the a room or I would pay for the hours as a late check out. It’s insane. The hotel doesn’t has enough lockers so you need to call again to someone save your luggage in another room. it doesn’t worth it.

The hotel was in a fantastic location and really easily to get everywhere. The hotel itself was okay, we stayed in room 701 on the top floor - the balcony made the hotel a lot better and it was overlooking the sea. The room itself felt a bit dirty, and was very dusty. The room was also very small, I would recommend the hotel for a 3 night stay but no longer.

위치도 좋았고 방과 시설도 깔끔했어요
일찍 도착했는데 지하 1층에 캐리어 임시보관함도 있고 1층에 커피, 물을 마실 수 있는 머신이 있어서 잘 사용했어요!
좀 아쉬운 점은 길가라 차 소음이 잘 들리고 층간 소음이 심했어요
슬리퍼 걸어가는 소리도 들려서 놀랐네요
나머지는 너무 좋았습니다!

Great stay!

This location was perfect, just steps away from the beach and the tram. It's only 8 minute drive from the airport and about a 10 minute tram ride to Old Town. The restaurant below the property had great food and staff. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious with AC. Our balcony view was beautiful.

Perfect Location Wirh Ocean View.

Yelo Hotel is the perfect location two blocks from the Promenade de Angels. Friendly staff and comfortable room. We loved have breakfast on our veranda/balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Coast.

Would try again, but with slight hesitation

A different experience when not at your typical hotel. Almost felt like a very expensive hostel. With just the room and no service, but was nice. I’d consider doing again, but also like to be able to call or speak to someone with ease. The app/website wasn’t working so hard difficulty getting the codes.

Never stayed in this hotel again.

The elevator broked down and we were in the seventh floor. The receptionist pretended us to bring our three heavy luggages down the seventh floors. Then she told the night shift receptionist to do that next morning and he couldnt do it because it was too much for him. Even we requested our daily room service from day one; we only have 2 days of cleaned room.

The coffee machine didnt work have of the time, housekeeper had actitud, she deficated on our toilette, it was horrible.

Check-in communication was chaotic. The attendant didn't seem to want to help us. The app is nice but the hotel has no one at the front desk most of the time. The coffee machine in the lobby was often not working and the room was incredibly small. If the price was reflective of the room and service, it would be manageable but hopefully Sonder will improve their hospitality.

A nice hotel near to the tramline. Staff were lovely. The room itself was a little tired & could do with being redecorated. We had a balcony which was nice. There is a lot of traffic noise as the hotel is on quite a busy junction. On the day of checkout the lift was out of order. I reported it on the hotel website but did not get a reply. In the end we had to haul our luggage down 4 flights of stairs.

Great rooms while small…hotel size apts offer sea view balconies with a good view of the Mediterranean and the units are clean and functional. The balcony is fantastic with blue chairs for excursion planning or winding down. Water is hot and very well cleaned. Good windows that cancel sound and privacy power shutters!!

Cela fait un an que nous allons régulièrement dans cet hôtel depuis son ouverture, je trouve que celui ci se dégrade très vite, certainement à un manque d’entretien régulier. À vouloir tout automatiser, le Check in devient très compliqué et ne justifie pas le nombre d’étoiles de l’hôtel. Si vous n’êtes pas inscrit sur leur propre plate-forme, vous n’aurez pas votre chambre, ce qui n’est pas précisé sur les plateformes. C est d’un compliqué, tout doit se faire depuis votre téléphone!!! Reste à espérer que vous ne tombiez pas en panne de batterie, sinon pas de chambre. Quel dommage pour un hôtel qui pourrait être si bien. Autre manque , c est le service petit déjeuner

The greatest concern was the cleanliness of the room and the linens. The sheets, the pillows, the mattresses are of poor quality, over used and in need of replacement. It is obvious this is an old, dirty motel (at best) with a fresh paint job.
Please see the attached photos.
I should not have to ponder if the marks on the doors and furniture legs are bodily fluids while trying to enjoy my much anticipated vacation. Additionally, no one should ever be asked to sleep on worn, dirty sheets and especially while paying $300 a night for a room.
My husband, my three year old daughter, and myself looked forward to this beach trip for months only to have it absolutely ruined by your establishment. I had to return home early because I could not sleep one more night in your room and honestly could not afford to spend another $2000 for a second hotel room.
Ending my vacation early and returning to Philadelphia should not have had to happen.

The worst “hotel” ever

The pictures of the room are fake. It’s much smaller than it is advertised. We were in shock when we arrived. There were cockroaches in the room. The towels were smelly. There were no curtains so the room is never dark during the day or evening. Location is in a very noisy area. I paid £1200 for 5 nights. Absolute robbery. I should be able to get my money back but it’s always a hassle…

Hotel was a bit of a walk (20 minutes) from the central area. It was easy to access from the airport (20 minute tram ride). Had a huge balcony and great view of the sea and promenade. Air conditioning wasn’t working yet as it was only May. They gave us a fan as the room was hot. The hot water didn’t work in the shower one day. It was easy to check in once you got the online check in straighten out. It was a bit of a hassle and confusion loading our passport info onto the app. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet at night to sleep.

Having the Metro right at the door made it very easy to get to the old town and Monaco too. Got to the airport in 20 minutes or so for 1.70 this morning. A bit noisy at night with sirens and scooters but we did not mind at all. Good food in the area and the sea is 100 m away.Highly recommend! Nice is beautiful

Excellent location. Close to the airport but the tram that runs to old town is just steps outside the front door. And being located right on the Promenade is spectacular. Highly recommend.
