The Hotel was a very cute and lovely 4 star boutique hotel. Very well prepared and presented for their guests and the staff were excellent.

I stayed in Very comfortable superior room with a large king comfortable bed for a solo traveller and the bathroom was very good, with an excellent good shower.

The staff working over my 3 day stay were Excellent, very hospitable and helpful and I felt very welcome during my trip.

One of the receptionists in particular was amazing, giving me very good advice about the area of Nice area and South of France in general. Including some nice places to add to my itinerary.
She also gave me some very good tips on where to eat some good French cuisine and seafood.
Her name is Stacey and her customer care and service was magnificent from check in to check out!
I definitely would return to this hotel .

Absolutely loved our 3-night stay at Hotel Le Soleia by Inwoods in Nice! Gorgeous décor, comfy room, and coffee/tea in-room were such nice touches. Sylvie at the front desk made our trip—she gave us city tips, a map, and top-notch service. Perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood but still central. A true 5-star experience!

Le Soleia was everything and more !!! Beautiful hotel, super clean, great customer service from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Sylvie at the front desk, super nice and helpful. 10/10 recommend. Rooms are really nice, the view from my room was really nice. Walking distance from the Promenade, close to many restaurants and shopping area. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and comfortable.

Great hotel made even better by fantastic staff .
The location is superb turn left 500m you're at the seafront and all it has to offer , turn right out of the hotel door and 500m later your at the railway station and off away for great day trips .
The neighbourhood the hotel is located in is super safe with great bistros and coffee shops ....really you could not ask for more a great place to stay and explore .

I loved the staff especially Luis and the ladies at the front desk. They were so professional and friendly. This was our first time in Nice and this hotel was in the most perfect location from everything. My daughter, 21 years old stayed on by herself for 2 more days was well taken cared of by the staff. Very clean and beautiful boutique hotel. Recently renovated. We booked 2 executive rooms. They varied a bit in size and layout but were decent in size, and balcony views were amazing. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good as well. We loved the location. Close walk to all the touristy places but located in a pretty quiet neighborhood. No crazy crowds or loud noises beyond what is expected from a city. Staff speaks multiple languages, so there was no issue communicating.

Nice hotel, very nice decoration. 15min walk from the central train station and also 15 minutes plus 10 minutes walk on the airport tram so very easy. The breakfast is also pretty good in a nice dining room.
Stuff very nice. The only complaint is the room is very very small from American standards. Still love the hotel.

For the price, this was a very disappointing stay. The bed was uncomfortable, the room was very small, the common areas are dirty and smelly, but what really took the cake is the fact that when we were going to bed, we saw that the linens were stained with blood. So we went to the desk, only to be given the wrong size linens. Suffice to say, at this price, you do not expect to have to do your own bed at midnight, nor to have to return to the desk twice to do so. At checkout, the employee was dismissive and did not seek to understand why we were dissatisfied with our stay. We also reached out to the hotel after our stay and they never acknowledged or responded to our comments.

We stayed at La Malmaison for 4 nights in August. We opted for the premium room with a terrace and the view was lovely. There were a couple of chairs and a small terrace where we could sip wine and enjoy the sunset every evening. I would recommend the hotel removes the carpet in the rooms as they were slightly stained. There was also some black mould in the bathroom shower. Other than that, we were happy! Breakfast was also yummy.

The service at the hotel was outstanding. Sylvie helped me arrange transfers before my stay via email and it was so helpful. She was also very welcoming when I arrived. The service from all of the staff was great. The location of the hotel is central and walkable. Not directly on the water which was my preference. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. The common areas such as hallways could use a little sprucing up but otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

Staff made it efficient and easy for us to check in earlier than the usual time and leave our bags so we could go for a wander on the beach. For money to value ratio in the central Nice area I thought the room was excellent, we upgraded to a deluxe room and it was spacious, with a large balcony and a jacuzzi bath. All staff, and in particular reception staff were really friendly and helpful making it a joy to stay at La Malmaison. We didn’t try the breakfast but I’m sure that it’s nice too. Only thing that could be upgraded (but wasn’t a huge issue) was the lift, there was only 1 and it was fairly slow. Also our key cards stopped working a few times and we had to get them changed, but the staff were very accommodating with this.

The hotel was good for our couple of nights stay in the city whilst attending the rugby world cup. It is perfectly situated in the centre for restaurants/shops and the beach front. We really enjoyed the market selling local produce. The room was quite disappointing for a superior but it did have a little balcony. The breakfast was excellent as always when staying at the Malmaison hotels. The staff were all lovely and accommodating too. We would stay again.

The staff-members were incredibly helpful and friendly...I want to say a big THANK YOU to Sylvie, Hakim, Felix and a few other front-desk staff whose name(s) I can't recall for making me feel so welcome and provided the best service I could ever ask for.

