Not clean. Not even in a "don't look too close" way just in a everywhere you look is dirty way.
When I arrived, the young man led me up the stairs to check in never noticing that might need help. I arranged a late check out with this same person but he failed to record it leading to the "owner" banging o. My door whole I was in the shower.

The service was excellent and a five minute walk to the Rue de Anglais and nearby sites.

The service is personal and very kind. They helped with all requests and were very prompt, courteous, and kind.

Hotel was very clean and in a convenient location. Room was, as advertised, very small and only accessible via stairs. When I say small, the shower is barely large enough to turn around in and there is not enough floor space to open two suitcases. Again, this is not a knock on the property - it’s what they advertised, but travelers should go in eyes wide open.

Very unique property with a French charm. Loved that they delivered croissants every morning. The hair dryer was broken, so they gave me one to use, which I appreciated very much! It seems to need a little tlc. The area seems safe and convenient, but it’s a little dirty in the area.

I had a lovely stay here. The staff was super kind. He even carried my luggage up to the room since there’s no elevator, and he took the time to explain all the details about the room. The location is very convenient, with a laundromat, grocery store, and the beach all close by. My favorite part was the fresh croissant delivered to the room each morning, hanging right on the door. Such a nice touch!

Don’t believe the good ratings!!!!

It was dingy and cramped with peeling paint and mold in the shower. The bathrooms smell like a sewer and are barely separated from the bedroom. But this was only the tip of the iceberg.

Every day when we left our room, we’d lock the door. And every evening we’d come back to find it fully unlocked. We asked an employee about this and he said only “It’s the cleaning lady.” We had to SPECIFY that we wanted her to lock the door. We returned next day to find the door fully unlocked again.

Finally, on our first evening around 11PM my friend and I were talking in our room, and a woman knocked on the door and asked if we could keep it down. We apologized profusely and were silent from then on. The walls are super thin. There was no music on, no TV, just us having a conversation.

The next day when we were coming back to our room the hotel manager (?) stopped us and said there had been a problem. He said we had been loud. We immediately apologized profusely again. The bizarre thing is that he proceeded to berate us for a good five to ten minutes. He said she had recorded us (HUH?!) and after 10PM you have to be very quiet (no one had said this). He said we were at risk of being kicked out and acted like we had committed a crime. I’ve never felt more unwelcome anywhere. I’m a quiet person, I try very hard not to bother others, and we stopped as soon as we knew. We were terrified the entire rest of our stay, tiptoeing, barely whispering, scared to brush our teeth. Horrible.

The hotel was absolutely charming and convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the very large tub. Elaine was especially nice and helpful. When we arrived, she carried our heavy bags to the first floor reception area and held on to them while our room was being readied and then left them in the room for us on our return from exploring Nice. The day we were leaving, she kept them for us while we took a train to Mentón and Monte Carlo. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend Arome and would absolutely stay there again.

I selected Arome Hotel because it was close to the beach in the center of Nice at a reasonable price. I don't recall knowing it was a boutique hotel. It was smaller and more rustic than I was expectimg.

That being said Arome Hotel was a very cozy and charming

From the moment we arrived, Pierre welcomed us like old friends. He made us a cup of coffee and held our bags until our room became available. We toured a bit and upon return our bags were in our room. The room was well styled, comfortable, dark and quiet. His daughter gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and transportation. It is a gem of a hotel.

I rarely leave reviews, but Hotel Arome was very special. It is spotlessly clean and well maintained, without losing its local charm. The staff were all extremely helpful (especially Pierre, who took special care to make the stay comfortable). Such a great hotel that I’ll probably visit Nice again just to stay there.

The isolation wasnt good we could hear people and cleaning from 9am and woke us up but not the hotel fault. And the owner is a great person and very helpful. Free croissant every morning which we found cute and nice. The hotel was close to the beach too. Overall good experience thanks :)

Arome Hôtel was incredible during my stay in Nice! The workers were so accommodating and nice, the area was walkable to many popular spots, and the rooms and common areas were kept very clean. I stayed for about two weeks and I had an amazing time! They keep your room stocked with coffee, hot chocolate, and tea, you wake up to a complimentary croissant at your door every morning, and they even have towels and umbrellas for the beach so you don’t have to spend money on the beach clubs or go buy your own. I especially liked that there was a code you would have to enter to unlock the door to the building or ring the doorbell camera so someone at the reception desk could let you in making it very safe! I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice boutique hotel that is only a couple blocks from the Mediterranean boardwalk. Rooms are typical and smaller European style. We had stayed in the nearby historic city that is very, very, very crowded. We appreciated the Arome location because it is walkable to everything. I highly recommend!

Great location, not far from the Promenade, train station, Old Town etc. Fabio greeted us and was an excellent host, even recommending and making dinner reservations for us.

(there is no elevator but not a major issue)

Cannot recommend a better hotel experience for my time in Nice. It started before check in with personal messages from Fabio helping smooth my check-in process and offer assistance during my stay in Nice. Once I arrived, I was cheerfully greeted by Fabio who walked me thru how to access hotel w/ key code, navigating the city w/ area map, and offering individualized restaurant and activity recommendations including day trips. My room at Arome was clean and comfortable - even the single room. As a solo female traveler, I felt secure and safe at Arome, which made my trip all the better. The complimentary croissant that you receive daily is delicious, by the way.

