Excellent good value for money only 200 meters from beach. We had a triple room with nice comfortable balcony. The lounge area of the hotel has free coffee, hot chocolate machine.

Don't do it. First, the staff does a really good job with a really bad hotel. I was pleased by the staff and how kind and gracious they were but it couldn't make up for this hotel. It's listed as a 4 star. There is no known universe in which this hotel is a 4 star, it's a mangy 2 star. There's an odd little hallway leading to an elevator off a side street to access the hotel; no lobby, no seating area, nothing that would be expected in a normal 4 star hotel. We were in trouble when I asked for extra pillows and they were completely taken aback. We were given a room and not offered the Expedia upgrade. When we went to the room, the ac wasn't working and there was black mold around the air vents. The room was a tiny little wedge shaped room with very little space to maneuver, dark and depressing. There is no balcony unless you're upgraded to the three or four rooms that have one. But why get a balcony to look over a convenience store and a dirty street where sketchy men hang out and drink after dark? We asked for another room as I have allergies. The hallways smelled dank and wet. Our new room had a full trash can and the toilet was dirty. In the night we discovered that the toilet seat was barely attached. All I wanted to do was get out of this hole and stay in a real 4 star. There's breakfast but you'll be competing with the fruit flies for the croissants. There are no redeeming features to this hotel. Don't do it.

I was initially worried that our room was small and only a double bed. However everything was just perfect. Location is awesome. Close to amazing restaurants and the promenade is 4 min walk. Room was really comfortable and very functional for such a small space. We slept very well in luxurious sheets and pillows

Arthur really made our stay even more welcoming. He worked at the front desk and offered to dry our few pieces of clothing. Life saver and we got to shower in the lobby bathroom as our flight was at 8pm and we checked out at noon. They provided us towels.

They have free water and all kinds of coffee 24.7 and free beach towels to use during our stay. Highly recommend this cute, comfortable welcoming hotel.

Great location, but it can be noisy at night. Our sink was clogged for the entire stay. They accidentally charged the wrong value, so they treated us to free breakfasts as compensation. Nice staff and good food (but it's the same everyday).

Wonderful stay in Nice!

The hotel is a perfect base for your trip to Nice and the Cote d'Azur. The location is fantastic, a few blocks to the beach and to Nice Ville st or trams. There are loads of restaurants and dessert options nearby - even a little supermarket across the street.

The hotel is very charming, totally decked out in their \"deck\" theme - pun intended. The decor and rooms are nice and just like the pictures online. The bed was comfortable and the shower and water pressure were both great. I didn't use the TV or wifi so I cannot comment on those. Thankfully, the AC works well because it can get hot and humid in Nice. The only negative was the elevator - which seemed to sometimes work and sometimes not.

Last but not least, the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks!

Good location but better hotels in same great location. Room was clean but smelled like molded towels. This hotel could be nice but owners need to remodel asap. This is definitely like a 2 maybe 3 star hotel. The only reason I just sucked it up was the great service by the staff, especially Arthur. He called me a day before I arrived to see if I had any questions and that they were excited to welcome me. He was helpful at check in and all staff gave good tips for where to go.

The staff was attentive and responsive to my messages and with out every need! We needed directions or taxi we had Yasmine and Austin take care of my sons and me. We enjoyed coffee and refrigerator for ledt overs and a balery and grocer was across the street. The locawas outstanding and near ever place we wannted to go during our stay! Great, central hotel in Nice. Staff were lovely and friendly, check in was easy and our room was available straight away. We had a premier room and was a great size, clean and had all the amenities required. We were on the first floor facing the street so was a little noisy at night, but we did stay on a Friday and Saturday night so to be expected.
Overall, great hotel right in the middle of Nice with bars, restaurants and shops close by, highly recommend!

Terrific little hotel

We booked this hotel as a centrally based room for a trip to a city we were visiting for the first time with a few thousand friends for a football game, it didn't disappoint. Rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable, we were greeted with by a lovely reception team and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We aren't party all night people so finding a hotel which balanced a relaxed atmosphere with a sense of fun was perfect. Close to transport links to both the train station and the airport and just a few minutes stroll to the sea.