I must also mention how fantastic their breakfast was each morning...I was very pleasantly surprised at how good their breakfast options were....definitely one of the highlights of my stay! Thank you all for making my stay such a pleasurable and memorable one. I'll definitely be back at LA MALMAISON whenever I get the chance to be back in Nice!!

I’m pretty self sufficient but the few things I did ask for help with, I got it with a smile. Super helpful staff (from loaning me an outlet converter to arranging the transportation back to the airport) at a clean and quiet hotel. Not far from the water, the train station, shops and restaurants. Room was larger than most others I have stayed in while in France. Bathroom was small but normal for here. Great restaurant next door but it’s a bit pricey and the food was just ok. You can find better for less with a short walk.

Malmaison Hotels in the UK are excellent and it was the name that attracted me to this hotel, however, this is a mid-range hotel which would benefit from some upgrading. The location was good being only a short walk to the promenade in a straight line and the same to the Train station but in the opposite direction. The light railway stops close by. There is no restaurant but the receptionist recommended a bistro close by which was excellent. If your budget can stand it there is a gastronomic restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast is extra but was very good with a good selection of hot and cold items and a coffee machine where you could choose whatever you wanted. There is a flight of stairs to the reception so not great for disabled people. The room we had was large with a balcony and smart tv with free Netflix and movies. A special mention to the blond lady in reception who was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in organising our transfer to Cannes airport (sorry I can't remember her name).

Hotel is in a good location, less than 10 minute walk to the Prom & places to eat...the tram station is only 3 minute walk to connect to Airport. Akim & Sylvie were both very welcoming and helpful... be careful about the complimentary drink though, it is only free if you don't get your room serviced during your stay...breakfast was a bit of a mess as the scrambled eggs & bacon never came out together, so one went cold waiting for the other...I would still recommend this hotel for its location & staff

Very well managed hotel

A very comfortable hotel ideally placed for both the Promenade des Anglais and Nice Ville train station.
Most of the main attractions are well within a 20-30 minute walk. Bus and tram services are readily found from the hotel.
The very efficient Airport tram (Line 2 - single ticket price E.1.50 bought at one of the ticket machines) stops at Alsace-Lorraine station which is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
Without exception, the staff are professional, helpful and friendly and the hotel is extremely well managed.
The breakfast buffet has a wide choice of hot and cold foods. It's delicious and very well presented.
My (Executive) room was quietly situated and had a very decent balcony. Both bedroom and bathroom had generous proportions and excellent facilities.
Just a few adverse comments:
- The bedroom fits well into the hotel's general decor but it lacks warmth and intimacy. Some brighter colours and pictures would help.
- The bathroom has an impractical hand basin. Any kind of washing from it results in water overspill. Access to the shower above the (welcome) bath tub is not easy.
None of these comments would stop my recommending this first class hotel or my staying there again.

Sylive, one of your hosts was fantastic! She was charming, welcoming and helpful. She offered use of the lounge, was well-informed about the football matches and was attentive to us at the bar. She should mentor some of your other hosts who were not up to the same standard. As far as an idea for improvement, the carpeting on 2nd floor and in my room (21) was quite tired and below the standard of the rest of the hotel - time for replacement I think.

Fantastic trip away for our babymoon!

Such a great location for exploring Nice, 10 min walk to the train station (20 min train to Monaco!), and 5 mins to the water front. The staff were so lovely, Sylvie explained all the best places to go to us, taking into consideration my wife being 6 months pregnant. The room was great, spacious considering how central the hotel is, and was clean. Would definitely recommend as an affordable central hotel.

The hotel was on a great location. Easy access frpm the tram lones and to explore Nice. Our room was a large room with adequate wardrobe space. The location was quiet, no noise disturbance.
My only criticism was our ropm was not made up on two consecutive mornings despite is leaving the door request out. We had to ask for the room to be made up and coffee to be replensished.

This room was very dirty. There was disgusting dirt and slime between the sink and the shower. Dust on the corners of the room. And just multiple scuffs on the walls that should have been cleaned or wiped in a 4 star hotel. The air worked poorly. It ran all night and never cooked the room. The bedding was atrocious. I opened the pillow up to find grey lumpy filler. They were not true pillows at all. When we went down to ask for them we were offered no apology, only what’s your room number so we can record we gave you these. The stay was not a 4 star experience at all and lacking in almost every area.

The hotel was excellent and walkable to the main shopping and dining areas with excellent transport links. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had an issue on our 1st night as I'd requested a triple room when I booked, stating explicitly 3 beds, but this wasn't available till our 2nd night. We got around the issue fine on the 1st night. Note: I'm not sure if the issue was with Expedia or the hotel but the hotel did resolve it to our satisfaction.

Great team, very welcoming and helpful. Clean and comfortable room, delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Excellent location . Will certainly return here for my next stay in Nice.
