The staff was very helpful. We did find a couple ants in the rooms every day. The air conditioner was not working on one day but the staff fixed it. Very convenient location from the Nice-Ville station. Be aware that the elevator is very small - for smaller individuals this will be fine but if you are on the larger side, this may be a problem. An easy walk to the Promenade des Anglais.

Staff and rooms were head and shoulders above other places we’ve stayed in the region. Location is great: you can walk to Promenade, restaurants, shopping. Lots of bakeries nearby, as well as grocery stores. Would stay here again.

Diame was especially welcoming and helpful with tips getting around, places of interest. All the staff were very friendly and kind. They asked me whether I needed anything often during my 7 night stay. Complementary, lemonade and snacks were available ever day.

My room was very small but bright, it had a balcony.

Hotel is located a ten minute walk from the train station. I took the train to Monaco.

I would return to this hotel and recommend it to family and friends.

The property itself was just okay. The room was very small and quite basic, with minimal amenities. I wouldn’t consider this a 4-star hotel—3 stars at most. The neighborhood was nice and felt safe for two female travelers, which we appreciated. The staff was excellent—that was definitely the highlight. However, we didn’t receive complimentary breakfast, even though we paid $300 + a night, which felt super excessive given what we got. Overall, if we travel here again, we’ll likely stay elsewhere for that price.

This is a good Bed & Breakfast. But the rooms are small. Actually, everything in the hotel is small. But that’s pretty much the story in the South of France. On the plus side, the staff was really friendly, which is an anomaly in France. In general, the hotel was clean, but the bed sheets were awful. We complained but the bedsheets they changed were no better. They had that crumpled stale sense about them that seemed to be in all their sheets. Even the towels were not new. They did not feel fresh at all. Honestly, if it were not for a the friendly staff and the awful experiences we have had in properties in the South of France, I would have said that this was hotel was lower than mediocre. But relative to all the other properties we used and the staff we faced, this was really not that bad. But I would frankly choose not to come back to the South of France and would opt for the Italian Riviera instead. Better service. Better food. Better properties. Better value for money. And being friendly is not an anomaly. It is a standard.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay here; we were very pleased with our stay. Lovely boutique hotel in a great location, around 15 mins walk from the promenade and 5-10 mins to the tram stop. The gentleman on reception was always polite, friendly and helped us out with an adaptor when we realised we hadn't packed any! Rooms were small but spotless and cleaned daily. Our only critique is the rooms do get very warm, being end of March the air con wasn't in use and with just a door to the balcony (no windows) it was too noisy to leave open at night. Overall though it was a great stay for the price we paid! Thank you!

I chose this hotel for its location and great reviews, and I had a wonderful week-long stay. Many attractions were within walking distance, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The train station was just a 7-minute walk away, and the Promenade des Anglais was about 12 minutes on foot. The staff was very welcoming, especially Diame and Noreen. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This was one of our favorite hotels so far. The location was convenient to the train station and a short walk to different parts of Nice. The hotel staff were excellent from the breakfast crew (Noreen and Isa) to the folks at the reception (Diane, David, Nicola, Tibor, Claudia, and Charles). We couldn’t have asked for a better staff. They were always helpful, welcoming, and attentive. The rooms were clean, well-lit, and had everything we needed. It matched the description and photos. We had adjoining rooms, which worked out well for our family of 4. I would recommend this for your visit to Nice.

The room was a little small, but lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable.

What made the stay most noteworthy was the friendliness of everyone in the hotel, nothing was too much trouble and the friendliness seemed genuine from everyone.

The hotel is close to the railway station and easily walkable to the Promenade Des Anglais.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was excellent.

Delighted with this small, charming, boutique hotel in Nice. Stunning art deco design, small but very comfortable rooms and the highlight: every staff member we met was charming, we received the warmest of welcomes and had a lovely chat with the man who checked us out, offering us a free croissant and juice from the buffet(we didn't buy breakfast as we wanted to sleep in!). The hotel is in a smart area that feels safe, a little walk from the old town and port area but we didn't mind that walk at all, and we also enjoyed the bars at Place Magenta which was a bit nearer. The hotel is a short walk in one direction to the beach and in the other direction less than 10 mins to the station where you can be in Cannes, Menton, Antibes and Monte Carlo in no time. What a beautiful hotel in a lovely area. Highly recommended and thank you!

