Coming from USA with only one quick overnight in Nice, with very little time to visit unfortunately. This hotel fit that purpose perfectly. Has a hip, young person vibe. Kind staff. Simple, small, clean with nice breakfast and easy walking access to train station. Was quiet for us even with train station and street nearby. Long walk to the ATM at the CCF Bank down by the water but the exchange rate had no markup and no transaction fees, unlike all other bank (banque) in the area (we tried 4 others). I would stay again. There's a sister hotel next door that looked a lit bit fancier if needed.

We stayed at this hotel in Nice and we had great experience. This hotel was only five minutes from the train station and check-in. Staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms were very not super modern but cute, quiet and comfortable . We even had a little balcony. Free 24 hour coffee and water fill station was a huge plus in a city where water will cost €2,00. Definitely recommended.

Personally left this hotel after the first night and went to the Radisson Blu. Felt like a backpackers hotel. The room doesn’t look like the photos, it’s very old and worn. The hallway carpet was filthy carpet and the elevator has this weird They provided a refund but I would not recommend.

Was a very comfortable stay - worth it for what it was in a very expensive area. Could do with a bit of a lick of paint here and there. Also the water bottles wernt restocked downstairs or washed so we did this ourselves.

Awful - Would Not Stay Again!!

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was filthy upon arrival – dust everywhere, stained bedding, and a general lack of cleanliness. The bathroom was in particularly bad shape, with grime in the shower, a dirty toilet, and an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout our stay.

To make things worse, the in-room safe was broken, which made it difficult to store valuables securely. We raised these issues with the staff, but the response was either slow or dismissive, and nothing was properly addressed.

Overall, it felt like basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance were not being met. Definitely not the experience we expected, and we would not return.

To say these rooms are small is an understatement. Big bathroom is plus. Fresh crossaints and bread in the am is nice along with a fancy coffee maker. It was nice to have a hot water kettle in the room but hard to hang out in the room as you can barely walk around the bed.

All staff were welcoming and helpful, bar one (feedback was given to management), the petit dejeuner was good value. The room was compact but we travel light! Good bathroom and facilities. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Nice! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and main attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. I really enjoyed my stay in Nice. I was in the individual room, it was compact but enough space for me, very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. I quite liked the area, there were markets around and it is super close to the train station if you want to visit the other cities/beaches in Cote d'azur like Cannes and Monaco.

Step above a hostel

There were a limited amount of hotels available in the area at the time of booking. It seemed like the best option based on the pictures which were deceiving. Parking is across the street at the train station. Which was tough to find a spot. It’s not the best neighborhood and not convenient to any tourist areas. Check in was fine and the employee was help and nice. The hotel is run down, dark and creepy. The elevator fits 2 without luggage. We had to haul the luggage with 1 person and the other take stairs. Entering the room there is a desk made of particle board, a bed, 2 small round tables (aka your nightstands), and a chair. There were no toiletries provided. Not even Kleenex. No shampoo etc. just hand soap and body wash. The towels were old brown towels. I’ve never seen brown towels in a hotel. We were so disappointed and upset. I tried to find something else in the area and just eat the cost ($730) but what was left wasn’t much better. We set an alarm and got out of there so fast. If we would have paid under $200 then I would say you get what you pay for. This whole experience ruined it a bit for us in Nice. I’m just thankful it was only one night.

City Break!

Perfect location for exploring the city, and within 10minutes to metro and train stations.
Hotel staff were friendly and allowed us to check in early which was much appreciated.

Room was cosey, quite small but for somewhere to sleep and shower it worked well.
Plugs in the room were temperamental, with neither plugs at bedside tables working.
Balcony was a nice touch especially in the hot weather to allow some air into the room ( as stated its quite small so heats up very quickly ).

Was a great city break and the hotels location made it perfect for the type of exploring holiday we had in mind.

We reserved a triple room (the single bed was a little small…) and found the size of the room more than adequate. Having access to a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer and safe was extremely beneficial to our trip. A surprise bonus was a closet with shelves in the room!
The hotel location was excellent for proximity to the train station being within a 3 minute walk. Dining and shopping areas were also walkable.
There were 2 nights that were quite warm in the room where the ventilation system did not turn on. (Maybe it was our error!)
Overall we had an enjoyable experience and would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel SoCo is super convenient for the railway station and its totally walkable to the centre of Nice or the promenade. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they made the stay great. The only negative is that I didn't think the breakfast was good value for the price.

A really great experience- so close to main train station 5 minutes walking with trains straight to anywhere in the Cote D’Azur in less than 35mins, also 20min walk to the Promenade des Anglais. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with front desk open 24 hours. A special thanks to Leila and Sora for accommodating us and having our room clean everyday. Very eco with free filtered water to take to your room and good a/c. Blackout curtains, good soundproofing and great beds. Overall the hotel is comfortable and offers everything you might need, location wise is great, the staff is very hospitable and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay a lot and slept well. The only suggestion I would make is, although they were ok, maybe renovate the bathrooms a little bit, so they look fresher and cleaner, also the towels were clean but always smelled kind of musty. General tip, some rooms are a bit small so if you are a couple traveling with more than 2 luggage, I would definitely suggest booking a room with a balcony which are a bit bigger or a room for three.

Loved the decor/style of the hotel. Right across from the train station gave great transport links.
Cute balconies.

Marked down (fairly) for the beds/bedding, just didn't give a good nights sleep.
The bedding doesn't fit the beds & I've never stayed anywhere with that issue! Flat sheets constantly came off the beds.
Twin beds can't be moved apart & the mattresses are lumpy/uncomfortable - just not for us at all.
If nothing else you need a decent bed in a hotel.

There were other little things too that mean I sadly wouldn't stay here again.

