Second time returning here, was slightly disappointed this time. Rooms were not quite what they were however they were spacious and comfortable. Only let down was the noise on the Main Street which started at 8am everyday, and was constant. Given the Hôtel knew this a room on the other side would have been better.
We did enjoy our stay and the rooftop bar is a nice bonus.

The Privilege rooms we booked were great (on the 7th floor), with comfy beds and good room facilities. Staff very friendly and accommodating our requests.

Only negatives were that the bar area above our balcony got busy one night and unfortunately the people attending were smoking and flicking ash onto our balcony whilst we were there and then later. Needs more barriers to prevent this.

An awful drain smell most evenings in the corridor, but not in the rooms.

Pool area was ok, but didn’t use a lot. Garden area is a little tired and could be used more. Maybe a second pool in this area?

Overall we enjoyed our stayed and was perfect location for our week in Nice, and I would recommend

Great location with easy walk to Old Town, many restaurants. Room is large, clean. Biggest problem is AC is not cooling enough, room is stifling hot in September. When we called about it, a service staff was sent quickly to look in the vent and said it’s normal, nothing wrong. He helpfully brought in a fan to help moving the air. So good effort but disappointed that a nice 4 stars hotel don’t have adequate AC, hate to think what’s like in July/Aug

Annonce surprise d'une taxe de séjour de 48 Euros annoncée lors du départ ce qui n'est ni honnête, ni transparent.
Le drain du lavabo de la salle de bain dégage des fortes odeurs d'urine par moment.

It was a great stay! We worked with the concierge named Anja who was incredibly helpful. We needed help booking tours through the hotel and she took care of everything for us, she was always checking in to see how we’re doing and if we needed anything. We were also celebrating our engagement and they added a really nice personal touch to our room. Thank you Anja!!! Location was ok, it’s right in city centre so be prepared for it to be busy and packed. Also, everywhere we wanted to walk to was around 20-40min walk. The rooftop pool and bar was very convenient and nice to have during the hot summer months. We did notice there were ants in the room in multiple spots, but our housekeeping came everyday and did a great job with turndowns. Breakfast was not good, felt like it was lacking flavour and options.

The pictures online and on Instagram are NOT at all what is actually there. It is in dire need of updating. No free coffee for guests. You have to either pay 2 euro or get the 20 euro breakfast to get coffee. It is not at all worth what I paid per night. I feel like I was scammed by pictures online that are not accurate. How can you not provide coffee in the morning for guests at that price?!!! They should be embarrassed by the pool area and gym. Both dirty and neglected. What a shame.

The pool on the roof is really great and the photos of the rooms are very misleading. They only show you handful of the rooms that have actually been made up since the 90s the other rooms are old and outdated. We had to move on the first night due to a smell of sewage in our room this was sorted by the staff, but still put us in one of the old-fashioned rooms

This was our second visit to this hotel. Perfect location. Closeto the train station, tram stop and shops and beach not far. The rooftop bar and pool are fab even in April. Only downside is you cannot open a window and rely on the air con.

Great central location and good value. Breakfast was nice, however sometimes when they are short staffed the hot buffet can take a while to be refilled. Prefer ceramic mugs over paper cups and a door to seal off the shower tray so water doesn't seep out when showering but all things l can live with. Comfortable and functional room / bathroom with power shower, would be nice however to have bit more storage space. Overall paid a good price so fair experience.

Nice hotel in a good location

The hotel is very easy to access via the tram direct from the airport, alighting at Jean Medecin it is only a 5 minute walk away. Being central it is very well situated to walk to all areas of the city and neighbouring towns such as Villa Franche.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the interior of the hotel is modern and welcoming.
Unfortunately the weather was not kind during our stay, raining much of the time; we were therefore unable to use the loungers on our balcony, in the garden or by the pool, however there were plenty for sunnier visits!
The bedrooms are spacious, bedding comfortable and with black out shutters for a good night's sleep. One minus point is due to the energy saving lighting they are quite dimly lit, and surprisingly no light at all in the area where the kettle is, which we felt quite hazardous. Also milk is not provided, you would have to go to the bar to fetch if you need it with the tea and coffee supplied - there is a mini fridge so it seems strange that at least some form isn't in the room - you don't really want to leave your room first thing in the morning in your nightwear to go in search of some!
The floor area outside leading to the pool looked quite shabby and requiring tlc. Otherwise the decor throughout appeared in good condition and clean, the lounge area near reception is pleasant.
Breakfast was excellent-a really good choice and the fresh baguettes were sublime!
Would stay again -issues were minor and the positives outweigh

The location was brilliant, just off the busy main street however our room was very quiet.
The breakfast was okay good enough choice for us although some might prefer more cooked options, we were more than happy.
Transport was walkable and very reasonable in price which allowed us to explore.
Easy walk to the old town which was beautiful and had a great choice of restaurants.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall would definitely go back to Nice and happily stay at this hotel again.

We would stay here again. If you have a car you get a preferred rate at the car park next door (it doesn't connect to the hotel, you must walk outside and go up steps so load and unload prior to parking). Very pet friendly we had our 3 kg dog who was welcomed nicely and the staff knew his name. You must bring your own dog bed and pet bowl. There is a lovely courtyard with pretty gardens for guests which provides a quiet oasis in the middle of the city. The bathrooms are dated but clean.