Very small rooms. I booked a room with one quuen and one single. Once I opened two lugages, there was zero space to walk. The toilet was smaller than in an airplane. The window was to a small gang. The airconditioning barely keeping up with the room temperature. The breakfast was poor. Overpriced . This is a 2 maximum 3 star hotel. Buying from Expedia, you get the worse rooms posible.

My wife’s apple pro pods were stolen from her bag in our room & sold to a pawn shop during our stay. The AirPods were never able to be retrieved. The older male receptionist was not helpful to provide information on who cleaned our room or offer any corporate numbers/information. Hotel hires an outside 3rd party cleaning company and does not know who is going in out of the room (per receptionist) Called my wife an idiot. Never offered to upgrade our room nor additional amenities were offered during our stay. The hotel should absolutely NOT be a VIP Access hotel. No upgrades or additional amenities were offered. I am shocked how we were treated! Our privacy and comfort was completely violated. The hotel manager/receptionist did not care that an item was stolen out of a bag in a room that we paid to feel safe. This hotel ruined our trip, unfortunately.

Our experience at the hotel was very disappointing due to the unpleasant treatment we received from the manager.

From the outset, there was a misunderstanding regarding breakfast. Upon check-in, we were assured that breakfast was included, only to be met with contradictions at the time of check-out by another receptionist.

Although, after a discussion, we were assured that it had all been a misunderstanding, the manager approached us in a very unfriendly manner and insisted that we pay for breakfast, implying that we had misinterpreted the situation. Furthermore, we were taken aback by her threat to negatively rate us on hotel review pages if we didn't comply with her demands.

This poor rating is not only due to the 60 euros we had to pay for breakfast, but primarily to the unprofessional and hostile attitude of the manager towards us, stemming from a confusion caused by her own staff.

Regarding the facilities, although the hotel is visually appealing, the rooms turned out to be smaller than expected. We had reserved a room with a sofa bed, but it was not provided. Requesting a power adapter was futile, as they did not have any. Additionally, we were surprised that none of the four reception staff members, including the manager, spoke Spanish. The elevator was notably small, especially inconvenient if you're traveling with a baby stroller. The location was also uncomfortable, as it is quite far from the city center.

Hotel did not honor my Expedia gold status, I still had to wait till 3pm to check in, no upgrade upon arrival. Front desk Nicholas is very friendly tho, every time he would greet us with a smile and offer recommendations. Do keep in mind that this hotel is VERY small, bathroom is about closet size, so do upgrade if you can! Other than that, 10-15 min walk to most restaurants good location, quiet at night.

If not for the front desk staff Nikolai’s patient and customer oriented oriented attitude, we would have changed hotel the second night because the room which we saw on the hotels.com was so tiny that with our medium size suit cases there is hardly any space to go to the bathroom. No space on the sink counter plus you can’t open the bathroom door if someone is inside. We were glad finally Nikolai changed our room and this time round with a functional air-con and everything work out fine .

The air conditioning machine were set only for heating.
It was very hot and they said that only in 15 days they will change the system to cold.
I can’t accept this !
They asked me to open the window and a lot of mosquitoes entered the room because it was hot; of course.

The room is VERY TINY, you have to open the suitcase on the bed. So is the balcony, you can only fit one chair on it.

We stayed here for 4 nights. On the first night we didn't notice the shower drain was blocked, so when one finished the shower, the whole room was flooded. We had to change the room at 1 o'clock in the morning.

On the penultimate night, we stayed out late, so we left the \"don't disturb sign\" outside the room. But the next morning we got woken up by the noisy cleaner anyway: banging around the corridor, talking very loudly and knocking the walls next door... not pleasant at all. And we didn't get any housekeeping that day, despite taking our sign down just after midday... the receptionist said the cleaner had already left and refused to come back to clean the room.

We didn't get coffee/tea replacements at all from the cleaner, and we had to go to the reception everyday to ask for more.

Wouldn't recommend, unless you're only looking for a small room to store your luggage.

Great hotel close to the main train station. While not on the beach, it is only a 10 minute walk. Friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was good and not the most expensive. The room I had was small but it had everything I needed. What it lacked in size it made up for in a great bed and pillows, great bathroom, and a wonderful balcony. I would stay here again!

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating especially Nicholas at the front desk. The buffet breakfast was very good. The room albeit on the small side was laid out nicely and quiet. The hotel is walking s distance to the beach and the casinos. Our only issue was the parking was a distance away and for a two day stay was an additional $54 euros.