I stayed for four days in order to visit Nice and make day trips to other towns, including Cannes and St. Paul de Vence, for which I took the train. The hotel couldn't be more convenient for the train station; it's less than 5 minutes' walk. To get to the beach in Nice is a brisk 16-minute walk. Though the block where the hotel is located isn't the most attractive (as is typical around the station), and the nearby streets are pretty empty at night, I didn't feel seriously unsafe walking back by myself from the beachfront around 11pm to midnight.

Everything in the hotel room was clean and worked, including, crucially, the air conditioning. The bathroom was large and the shower was good, but the soap bottle hadn't been installed correctly in the holder on the wall and kept falling on me. I appreciated the kettle and refrigerator in the room, though would have been happier if the housekeeping staff had responded to my request for more tea after the first day.

On a future trip I'd be inclined to spend more to stay closer to the beach and avoid the nighttime walks back to the hotel, but this is excellent value for money and offers outstanding convenience for transportation.

We got to Nice by train so it was just a 5 min walk to the hotel. Very convenient to the tram for the city as I was travelling with my 74yr old father. Plus close proximity to Promenade des Anglais as well. Will definitely recommend staying here. Plus on the morning of the checkout we ate at the hotel and it was a very good spread.

The hotel was nice and fit for purpose. There was always someone on reception which was great and the continental breakfast and free coffee all day were great.

The rooms were air conditioned and we had a lovely view from our room.

However the room was very dusty and very small so we had limited room for our suitcases. We were also only given one towel for two people and when we asked reception for another towel they just told us to look again.

The lift was very small and quite slow and unreliable which was not ideal for travellers with large cases.

However all in all the hotel is in a nice convenient location and it is certainly a good place to stay for a short visit to Nice.

Location was great, a few meters from the train station and a few minutes walking to Promenade de Anglais, great restaurants and shopping. The elevator was insufficient for high traffic but nothing to complain about if you don’t mind taking a few flights of stairs, the door was noisy and could be heard banging from the room. Other than that a fresh, clean hotel, helpfull staff, comfy beds, complimentary coffee, croissant and lemon water in the lobby area. Our room was a bit tight with two single beds so the balcony door couldn’t be fully opened. Bathroom was fresh, spacious and newly renovated.
Would definitely stay there again depending on the nightly rate.

A really nice touch and usual in France. We were very pleasantly surprised as we compared to other places we stayed. The beds were so very comfy.

Really pleasant stay. The hotel is less than a two minute walk from the main train station to get to Cannes, and only a 20min walk to old Nice, making it an ideal location. Although it was a small hotel, the breakfast offering was great and the quality of food was better than 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Room was small and basic, but clean with everything we needed - great hairdryer! Room temperature is the only negative I have - the air con never seemed to kick in and if I didn't keep the balcony door open for a breeze, I doubt I would have been able to get much sleep.

Very good value for the dates I have booked. Very close to the train station.

The only complaints I have is that the curve of the bathtub extends quite far towards the centre so it is not comfortable to stand in it. Also, some of the electrical switches/sockets had missing plastic cover but does not affect safety (cosmetic only).

Séjour sympa. La chambre est un peu petite mais ca fait l'affaire. Pendant le séjour il y avait des travaux quelques part dans le bâtiment et donc il y a eu un peu de bruit pendant une journée. Le petit déjeuner était bien mais il faut y aller un peu tôt. Un des jours on a tenté l'horaire non affluent mais il restait presque rien (comme c'était un lundi peut etre c'était du au depart des clients). Dans l'ensemble c'était satisfaisant.

Rommet var utrolig trangt. Med to kofferter var det omtrent ikke mulig og gå fra senga ved vinduet til badet. Ikke så lenge koffertene er åpne, hvilket er normalt for oss når vi er på rommet. Badet ok, men for dårlig lys ved speilet og dusjen var i halvmørket. Toalett måtte stanses etter spyling. Hang seg opp.
Frokosten var minimalistisk. Agurk og tomat kom først på bordet på onsdag, til da fraværende. Dårlig oppfølging for å sikre at det var eggerøre osv tilgjengelig. Samme med brød og smør, og etterfylling generelt.

La ubicación es muy buena! cerca de la estación del tren a unos pasos caminando, restaurantes cercanos y fácil de llegar a los principales centros de atracción. La habitación es algo pequeña pero confortable y el desayuno que está incluido vale mucho la pena!! todo muy fresco y delicioso.

Die Teppichböden im Aufzug bzw. im Treppenhaus sind der Horror! Mit Flecken übersät, schaut absolut asozial aus. Hoffe, dass die Flecken nicht alle von den Hunden, welche erlaubt sind, kommen! In denn Zimmern war zum Glück kein Teppich und daher einigermaßen wohnlich.

Hyggelig betjening, sentralt. Likte dessverre ikke frokost - lite utvalg og mesteparten var allerede tomt selv om vi var der på forskjellig tidspunkt (innenfor frokosttiden). Valgte heller å spise ute selv om frokost var inkludert i prisen.

El peor hotel de mi vida, asqueroso, es un fraude, las fotos no corresponden a lo que encuentras, sin espacio para maletas casi tienes que dormir con ellad en la cama. Un fraude total, reclamo fuerte a Joteles.com, como permiten este fraude y lo vendan a los clientes voy a demandar devolucion

Hyvä ratkaisu ja hyvä sijainti

Mukava ja erittäin siisti hotelli rautatieaseman lähellä. Yövyin useamman yön ja ilmastointi toimi hyvin (oli tarpeen). Huone ei ollut suuri, mutta riittävän kokoinen ja kylpyhuone oli oikein tilava. Vastaanotossa oli ystävällistä henkilökuntaa. Kahtena aamuna söin myös aamiaisen, joka oli hyvä ja monipuolinen.