The position of the hotel was excellent, close to transport and attractions
We booked a suite which had a balcony with outdoor seating and a couple of lounge chairs. The bathroom was very spacious and had a seperate toilet.
Only only problem that really needs addressing is the beds, they were NOT COMFORTABLE, in fact they were so hard I had to sleep on pillows to try and get some sort of softness. Also they do not know what a blanket is.

The staff here are amazing! I lost my phone whilst up at the pool and the staff did everything possible to help me find it. The manager is the bar upstairs even took me to a local mobile store to translate for me. All the staff were amazing! The phone turned up 2 hours later, I’d jumped in the pool with it and it was at the bottom! The manger kept it for me and dried it. It worked fine afterwards as waterproof.
What a great hotel, and amazingly helpful staff. Situated in a great location centrally and with plenty to do both inside the hotel and in the surrounding area. 10 out of 10 Mecure Notre Damn!!!

Fridge & safe inside the room, secure, clean, areas available (rooftop bar & pool, main floor lobby, garden, lounge area), eco-friendly water fountains on every floor to refill your own bottles.

They provide different towels to use by poolside.

Housekeeping was great.

Beds are standard to what we have experienced in Italy.

The Air-conditioning needs adjusting it for it to be effective when it's hot during the day if you are in the room & you open the curtains.

Would love if the windows could open to allow fresh air in the rooms. Its probably designed this way for safety.

Would also love if lighter blankets or just flat sheets were used for blankets (we didnt think to ask). Our trip was in August & the standard blankets, though very comfortable, didn't need to be heavy.

Location is very good. Easy to walk to many places. Loved seeing the Notre Dame every day.

We would love to stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location and close to everything. However upon arrival it seemed that my fiancé and i were placed what seemed to be in the back hotel and instructed to use the elevator that did not require card access. We get to our room which was out dated and the toilet was running nonstop. The hotel was responsive and fixed the toilet. Minutes later when attempting to shower, there was water all over the floor due to a leak in the shower door. After informing the front desk and requesting a room change, we were moved to the front of the hotel which was updated and much nicer. I am unsure as to why we were placed in the oldest part of the hotel when rooms were available ( same reservation type). I am unsure if this was treatment because we were an interracial couple or american. Whatever the reason, it was unfortunate and would not recommend for those traveling from the US.

Hotel location is great, 15-20 minute walk to tourist area and beaches. Nice rooftop bar/pool with good drinks and views. The only cons are that the bed was not overly comfortable and the room doesn’t have much for sound barrier between walls and floors.

Pros: good central location, bed comfy, powerful shower

Cons: sofa bed for 16yr old son not made up on arrival - had to request (it was 11pm) was told to “open the sofa” eventually got it through to staff that there was no bedding - receptionist came to sort out
Cups, coffee and towels left for 2 people - had to request extra
Key cars stopped working daily and had to be redone - no apology from staff
Shower gel only partially full and ran out on final day
Towels not replenished
Air conditioning not very cool

There was a courtyard garden, clearly no one checked it, a dirt plastic bottle was outside our window for days, not until day 6 did I go and move it myself.

Also no irons, only an ironing room, which is nonsense for a 4 star hotel, when yo7 have an autistic wife, this is not suitable a and the hotel needs to make provisions for disabled and vulnerable customers and have at least a couple available for the rooms, would never happen in the UK or USA.

Also staff local knowledge on shops being open was poor, our flight was delayed and the chap on reception told us all the supermarkets where now closed, having traveled to France for the last 20 years plus we knew he was wrong, however if we were new to France that was bad information for customers.

Roof top bar was very expensive, yes it had views of buildings roofs! But it was nothing that special at all, and would have used more if better prices.

Claims to have sound proof rooms, that’s a joke, we were kept awake by banging doors until gone 3am every night, get soft closers like other hotels and also you could hear into the next rooms, noisy neighbours

It was disappointing as a member of this hotel group, location was perfect that’s all I can say positively

We had a lovely room on arrival until we sat on the bed!
The staff reacted promptly and efficiently. We were allocated to a new room, same layout and spec, no hassle.
We had a great stay. We took advantage of the rooftop bar which was reasonably priced. We didn’t realise there was a pool which looked so inviting.
All in all a great hotel with attentive staff in a great location.

Checked into the classic room and was highly disappponted very bare room. Immediately upgraded the room to the Jr Suite and that worked out better for us. Very spacious, nice decor, big bathroom with a nice balcony with furniture. The towels were horrible, could use new towels. Room service was great! Staff helpful, helped with booking excursions. Restaurant bar was ok.

The hotel has a very good position just off Avenue Jean Medecin and opposite Basilica North Dame. Check - in was good, but paying a security deposit was a surprise.Our room was clean and the furnishings were basic. Crack in the bathroom sink. Two little milk cartons and two teabags each day. We tried once to have dinner, but the menu was limited, and because of the earlier rain, outdoor seating was still wet. Never went back. The hotel gave the impression of tiredness.
A major plus was the helpfulness of the two staff who
kindly located and printed our boarding pass.
