This place is more like a 2-3 star hotel at best. From the moment I walked in, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant food smell coming from the restaurant/bar downstairs. It made the entire hotel feel stuffy and unclean.
The surrounding area felt unsafe and downright spooky. I didn’t feel comfortable walking around, especially with the large number of homeless people nearby. It’s definitely not a location I’d recommend for families or solo travelers.
I booked two rooms in advance, yet I was still charged extra per night with no clear explanation. The staff couldn’t give me a straight answer, and it felt like a scam.

My husband and I enjoyed our 10 nights at the Hotel 66 very much! The room was comfortable, bedding and towels were excellent quality, and the hospitality of the staff was wonderful. There is a laundry mat a few doors down which was very convenient. Chef Elvie was accommodating with breakfast and was kind and helpful every time we saw her. . Masia our housekeeper was attentive to our room, and always with a smile.
This hotel gets a five stars for cleanliness, hospitality, helpful recommendations for restaurants and where to purchase an inexpensive suitcase (which was needed for our gift purchases to take home.)
Last but not least kudos to Esther, hotel manager who was always there to support with a smile.

The rooms were nice. Small but decent. The property is close to the train and other attractions which was very nice. The hot smelled like old fish in the lobby and hallways (not the bedroom). It was an intense smell that turned our stomachs. The rooms were pretty nice but could use an extra deep cleaning.

Idyllic small and elegant hotel managed by people who care about your every whim. Our balconied room was spectacular with a huge, modern bathroom and a really comfortable bed. The hotel is well situated just around the corner from Ave des Medicins--a prime shopping, wide boulevard, great people watching street. The only downside to our stay was no English channels on the huge, modern tv. But other than that, a truly memorable and satisfying stay. Thanks to everyone who represents this exceptional hotel for making our stay so sublime.

we loved our stay in Nice .... Hotel 66 was great the staff were fantastic, extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble and requests were attended to immediately. The one thing i would change if possible would be to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.... But there was that available in the dining room along with bottles water, still and sparkling available 24 hours a day. i will definately book again when we go back.

Firstly, this hotel is extremely easy to find being only 5 minutes walk from Nice Ville train station. The staff are very courteous and have a lot of information available for what you can do if you are looking for ideas. Also, staff can comfortably assist you in English if you struggle with french.

From the greeting and check in to storing our luggage at check out (and, everything in between) this is a wonderful hotel!:). They have comfortable beds , so sleep was soothing. Coffee and water is free and unlimited and provided 24 hours. The reception desk attendees were so kind and accommodating... The cleaning staff in the rooms & downstairs lounge were friendly and helpful, too. The Chef was cheerful and kept the area in the kitchen nice, clean. We didn't have the pleasure of eating breakfast, however, we plan on it next time we're here. Overall this is an amazing hotel that provides wonderful rooms and great amenities, and kind customer service.

Nice 66 was quiet, comfortable and clean. We decided to stay in Nice a little longer and wanted to continue with Nice 66. Victor was extremely helpful in making sure there were no issues with our extended stay and was proactive with checking our key cards to see if they were updated (they hadn’t) so we didn’t have to find out the hard way. The cleaning staff and everyone else that worked there were wonderful as well.

Check-in was quick and easy. The staff at the front desk were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Most of our interactions were with Eddy and Victor who were great. The hotel offers free coffee, tea, and cold bottles of water (still and sparkling) in the dining area. They also had a small ice machine available. I got a lot of use out of that witb my iced espresso every morning. Housekeeping was also quite accommodating and let us just switch out towels with out cleaning.

There was free hot drinks and water in the reception, to take whenever you wanted, which was very helpful. If you want to travel to the little villages outside of Nice, this hotel is the perfect location as you are less than 5 minutes walk from the main train station to get anywhere. We would stay here again.

Only slight downside is that the surrounding area is a little shabby compared to the rest of Nice, although personally I quite liked that aspect.

We ended up getting a ticket for parking in a no parking zone, even though we parked on a street in the middle of other cars parked in the same area. I had to change my reservation by one week due to a bad cold. I had missed the deadline for cancelling but Hotel 66 was accommodating and gave me full refund for the change.
I really liked the hotel from the minute I entered. I was greeted by Victor, the man who helped me with my changed dates. He, like all the staff I met during my stay, were friendly, greeted me by name and responded well to all my questions and requests.
The room, while basic, met all my needs. The bed was super comfortable and I had good night sleep from the beginning. It was relatively quiet and with black out curtains I was able to take naps in the afternoon.
I took breakfast 3 of my 7 days. The eggs made to order by the chef were excellent. There is a good choice of items including cheese, fresh baguettes and croissants and pastries, fresh fruit and cereal. They have a machine that makes a variety of coffees and they have juice and yogurts including probiotic drink which I enjoyed.
Finally. They provide free coffee, tea and bottled water 24/7. I especially appreciated the bottled water as I like sparking water and they offered that along with still water. It was great for my room as well on my daily walks.
