Good location - very close to the railway station and the beach (wallking distance); some grocery stores and cafes and restaurants nearby.

The hotel is old and outdated - everything is mismatched - I don't think it has ever been renovated. Our room was on the main floor close to the entrance.The room smelled moldy and stuffy. The plumbing is really poor, and the bathroom always smelled bad. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling.The sound isolation is non-existent - it was so noisy with people coming and going constantly it was hard to sleep. This space should not be used as a room.

The rooms on the other floors might be better, but this room on the main floor was terrible.

Overall was a great stay, we stayed for 5 nights and everything was perfect. Wifi wasn’t great but other than that everything was perfect. Staff were very lovely and everything was easily accessible. Rooms were also cleaned and maintained each day!!

The staff was very helpful but had only 1 person making and serving breakfast. They took way too long so we missed what we had paid for. Very very noisy inside the hotel. No sound proofing. You could hear every door open and close and all conversations in the hallway even after the 10 pm quiet time.

Quiet and quaint building with huge windows and shutters was adequate. The online photos show the best aspects, but overall the stay was just adequate. The walk to old town or the beach in 15minutes was the highlight. Staff was pleasant and welcoming but refused to call a taxi or uber for us when we were having issues with transportation.

The room itself was nothing special, and the shower was lousy with cracked tiles and no shower head, just a small hand held wand that was not so easy to manage while shampooing. Towels were old, stained, and stiff. Minimal shampoo and soap was provided. We stayed for a week and the room was only tidied up once. Twice the trash had been emptied, which seemed barely enough, They also had a policy of keeping everyone's room key in a public self-service,.key organizer, which seemed sketchy.

They did have a community kitchen and dining room that was unremarkable and closed from 10pm to 8am daily. We thought about cancelling after the first night, but there was a strict no refund policy, so we opted to make the best of it.

Great location, old outdated rooms

Room – The room was quite small and dated. The carpet was very old, and the bathroom, particularly the shower, was extremely small (approximately 2x2 ft) and in need of a full renovation. The design made it difficult to contain water, which may have contributed to an unpleasant odor. Despite these drawbacks, the bed itself was comfortable.

Service – The staff were excellent. They were welcoming, helpful, and even allowed us to store our luggage at no charge, which was greatly appreciated.

Hotel – From the outside, the property is charming, with a pleasant courtyard in the front. There is also a shared kitchen area with a fridge and microwave available for guest use, which is a nice convenience.

Location – The location is outstanding. It is within easy walking distance of both the train station and the beach, with a streetcar connection to the airport just minutes away. We were able to walk from the streetcar stop to the hotel in about five minutes, even with luggage. There are also electric bike rentals nearby, which makes exploring the area very convenient.

Overall – This hotel has great potential. With some investment in updates—such as removing the carpets, installing vinyl or tile flooring, and fully renovating the bathrooms with a more open design and modern glass-enclosed showers—it could be an excellent place to stay and one I would gladly return to in the future if rooms were updated.

Well. What a surprise I got from this low star/budget quiant Hotel. It may not be a 5 star Hotel but the staff and their professional and attentive dedication was definitely 5 star service. Clean comfortable rooms. Close to all amenities and attractions. I highly recommend this hotel. It made me feel like I was staying in someones Family House than a Hotel with Robots.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! I’ve travelled all over the world. The photos are nothing like the hotel. The room didn’t have a window. The air conditioning didn’t work. The power was shorting. It smelt like someone had died in there. My nostrils actually burnt from the smell. I’m the rooms were dirty. The room keys are left on a wall at reception when you go out and nobody was at reception so it would be easy to steal guest’s valuables. I left and booked another hotel. I could not stay here. I would not book this hotel under any circumstances.

Hotel approach is lovely, on a quiet street, very Nice-like aesthetic, staff are extremely helpful and couldn’t do anymore for us, the building feels very secure.
The reception sells soft drinks for fair prices.
The rooms are slightly dated however are large with en-suite, very clean and beds were made every day by the cleaner.
Location to Nice-Ville station is fantastic, 15 min walk to the Nice sea front, plenty of restaurants nearby!
Would like to thank the owners and staff, would recommend.

