Our room had a garden view which was lovely. Nice sized bedroom and bathroom. As a reminder, in Europe, most hotels do not have face/wash clothes so bring your own if that is important. Also although they do have AC the property had disconnected it as it was becoming fall season. During the day the room was a bit warm but quite comfortable at night and in the morning. Just in case that is a factor for someone. Hotel is in a lovely and quaint somewhat residential area. Only a few blocks to the Promenade. Lots of restaurants very close.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very cute with a stylish interior. Our room was a good size with a great bathroom. The upkeep of the bathroom was ok and clean. Some attention to detail might be needed as some hairs spotted but nothing to bother. The shower was excellent with some lovely toiletries provided. The continental breakfast was simple and tasty available in a nice dining room and lovely terrace. Parking was limited but the staff were helpful. The area around the hotel was quiet and safe. But also not far from some excellent shopping, sights, restaurants and nightlife. It was a great hotel.

Absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! We needed to park a car and it was convenient and easy and a great price to park one property. Staff were very accommodating and the property itself was beautiful. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend staying here!

From the entrance to the room super dirty they dont even clean the entrance door of the hotel , room walls very dirty , bed very uncomfortable, everything was bad for this hotel they have a 4 star they should have a 2 star max . Photos have lots of photoshopped.

This was the perfect hotel in Nice for us on a mother daughter trip. Wonderful and attending staff. Quiet, clean and beautiful room overlooking the garden( our choice). Located central in beautiful area, close walking distance to train, shopping, restaurants and boulevard ( beach) We felt very safe and definitely got our steps in. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable service. Every person I met over 9 days staying at this hotel was incredibly friendly, smiling, helpful, kind and I looked forward to speaking with them. We will definitely be back. I won’t look for another hotel in Nice.

It’s a smaller hotel approx 50 rooms I would guess and immaculately clean in a great location. About 8 min walk to the tram and also 5 minute walk to the Promendade/beach.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The room we were given was much smaller than what we initially reserved, and it did not match the photos online. The room had a musty smell, and the curtains for both the windows and the closet were unattractive and outdated. To make matters worse, there was a lot of hair stuck to the blanket. After showing these issues to the staff, they did change our room, but it was frustrating to deal with this for our one night stay. Additionally, there was no one available to assist with our luggage, which made our arrival less pleasant. The staff were nice and they did help us regarding our requests. I wouldn’t recommend staying here based on my experience.

Hotel was situated in a good location in the centre of Nice, 10 min walk to the train station, 10 mins to the beach and 10 mins to the Main Street which was perfect. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly, especially Salim on the nights who was great at answering any questions we had. Room was comfortable and bathroom was in good condition. Air con worked perfectly. Room was nice and quiet. We had breakfast each morning of our stay which we enjoyed outside in lovely surroundings in the gardens. Good selection of breakfast items for a European hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would return if in Nice again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! It is centrally located and beautifully decorated. The rooms are clean and large. The best part is the outdoor garden area. The photos don’t do it justice. It is beautiful!!! Recommend booking a room with a balcony and garden view!! The hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful as well!

The photos of the rooms were misleading. Despite the glamour of the lobby, my was nothing like that pictures on the website. The room was dark, and the decor was a hodge podge of different colors and paint. The air conditioning didn’t work; paint was chipping off the baseboards; the entry door would stick, and the walls were thin.

Location was excellent- a 10 minute walk to the tram for the airport, a 10 minute walk to the Promenade Anglais and a 10 minute walk to the Old Town. Friendly service and a good breakfast. Beautiful secluded garden in which to relax and unwind. Good shower.

So glad we chose Villa Victoria for our stay. The location was perfect! Close to the train, Vieux Nice, the Promenade, restaurants and everything we wanted to see and do. The back garden is absolutely beautiful and a nice place to unwind after walking 17,000 steps a day. Someone said the street side rooms were noisy but we didn’t find that to be the case. Not bad at all for us.

The hotel is well located being within walking distance of the sea front, the old town and the station, as well as being on the tram route for the airport. Our room was fairly spacious, light and airy and it was generally very quiet in the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were very good quality. The staff at Reception were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to stay there again.

I asked for a high floor room away from a lift and was given one on the second floor with only one other room between mine and the lift. Luckily no noise could be heard from it. My room was beautifully decorated with mid brown carpet, had a comfortable double bed, fridge/mini bar, easy to operate digital safe, flat screen tv and tea/ coffee making facilities together with bottled water were complimentary. Lovely bathroom too with spacious shower cubicle and choice of hand held or rainfall shower. The hotel is very well placed close enough to the main shopping area in Nice and the seafront. Staff on reception very efficient and mostly very welcoming.