Our room was on an incredibly noisy street so we slept badly, our room was also on the same floor as the buffet area so were awoken at 6am - unsure why you would our rooms on the same floor as your breakfast area!!? Breakfast was ok, staff were a bit slow to top up empty things so we had to wait a while. Disappointing stay unfortunately.

My daughter and I loved this hotel and we felt very safe .It was so close to the Mediterranean Sea, Old Town, the train Station, shopping , restaurants , markets etc. Nice, France is a very walkable city with this perfect hotel in the midst of everything. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff very friendly and accommodating in every way creating a home away from home . Do not hesitate to stay here.

We loved our stay at the Deck hotel Nice! The location is amazing! 1 block away from the sea and the famous boardwalk. Restaurant right there, a bakery and grocery store just across the street…10 minutes walk from the train station and the tram 2 to/from airport is like 7 minutes walk. Great staff and vibe, average sound insulation

The front desk staff was super friendly and helped us in a challenging time. Just for that, The Deck Hotel deserves a 10/10. The vibe was fantastic on the deck with free welcome drinks. The location was also great only hundred meters away from the ocean with many restaurants in its proximity. The only down side was the sound insulation causing us to wake up in early morning/late evening. Overall, I would stay here again!

They say they have parking but the lot is over a block away making it inconvenient and not properly advertised. It's in a good area and convenient to get to as long as you don't need parking or have a lot of luggage.

I would happily recommend The Deck Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. Right at the edge of old town and walking distance to the beach, shopping, great restaurants, markets and much more. It is also easily accessible from airport (just take the L2 tram to Jean Medcin) and from Gare de Nice station. The premises were very clean. The rooms are a bit tiny with little room to move around. But that is quite usual by European standards. The location was also quiet during the nights despite being in the busy downtown area.

The hotel is located at a nice area. There're public transportation stops around. If you like to walk you can reach most of the attractions on foot. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. Seashore is a few minutes away by walk. Cruise concept is lovely however smaller rooms are in the size of a cruise cabin. Breakfast buffet offers many delicious varieties.

Good location in the Grimaldi section. Right at the center of the tourist section and walking distance from the train station. The staff is extremely friendly and the $15 breakfast was very decent. Although we stay at the beginning of October 2023, the weather was still warm and one the night the room was a little hot and we had to turn on a table fan we found in the room. Not sure if the Air Conditioner was working at full capacity, but it also a concern the room temperature in a hot summer. We did not bring this up to the from desk and if this is just an incidental and temporarily problem, we will definitely stay in this hotel again.

initially front desk was great. rooms very small. our stay was a free drink for everyone. we made sure it was a thing. my husband asked and later was charged a drink. the next night the guy said no and was rude. following night the guy pretty much accused of us lying and wanted us to address our situation with girl who said we were right. horrible service. would never recommend.

Great location for exploring Nice

The hotel location was perfect for exploring all of old town Nice on foot! Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was basic, but this is all we needed. They have a great area for sitting, relaxing, enjoying a coffee, etc.

I drove into town and expected the hotel to have parking, as their online amenities listed 'parking available\". I do not notice the very small print that stated it is available in a nearby parking garage for 24 euros/day. That was an unhappy surprise. But, the hotel kindly offered us a free breakfast one morning because of the misunderstanding.

Room was poorly organised, literally a leg room to pass at the end of the bed plus a TV on the wall no way to get around it! Hairdryer irritating & useless have to hold the button all the time then overheats every 20 seconds for a minute! Toilet seat the slips each time you sit. Bed has a sort of pillow top protector that doesn't cover full bed just about a meter across the middle which is just, why? Very friendly lady on reception but the man clearly didn't like that we said the room was unsuitable saying we should check what we book. The said room corresponded with photos & had been upgraded & we should check when we book a room. Some response! No photo shows a leg width at the end of the bed. Oh plus we found a sock under the bed.. The young lady offered breakfast and apologised, extremely professional & friendly but the man gave a disapproving look when she did so. Not impressed at all & not what we expected from 4 star hotel. Don't accept room 405 it's ridiculous! All has been done for photos but sorry this doesn't work for us.