Our room was very small and initially had a little smell. Staff didn't change the towels or bedding or gave us toiletires until we asked for them. After that our room was sparkling clean, looking and smelling good.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is located just a throw stone away from the Nice Ville train station and near the tram and buses. It is very convenient and nice boutique hotel, but you have to ask them to take good care of your room.

The Hotel was a traditional property with a vintage feel. Basic facilities but perfect for a short stay of four nights. Comfortable bed and room with small shower room sink and toilet. Air conditioning. A unique Hotel. The owner / manager and her staff were very friendly and helpful.

We ran away after one night. Black mold on the ceiling, window on the street to keep closed, hair everywhere and on the toilet seat, and cherry on the cake a trimmed toenail in the sheets. No willingness to entirely refund, 400$ in the trash, thank you.

The hotel was in a good location and the staff were friendly. However, the room was very small for 4 people and they only had 4 separate twin beds in one room!! There was no garbage, hand soap or shampoo in the room.

A great place to stay, kitchen facilities were much better than expected (kettle, microwave and fridge). The room was great and cleaned regularly but you are required to leave the key by reception when you leave and this lead to us being locked out by the cleaners. Staff at reception were really helpful. It’s a great location for supermarkets and the train station for day trips, and only 15-20mins to the closest beach. WiFi is quite slow and there’s sometimes queues for the bathroom but there was a sink in room for washing hands/brushing teeth. Great value

Hôtel has loads of charm and is convenient to train, walkable distance to restaurants, shopping and beach. All the front desk attendants were extremely helpful throughout our 5 day stay. There is a common dining and kitchen area plus refrigerator to store perishables. Beach umbrellas that others have left behind are available to borrow. Our family stayed in room #4 which has 4 twin beds. It is located on the ground floor. Just outside its two large windows is a table with two chairs where many people sit to smoke and there is a daily luggage storage which is extremely busy. The shutters outside the windows must be closed for privacy but does not eliminate the smoke and occasionally excessive noise from entering the room. The shower did not have a hook to attach it to the wall so is only useable as a handheld. The set of six metal lockers in the room provide some space to hang towels and bathing suits but also made the room tight for four people. Having a drying rack would have been a more useful option. Our family travels light but if someone had more than just small suitcase there is not space for additional items.

At night time, the experience was not the same, there was another person that was unhappy because we rang the bell. We were unfamiliar with the keypad and could not find the numbers to input the code, it was our first and only night and we deserved understanding.

This property was so lovely. The environment was very comforting and the staff was super helpful. We checked in later than was allowed but they helped us so we could get our room that night. The building is adorable and parking as well as luggage holding and breakfast is available.

Lovely hotel with even more lovely owner.

The owner was extremely helpful and so kind! Exchanged room last minute with no problem, waited for us late at night when flight was delayed over 6 hours. Lovely hotel, will definitely be back next year! Everything was perfect.

super welcoming and friendly oasis in great spot!

a beautiful, calm, and welcoming courtyard await you from the not too busy street. simple, clean, and functional rooms provide a good break spot during the day and restful sleep at night. the 'dining' room and courtyard tables allow for self-catered meals in a pleasant atmosphere. but the icing on the cake is the super friendly and helpful staff! they were proactive in communicating with us before check-in, as well as during and after to make sure our stay was going well. in particular, they were patient and helpful with our questions about the local area, beaches, and cuisine.

all in all a wonderful stay in a great location, convenient to the train station, with good self-catering and dining options nearby, while still close to the old city and other interesting areas. thank you Marie-Pierre, Marta, and company!

I liked the fact that hotel lady was very responsive via email. In person too. I received information on what I needed such as I was given a city map where hotel lady showed how to get to certain places best way, I was explained what bus goes to airport and offered a choice of taxi service. I was assessed correctly by my name and I appreciate the fact that staff speaks excellent English.

Time managemrnt was not good so was mine .On my arrival I didn't have access to my room on time because of cleaning process. I came later then promised. On my last day my things were packed untidy into my bag by a hotel staff when I was away in town and was late to do my check out at 10.30. I was very late though time should be allowed for flexibility I think.

I admit I wasn't aware or didn't pay attention to strictness of check out time. I will learn from this experience though I felt invasion to my privacy.

I paid for two breakfasts, first I missed because of circumstances and relied on staff to leave it for me. Second breakfast was brought to my room next day which I thought was nice manners but I was asked if I drink with milk I said yes and milk was not brought for me . Just like warm coffee.