Store with groceries , water, wine, food, personal hygiene , really anything you need was less than two blocks walk. The front desk had a gal that spoke excellent English and was so easy to talk to, gave us directions and recommendations, hired a taxi for our departure, made the stay a real treat.breakfast was wonderful, the setting {we sat outdoors, but the inside looked nice too}the food options, all wonderful. Easy walk to the waterfront, marketplace, so many restaurants, shopping .Would go back in a heart beat! Highly recommend.

The Evening You Never Wish to Experience
Between Hotels.com confirming my room with full payment made almost 3 months earlier, and emailing the Villa Victoria asking for an early check-in, when I arrived the hotel did not have a reservation for me/family.
This is the last thing you want to experience after a long flight from the U.S. of 12 hours. I was left stressed and was left to figure this out myself. Someone messed up between Hotels.com and this hotel for this to occur.
Once I finally reached upper management at the hotel an effort was truly made to help myself and family out, which I appreciated! (They worked very hard at trying to help out).
Eventually another room was found at a different hotel which did not compare to the Villa Victoria. The cooling didn't even work!
I'm still not happy with the recent response received from Hotels.com to address this failure and the prolonged stressful situation that family and I were subjected to.
Beware, even with a confirmation received months earlier from Hotels.com along with full payment made, it still doesn't guarantee that you'll have a room when you arrive!!

Property needed serious maintenance and upgrades.desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. Hallways are depressing .they have updated few things but overall it needs a lot of work and repairs. They have very nice garden though.I’m not sure how they have gotten 4 stars. Staff was nice and helpful

Overall, I had a great experience. My only concern was the utensils and mugs were not cleaned properly. I had breakfast for two days in the row and found dirty mugs and cutleries. However the bed was comfy and the staff very helpful

We had a great stay at the Villa Victoria. The decoration of our rooms was basic, but they were large, air conditioned, and had the basic amenities that we needed. Another bonus was the convenient location to the train station. It was probably a 10 minute walk, but close enough to make getting to other cities by train easy and on the day we arrived we just walked to the hotel with our bags. The beach was a 5 to 10 minute walk, so overall a great location. Loved the garden for relaxing after a long day. Overall Villa Victoria was a great choice for us.

The hotel is part of a smart neighbourhood in Nice just a few minutes walk from the tramway stop from the airport, the shops of Jean Medecin and some nice restaurants. Promenade des Anglais is about 15 minutes away.
The rooms are large, light and comfortable and the garden is really pretty - a lovely place to sit if you don't fancy a cafe.

Great stay close to the promenade
Really nice modern, clean hotel on a quiet street, five minutes from the Promenade, 5-10 minutes to the tram stop at Alsace Lorraine (tram to/from the airport) and 10-15 minutes walk to Nice Ville gare/station. Very friendly welcoming staff. Nice breakfast selection, breads, pastries, cheeses and fruits with eggs and bacon. Limited TV channels (just one English speaking channel) and shower was a bit limp at times but a very nice clean, modern hotel with lovely staff and in a great location, happy to stay here again.

Cote D’azur was beautiful. Room was adequate. We brought our son, and it was clear they put us in the ‘kids’ room as there were scuffs and scratches all over the walls. Shower was poorly constructed, very small, and leaked out on to the bathroom floor. Room had mini fridge and nespresso maker, no microwave, no kitchenette. We did not use their breakfast service. Staff was nice and accommodating, they put a pack n play in our room upon request, which was a big help for us, they also let me use the kitchen’s microwave in the middle of the night. Location was great; very close to the beach and street restaurants. I recommend researching restaurants and not just eating what is easily available, we were not impressed with the close restaurants (but that’s not the hotel’s fault). Off season price was reasonable, we paid $130 a night in November.

Lovely hotel very well placed with bars, restaurants and the beach within walking distance. We used it as a base to visit surrounding areas. Nice is a gorgeous town and this hotel is amongst some of the most spectacular architecture. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We will go back.

It’s a 3 star hotel with some areas spruced up to try and be a 4 star. Bathrooms are updated and the lobby with some cosmetic upgrades in the rooms. The hallways have dark and dingy carpet, old doors that needs to be updated. The best part is the garden where you can enjoy breakfast. The breakfast is decent, with all the basic selections.