Again, can’t recommend this place enough and would stay there again (and plan to, when I come back to Nice!)

Perfect hotel in the heart of Nice

Friendly staff who is helpful & will recommend the best sightseeing, and places nearby, and share a small history about the district the hotel is situated in. And if you are willing to go on a small trip to Monaco, they will also be able to share some tips & tricks.

The hotel looks amazing inside and out, and it is situated in a friendly neighborhood - approximately 5 minutes from the English Promenade, from the street where a lot of restaurants and bars have found their home, and from the tram station that will take you from the airport to the city and back. Even though a lot of things are happening near the hotel, you won't hear any of it while resting in those comfy beds. To be honest, I don't remember when was the last time I slept so well and woke up so energized early in the morning while staying away from home. And that the smell of croissants in the morning is divine.

When I go back to Nice the next time (and I hope it will happen sooner rather than later), I'm sure that I’ll seek a possibility of staying again at the Arome Hôtel :)

Arome hotel was an excellent choice for my wife and I. We stayed 2 nights in Nice. The location is perfect. Only 2 blocks from the tram which brings you to the airport. And about the same distance to the heart of the Promenade. The shopping and restaurant areas were only a short 10 minute walk from the hotel at most.

One of the highlights of our trip was the excellent service by Fabio. He appeared to be the owner. If not, the owner needs to know that he is wonderful. He offered many helpful suggestions and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The location is quite convenient to transit and the beach, and it is in a safe area. Highly recommend! The service was excellent - Fabio, Barbara and Pierre made us feel very welcome (even though we arrived very late at night) and gave us a lot of personal tips about Nice and the Riviera. The room itself was small but clean and we were out and about every day anyway so it suited us - location was convenient, very close to the sea and a short walk away to the old city. We were celebrating an anniversary and they provided some special touches to help us celebrate which was super thoughtful. Plus there were fresh croissants hanging on the door every morning! Overall a very nice stay, merci beaucoup.

From the minute I booked our stay, the staff went above and beyond. They gave us information on travel to/from the hotel, the local area, dining recommendations, and were happy to answer any questions I had.
Check-in made us feel totally welcome to the country and to the hotel. And it actually saved us going to tourist information!!!! Everything about the hotel; doors, keys, coffee machine, air con, and then some, was explained on check-in.
The room was ample enough size for the two of us. Three floors and no lift - which they do state on their website.
We didn't opt for the full breakfast at €11 each. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were replaced in our room every day, and 2 fresh croissants were hanging on the door each morning. The room had a fridge so we were able to make use of that.
For some unknown reason our room wasn't cleaned on our 2nd day. Staff were apologetic and did their best to make amends.
The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay. Close enough to Old Town but quiet enough not to be distracting. Cafés, bakeries, supermarkets all in easy reach. We also walked to and from the hotel from the airport. It gave us a chance to take in our surroundings.
I would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Arome Hotel ❤️

My favorite stay in France. This cute boutique hotel is located in central Nice area, walking distance to the sea, old city and most of attractions.
Fabio is an amazing host for my stay. He is so friendly and considerate, taking care of the smallest things for you. He contacted me before my arrival and gave me a detailed Nice tour guidance. His personality and service are phenomenonal. I had great conversation with him. I like him so much. Barbara and Pierre are also great and I enjoyed my stay big time. A personal thank you to Fabio, Barbara and Pierre.
I have travelled a bit and been to different hotels, their service is beyond words. They know your name and help you with your schedule, they make great efforts to ensure you have a good time. I really appreciate their efforts and help. I feel so welcomed and nicely treated, feel like home.
If oneday I come back to Nice, I will definitely choose them again.

I stayed solo for two weeks and Fabio and the rest of hotel staff made my stay exceptional. They were friendly, personable and so helpful with not only meeting my hotel needs, but also with connecting me to local resources and great recommendations which made my first time in Nice a memorable one!!

This property is in a great location for discovering Nice on foot and a short walk to the train station. Very close to catch the tram back to the airport. The staff are the most kind and helpful!

Highly recommended! Great location only a couple minutes walk to the ocean promenade. Walking distance to the old town of Nice and all its great restaurants and attractions. Very comfortable bed and stylish, unique rooms. Even though it is in the center of Nice it was very quiet at night and I had a great sleep.Very nice staff who treated me like a friend. Exceptional. Great value for money. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Nice.

What a great experience! Very welcoming and helpful staff from the person at the reception to the night watchman who very kindly helped me with my luggage at 5 am and waited with me for my UBER. Many thanks to them. The room was comfortable and the location perfect. Highly recommend.

We couldn’t have asked for more!

The location was ideal, the room was clean and beautiful, and the service was impeccable. The hosts and staff went out of their way to see that we were well cared-for and were so helpful with suggestions for restaurants, stores, and directions.

We enjoyed our stay immensely, all due to the hospitality of the arome team. One night we wanted to picnic on the beach with pizzas and wine and the team gave us wine glasses and info on where and when to go. It was great! Highly recommend!

Great location, nice rooms but even better, the woman that works there is an Angel! Made adding an extra night a smooth process. Helped me with my very heavy bag. When my bag broke even showed me where to go to get a cheap one :) friendliest service