Hoover hazardously stayed for my time of being there in the middle of dark corridor on my way to a room.

This was a learning experience for me with few good moments.

I wouldn't stay here again nor I would recommend but everyone has a unique experience and views.

Only if you are after a backpackers

First of all the description hotel is incorrect. When we arrived we realised it is a backpackers! Bunk beds and shared toilets are mainly on offer. The hostel is just a couple of minutes from the Nice railway station which is a bonus but with that comes the run down environment, homeless on the streets, the smell of urine and other unpleasant experiences. A lot of noise all night caused by cars exiting the tunnel right in front of the building. Owner was nice, offered advise and recommendations of what to do. Only use it for an overnight stay as a back packers or a very basic B&B. We wouldnt stay there again.

The hotel is very near the train station and there is a good variety of restaurants nearby. The lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The room was small and shabby but looked clean enough. It's an ok place to stay if you are only staying one night and have an early start.

Decent for Price, Quiet Roomates, No Internet

The hotel was perfectly adequate for the price. The location is good (right next to the train station, many restaurants around, short walk to sight-seeing attractions). There is no wifi, but the room was clean and my roomates were quiet so overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Good for travelling on a budget

The hotel is very much no frills and basic, but has a number of good points: It is very conveniently located near Nice Ville station, feels safe, is clean and is a good budget option. Breakfast is provided at an additional charge, but there is not really anywhere to eat other than in the outside 'garden' - which doubles up as a car park. It is great if you are travelling on a budget, but do not expect luxury!

The hotel staff are very friendly, and the wifi works ... but the room and bathroom were dirty ... sweep the floors, wash them and give the bathroom a deep clean - even the tiles had residue on them.

Es como un hostel, no siento que sea un hotel. No hay ducha en el cuarto tienes que compartir la ducha e inodoros. Hay un espejo y lavabo dentro en la habitación que me tocó . Está a media cuadra de la estación de tren así que realmente lo que recomendaría para estadías de una noche nada más.

Ville have givet dette ok hotel en god anmeldelse, men den fik rengøringsdamen ødelagt, da hun kom 40 minutter før check ud og bankede på vores dør gentagende gange og råbte vi skulle ud.

Manden i receptionen var super flink da vi ankom.

Selve hotellets beliggenhed er også super fin

Vi kommer ikke igen.

Vores oplevelse var at vi absolut ikke fik det der var beskrevet da vi bookede. Service var der intet af.
På det fælles badeværelse, var der indelukket, fliser i brusenichen manglede og der lugtede af mug. Receptionistens svar til dette var at vi jo kunne åbne vinduet.

I forhold til parkering blev vi opkrævet mere end vi først var oplyst, og måtte parkere lige op ad skraldespandene, hvilket gjorde at der blev slæbt skrald op ad vores bil og gav ridser.

Vi hade en toppenvistelse här! Hotellet ligger extremt nära tågstationen vilket var skönt för oss som backpackade, det gjorde även det väldigt enkelt att uppleva alla de andra franska städerna i närområdet med tåget.

Väldigt charmiga rum och innegård men ganska simpelt inredda och skicket likaså. Men inget som påverkar en överhuvudtaget!

Det fanns en gemensam kyl och lite tallrikar samt bestick vilket underlättar om man vill leva lite billigare! Vi lämnade också in våran tvätt som de tvätta och vek så fint för endast 12€!

Väldigt gulliga och hjälpsam personal!

För detta priset är det ett riktigt kap, rekommenderar starkt!

O hotel só tem um ponto positivo: a localização! de resto é tudo horrível! Muito sujo, roupa de cama fedida, cama velha toda deformada que acaba com a coluna de qualquer pessoa, funcionários mau humorados. O banheiro compartilhado é um nojo.Não tem lugar pra colocar a toalha, o sabonete, o chuveiro velho e todo destroçado. A saúde pública deveria fechar esse lugar cuja aparência é mórbida e nevasta. Isso não é hotel mas um pardieiro.

Great service. The staff goes out if their way to help you. You will notice some stuff are outdated inside the room like the carpet and door, and when the neighbor is trying to unlock their door you’ll hear it as your own door. But that’s all fine, and the location was perfect: a minute walk from the train station.
